I identify with this guy's frustration and inability to control his fury at moments. I even identify with the way that this guy covers up a lot with humour. So yeah, it's interesting.

We Identify...
it is in silence
that we identify
sounds as other than noise!
it is in bondage
that we identify freedom
as more than a dream.
it is in lonliness
that we identify love
as both the path and the journey.
it is in anger
that we identify forgiveness
as the release.
it is in despair
that we identify hope
as one foot after the other.
it is in death
that we identify life
and give it meaning!

I And Dentify
Love, Suffer, Patient, Kind
And never bow - jealousy
Earth, Selfish, No angry
No memory won't, separate my wicked ways
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is.
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is
Gentle, Purified, Stay true, Protection
Always trusting, Continue hoping,
Conquer, never fail
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is.
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is
This is what love is
This is what love is!
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is.
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is.
Reach for the sky, Don't let it get away
I & Identify - This is what love is.
This is what love is.

Identify
Your eyes, they send me
to eternity
your heart may cast me down,
to hell
again
But lately its your love,
its condemnation enough
Identify
Please Identify
If its me you want,
standing by your side
Identify
these tears of mine,
Am I lonely?or am I just alive?
And what is time, to say
Who and why the test of love,
your hands were speaking "no"
I felt the movement go
the ice was breaking,
so
I wondeer why
that I'd
identify with you
my life
Leave me empty and see if I survive
For every questioned hour,
For every second devoured
You let me wonder you
into a myth
that I
missed
Identify
Please indetify
if its me you want,
standing by your side
Identify
These tears of mine
Am I lonely? or am I just alive?
Am I lonely? or am I just alive

I think that's what poetry does. It allows people to come together and identify with a common thing that is outside of themselves, but which they identify with from the interior.

I get a lot of mail from men who really identify with Stuart, you know, Sparrow's boyfriend. I love that. Even though I used to say I wanted men to read the strip even though there weren't any men in it, so they'd be forced to identify with the women.

To know by cast is not evil
The post you hold,
The background you possess,
And the past you earn,
You are proud
To identify yourself with.
What harm will you incur
If you identify with
The high caste that you are?

Butcher's transparent cellophane bags!
They play with innocent lives in their beautiful Wars!
At last what they bring us?
Cold bodies wrapped in cellophane bags.
As a relative of human beings
I asked from a five star Officer;
'Sir, why you wrapped their precious bodies
In your cheap bags? '
Then he groaned;
'For your convenience mad man
Don't you know that's easy to identify.'
And I want to say this..........
But I was scared of his heavy bugle
Loaded with massive bullets!
So I kept quiet.
That's why I could have mutter this for you as I am still alive?
'Sir we can identify them even you wrapped in aluminium foils
But the problem that we cannot identify you
With those brass stars studded uniform
That covers the fragrant Humanity? '

Experienced Recognition
Am I perfect?
No.
But I am faithful to a fault,
To my opinion given.
And I do my best,
To not give it unsolicited.
Since my loyalty may be misunderstood.
But perfect?
Even if I chose to be...
From where would I have received,
To achieve...
Such an example to express it?
And who could identify my perfection?
You?
And if you can do that,
You would know...
Perfect I am not!
Although being obnoxious...
I have learned that from those who are skilled.
Perhaps that is what you identify?
With an experienced recognition!
That applies to your own comprehension.
And 'that' is the familiarity,
In me you see you'd like to mention.

The chief task in life is simply this: to identify and separate matters so that I can say clearly to myself with are externals, not under my control, and which have to do with the choice I actually control. Where then do I look for good and evil? Not to uncontrollable externals, but within myself to the choices that are my own.
Sick Of Their Tricks
I've had it with demons and sick of their tricks.
I've witnessed their tactics...
To identify them quick.
My need to observe them with curiosity,
Has diminished my giving any attention.
With an unleashed disbelief.
I've had it with demons and sick of their tricks.
I've witnessed their tactics...
To identify them quick.
Donating my time to be further manipulated,
To have my focus by them castrated.
Has left them behind to tempt or bait my mind.
My need to observe them with curiosity,
Has diminished my giving any attention to them.
With an unleashing of disbelief.
To wonder in a pondering as they increase their misdeeds.
I've had it with demons and sick of their tricks.
I've witnessed their tactics...
To identify them quick.
Not even to pause to peep what they seek.

Me and my baby
We drank some magic tea
We're crusing down the rural roads
Aesthetics of poverty
I'm going down for the last time
I shifted to my level
Can you receive what you give me
Somebody should set you free
In the morning
When you wash your hair
I love those simple things that
Make me know your there
Come every sunday evening
It's leftovers from the weekenders
Lost limbs to identify
Frustration for the grieving

Help Them See It
Help them identify the source of their ignorance,
Dear Father.
Help them see it...
And not become overwhelmed by its magnitude.
Help them remove the disguises that hide their fears.
They have been duped big time.
And so fraudulent are their beliefs.
What was once an ideal...
Has been infested by the illness of greed manifested!
And this,
They can not see...
Has deluded them from any contact with reality!
Help them identify the source of their ignorance,
Dear Father.
Help them see it...
And not become overwhelmed by its magnitude.
Help them see it...
Before all of their visions cease!

Necessities To Please
People are trying to find ways
To identify themselves.
They try to find it through preferences of sex.
Even purchases of 'things'
To hide their perplexed minds
Behind something another might view,
As a status symbol to preview!
To allow excuses and alibis to sneak through.
Allegations of who is and who is not straight today...
Seems so unimportant and quite blasé!
Molestations are taking place,
In more sanctuaries sacred...
Where more than symbolism is displayed.
The bold and naked seems to be a must,
Folks are lusting.
People are trying to find ways
To identify themselves.
With a worship for more greed,
And necessities to please the eyes of others!

Eloquently Stated
You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Like honesty.
You are constantly in hide and seek mode.
So honesty you may wish exists.
But from you...
That does not show.
Devotion and loyalty?
The words I hear.
But those actions from you I disbelieve.
Unless they have been gift wrapped...
And you're presenting them now to me!
Trust?
I've seen that scrawled on the side a bus.
Were you on it?
And your wave escaped my attention?
You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Not with you.
But then again...
You always fantasized yourself a magician.
And I do have a wish you can fulfill.
You can snap your fingers and disappear.
Leaving us both to keep that secret to ourselves.
How is that for accomodating both of our desires?
As you have so eloquently stated!

Early Works - In Friendship
To Maurice Callard
The days were marked with frustration
each getting more than the last.
A friend with a proposition
an opportunity that might last.
Along dark corridors to an almost empty room
a light for ambition awaiting there,
a mere mortal with friendly words.
The days seem shorter than before
the frustration begins to decline.
A thought rears from the subconscious
is spurred on to a climax.
A year of tension
and seemingly impossible task,
but its ending is enjoyment.
Years pass almost unnoticed
the light is now a friend
someone whom I think highly
who’s prompting never ends.
Someone to identify with
whom my reward is regarded as friendship.
I ask no higher accolade
from him or any other.
For friendship is a bond
for which my life has purpose.
