I'm enjoying acting and that's the best way to look at these things. If you don't enjoy it then it's not worth doing. It is hard work at the end of the day, they're working you for every mile you fly so it's worth enjoying, it's worth relishing every moment you get.

Hooked On The Memory Of You
Written by: neil diamond sung with: kim carnes
Stay with me, here with me
I want you near with me
Long as youre near with me
Im your man
Hooked on the memory of you
Lie with me, lay with me
Want you to stay with me
Know I am
Hooked on the memory of you
Time, time standing still
I know its you
I always will
Need you to
Love with me, lie with me
Spend your desires with me
Im your man
Hooked on the memory of you
And i, ? ? ? ?
I only know that how sure I am
Hooked on the memory of you

A Famous Man
he was observing from the
upper part of his terrace
an old woman down the street
eating a ripe mango
without slicing them
using her bare hands
peeling it and sucking
the pulp
savoring every sap
she is enjoying it
she is enjoying it
she is enjoying it
that is what he says
he writes, she is enjoying it
and yet he is so famous
in this city
munching what fame is
there
tailored for him

A Night With You
When I Pick you up, I tell myself I am going to enjoy this night with you,
When we Sit across from each other at dinner, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When you hold my hand and we sit and talk, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When you are out there on the dance floor I'm watching you move so elegant and sexy, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When I come up behind you and turn you around, you look at me with them passion blue eyes, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When you kiss me so softly with your sexy silky lip, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When it time to take you home I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When you kiss me good night and I watch you walk away, I tell myself I'm enjoying this night with you,
When I driving home I think to myself, how I enjoy my night with you,
When I laying in bed, wishing that I can enjoy the rest of my night with you,
When I woke up in the morning I realize what just happen, that I just enjoy the most wonderful night with you.

I'm not qualified to do anything else. So there better be another job. I'm kind of stuck now. I'm enjoying my life and I'm enjoying my work, and I'm enjoying the fact that the work I'm doing is garnering some interest and that's great. I just hope that it continues.

My Canadian Chronicles 19
Sitting in the sunshine
enjoying the silence of the day.
Relaxing, as all my worries
seem a million miles away.
I don’t want reality to ever kick in
as I sit enjoying the sunshine
on a peaceful summer’s day.
I am enjoying all nature’s natural sounds
like the birds chirping in the trees.
Enjoying summers stance
as the smell of new mowed grass
perfumes the summer day.
It is just like heaven
relaxing on a summer’s day.

Hooked On Rock & Roll
The boy could play before he learned to grow
Worked in a band who had no name at all
Every mornin at the break of dawn
You could see him draggin home his drums
I was vaccinated with a little needle
And Im hooked on rock and roll
They called the family doctor to see what he could do
Doc said no you cant cure his soul
Once hes infected with the blues
So I travelled round from town to town singin out the news
I was vaccinated with a little needle
And Im hooked on rock and roll
When you find you got no mind
To work from nine to five
Find the back beat, set your heart free
And feel that music runnin through your feet
Mama told me long ago
Aint no future in that rock n roll
And I said hey mama, its burnin hot inside my soul
Its like a fever that wont cool down
Ive been addicted since I heard that sound
I was vaccinated with a little needle
And Im hooked on rock and roll
When you find you got no mind (bop shoo bop, bop bop shoo bop)
To work from nine to five
Find the back beat, set your heart free
(bop shoo bop, bop bop shoo bop)
And feel the music runnin through your feet
Mama told me long ago
Aint no future in that rock n roll
And I said hey mama, its burnin hot inside me soul
Its like a fever that wont cool down
Ive been addicted since I heard that sound
I was vaccinated with a little needle
And Im hooked on rock and roll, yeah
Hooked on rock and roll
(Ive been addicted since I heard that sound)
Hooked on rock and roll
Hooked on rock and roll
(its like a fever that wont cool down)
Hooked on rock and roll, yeah, yeah, yeah
Hooked on rock and roll
(its burnin, burnin, burnin in my soul)
Hooked on rock and roll
Hooked on rock and roll
(Ive been addicted since I heard that sound)
Hooked on rock and roll
Hooked on rock and roll
Hooked on rock and roll
Hooked on

Rookie Hooked
It takes a rookie,
For some to take a look...
At actions taken,
Sometimes that can be shaky.
It takes fresh eyes,
That doesn't criticize.
Without a judgement passing,
From lips not thinking...
To blurt a crudeness,
Loud with pride
No matter how high people get,
Wishing they could fly...
There will always be a rookie hooked,
With eyes opened wide.
No matter what some people do,
To think they can't be touched.
Their reach is often teachable,
To someone who's not rooted...
To being rude and snooty!
It takes a rookie,
For some to take a look...
At actions taken,
Sometimes that can be shaky.
No matter what some people do,
To think they can't be touched.
Their reach is often teachable,
To someone who's not rooted...
To being rude and snooty!
No matter how high people get,
Wishing they could fly...
There will always be a rookie hooked,
With eyes opened wide.
A rookie hooked.
There will be a rookie hooked.
With eyes wide open...
Who decide they're qualified.
A rookie hooked.
There will be a rookie hooked.
With eyes wide open...
Who decide they're qualified.
A rookie hooked.
There will be a rookie hooked.
With eyes wide open...
Who decide they're qualified.

