(You will need a computer for this)
(and some other stuff + electricty)
They you can pull stuff
up from them tubes
smart reading stuff
(if ya like that kinda thing)
or even important stuff
like how to knock down your old barn or shed
or even how to build a real bomb
(not for knocking down the barn though)
I know all this cause my congress man talked about it on TV
And George W. Bush says so two (I think cause he outta no)
The End (only the end of this poem)
If you like this poem a whole lot I think you should vote 9-10
(mostly 10 i hope)
If you like it some but not the very most maybe vote 6-8
(but you could still vote 9 or 10 to be nice)
If you only think it is middlin they go head and vote 5
(cause that's in the middle of 1-10)
If you kinda don't care for it you could vote it a 2,3, or 4
(that would be kinda low though)
If you hate this poem then you are left with only a 1
(there are no zero votes)
(But I think a 1 vote is not called for unless you are pretty mean though the last time I looked this was still a free country so you can vote 1 if that is how your mind runs)
Thanks for voting or not. (and tell your friends if you liked this poem)
probably don't tell them if you did not vote more than a 5

That's The Kind Of Love I Got For You
(d. fletcher / d. parks)
From a mountain high to a valley low
Stronger than the strongest and even more
Running deep, as deep can go
And can even turn your darkest clouds to falling snow
That's the kinda love i got for you, yeah
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-oo
I can't help myself
I can't help myself
Oh, i love ya
Well, i just can't help myself
Like falling water on desert sand
Making flowers grow on barren land, yeah
Ever growin', growin' long
Heaven only knows just how much it grows, ah
That's the kinda love i got for you-oo
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-oo
I can't help myself
I can't help myself
I love ya
Baby, i just can't help myself, no
I'm playing with fire
I've lost control, yeah
Oh this lovely feeling
Burns to my very soul
Burning hot, as hot as i can go
Can't seem to help myself
Just got to let you know
That's the kinda love i got for you
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-hoo
That's the kinda love i got for you, baby
That's the kinda love i got for, yeah
Oh, come and get it, honey
Can't help myself
This love of mine
Oh, it's getting stronger
Can't help myself
Can't wait much longer, yeah
I feel it for you, yeah
Oh, that's the kinda love i got for you
That's the kinda love i got for you, yeah

That's the kinda love i got for you, yeah
That's the kinda love i got for you, yeah-heah-heah

I'm 42 and the age of a guy who has kids, so I guess I'm playing right where I'm supposed to be. I'm comfortable with that, but in the same breath I'd do something edgy. If someone came to me and offered me an edgy and funny story, then I'd do it.

Im That Kinda Girl
Im that kinda girl
that has big dreams
Im that kinda girl
that have friends that believe in me
Im that kinda girl
that doesn't take no mess
but though im stressed
from living this teenage life
Im in love with a city in which i stay
its called atlanta
and when im far away i call just to say hey
im that kinda girl
plans her future as she goes
Im that kinda girl
that is often in her own world
yep im that kinda girl

Living In The Material World
Im living in the material world
Living in the material world
Cant say what Im doing here
But I hope to see much clearer,
After living in the material world
I got born into the material world
Getting worn out in the material world
Use my body like a car,
Taking me both near and far
Met my friends all in the material world
Met them all there in the material world
John and paul here in the material world
Though we started out quite poor
We got richie on a tour
Got caught up in the material world
From the spiritual sky,
Such sweet memories have i
To the spiritual sky
How I pray
Yes I pray
That I wont get lost
Or go astray
As Im fated for the material world
Get frustrated in the material world
Senses never gratified
Only swelling like a tide
That could drown me in the
Material world
From the spiritual sky,
Such sweet memories have i
To the spiritual sky
How I pray
Yes I pray
That I wont get lost
Or go astray
While Im living in the material world
Not much giving in the material world
Got a lot of work to do
Try to get a message through
And get back out of this material world
Im living in the material world
Living in the material world
I hope to get out of this place

03-26-2010*** The Heart of A Writer's Studio
What pulls me to horde
Old pencils new pens
Newspaper clippings
Books magazines and my notes
My home office has
Stacks of papers on the floor
I have or plan to
Go through and organize
The room scares my wife
She tries not to look in
She knows it'll take a shovel
And a dumpster if I die
There are orrginal first drafts
Several revisions
There's works-in-progress
I still have to decide about
She see no progress
Only the mess
That continues to grow
If they're organized it doesn't show
As long as my stuff
Does not spill out
To the rest of the house
We have a truce
Kinda like North and South Korea
Kinda like the Jews and Palisatinians
I'm glad my window does not face the sea
That's where she'd push my stuff and me

Some Kinda Good Kinda (Hold On Me)
She's got some kinda good kinda hold on me
She's some kinda fine sho-nuff sweet
Wrapped up in her love is I wanna be
She's got some kinda good kinda hold on me
I can't get enough of my baby's huggin' and kissin'
I never knew a girl who could do what she's doing to me
With just one touch she cast a spell
I'm tangled up

