That's The Kind Of Love I Got For You
(d. fletcher / d. parks)
From a mountain high to a valley low
Stronger than the strongest and even more
Running deep, as deep can go
And can even turn your darkest clouds to falling snow
That's the kinda love i got for you, yeah
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-oo
I can't help myself
I can't help myself
Oh, i love ya
Well, i just can't help myself
Like falling water on desert sand
Making flowers grow on barren land, yeah
Ever growin', growin' long
Heaven only knows just how much it grows, ah
That's the kinda love i got for you-oo
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-oo
I can't help myself
I can't help myself
I love ya
Baby, i just can't help myself, no
I'm playing with fire
I've lost control, yeah
Oh this lovely feeling
Burns to my very soul
Burning hot, as hot as i can go
Can't seem to help myself
Just got to let you know
That's the kinda love i got for you
That's the kinda love i got for you-hoo-hoo
That's the kinda love i got for you, baby
That's the kinda love i got for, yeah
Oh, come and get it, honey
Can't help myself
This love of mine
Oh, it's getting stronger
Can't help myself
Can't wait much longer, yeah

Some Kinda Good Kinda (Hold On Me)
She's got some kinda good kinda hold on me
She's some kinda fine sho-nuff sweet
Wrapped up in her love is I wanna be
She's got some kinda good kinda hold on me
I can't get enough of my baby's huggin' and kissin'
I never knew a girl who could do what she's doing to me
With just one touch she cast a spell
I'm tangled up

My Kinda Life
Right from early days from the moment I was born
I would take my guitar in the early early mornin
And go down to the fields and play-ay-ay
Sittin down there in the long grass strummin
I could see the people from miles around comin
To hear me sing my music and play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days
Well we made it to the city just me and my guitar
That was where I found a freaky little bar
I sat there on the stage and play-ay-ayed
Well up came a guy who said it wasnt plastic
He wanted me to sing away my life or something drastic
But all I wanna do is play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days
Well fame and fortune Ive let them pass me by
No one in the country could say I didnt try
To turn the people and to play-ay-ay
You can keep all the money and the places that go with it
Cos all I want is freedom and no cash could ever get it
All I wanna do is play-ay-ay
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life my kinda life (yes and I like it)
Well thats been my kinda life yeah and I wouldnt spend it anywhere
Other than sittin down somewhere playin away my days

A Series of Tubes
That there Internet thingy
is like a series of tubes
All the smart fellas
in the hole world
got tagether and
they put smart stuff in them tubes
An now all ya gotta do
to larn stuff
is getcha self connected to that
Internet thingy
(You will need a computer for this)
(and some other stuff + electricty)
They you can pull stuff
up from them tubes
smart reading stuff
(if ya like that kinda thing)
or even important stuff
like how to knock down your old barn or shed
or even how to build a real bomb
(not for knocking down the barn though)
I know all this cause my congress man talked about it on TV
And George W. Bush says so two (I think cause he outta no)
The End (only the end of this poem)
If you like this poem a whole lot I think you should vote 9-10
(mostly 10 i hope)
If you like it some but not the very most maybe vote 6-8
(but you could still vote 9 or 10 to be nice)
If you only think it is middlin they go head and vote 5
(cause that's in the middle of 1-10)
If you kinda don't care for it you could vote it a 2,3, or 4
(that would be kinda low though)
If you hate this poem then you are left with only a 1
(there are no zero votes)
(But I think a 1 vote is not called for unless you are pretty mean though the last time I looked this was still a free country so you can vote 1 if that is how your mind runs)
Thanks for voting or not. (and tell your friends if you liked this poem)
probably don't tell them if you did not vote more than a 5

Reality Sucks
O.k. maybe you know it better
Oh oh reality sucks
Nobody helps you to make it feel better
Oh oh reality sucks
And youre a dropout that stays away
Might be that evil took over
Oh oh reality sucks
Youre getting to old now
To cause a stampede
Oh oh reality sucks
So youre boozing your life away
Youre blown your brain away
Reality sucks
Oho reality sucks
Now you see your life has passed you by
Oh oh reality sucks
You took a shortcut
Through the junkyard of life
Maybe thats why reality sucks
Now youre boozing your life away
Blowing your head away
But dreams didnt make your day
cause reality sucks
Oh oh reality sucks
Reality sucks

