A great thing about these trees is that they are excellent for cleaning, both groundwater, and of course, air.

Men Cleaning Women Cannot Abide

My wife said she was going out to shop,
I knew she'd be gone for hours,
So I cleaned the house from bottom to top,
Then went out and bought her some flowers.

On arriving home she asked what's that smell,
I boasted I had just cleaned the house,
With what she said it's like something from Hell,
It stinks like a hundred dead grouse.

By doing the cleaning I thought you'd be flattered,
She said exactly what have you cleaned,
That really left my giant ego shattered,
How dare she leave me feeling demeaned?

The house is filthy what did you use,
I replied the same stuff as you,
She said it's my intelligence you're trying to abuse,
I'll now have to start cleaning anew.

What have you done to my kitchen floor?
You've got it full of stellar streaks,
The worktops are scratched like an old barn door,
My mop bucket's now full of leaks.

The toilet is filthy I said no it's not,
She said look at the state of the pan,
You've left enough stains to play dot to dot,
As for cleaning you're now on a ban.

She'll be so impressed she'll be singing,
That's what I honestly thought,
Now she's saying I've got the house minging,
Remember good cleaners cannot be bought.

I walked away totally deluded and sad,
It's moan if we don't then moan if we do,
If they had a self- cleaning house they'd still go mad,
I'm going down to the pub for a brew.

The moral of my story affects far more than me,
It's a problem that is truly worldwide,
It's a sexist thing I'm sure all males would agree,

‘' Men Cleaning, Women Cannot Abide ‘'

‘' They think we do it deliberately''

Price of your services

For every thing we do, you pay
Even we pray, for that too, you pay
You do every thing, give every thing
But I have nothing mine, that I can pay
O God!

You become happy, if just we praise
You accept, merely attention we pay -
As cost of every thing that you give
Guarantee joy too and restful live
O God!

Your given things are captured by men
They command price, from wanting everyone,
For cleaning arteries take thousands dollars.
You clean souls too, for simply we remember
O God!

I'm painting, I'm painting again.
I'm painting, I'm painting again.
I'm cleaning, I'm cleaning again.
I'm cleaning, I'm cleaning my brain.
Pretty soon now, I will be bitter.
Pretty soon now, will be a quitter.
Pretty soon now, I will be bitter.
You can't see it 'til it's finished
I don't have to prove...that I am creative!
I dont' have to prove...that I am creative!
All my pictures are confused
And now I'm going to take me to you

Smelling For Decades

Don't you find it ironic,
That those who laughed...
At the efforts made by others,
Are today those very same people...
Who have flushed themselves down toilets.
And now complain and place the blame,
On the ones cleaning up the mess...
Those who laughed but now in tears,
Have created.

'I don't find that to be ironic.
I find that to be a wish! '

A wish?

'Yes.
Think about it.
If the only thing you knew and was taught,
Is to flush yourself down the toilet...
Wouldn't you be suspicious,
Of someone committed as if devoted...
To a cleaning up behind you?
And with a doing done to ignore your laughter?
Looking at it from their perspective...
I would think those choosing to do that as fools too! '

I hadn't thought of it like that!

'You should.
This atmosphere has been smelling for decades.
And those accustomed to it...
Well,
That stench is all they have known.'

That's Good Business

It's a manipulation thing.
Of course...
If you tell people they are fantastic.
And convince them they are great.
They will do anything to keep that fed!
Even if they have to pay someone,
To keep that in their heads.
It's the 'I'm okay BUT you are marvelous' approach
To good duping!
And an excellent salesman,
Will always feed the ego of a suspected client first!
That's good business.

Some try the 'you-are-not-as-good-as-you-think-you-are' approach,
On some people!
Believing this establishes some kind of connection.
Only to find themselves quickly dismissed.
Especially by those who have been around a few blocks!
It is best to know the demographics...
Before applying any marketing techniques!
Some are great.
And then again...
Some fizzle and flop right on the spot!

Eco-logical

'Trees need their alone time too' I read it just now
in a poem by Bob Hicok and just like that
the world expanded thoughtfully and gloriously
and I imagined the whole of nature
giving a great sigh of relief
like a dog does when it lies down for the night
and a great sigh goes from the tips of its paws
to its ears or of course it might be the other way around
and trees with that sigh get on with their nightly cleansing routine
and expel all the stuff that mankind has made them put up with
in the world that we 'share' ha ha
and then think about the poor trees in the park and the streets
who've been passive smokers all day not to mention
gas-guzzlers without the accompanying four wheels
to enable them to getoutahere into the countryside for the weekend
to **** that up too yes I'm sorry trees although I must say
you do a good job of it and with silent patience
and don't write complaining to the newpapers in a mass protest
which is just as well as those papers need more trees
so I was just almost feeling complacent that Nature
seems to be well just about keeping the whole thing
on the rails until I looked up at the tops of the tallest trees
and saw the tops dying off
and wanted right then to know if prayer would help
because what else will

and thank you Bob and I guess poetry too
for half a line that brought me to the world
and a laugh then tears.

Disgusting Trash

I am thrilled and feeling exuberant.
It's the new product line we are soon to market.
To capture the imaginations of old and young alike.
We have chosen certain key demographics,
For testing this weekend.

Our campaign blitz prepared for Disgusting Trash,
Is like none other we have attempted.
We are going to ensure our latest product,
Gains in both educational and entertainment fields.
Are there any questions?

'This is not a question, sir.
I have a statement that should add onto the excitement.
Our sales projections have exceeded expectations.
We have already over one million prepaid orders,
That has elevated Disgusting Trash,
To become the most sought after product EVER! '

Excellent.
Excellent!
That is great and excellent news.
And...
I have previewed the new videos for TV?
I was overwhelmed,
To see the most adorable preschool children...
Loving Disgusting Trash.
Ladies and gentlemen...
We have a hit on our hands.

Ode of Mother Mphizi

Oh, sons of Mphizi and daughters
Close to your mother you are
Mopping and cleaning your land
O' great ancenstral bath tab
Vomiting your basin of steam

Just a couple of miles from the tarmac
Going down the rocky strip of marks
Bear, ontop of the tree around
Only the journey smiles
O'great mother of summerland

You come from the spring head
so hot, slipping down the cold sea
Swash, swash and back swash
Malawi lake receives your hand
Oh, mother of the blessed land

Agentle warm bath from your nature
Underground is your root
And with this ready made bath
You prepare to yuor children, adesire
Oh, gread sons of mphizi and daughters
Sniff your mopping and cleaning on the land

Oh, great mother of hotsprings
Settled along time ago
To absorb birds in the garden
As sun rises, grows and die
Every day you bring happiness
In the inseperable china of mother Mphizi

The Tulip Bed

The May sun--whom
all things imitate--
that glues small leaves to
the wooden trees
shone from the sky
through bluegauze clouds
upon the ground.
Under the leafy trees
where the suburban streets
lay crossed,
with houses on each corner,
tangled shadows had begun
to join
the roadway and the lawns.
With excellent precision
the tulip bed
inside the iron fence
upreared its gaudy
yellow, white and red,
rimmed round with grass,
reposedly.

I am a great liar!

I shall never believe
that a liar can not tell
a lie or a gold smith tell
the truth, the thing rather
I shall believe that a liar is
an excellent word-smith,
though I am a great liar
but a lesser poet, what a
logic! Keep secret the
secrets, do not open the
box you can not tolerate,
in the name of truth people
engaged in trade to sell the
sugar coated words keeping
hate in the heart