Some Kinda Love
Written by al hodge, leslie duncan & tony cox
They set the wheels in motion adam and eve
The beginning of romance
He was a lonely man I do believe
So he thought hed take a chance
I know just how he was feeling
Hed been advised not to fall
But when his senses were reeling
That man he wanted it all
Honey this is some kinda love
You are my sweet temptation
Honey this is some kinda some kinda love
Like a moth to a flame all you gotta do is call my name
Ill come running to you
I was a lonely man until you came
Life was black life was blue
Without a word being spoken
I saw you then I knew
Now my defences are broken
Theres not a thing I can do
Honey this is some kinda love
You are my sweet temptation
Honey this is some kinda some kinda love oh baby
Honey this is some kinda love
Were just one step from heaven
Honey this is some kinda some kinda love
Oh girl theres a fire in my soul
Im just burning for you
Oh girl Im out of control
Tell me can you feel it too
Im burning up Im burning up
Theres a fire in my soul
Im burning up Im burning up
For you
Honey this is some kinda love
You are my sweet temptation
Honey this is some kinda some kinda love
Honey this is some kinda love
Were just one step from heaven
Honey this is some kinda some kinda love

My Kinda Life
Right from early days from the moment I was born
I would take my guitar in the early early mornin
And go down to the fields and play-ay-ay
Sittin down there in the long grass strummin
I could see the people from miles around comin
To hear me sing my music and play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days
Well we made it to the city just me and my guitar
That was where I found a freaky little bar
I sat there on the stage and play-ay-ayed
Well up came a guy who said it wasnt plastic
He wanted me to sing away my life or something drastic
But all I wanna do is play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days
Well fame and fortune Ive let them pass me by
No one in the country could say I didnt try
To turn the people and to play-ay-ay
You can keep all the money and the places that go with it
Cos all I want is freedom and no cash could ever get it
All I wanna do is play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days

All Screwed Up
You think your kinda tough
You're walkin' kinda rough
When you want any more
You go fast wo' wo' wo'
Things go tough
And you strut your stuff
And I want your thing
Then you're out of luck
Yes you are
It's all screwed up
All screwed up
It's all screwed up
All screwed up
Take you out to kick some butt
Work you over screw you nuts
And when you can't take no more
Then she push you out that door
Things go hard
Like a dog gone mad
She can pack some punch
Then you're out to lunch

Kinda Fonda Wanda
Well, I went with mary lou
Tried peggy sue
Had a date with donna
And barbara ann too
But Im kinda fonda wanda.
Kinda fonda wanda.
Yeah, Im kinda fonda wanda.
cause wanda always wanna, wanna, wanna.
Well, I went out with jenny
Took out skinny minnie
Long tall sally
And short fat fanny.
But Im kinda fonda wanda.
Kinda fonda wanda.

cause wanda always wanna, wanna, wanna.
Did the bop with miss ann
The swim with mary ann,
The stroll with betty lou
Screwed runaround sue
But she wasnt as good as wanda,
No, shell never be as good as wanda.

My Kinda Woman
Written by russ ballard, 1983
Found on your move and the very best of america.
Ive been in love, girl, so many times before
Theyd love me and leave me, I thought I knew the score
Id fall in love no more
I was walking in shadows then, my life a lonely road
I was walking to nowhere, with a heavy loaded heart
To laugh I played the part
(do, do, do ... ) then came that magic day
I saw you as you walked my way
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Yeah, youre my kinda woman
And I cant help but tell you that you are (you are)
Yes, you know you are
Girl, you know you are (yes you are, you know you are, you know you are)
The longer together then, the more we fell in love
No makin or breakin up, now I know I found real love
And I cant get enough (oo, I love you, I really love you)
So good to be winnin now, I never thought Id do
You got me spinnin, honey its all down to you
Youre there to see me through (oo, I love you, I really love you, yes I love you)
(do, do, do ... ) and from just one kiss
Who would believe that it would be like this
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Yeah, youre my kinda woman
And I cant help but tell you that you are (you are)
Yes, you know you are
Girl, you know you are (yes you are, you know you are, you know you are)
My kinda woman I know that this is really love
Therell be no breakin up, oh no
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Here she comes, my kinda woman
Yeah, youre my kinda woman
And I cant help but tell you that you are (you are)
Yes, you know you are
Girl, you know you are (yes you are, you know you are)
Oh, yes you are

Floral Scented Teases Of Repeated Love Sonnets
You have commented more than once,
That my writings are a bit edgy, sinister...
And a little dark and critical.
I agree.
There is something about reality that attracts me.
'My' reality that 'is'.
However...
Your floral scented teases of repeated love sonnets,
Just doesn't depict the 'hood' I embrace.
And trust me...
Anything edgy, sinister, dark and critical I write,
Is for me a motivator that would chase you away.

70s Love Groove
Hey baby
Just let me do all the work
Wait, let me put this record on
Tonight youre all mine
Chorus:
Afros, incense, and black lights
Love beads, mood rings, and candle light
Zodiac says the time is right
For a 70s love groove
Do you like my body?
Ive got on what you like
Take your time, weve got all night
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Wait, be a good boy and put this on
You know you want me
Tell me, tell me you want me
I want you to tell me what to do
Tell me
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Anything, anything baby
Ill take you places youve never been before
Touch me here, now touch me there
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Sensual... just waiting her for you baby
Let me take it out... I love it when you...
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Your smooth and shiny
Feels so good against my lips
I want you so bad
I can taste your love right now
Youve got me so wet
I want you inside me