I love acting with kids, cause they're great acting partners. They're totally present. Even when they're acting, they're still available and you can crack them up or something weird will happen and they'll go with it.

There were years when I was a beer and tequila guy, then I got real fat. And then I found that you could actually go on a diet and drink scotch. Then I got hooked on scotch, and if you get hooked on scotch, then everything else just tastes wrong.
Hooked On A Feeling
I cant stop this feeling
Deep inside of me
Boy you just dont realize
What you do to me
Your lips are sweet as candy
The taste is on my mind
You just keep my thirsty
For another cup of wine
When you hold me
In you arms so tight
You let me know
Eveythings alright
I, Im hooked on a feeling
Im high on believing
That youre in love with me
Ive got it bad for you, darling
But I dont need a cure
Ill just stay addicted
And hope I can endure
All the good love
When were all alone
Keep it up, boy
Yeah you turn me on
I, Im hooked on a feeling
Im high on believing
That youre in love with me
When you hold me
In your arms so tight
You let me know
Everythings alright
I, Im hooked on a feeling
Im high on believing
That youre in love with me
I said Im hooked on a feeling...

Hooked
(khayree)
1 2 3 4 hit it, hit it
Yea -- heres a story bout my homeboy randy
He was hooked on a girl named candy
Started off as sex for fun
Now the girls got him on the run.
Made love to her just one time
Now she runs his body and mind
He calls everyday on the phone
But babys playin games
Leave a message at the tone
Soft and gentle is not her style
This girl is so damn wild.
All my partners wanna get next to her
But she aint down with that
She moves right through em
Yea, like paper plates
Tears em up and she throws em away.
If you had any guts today
Youd get your butt up and youd walk away.
But youre hooked, hooked
Know what Im sayin, youre hooked, hooked.
Yo, get tough was your new campaign
Cryin over a girl, boy, youre insane.
She treats you like a dirty diaper
Use you one time and then she wipes you out
You understand what Im sayin?
If youre a man, youll stop delaying and betraying
Try to act like you were mack
You cant go an hour without that sex attack.
Whats wrong, boy, is it that good?
Theres a lot of girls that ould and could
Take you, but youre so damn weak
I think you need to see professional help
For your problems
Lay on the couch and let the dr. solve em
Talkin to you and now he took your money
Youre took on that honey, youre hooked
Hooked, hooked
Fellas, you know what Im sayin, hes hooked
Aint got an ounce of mack in him, hes hooked.
Yeah, baby, run you, she takes your money
While youll kick back cryin over honey
Now, I must admit shes fly
But Ill be damned if oh me oh my
If I ever let a girl run my thing
Im poppin it the most, you know what Im sayin?
So understand, you gotta be real hard
Dont treat her like a dog, but let her know.
Youll pull her card if she ever gets outta hand
What is you a boy or a man?
Stand up and tell baby you aint gonna be shook --
Yo punk, youre hooked on that sssy
I dont know why
I dont stand by and just let a girl, run over me
Fool -- Im a man. cant you see boy, youre hooked.
Yeah -- youre hooked, might as well give her to me man
Let me do the wile thing, youre hooked
Shoot, Im poppin it man, youre hooked.
Let me talk to you for second. so, whats up, vanilla?
Yo, man. come here man. what?
You know, man, you aint doin it right. youre off man.
See, you know what the problem is?
That ring I bought her. the diamonds werent big enough.
Im tellin ya -- the diamonds werent...Im goin...you know
What she wants...Im goin tell ya...no man, when I first
Met her she said she wanted a vette. Im gonna get her a
vette. no man, no...a vette...Im gonna get her the
vette. no man, hey, wait up.
Now its saturday, the day you hate most.
Why, because from coast to coast
You see girls everday in the club, cold kickin it
Reminds you of baby when you used to be, with it
But now she took you one time for sex and youre so sprung
That the next time she seen you we knew she had to leave you.
Boy, youre hooked.
Boy, youre hooked, hooked hooked.

The most significant piece of advice my father gave me early on about acting was, don't get caught acting. Really believe in what you're doing and then commit to it. Even if it feels uncomfortable, even if you feel that you're gonna look like an ass. It's all acting, but find the truth in a moment as opposed to just pretending you have and rather than trying to act your way out of it.

Acting As Your Slave
My hand asleep for hours
Waiting for the needles to begin
I have no control
They proceed to penetrate my skin
Acting as your slave I drink for amber waves
I never have embraced
Acting as your slave I drink an open grave
An epitaph defaced
Killing with compassion
She hasnt heard a word that I have said
Swallowing your passion
I can see a thousand miles ahead
Acting as your slave I drink for barricades
That I have often raised
Acting as your slave I numb my head and rave
Of epitaphs defaced
Acting as your slave I drink while she forgave
With trials left unfaced
Acting as your slave I stumble to her grave
An epitaph defaced