All Screwed Up
You think your kinda tough
You're walkin' kinda rough
When you want any more
You go fast wo' wo' wo'
Things go tough
And you strut your stuff
And I want your thing
Then you're out of luck
Yes you are
It's all screwed up
All screwed up
It's all screwed up
All screwed up
Take you out to kick some butt
Work you over screw you nuts
And when you can't take no more
Then she push you out that door
Things go hard
Like a dog gone mad
She can pack some punch
Then you're out to lunch

Modern Dancing
Modern, modern, modern, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern
I see you acting modernly with the boys and girls
Exposure breeds discovery in the modern world
The 60's hairdos 90's eyes are just flashing lights
A touch of neon hinting class for the modern night
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern
Mono vision tv face and determined eyes
The clothes are perfect the rips in place just the perfect size
Familiarity breeds contempt but it doesn't show
We've heard the music times before but it still makes you go
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, dancing
....variations to fade....

Kinda Fonda Wanda
Well, I went with mary lou
Tried peggy sue
Had a date with donna
And barbara ann too
But Im kinda fonda wanda.
Kinda fonda wanda.
Yeah, Im kinda fonda wanda.
cause wanda always wanna, wanna, wanna.
Well, I went out with jenny
Took out skinny minnie
Long tall sally
And short fat fanny.
But Im kinda fonda wanda.
Kinda fonda wanda.
Yeah, Im kinda fonda wanda.
cause wanda always wanna, wanna, wanna.
Did the bop with miss ann
The swim with mary ann,
The stroll with betty lou
Screwed runaround sue
But she wasnt as good as wanda,
No, shell never be as good as wanda.
Im kinda fonda wanda.
cause wanda always wanna, wanna, wanna.
Wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna.
Kinda fonda wanda.
Kinda fonda wanda.

70s Love Groove
Hey baby
Just let me do all the work
Wait, let me put this record on
Tonight youre all mine
Chorus:
Afros, incense, and black lights
Love beads, mood rings, and candle light
Zodiac says the time is right
For a 70s love groove
Do you like my body?
Ive got on what you like
Take your time, weve got all night
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Wait, be a good boy and put this on
You know you want me
Tell me, tell me you want me
I want you to tell me what to do
Tell me
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Anything, anything baby
Ill take you places youve never been before
Touch me here, now touch me there
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Sensual... just waiting her for you baby
Let me take it out... I love it when you...
70s kinda love... 70s kinda love...
Repeat chorus
Your smooth and shiny
Feels so good against my lips
I want you so bad
I can taste your love right now
Youve got me so wet
I want you inside me

Radio Song
Hey, I cant find nothing on the radio
Yo! turn to that station
The world is collapsing
Around our ears
I turned up the radio
But I cant hear it
When I got to the house
And I called you out
I could tell that you had been crying, crying
Its that same sing song on the radio
It makes me sad
I meant to turn it off
To say goodbye
To leave in quiet
That radio song
Hey hey hey
Ive everything to show
Ive everything to hide
Look into my eyes
Listen
When I got to the show
Yo ho ho
I could tell that you had been crying, crying
Its that same sing song, and the dj sucks
It makes me sad
I tried to turn it off
To say goodbye my love
That radio song
Hey hey hey
The world is collapsing
Around our ears
I turned up the radio
But I cant hear it
Yeah
I tried to sing along
But damn that radio song
Hey hey hey
Ive everything to show
Ive everything to hide
Look into my eyes listen to the radio
I turned up the radio
But I cant hear it
No, I cant hear it
Hey hey hey
Check it out
What are you saying
What are you playing
Who are you obeying
Day out day in?
Baby baby baby
That stuff is driving me crazy
Djs communicate to the masses
Sex and violent classes
Now our children grow up prisoners
All their lives radio listeners

Turn It Up
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
My signal's gettin' kinda weak
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
I know U got 2 be a freak, ooh
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
I'm still waiting by the knob
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
I'm ready 4 the heavy stuff, oh yeah
CHORUS:
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Come and play with my controls
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Work me like a radio (oh, oh)
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Work it 'til I start 2 groove, ooh
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
I know U know what 2 do (Girl, U know what 2 do)
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Work it 'til my clothes are wet
Turn it up, turn it up
I wanna drown in your body's sweat! (Oh yeah)
CHORUS
Now turn it up!
Come here
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Give me everything U got
Turn it up, turn it up, baby

