A completely red
The soil has turned completely red
It has so much anguish and pain to be read
How much more sacrifice and bloodshed?
What more you want us to be fed?
Is it not enough we have longed for?
Is the freedom totally uncalled for?
Are we not worthy creatures to ask for it?
Don’t you think we have all the rights for light?
Our children are dying each day?
There is no solution in sight or reasonable way
How much more bloodshed or price to pay?
Why world leaders have no hope for the bright ray?
We shall bleed to last drop
No amount of suppression can make us to stop
We are used to and likely to face repressive measures
The path may not be open but some way it assures
The almighty may pardon us for our slavery
We have fought it with exceptional bravery
How many of us were crushed under the feet of cavalry?
The humanity has never witnessed such orgy and rivalry
How much more we have to undergo such misery?
Why can’t they take decision and form advisory?
What will be ultimate price for its realization?
Is it not the shame or blot on civilization?
Our forefathers and almighty may question our wisdom?
What sacrifice and price we have paid for freedom?
Who were all responsible for our miserable plight?
No power on earth can take away our liberty with all their might
We may not live to see the bright sun shine
If we can, it may still be praise worthy and fine
Let the cause for freedom not suffer under suppression
There may certainly be the end for repression

War + Lives - add Love = Freedom
A nation born from war, for the “purpose” of establishing freedom
A nation divided in war, in an “attempt” to fulfill the goal of freedom
A nation engaged in world wars, in the task of “preserving” freedom
A nation policing the world, in the “pursuit” of freedom
So many young lives have been lost, for the “cause” of freedom
Let us remember those who paid the “ultimate price, ” for freedom
And dear God, please tell us! - “What! ” - is freedom?
“Life is to be lived, not controlled, and humanity is won by continuing
To play in face of certain defeat.” Ralph Ellison
'We need not war'
We need not war, to show us how freedom is made
What we need is love to show us how freedom is played.
For freedom is not - but to “do as we please”
But rather to “please others” - because of what we achieve
“To serve requires love, only with love to we attain freedom”

A freedom is not in a day
Freedom is not attained in single day
It has proved difficult and in tortuous way
How many precious lives are lost in process?
Do we have any words for criticism to face?
Whoever has laid down life may not go in waste
It requires sacrifice and untiring efforts to stand test
We may be able to core it out right or gain the freedom
If the path so chose is non-violence then it is really wisdom
No wars have been won with continued hostility and bloodshed
The revolution may be written as history of shame with no watershed
There may be holocaust and human misery to be swallowed later
The result may have been there but many may come to be known as traitor
Freedom fighters are termed as dacoits or law breakers
They will make enough propaganda for ready takers
It may help them for little times to come and regroup
This can be called as popular uprising and not as military coup
The mighty power has witness sudden downfall
They have bow under tremendous pressure and international call
They have fear of losing the out side support
No out side help can come through the busy ports
Freedom can be won through non-violence means too
It may minimize human loss and this is equally true
We have witnessed many prolonged and bloody revolutions
It has not helped to prove misery but only lead to power devolution
What even if freedom is gained in total sense?
Has that got any relevance in its presence?
Have we attained whatever was desired or expected from?
The truth is bitter but to be explained to whom?
Who will never accept our own theory of deception?
How we remained under subjugation from inception?
Why did we not rise in revolt and tried for solution?
Did we try for it honestly and went for its dissolution?
Will story be rewritten when brought facts in open?
If so when it will find the light of the day and reopen?
Who will shed the light and appreciate the sacrifice?
The fact will be forgotten when people occupy the office
It is hard won struggle and must be preserved at all cost
The power should be shared and utilized for the most
Who knows it may prove acid test for days to come?
Why not celebrate it with fun fare and welcome?
It is unforgettable that freedom has cost us so much
We can’t afford to loose it again in a manner as such
Who will pardon us if we fail to cherish and protect
It has to be defended at all costs in fact

