What Could Have Been Unreal
there is a sorrow that i do not want to speak
it is something that i cannot give away
there is time that keeps on going and if i stay
i will just be left out and buried in this delay
there is a grief that cannot really be spoken
there is this pain that goes on and one
there are empty parks and empty cafes
there are closed doors and locked rooms
there is this self sometimes that does not open
there are fingers that remain closed upon themselves
there is a song that i can only sing inside myself
there is this poem that keeps on evading what is it that could have been said
all these are mine alone and all these keep me moving on
remembering, loving in silence, keeping the tears frozen, creating what could have been unreal.

Behind Closed Doors
Written by new order
There is a secret place
Underneath a tree
Where if you go and haste
You will find a key
The key will open doors
And you will look inside
The things that you will see
Will open up your eyes
At any given time
On every other street
The city comes to life
Though everyones asleep
A man beats up his wife
He doesnt wanna keep
Behind closed doors
Theyre in retreat
I dont know what makes me stay
The city life just aint the same
Theres something wrong with kids today
I blame the parents anyway
Theres no hope
No one to trust
I cant cope
Its obvious
Please dont take my drugs away
Im gonna give them up someday
There is a place somewhere
That I could call a home
Id live without a care
Id never be alone
One day I will get there
I feel it in my bones
I check upon the scores
I listen to the coors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
They still want more
Behind closed doors

What Poem Will The Night Lead Me To?
WHAT POEM WILL THE NIGHT LEAD ME TO?
What poem will the night lead me to?
The silence says ‘none’.
I remember too much
Inside I am afraid
I hear nothing but closed- in- ness
So much world waiting
And I cannot go there—
How much time is left for me
To delay away my life in?
I cannot do the work
I cannot save my own work
Of all that I have done
Little or none will remain
The stars say it does not matter
And all we are small we are will go away
But I here loving so much
Cannot say no forever yet
To my dreams-

Closed Door
Do you know that it hurts?
Do you know that I cry?
Do you know that I'm broken,
Deep down inside?
Do you know that I'm scared?
Do you know that I tried?
Do you know that I'm empty,
And I said my goodbyes?
I know you don't love me.
I don't blame you.
Because nobody sees
Behind closed doors.
I am a closed door.
A lock with no key.
I'm trapped inside
My world of Quiet.
I can't let you in.
I can't let me out.
I'm just a Nothing
That the world can live without.
So goodbye, goodbye,
To the sun and blue sky.
Goodbye to a life
That left me behind.
I'm leaving you behind now.
Because it hurts.
And because I'm scared.
And because nobody sees
Behind closed doors.
Behind Locked And Closed Doors
The very same dudes,
Who had accused me of being less than manly...
Are turning up with bloodied noses.
From activities they wish to keep 'down low'.
You know...
Discreet and off the streets.
As if to keep their deeds secret.
Those doors swinging open from closed closets,
Are producing havoc for 'straight' relationships.
And I had at one time been on the sidelines watching.
But experiences as they are and have been experienced...
I can only wish those the best of luck,
Who know the difference between being monogamous...
And those who are straight up whores,
Behind locked and closed doors.
'What is going on today? '
I can't tell.
They keep moving out of my focus.
And I need to get stronger binoculars.
Here take a peek.
Tell me what you see.

Defining The Kind Of Silence He Needs
it is like the silence of an empty room
not keeping anything
not holding
not gripping hands
or gnashing teeth
the windows are not closed
or the doors
to keep a hounding silence
it is a silence with still air
you hear me breathing in
and out
of my nostrils
nothing kept like grudges
nothing hidden like
some disappointments
it is the silence that heals
that gathers strength
the silence of your gratitude
the silence that rests
the silence
of the soul in solitude
the silence of peace
one that looks out
to the grandeur yet to come
one that waits patiently
the silence of
glory
godlike
humane, and seeks to understand
the one that drives
confusion away
like a bird
nesting its eggs for days
on a stable branch

Solitude Souls
The blacktop road is shining smooth
Empty trash bins mocking the truth
Grown up trees remain in mute
Golden leaves look so cute
Wind works-out on closed windows
Sky chats with the shut doors
Clouds tease with Concrete groves
Majestic houses on all the floors
Locked inside the concrete walls
Comforts, Cash and zombie hearts?
As far as my eye could see
My street is totally empty!
I search with frenzy
If my shadow is with me..
A distant twilight's mockery
'Solitude Souls live here free
Like those in a cemetry! '

The Cage
you broke the bread
we drank the wine
your lip was bleedin' but it was fine
come on inside babe
across the line
i love you more than i
but then this bird just flew away
she was never meant to stay
oh to keep her caged would just delay the spring
you broke your word
now that's a lie
we had a deal that you would try
come on inside girl
i think it's time
high time we drew the line
but then this bird just flew away
while i looked the other way
oh to keep her caged would just delay the spring
you broke my soul dear
you stole the plot
you left an empty shot
there's nothing left here
cos you took the lot
an empty cage is all i've got
cos when your bird has flown away
she was never meant to stay
oh to keep her caged would just delay the spring
to keep her caged would just delay the spring