Are U gonna do it or are U gonna leave it up 2 me?
Are U gonna stop? Are U gonna drop?
Kiss me, kiss me! Yeah!
Turn it up, turn it up, baby
Come and play with my controls (oh)

Kinda I Want To
I cant shake this feeling from my head.
Theres a devil sleeping in my bed.
Hes watching you from across the way.
I cannot make this feeling go away
I know its not the right thing.
And I know its not the good think.
But kinda I want to
Im not sure of what I should do.
When everything Im think of is you.
All of my excuses turn to lies.
Maybe God will cover up his eyes
I know its not the right thing.
And I know its not the good think.
But kinda I want to
Maybe just for tonight.
We can pretend its alright.
Whats the price I pay.
I dont care what they say.
I want to.
I want to (Ill take my chance tonight)

School and teachers
You go to school
everyday
just to be told
you can't do it that way
you have to do it my way
it is in the rules
and you think
school isn't cool
teachers think they're all that
and that they can control us
but sometimes I wish my teachers
would get hit by a bus
I know that sounds mean
but I haven't even said
that school everyday
I always dread
It feels like a prison
with no escape
why oh why
am I bound to this fate?
Of course we have to go to school
we have to all week
but couldn't school be more fun
instead of really starting to reek!
But we have to go through it
all 12 grades
and we have to go to college
what a bad day!
The days drag on
they never end
until the bells rings
and I run as fast as I can
It's almost christmas break
and I can't wait
because more days at school
I just can't take.
School sucks
and I think it is bad
and even though we are tortured
it isn't all bad
I guess what i'm trying to say is
school can sometimes be good
and you learn stuff
and that's is sorta good
so school is boring
and is not really fun
but we will get through it
and then for joy we will jump

It Works
He rattles his glass
She jumps up fast
And pours him a glass a tea
Deep in her heart she believes
Thats the way it should be
Yeah, now Ive seen my dad get fightin mad
Over on little four letter word
Hell tell you fast you dont talk like that around her
We may not see it the way they seee it
We may not do the way they do it
But she lives her life for him
And he gladly die for her
And even in this modern age it works
Though hes been down on his back
He still jumps out of that sack every morning at 5 am
Havin her home with the kids has been worth it to him
And she takes pride in being his wife
And making thier house a home
Sometimes she wishes the world would just leave them alone
We may not see it the way they seee it
We may not do the way they do it
But she lives her life for him
And he gladly die for her
And even in this modern age it works
If the good Lords willing
There will come a day
When our children will say
We may not see it the way they seee it
We may not do the way they do it
But she lives her life for him
And he gladly die for her
And even in this modern age it works
And even in this modern age it works

Dig Me Out (live)
They wanted me
To be the dream
But my mood went south
And I'm stuck on the couch in bad jeans
And the couch sucks me down to the floor
And the floor sucks me down to the earth
And I'm covered and buried before
My heart had a chance to start working
Hey, It's heavy underground
I'm screaming for attention
So come dig me out
And I say
Hey somebody can you hear me now
'Cause my world is caving in
So come dig me out
come dig me out
come dig me out
It's rainning again
And who'd have guessed
No one's come along to tell me that I'm a mess
And the bed sucks me down through the floor
And the floor sucks me down through the earth
And I'm covered and buried before
My head had a chance to stop hurting
Hey, It's heavy underground
I'm screaming for attention
So come dig me out
And I say
Hey somebody can you hear me now
'Cause my world is caving in
So come dig me out
come dig me out
come dig me out
I never thought I could fall ten feet under
I always thought someone would remember
To look for me
Before I reach the end
Hey somebody can you hear me now
'Cause my world is caving in
So come dig me out
come dig me out

What Good Am I?
What good am I if Im like all the rest
If I just turn away when I see how youre dressed
If I shut myself off so I cant hear you cry
What good am i
What good am I if I know and dont do
If I see and dont say, if I look right through you
If I turn a deaf ear to the thunder in the sky
What good am i
What good am I while you softly weep
And I hear in my head what you say in your sleep
And I freeze in the moment like the rest who dont try
What good am i
What good am I then to others and me
If Ive had every chance and yet still fail to see
If my hands are tied, must I not wonder within
Who tied them and why, and where must I have been
What good am I if I say foolish things
And I laugh in the face of what sorrow brings
And I just turn my back when you silently die
What good am i