If This Is What Freedom Is About
If this is what freedom is about who would wish to be free
When only of war dead we read and hear about and pictures of death we see
Mothers grieving for their dead children in Iraq their heartbreak with them will stay
Until the Reaper claim them though for them 'twill be a happy day.
Is this what freedom is about when some talk of liberty
For the suffering of others they cannot show empathy
They say to rid you of your tyrant some of your children had to die
But that's the price you pay for democracy so your freedom now enjoy.
If this is what freedom is about then tyranny sounds sweet
A young woman murdered by a suicide bomber bits of her scattered around the Street
For how many years must this go on how many more must die in this way
If this is what freedom is about the price is too much too pay.
Is this what freedom is about a young man without feet
And some even say he is lucky that the Reaper he did cheat
The victim of a roadside bomb now in his mother's care
Do not talk of freedom to the one who sits in his wheelchair.

Lost Freedom
For those who don’t already know
This poem is not going to glow and flow
It lost its freedom years ago
Guess who dictates how the current theme goes
Arise, Arise!
Freedom is nice
Yet freedom itself comes with a price
Hence the never-ending sacrifice
After years of people giving up lives
Assisting us with out struggle to survive
To end slavery, to gain independence & to acquire autonomy
We have become the latest kind of slave, a slave of technology
Our phone conversations are listened to
Yet there is no one you can sue
Technology is watching us from cameras & satellites
Taking away our precious privacy rights
Freedom of speech, to those I outreach
Does not exist, I teach
Say the wrong things and you will be impeached
So whilst we have taken
One step forward,
We have also taken
Two steps backwards
We the slaves of new technology
Why do we embrace this new ideology?
Everything about you
Can be accessed from a central database
Is this just the beginning of a new phase?
So Arise, Arise!
Freedom is nice
But the price of freedom itself
equals the withdrawal of freedom for some
Hence the never-ending sacrifice

What Price
What price peace n' freedom?
How much will we endure?
To keep from losing forever
what others suffered for.
Ask first the loved ones
of warriors who went away.
The price they paid as well.
Fearing death's visit day by day.
Consider then those brave ones.
Who without question stepped forward.
Defied and defeated evil's challenge.
Peace n' freedom their only reward.
What price peace n' freedom?
Does the yield equal the demand?
Are we willing to pay the fare.
To keep oppression from our land?
Let us remember well
when these ideals we abuse.
If we are not prepared to pay.
These treasures we shall lose.

Sincerely
If I had been You I would have left
Said there's nothing else that I can do
But You saw somethig deep inside of me
I had no idea but I was crying for you
Didn't have to make the sacrifice
Didn't have to come and save my life
Didn't have to pay the price for me
Sincerely I'm not worthy
Didn't have to give all that You gave
No way I could ever walk away
Here's the only thing that I can say
Yours truly thou art worthy
I can't believe You've chosen to reveal
Never ending mercy towards a heart that's been so faithless
The fact that You want to show Yourself to me
My knees grow weak can hardly speak
For your love has been relentless
Didn't have to make the sacrifice
Didn't have to come and save my life
Didn't have to pay the price for me
Sincerely I'm not worthy
Didn't have to give all that You gave
No way I could ever walk away
Here's the only thing that I can say
Yours truly thou art worthy
How can I repay You for the things that You've done for me
Dear God
I call to You
Make me more like You
My way to say thank You
Is do all that you say
Didn't have to make the sacrifice
Didn't have to come and save my life
Didn't have to pay the price for me
Sincerely I'm not worthy
Didn't have to give all that You gave
No wayI could everwalk away
Here's the only thing that I can say
Yours truly thou art worthy

Countless deaths
Free to feel and easy to live
O, god in your land and believe
That you are only one and alone
Let our mistakes and past be bye gone
We would love to suffer
Prayers and peace may always offer
Take us to safety and grant peace
Small land if you can give us please
It was with us and belonged
Our forefathers struggled and longed
Some documents faked and forged
We are driven away and refused
Can it be not the same again?
At what cost may be the gain?
Our children bath with blood
Shortage of everything even with food
We ask only freedom
That has been denied seldom
What can be way out with wisdom?
How many more graveyards may come up as doms?
"Here lay our future generation"
They never knew what can be sacred relationship
They suffered onslaught and lay dead
We may look at them and read
Holy wars are fought on countless deaths
There may be left no space for laying wreath
Yet that has to be attained with supreme sacrifice
Land may ask fulfillment of promise
Grant us O. lord your blessings and mercy
We can only pray you almighty
You are sole observer of the play
Show us the reasonable and honorable way
We may owe and remain indebted
Even though our course now is ill fated
Our sacrifice can't be equated
As it is blood soaked and down rated

