Freedom does not come without a price. We may sometimes take for granted the many liberties we enjoy in America, but they have all been earned through the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many of the members of our armed forces.

America's fighting men and women sacrifice much to ensure that our great nation stays free. We owe a debt of gratitude to the soldiers that have paid the ultimate price for this cause, as well as for those who are blessed enough to return from the battlefield unscathed.

A completely red
The soil has turned completely red
It has so much anguish and pain to be read
How much more sacrifice and bloodshed?
What more you want us to be fed?
Is it not enough we have longed for?
Is the freedom totally uncalled for?
Are we not worthy creatures to ask for it?
Don’t you think we have all the rights for light?
Our children are dying each day?
There is no solution in sight or reasonable way
How much more bloodshed or price to pay?
Why world leaders have no hope for the bright ray?
We shall bleed to last drop
No amount of suppression can make us to stop
We are used to and likely to face repressive measures
The path may not be open but some way it assures
The almighty may pardon us for our slavery
We have fought it with exceptional bravery
How many of us were crushed under the feet of cavalry?
The humanity has never witnessed such orgy and rivalry
How much more we have to undergo such misery?
Why can’t they take decision and form advisory?
What will be ultimate price for its realization?
Is it not the shame or blot on civilization?
Our forefathers and almighty may question our wisdom?
What sacrifice and price we have paid for freedom?
Who were all responsible for our miserable plight?
No power on earth can take away our liberty with all their might
We may not live to see the bright sun shine
If we can, it may still be praise worthy and fine
Let the cause for freedom not suffer under suppression
There may certainly be the end for repression

The Sacrifice They Made
While you are in the midst of revelry,
Take pause, to pay tribute to the bravery
And honor possessed, by those, for whom this day is set aside;
Do this not out of coerced obligation, but out of pride,
In the knowledge that it is the sacrifice they made
That allows you to lay the plans you have laid-
For cookouts, pool parties, and gatherings with friends;
It is people like them today, whose courage defends
The liberties we have, which most take for granted.
Men and women of honor, who ensure we still reap the freedom He planted-
His gift for His children, where allegiance is assumed,
Where defense of same ensures its presence is never presumed.
I implore you, each and all, remember always the sacrifice they made,
So that we may live a life of freedom, ever-obliged, yet unafraid!

War + Lives - add Love = Freedom
A nation born from war, for the “purpose” of establishing freedom
A nation divided in war, in an “attempt” to fulfill the goal of freedom
A nation engaged in world wars, in the task of “preserving” freedom
A nation policing the world, in the “pursuit” of freedom
So many young lives have been lost, for the “cause” of freedom
Let us remember those who paid the “ultimate price, ” for freedom
And dear God, please tell us! - “What! ” - is freedom?
“Life is to be lived, not controlled, and humanity is won by continuing
To play in face of certain defeat.” Ralph Ellison
'We need not war'
We need not war, to show us how freedom is made
What we need is love to show us how freedom is played.
For freedom is not - but to “do as we please”
But rather to “please others” - because of what we achieve
“To serve requires love, only with love to we attain freedom”

I Paid The Price
See notes below
Well Im sick and tired
Of your alibis,
And your indiscreet lies
Just wont get you by,
Over and over and over and over again.
And your family,
Your forced superiority,
Your azure delusions of grandeur,
Are gonna cut you free,
Over and over and over and over again.
Youre as cold as ice.
Ahh, youre not miss nice,
And I paid the price.
Ahh, you can count me out.
Oh, without a doubt,
I paid the price.
And up and down, round, round you go,
But you know one monkey
Dont stop no show.
Its plain to see
Youre in need of help,
But I just cant go on
And whip myself
Over and over and over, over again.
Ahh, you can count me out.
Ahh, without a doubt,
You know, I paid the price.
Ahh, youre not miss nice.
Youre as cold as ice,
And I paid the price.
Yes I did.
You know I did.
And I just wanna know
Whos your sponsor.
I just wanna know, oh,
I just a-wanna know, oh,
I just a-wanna know, oh,
Whos your angel.
{backup singers} [i paid the price.]
Sing the song.
[i paid the price.]
[i paid the price.]
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your sponsor.
[i paid the price.]
And be good to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Hey, hey!!
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
And dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Dont discriminate your sponsor.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Bow down to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
Uhh, be good!
[i paid the price.]
Be good to your angel.
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it. (? ? )
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it (? ? ), one more time.
[i paid the price.]
I tried for to blow it (? ? ), one more time.
[i paid the price.]
If you blow it one more time, I say,
[i paid the price.]
Oh, youre as
Cold as ice,
And youre not miss nice,
And Ive definitely
Paid the price.

