The life of the village became more and more affected by strikes and lock-outs.

Ins and outs
Ins and outs
Ins and outs of technology
Ins and outs of business
Are the phrases with which
Most of us familiar
An individual’s experience and
Learning skills
Attendant with excellent execution
Make an individual
An expert in the ins and outs
Of a particular technology or business
A person too has ins and outs
Outs are those
Which get exhibited by the person’s
Talking and doing
While ins normally remain
Closed and only some close
Family members and friends
Are given to know it
Judging a person by the outs displayed
May prove wrong
As person is just his or her ins
Ins are mainly intensions
And often they are not made clear
Ins are displayed with masks
Guised often to be noble and humane
The mismatch between ins and outs
Makes an individual
Face conflicts within
And at times it goes beyond control
Though every one has a right to
Nurse ins and keep within
People of exemplary character
Display their ins
And they enjoy a perfect bliss
As they face no conflicts within
There is no need for them
To keep balancing
As they themselves are balanced
Basically the better match, if not a total match,
Between ins and outs
The happier you stay
With least time spent on
Resolving conflicts within
As a innocent child
Talk what you intend
And do what you talk
So that you remain
Comfortable with you

Im Affected
When I look into your big brown eyes and I feel
Like Im in paradise. I want you by my side.
cause Im affected, fected
Yeah, Im affected, fected. well Im affected.
And all I want is you.
Didnt know it a few years ago, but now finally
Know. I want you by my side.
I want you baby, baby, baby, baby.
Yeah, I love you and I want you to know.
Yeah, yeah, and thats for sure I want you
By my side. cause Im affected, fected

Under Lock & Key
Making promises you cant keep
Bringing down every one that you meet
Say whos it gonna be this time
Gonna use the same old line
Gone are the days of running free
Im gonna keep you under lock keep you under lock and key
Idle rumours surround you
I turned my head cos I knew they were true
Who you gonna lay on today
Ahh youre a bad news woman they say
Look what youre doing to me
Im gonna keep you under lock keep you under lock and key
Alright babe you had it coming and Im gonna lock you away
I said alright babe you best be runnin now
Youre thru with cheating on me
Im gonna keep you under lock and key
You wont get away this time
Youre thru with all your cheating and lying
Ooh this is the way its got to be
Im gonna keep you under lock keep you under lock and key
Im gonna keep you under lock keep you under lock and key
Im gonna lock you away
Im gonna throw away the key

The Mind
There rings the bell
The dream strikes hard
Awakening the girl
A dream so bad
There comes joy
The thoughts strike hard
Happy is the boy
In the end gets mad
There goes hope
Night strikes hard
Man hangs on a rope
A story so sad
There sounds the gun
Day dream strikes hard
The woman can't run
Just waits for the blood
There comes war
The life strikes hard
All on the floor
In the red liquid flood.

Village Ghetto Land
Would you like to go with me
Down my dead end street
Would you like to come with me
To village ghetto land
See the people lock their doors
While robbers laugh and steal
Beggars watch and eat their meals-from garbage cans
Broken glass is everywhere
Its a bloody scene
Killing plagues the citizens
Unless they own police
Children play with rusted cars
Sores cover their hands
Politicians laugh and drink-drunk to all demands
Families buying dog food now
Starvation roams the streets
Babies die before theyre born
Infected by the grief
Now some folks say that we should be
Glad for what we have
Tell me would you be happy in village ghetto land
Village ghetto land

Summer Fun
Roses
Dasies
Lovers
Lies
Hot sun
Cool beach
Sweet lips
Icy eyes
Camp outs
Grill outs
He puts in
She grows out
Cloudy skies
Teary eyes
Broken hearts
Baby's cries

Affected'!
They perceive themselves to be intelligent.
So they do their best to impress.
Expressing a kind of...
Hollowness.
And hints they have become,
'Affected'!
Without one sign,
That shows them to be basic.
Nothing to prove them to be grounded at all.
Not to anything of structured stability.
'Affected'!
Blinded by the blaze of pretension.
'Affected'!
That's what we use to call folks like that!
A tossed salad of deluded exclusiveness.
Harmless as well as annoying.
And difficult to keep respected.

Chickenguinea
Chicken guinea, yes it is chicken guinea
Villagers were told to listen to their plea
It was wide spread in whole of the village
It did not spare children, young and people of all the ages
It was wide spread in entire village
Just like epidemic, it started to take toll of all the ages
It had affected the persons when they were at work
Women while washing and men at their place of work
The laborer had spade up in air when affected
The house wife had no time to take out hand and act
The soap remained in hand while taking bath
All feared for life and medical teams were on rescue path
The actual cause remained unknown but was found
Some of the pigs were given poison while roaming around
Their bodies were scattered and lying in open
The germs spread immediately and effect was all of sudden
The human body parts were severely affected
Some had hand struck and could not lift hand or act
Legs and muscles were inviting lots of pain
It took heavy toll but worries and concern remained
Out of 15000 population three fourth of them were under attack
Entire population may complain about severe headache
I remember it had no medicine to offer any assistance
It remained for longer period with series of pains sequences
It brought some kind of awareness as it had to do with cleaning
The hygienic condition was to be maintained with real meaning
The disease was to remain over spread as it lacked proper handling
Yet it was tackled with whatever medicine was available and on hand
Some of the diseases are not spreading of their own
We are inviting them despite its seriousness is known
We wake up only when it is going out of hand
It affects everybody whether it is foe or friend

Global Village
Global village
Though we are all human
we are made to be different
by forces beyond our clout
Yet they want remake us
in a new image of their choice
in a village too big to be safe
The world they now call
a single village in the globe
with a big brother to match
As long as we are second class
within that large village fashioned
we would be subjected to
someone’s standards
someone’s culture
someone’s technology
someone’s understanding
someone’s world view
someone’s theories and concepts
They try hard in harder ways
to make us part of that village
but we know we are different
and shall strive to leave outside
that fashioned unsafe village

73 Metres Tall
Polytechnic education,
Vocational institutions,
But 73 metres tall is the tree in the middle of them!
And like the land of joy with a positive standard of education;
But the global village had now affected all of us today.