On the Innate Drive For What is Right
As life bled, martyrdom flared its buds.
Repression, red from irritation,
Rendered chinks and cracks; but thuds of
Armament - in cowardice - accomplice of the
Dictatorial blight thro' countless years -
Wreaked its retribution:
Yet hope began to bloom a coloured carapace
Enshrining their allegiance ‘gainst the
Terror in their tears.
And on! Splits yawned - breaches in the junta:
Flesh fought fanatical minds -
Bullets welcomed into open hands
And blessed with yearnings for morality:
Chiselled man-toys of death and mutilation
Couldn't repel the might of freedom
Surging at the bright horizon.
Crepuscular rays of purpose, body,
Flooded pandemonium with
Overwhelming clarity, direction -
Burdened clouds drifting wayward as the
Light channelled out a vision,
Intensifying focus on tomorrow -
Deepen their stride
As they home in to
What is theirs,
Rightfully theirs!

Freedom does not come without a price. We may sometimes take for granted the many liberties we enjoy in America, but they have all been earned through the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many of the members of our armed forces.

Is Freedom Free? ? ?
America, Land of the Free',
We know the phrase like the back of our hands
We say it pridefully with our flag flying high,
As we sing to the tune with the marching bands
Yet is freedom really free?
Our ancestors had to fight the English,
They had to earn what we take for granted today
Blood was shed and tears were cried,
But there was no alternate way
So tell me is freedom really free?
The Confederates and the Union went head to head,
The Civil War tore America in two
The African Americans had to fight for their rights,
They had to pay the price to do what they wanted to do
Yet we still think Freedom is really free?
Women fought for their right to be equals,
They fought for their rights to work and vote
They stumbled upon a lot of road blocks,
But they never gave up their hope
And you think Freedom is really free?
Even today we are still fighting for our freedom,
Soldiers abroad are defending our rights
Protecting our people and our homeland,
And losing thier lives in the fights
And still you say Freedom is really free?
It's something we don't always think about,
It's something we all take with a grain of salt
But what if one day, you would wake up and it was all gone,
Who do you think would be at fault?
You see little by little they're drawing the strings,
Your privacy can be invaded
Telephones tapped and cameras in your home,
If ever you are suspected
They say in order to keep us safe and our freedom intact,
They have to take such drastic measures
But stop and think for one minute,
What is the purpose of all these pleasures?
If Freedom isn't really free?

Remembrance Sunday 2001
That war word, has been given meaning yet again,
As we meet in the shadow of the twin towers
Seeking to remember those who died
In what seems so long ago, freedom remains illusive.
Freedom from fear, freedom to speak, freedom to worship.
So on this day, we say our thanks, with gratitude
To the names etched here long ago.
Remember with pride the sacrifice they made for us
Remember to the young who fight today
To keep that flame of freedom lit
Throughout our world, for all people
Remember to that single sacrifice
On a hill outside Jerusalem,
The one who called the world to love
Whose words inspire today’s, humanity
To seek that which is the ultimate power
To love your neighbour as yourself
The greatest challenge of all.
To become powerless, in a world
That seeks for power by domination

For freedom is not - but to “do as we please”
But rather, to “please others, ” because of what we achieve.
No such thing!
There is no such passion as hate, - only - a mental state
Of ignorance
For what we fail to understand, from our source of knowledge
We choose the accepted norm of utter indifference
Therefore, our feelings of love, we profoundly fear to acknowledge
“Freedom” is to serve