Betty
Oh Betty
You know I loved you so
I'm shattered
It hurt so much to see you go
Give me your heart, I'll keep it beating
And your blood will spill no more
Oh I want to love you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
Oh Betty
Don't tell heaven where you've been
Don't you know that needing love is not a sin
Give me your soul, I'll be it's keeper
And the words I speak will be yours
Oh I try to hate you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
And the leaves are starting to fall from the trees again
And I remember when
And autumn wind sang a song of a sin
But I wasn't ready
Oh Betty
Oh Betty
Don't tell heaven where you've been
Didn't you know that needing love is not a sin
Give me your heart, I'll keep it beating
And your blood will spill no more
Oh I want to love you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
You closed the greatest of doors

Doors Opened And Closed
Our God can open any door, making things better than before,
That last place in which He chose, to permit that door to close.
He takes us on a chosen path, through that uncertain aftermath,
Working out all for our good, doing for us what we never could.
Nothing can hinder God at all, no matter how big, or how small,
He, who moves the heart of a king, is not hindered by anything.
God always works in His time, a schedule that is so unlike mine,
As God deals with me faithfully, I need to wait on God patiently.
Seeing no doors opened now, I must not question why or how?
As all doors still seem closed, to see what is not yet disclosed,
When I do not understand, knowing His heart, I see God’s hand.
As it may be a time for me to wait, while God’s help I anticipate.
Some doors are closed to stay, and inaccessible to our dismay,
Forced out of a comfort zone, but, we’re not forced to go alone,
Moved by God’s plan instead, guided by Grace, to move ahead,
And in His Grace, strength we find, to leave familiar ways behind.
Whether doors are closed or left ajar, in your earthly life thus far,
God will always open one for us, when in Him we place our trust,
And believers need not to despair, as our Lord shall always care,
For each one of us until we see, the Glorious Door up in Eternity.

My Heart Is Done
And now my heart is done
Tired and broken by the lies
The silence I have come accustomed to
Love presented no open doors
For each closed before my feet
And I once so loving, hope filled
Feel ashamed and defeated
Having chanced my heart over and again
For nothing but a sorrowful poem
Something penned to ease my pain
The loneliness I cannot describe
The are few who would listen anyhow
It is strange the effect of heartache
How it shapes your words and actions
Unable to communicate or trust
You become a character of occasion
Never playing a true part
Then a light a belief to risk once more
Only for nothing, nothing again
No other heart to keep company
Just another closed door
So that is it, now one too many
My heart is done

Time Passes
Time is passing while I am waiting
For true life to have some meaning-
Time is passing and I blindly
Count to ten upon my fingers-
Not knowing and not even able to distinguish
What is real from what is not?
One, two, three and the voices inside me won't stop commanding-
Four, five and six-
All I see are snakes within the bleakness and confinement of this room-
Seven, eight, and nine, and even through this dim light I believe I am being watched-
I count aloud to ten upon my fingers and
Time is passing and all that is all that I hear for the moment-
All that I see, I reach out to touch or to open my eyes to see-
Time has passed and everything is silent, without a trace of
Ever being near and once more I count,
Starting at seven, eight and then nine- watching the second hand on the wall clock and
Ten? Ten more hours to be locked inside of this empty, room where
The walls are barren and I am alone with my thoughts-
Time is passing and I would be running away, but there is nowhere to run to, except to
Places inside of my mind and one, two three and all that I see is
The walls of this empty room and a locked door-
I could count from one to a thousand and
Inside of this room I would remain- I could count to one million and
I would die before I even got there- so I count from one to three over and over because
Everything is seemingly easier when I am lost inside the world of my fantasies and
I realize now what is not truly real and threatening shall never harm me and
Time is passing and as I count, I am blissfully losing myself inside the world
I have made here inside of my mind for myself, alone…
This way time may pass even before the sun rises tomorrow, and then-and then?
My life perhaps shall have some meaning-

Closed Doors Of The Mind
No one knows what goes on behind
the closed doors of the mind.
Thoughts that sometimes inspire
the deeds that transpires.
Many have tried to find the key
to unlock the secrets that are enclosed within,
buried deep behind
the closed doors of the mind.
The lust and deprivation
that sometimes conspire
to be set free
or the eternal love of life
that can rise to the fore.
Both are hidden in the crevasses
behind the closed doors of our mind.