The Nurse's Watch
From 'The Boy's Wonderhorn'
The moon it shines,
My darling whines;
The clock strikes twelve:--God cheer
The sick both far and near.
God knoweth all;
Mousy nibbles in the wall;
The clock strikes one:--like day,
Dreams o'er thy pillow play.
The matin-bell
Wakes the nun in convent cell;
The clock strikes two:--they go
To choir in a row.
The wind it blows,
The cock he crows;
The clock strikes three:--the wagoner
In his straw bed begins to stir.
The steed he paws the floor,
Creaks the stable door;
The clock strikes four:--'tis plain
The coachman sifts his grain.
The swallow's laugh the still air shakes,
The sun awakes;
The clock strikes five:--the traveler must be gone,
He puts his stockings on.
The hen is clacking,
The ducks are quacking;
The clock strikes six:--awake, arise,
Thou lazy hag; come, ope thy eyes.
Quick to the baker's run;
The rolls are done;
The clock strikes seven:--
'Tis time the milk were in the oven.
Put in some butter, do,
And some fine sugar, too;
The clock strikes eight:--
Now bring my baby's porridge straight.

Cold And Empty
Maybe I've been on the road to long
Livin my life thru these songs
I guess lovin a music man
Really wasn't in your plans
Does it matter if I'm sorry again
And why should I apologize
You knew all along this was my life
You know my ins and outs
All my fears and doubts
Its the life I love
But its you I can't live without
And this whole world seems
Cold and empty
Someone please turn on the lights
Lord if there's an angel you could send me
I could use one here tonight
Now where am I supposed to go
My only home was in your soul
I know that I cant stay here
And drown in a pool of tears
Should I pack my pride
And face this life alone
And this whole world seems
Cold and empty
Someone please turn on the lights
Lord if there's an angel you could send me
I sure could use one tonight
Maybe its me who's cold and empty
And in my darkness I can't see the light
Please god if there's an angel
You could send me
Cause there's one missin from my life
You are my heart, you are my soul
Wherever you are, that where I go
You know my ins and outs
All of my fears and doubts
Its the life I love
But its you I can't live without
Yes its the life I love
But its you I can't live without
The life I love
The life I love
But its you I can't live without

Who is affected more when it's cold? Poor people. Who is affected more when it's hot? Poor people. Who is affected more when it's wet? Poor people. Who is most affected when the economy is bad? Poor people. Poor people are the most fragile.

Village Idiot
Did you see the lad, on the corner
He was standing drinking wine
Wears his overcoat in the summer
And short sleeves in the winter time
Takes his holidays, down at the bookies
Well he knows how to pick a horse
Village tramping round the countryside
He wears a smile, but he doesnt say much
Village idiot, hes complicated
Village idiot, simple mind
Village idiot, he does know something
But hes just not saying
Dont you know hes onto something
You can see it, you can see it in his eyes
Sometimes he looks so happy
As he goes strolling by
Oh village idiot, hes complicated
Village idiot, hes got a simple mind
Village idiot, must know something
But hes just not saying
Well you all know hes onto something
You can see it in his eyes
Sometimes he looks so happy
When he goes walking by
Sometimes he looks so happy
When he goes walking by
Sometimes he looks so happy
When he goes walking by.

Unconnected
Whether it is known or not,
Doesn't really matter...
Does it?
Who has been affected the most?
What feelings affected who's emotions?
And the one who uses this as gossip...
Will never know a comprehension,
Associated with a depth of thought!
They are there to be entertained,
Like the others.
And like the others who pass judgement...
It is what folks do who are unconnected!

Confession
Listen up
This is confession
This machine motion is sure to break my heart
Listen up
This is confession
Recorded music sticks in the throat of god.
I o u, you dont own me
I o u, you dont own me
Party time, one mor night, everybodys affected
Listen up
This is confession
You are a poison that flows into my veins.
Listen up
This is confession
Ive never been so scared of letting you down.
You know me, so come closer
You know me, so come closer
Party time, one more town, everybodys affected.
I know you, you dont need me
I know you, you dont need me
Party time, one more girl, everybodys affected
Listen up
This is confession
They tell me heaven just has to be somewhere
Listen up
This is confession
Id lie to God if I could make him believe.
You owe me, and I need you
You owe me, and I need you
Party time, one more game, everybodys affected
This is my confession
This is my confession
Party time, one more lie, everybodys affected

Knife in the Fog
Lock the now
hay may, hay may
Lock the now, and settle your fee
You may go in shield,
you may be seen unbroken
But thot the way
hay lo, hay lo
Crush the wall, and make you hurt
You may go down, you may feel tough
And still alive for a life
My say so, my say so

Inspired by Issa - My Home Village
my home village
the virgin mary still stands
young as ever
my home village
old friends like me
away from home
my home village
old friends live in
new homes
inspired by
my home village-
the winter rain targets
a standing Buddha

As I grew up in that world and saw how much it affected her world and how much it affected our childhood, it made me very aware of politics. Of course, I have my own private feelings and thoughts, but I don't care to share them.