Freed To Serve
Today I serve the King of kings, proclaiming the freedom He brings,
Freedom from the sin in your life, in a world where temptation is rife;
God sends The Spirit to dwell within, to guide us in this world of sin,
And through His Spirit, living inside, in Christ our Lord we can abide.
Through God’s work of Grace, I was bought from sin’s marketplace,
Paying for me redemption’s price, in full, through His Own Sacrifice;
Providing me New Life in Christ, and granted from God, Eternal Life,
God giving me what I don’t deserve, The Lord now, I gratefully serve.
Reasonable service, for you and me, for all that God did on Calvary,
When He allowed His Only Son to die, in the place of both you and I;
Now giving us Good News to herald, to this lost and darkened world,
Taking to each and every nation, The Good News of God’s Salvation.
Christ finished the redemptive part; God wants from us a willing heart,
To become The Lord’s living sacrifice; for our part, that is a tiny price;
Today wanting us to leave old ways, to live our lives for God’s Praise,
To leave old, sinful ways behind, as Christ renews our heart and mind.
No longer are we to be conformed, to this world, but, be transformed,
Into the very likeness of God’s Son, to be God’s witness to everyone,
Called to service, to be His Light, in a world where wrong seems right,
Faithfully serving the King of kings, while in our hearts, freedom rings.

Seek freedom
What does the sun of man want
What does mankind want
Under the sun
Is it to eat all the food
In the world and have fun
So that nobody gets nothing to feed
Or destroy the righteous and his seed
May be gather more riches
And be superior
So that others become
Poor and inferior
Or gather all the women
In the world by your side
Is this the ultimate pride
What fore does mankind want
Apart from being free and happy
You need freedom to live your destiny
So do i need freedom
Everybody needs freedom
The rich man needs freedom
So do the poor man also need freedom
The king needs freedom
So do his subjects needs freedom
The master needs freedom
So do the servant needs freedom
Freedom belongs to the old man
As well is the young man
the human society without freedom
Is an evildom
Freedom is love for one another
Freedom is the ultimate power

Atomic War
War!
The final ending to fights and control of others,
War!
Is war,
And comes with,
Such grave situations,
Of:
Victims first,
That brings in armed forces,
To defend and free,
Those,
That are oppressed and held down,
In suppression to others of nations,
Or,
Controller of peoples,
For:
Wanting their resources,
For their own nations,
Wants and needs,
And power and greed.
For,
Freedom comes with a price,
When freedom is denied or taken,
From people,
Of deprived nations,
Where no freedom reigns,
For,
Fighting for freedom,
Causes,
So much death,
And leaves places in ruins,
Fighting for freedom,
Comes with such a heavy price,
War!
War breaks out,
And soldiers,
Of,
Hired guns become,
Guards of borders,
And,
Settlers of issues,
To protect and guard,
The people,
The places of war,
War!
Caused by,
The disputes of control,
While,
Up in the skies,
The skies so far above,
Where,
Planes and jet fighters.
Have,
Atomic control,
And when ordered,
It is activated,
Activated by nuclear waves,
Of radio transmissions,
Sent to set frequency controlled,
Activated by nuclear waves,
Of nuclear fusion,
Of man made nuclear,
With,
Mercury and patens,
Designed to,
Activate the nuclear physics,
Of,
Atom bombs,
Atomic War!
War!
Nowadays,
Atomic war,
Is,
The final frontier of ending what cannot be stop.
Supremacy on peoples,
When one kind wants to be just,
That kind,
And forcing assilimation,
On other nations,
So,
All look like,
And be like,
What they are,
And from,
So,
Those that cry freedom,
In their right,
For,
Freedom in choice,
Must leave,
Or,
Be destroyed,
In their own homeland,
By,
Genocides!
That,
Cause,
War!
Everywhere,
You look these days,
And everywhere,
You read of past history,
There is a truth,
In all the nations,
That just want,
What they want,
Regardless,
Of the other nations,
Just like in,
World War 2,
Which,
Brought about,
That first bang,
Of that,
First,
Atomic bomb,
The one launched,
That,
Hit Japan, ,
By,
The push of a button,
So many still remember,
The ending of,
World War 2,
Now,
Today,
Its what it is all about,
Nuclear war,
And so many that say it,
War!
War!
War!
Now,
Take a look at the world today,
Even,
Our waters and nature is disturbed,
Just like us all,
In races,
Of nations,
And,
Civilisations,
Today in Science,
They are all told,
To get more nuclear!
More nuclear in physics,
For war pays,
And the spoils of war?
Is another nations gain,
So,
In the results,
The People,
The Places,
The Planet,
All suffer,
Where,
Soon,
All will know,
Not to say this,
Or not to say that,
For leaders of nations,
Have proven to us lately,
That all that is said,
And all that is done,
Cannot be unsaid,
Cannot be undone,
However,
It is what is causing,
War!
War all over the power seeking world.