My Guitar And A Penutbutter Jar
I sit and play my guitar all day
as my fingers lay on the strings so tight
strumming it lightly
make sounds of pain
my fingers are bleeding but i dont care
the pain i feel inside is much stronger
why am i still alive?
can i take this any longer?
his voice tells me to keep playing on
my hearts want to die after my last song
i reach for the jar of penutbutter
they say there is happyness at the bottom
but they lie
the only thing i have left
is my guitar and an empty penutbutter jar
scrapping at the bottom as it keeps me busy
my hearts are screaming PICK UP THE BLADE! !
dont put it down because its the only happeness you will ever know
its hard to stop some times i give in and do it
the blood flowing from my wrist to my guitar
my tears mixing in
so maybe there is hapyness in
my self mutilation, my guitar
and at the end of an empty penutbutter jar

Closed Door
sometimes we want to enter
a door
a closed door that does not open
no matter how hard we
knock
we try being courteous and gentle
and so patient
eating every waiting time
like we are the most foolish of all fools
knocking a closed door
seducing it more often with our
pleadings
begging and even compromising
for a dance
to convince the owner of the door to
open it
but no one hears, no one cares to listen
to our pleadings,
no one likes the dance of compromises
the door is still closed
and then the last crooked thing happens
we take the axe
and break the door which is closed
forcing it open
only to find that all the people there are dead
there is nothing inside
but mystery and
grief
an unsolved crime, no more
no less.

You Closed Your Eyes I Caressed You
you closed your eyes I caressed you
with this music not mine
this song not yours
the music
sung by this voice
you closed your eyes I caressed you
and all thoughts that came
with all that we felt
with this music not mine
all then was ours
together we were
you closed your eyes I caressed you
not just you not just me
in silence we bonded
with this music not mine
our tears were the same
when she sang
you closed your eyes I caressed you
with this music not yours and not mine
closing your eyes, I caressed you
with this music not mine
this song not yours
we heard this voice
and all thoughts that came
all we felt
all was ours
not just mine
not yours
in silence we bonded
our tears
were the same

The Show
You give me pain you don't know,
All you see is just a show.
Crying out from deep within,
You see the show about to begin.
Screaming out from my soul,
Your laughter fills this empty hole.
My heart rips out, you still can't see,
How much pain you caused me.
Crying, dying on the floor,
Fighting in this heartless war.
A war of anger, war of pain,
Bleed it out, let it drain.
Weakly calling out your name,
My final cry to you in vain.
My breath is shallow, vision blurred,
Silence surrounds me, nothing heard.
Your smile fades and turns to fear,
As this 'show' becomes so clear.
Your world has stopped, time is froze,
The curtains of my eyes have closed.
Sorrow fills your time and space,
Tears stream down your lovely face.
My pain was real and now you know,
End of life...end of show.

The Son Never Shines (On Closed Doors)
I saw her there from afar
Her hair grey charcoal
Takes a drag from her tar
I kissed her a smile
But her blood red shot eye
Said the son never shines on closed doors
It's been eight long years since I saw
The woman who's labored
Since the day I was born
These wrinkles now face
To that cold dark damp place
Where the son never shines on closed doors
She said the son never shines on closed doors
I open to find only hurricanes blow
Take me away back to the green fields of May
Because the son never shines on closed doors
Death comes like a theif in the night
To steal while you sleep
The soul's flickering licght
Well maybe it's then
She said

Key To My Life
You're the key to my life...
Rain on the window covers the trace
Of all the tears that I've had to waste
And now I'm missing you so
And I won't let you go away
Stain on the desktop where coffee cups lay
And memories of you forever will stay
And the scent of your perfume
And the smile on your face will remain...
And I never gave up hope when things got me down
But I just bit on my lip and my face began to frown
Cos that was just my pride and I've nothing else to hide
And now the way is clear and all I want to say is..
All of my life the doors have been closed now
And all of my dreams have been locked up inside
But you came along and captured my heart

about you
what shall i say about you?
ah, i prefer my
silence
this is my cure about
you
yes, my silence
it shall speak about
you my silence
my very own silence
to speak about your
long silence
now we are at peace
in our silence
both shall speak about
us yes our silence
our marital silence in
the silence of our bed
the root of all our
troubles freud say is in
the silence of our beds
two beds now
four meters apart
speaking in silence
the silence of the house
and the chairs
and the staircases
and the carpets and
the ticks and the
empty glasses or those
cold coffee and
frozen butter.

The Broken Vessel
Got a little room closed
But it seems more space wide open
Maybe because the thing used to cover
Is the wall of heart it self
My heart no longer works to feel
Could no longer tastes other’s feeling
Only beautiful showcase
It’s empty inside
Got another room cleaned
From remains memories that disturbs me
It’s getting cold, I hope
If I stop thinking of you
You will be gradually disappeared
This is the way all the love ends
This is the way the heart’s changed
And I’m fooling my self that everything is fine
Got amount of tear locked
But endless cries start to come
It will be bored as time goes by
The wound would be healed
But it won’t forget the pain
I will act like a loving friend
You will act like a care brother
And you’ll never learn anything of my broken heart