Remembered
A nation born from war, for the “purpose” of establishing freedom
A nation divided in war, in an “attempt” to fulfill the goal of freedom

A nation policing the world, in the “pursuit” of freedom

We need not war, to show us how freedom is made
What we need is love to show us how freedom is played.
For freedom is not - but to “do as we please”
But rather, to “please others, ” because of what we achieve.
No such thing!
There is no such passion as hate, - only - a mental state
Of ignorance
For what we fail to understand, from our source of knowledge
We choose the accepted norm of utter indifference
Therefore, our feelings of love, we profoundly fear to acknowledge
“Freedom” is to serve
“To serve requires love; only with love, do we obtain freedom”

Thank The Men and Women
I’m thankful for the freedom
I enjoy each and every day
I’m thankful for the freedom
That lets me go my own way
I’m thankful for the freedom
To pray as I please
I’m thankful for the freedom
To satisfy all my own needs
I’m thankful for the liberties
My freedom has given me
I’m thankful for the red, white and blue
That flies to let me know I’m free
I’m thankful for the voice I have
When I want to disagree
Knowing I can speak out
And my freedom stays with me
But most of all I’m thankful for
The men and women who all fight
They give me all the freedoms
That makes my life so nice

Freedom's Theme
What is the theme of freedom?
Life,
Love,
Happiness,
Contentment.
Is this so?
Can freedom be these,
Our best,
The good things in life?
Or is freedom more?
Is freedom the blood with which it is bought?
Is freedom the evils which our men have suffered
To bring it to us?
Freedom's theme,
Sung through the ages,
Is sacrifice,
And pain,
For happiness dearly bought.
Freedom's theme
Is a hymn of praise
To the God who smiled on us,
And gave us America.
Freedom's theme
Is life, earned by death.
It is love, in power,
Spurned by the hate of the centuries.
It is contentment, with the shouts of thanksgiving,
For all God has blessed us with.
Freedom's theme-
Praise, joy, love,
Should be the song on our tongues always:
Thanksgiving to God for this privilege,
Dearly bought.

What Price
What price peace n' freedom?
How much will we endure?
To keep from losing forever
what others suffered for.
Ask first the loved ones
of warriors who went away.
The price they paid as well.
Fearing death's visit day by day.
Consider then those brave ones.
Who without question stepped forward.
Defied and defeated evil's challenge.
Peace n' freedom their only reward.
What price peace n' freedom?
Does the yield equal the demand?
Are we willing to pay the fare.
To keep oppression from our land?
Let us remember well
when these ideals we abuse.
If we are not prepared to pay.
These treasures we shall lose.

Freedom
Freedom is something
we take at times for granted,
it is only when we have lost it
do we see how precious it is.
Walking down the street
feeling free as can be,
but suppose we could not do that.
How would we feel?
If our voice was choked
by oppression.
What then?
Never take for granted
the things we enjoy the most.
The freedom to live
the way we choose,
for one day in the future
we could lose it
unless we are careful
in the things we do.

At Just The Right Time
My friend, at just the right time, God showed a love you can’t deny.
He paid to men the ultimate price, by sending His Son as a sacrifice.
A sacrifice for all the world to see upon the hill known as Calvary.
There Christ died upon a cross for both the righteous and the lost.
However, the righteous could not see that He came to set them free.
Freed from the curse of sin, and this freedom is only found in Him.
He became a curse for you and me, for cursed is anyone upon a tree.
But the righteous would have no part, for they had a hardened heart.
No greater love to commend than one who gives his life for a friend.
One may die for a friend in need, but, who would die for an enemy?
And that’s what His love did show, as Christ died for friend and foe.
He came down from Heaven above to save the unrighteous with His Love.
The world was so loved by The Lord that wrath upon Christ was poured.
The wicked cross by Christ was endured to reconcile man to The Lord.
Payment for sin was paid in full, so with Christ we could eternally rule.
A place in The Kingdom you will receive if you trust God and believe.
Believe and you won’t perish, just embrace the cross that we cherish.
If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that He was restored,
Restored to life from the grave, and my friend, you shall be saved.
And through The Lord Jesus Christ, you shall have Everlasting Life.