A Saga Of Freedom Complete
How is freedom conceived?
How is freedom won?
Freedom
is won
by common
people
with sudden
instantaneous
veneration
sacred sacrifice
uncommon
courage
uncommon
passion
hero lineage.
What is the nature of moments of heroic conception?
How is freedom born?
Freedom costs
paid for in birth blood
courage labour fear
a confusing scary tale
a violent revolution time
for many caught within
conflict situations
surge tragic events.
Freedom is bright hope
dream of a better tomorrow
for ourselves our children.
What is freedom a liberation from?
Freedom is a liberation from greed.
Freedom is putting
the needs of many
before bean counting
profit
privileges
of a few
who can never
amass
enough wealth
or share prosperity
to enrich an entire
community,
city, nation
an entire world.
How can freedom stretch as an ideal to embrace all humanity?
Freedom is birthright stretching liberation.
Freedom
is stretching heart
stretching mind
giving
empowering
ordinary people
so that
they may
help others
and help
themselves
also.
How can freedom from fear anger revenge be attained?
Freedom liberation from emotional overload is attained in Holy Spirit.
Freedom from fear
anger revenge
freedom to hope
to love
to rebuild
to remain true
to self
to all humanity
against all odds
with faith
love of
humanity
raised up
as an ideal
to be aspired to.

Last Call
Caught in a strugle
With your back against the wall
You saw it coming and you all must heed the call
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The clock is ticking and it's moving fast
Can we move on or are we victims of the past
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Racism flourished and it's stronger than before
People are fighting in another local war
Your time is short and you must decide
The path of action either live or die
The hate must stop and the war must cease
To make this world a place to live we must have peace
What a sacrifice - who will pay the price?
Think before you act...
Before it's too late...

He is dead
He was pronounced dead
The anxieties and bitterness on face could be read
It was assumed he might have been starved of bread
It is regular scene witnessed now days
So many welfare measure are taken to find reasonable ways
It is not showing any fruitful result and solution is staying away
It is miserable to live on without dignity
There may be reason to some kind mercy as humanity
It is curse and should not be faced by majority of poor people
Some honorable ways are to be found to make them capable
If some means are created to have mechanism to counter the menace
The work force can be of immense value to increase the finance
The stability and prosperity can be envisaged with proper augmentation of human skill
No one may be dying of hunger, illness, poverty and can manage to live on still
This is not just idealism but reality and can be exercised in anticipation as drill
As we have every right to live on earth without bondage or freedom of will
No one can be pushed to brink of disaster or given the freedom to kill
It may be considered as balanced view if welfare measures are adopted as principle
When it is professed as free society to be lived by all as followers or disciples
The poverty will not be eliminated over night or brought to zero level
Some of the steps taken earnestly with the good intent may speak well
Not s single should suffer only for the reason not being addressed to
There may be lots of hardship to pass through
We all are here as human being and stage actor
Still we are not inhuman and to see it as spectator
We may function as benevolent ruler and not as dictator
The human life gifted by almighty is precious one and not to be ignored
Every opportunity is to be taken into account, availed and explored
No efforts be let up or left with loose ends and missed too
The mission is to be considered very much noble and it is true
The helplessness and misery is human enemy
All game is being played for wealth and money
Still the curse can be reduced and enjoyed by many
If reasonable means may be afforded and used
The crime rate may come to an end or reduced
More enthusiasm and confidence may be induced

History has taught us over and over again that freedom is not free. When push comes to shove, the ultimate protectors of freedom and liberty are the brave men and women in our armed forces. Throughout our history, they've answered the call in bravery and sacrifice.
