The Cleaning Operations
Ash cleans brass and acid, copper.
Trees clean air and the flow, water.
Menses cleans woman and sex, man.
Mind! Cleaning is not preventing.

The Fourth Stall
The serenity prayer and a Shakespeare sonnet
appear on the bathroom wall,
stalls heavily sodden with urine-
Who cleans these public restrooms anyway?
a Spanish lady named Maria,
all Spanish women bear this name-
She cleans them no doubt, so well
the bleach leaves stains.
I thought about leaving behind
a few words of my own, maybe
a hope psalm-
But ya know,
being in the presence of a memory
I'm seeing through a stranger's eyes,
has made me do something I never do....
I miss you

Trying To Reason With Hurricane Season
By: jimmy buffett
1974
Squalls out on the gulf stream
Big storms comin soon
I passed out in my hammock
And God I slept til way past noon
Stood up and tried to focus
I hoped I wouldnt have to look far
I knew I could use a bloody mary
So I stumbled next door to the bar
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on
Theres somethin about this sunday
Its a most peculiar gray
Strollin down the avenue thats known as a1a
Feelin tired, then I got inspired
I knew that it wouldnt last long
So all alone I walked back home
Sat on my beach and then I made up this song
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But then it cleans me out and then I can go on
Well the wind is blowin harder now
Fifty knots or thereabouts
Theres white caps on the ocean
And Im watchin for waterspouts
Its time to close the shutters
Its time to go inside
In a week Ill be in gay paris
Thats a mighty long airplane ride
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on
Coda:
Yes it cleans me out and then I can go on

A woman....
A woman laughs so she doesn't scream.
A woman cleans so she doesn't hit.
A woman crys so she doesn't leave.
A woman leaves so she doesn't get hurt.
A woman loves for all the right reasons.

As Old as Time
Water's a natural resource
That's as old as time.
Its echoing demand,
In every age has chimed.
Water is prolific,
It's used in many ways.
It cleans and purifies,
And replenishes for days.
Water is medicinal—
Promoting health and strength.
It even goes as far
As preserving life at length.
Water entertains
In many a way:
Boating, skiing, fishing,
Or musing by the bay.
Water is indispensable;
One cannot do without.
No water—no life;
And that, without a doubt.

A Village Grandpa and the kind Doctor
'Yes Papa what brought you here'
'I am sick with menses'
' I understand Hemorrhoids'
'No, Women get that kind'
'Certainly Men get menses'
Doctor pacified the old patient!

For An Ocean Park Maintenance
To all the maintenance people…
Around the world…
Who keep Aquarians clean…
You have a hard job…
Making what the public and kids see…
As a dream…
A water world of beauty from the…
Ocean and Sea’s to us the people…
So clean and fresh…
Who cleans’ up the swimming mess…?
Most of us don’t have a clue…
So I am tipping my hat off to you…
I wish to thank you for being there…
Thank you for your love and care…
And that we, the public have a place…
To visit deep down under the Ocean and Sea’s…
To a wonder of wonders of nature in her true form…
Swimming in the cold or the warm…
Thank you my dear maintenance people…
For being so ever true…
For without the likes of you….
Our other worlds would be blue…
Thank you…and God bless…

Candle
Lit by the hidden power of serving,
A sermon in wax-
Burning.is my only life goal
For it makes me brighter, more use worthy
And less slave to appearance.
I love best what lives in me
And burns cleans me as i flow,
Warm to touch, into
Formlessness to become
One again with my essence.

Water of life
Crystal drops falling from the sky
Bringing life to the dry
Growing plants reach for the sky as they start growing on high
It cures your thirst and cleans the dirt
Water does not choose who is rich or poor, hate or love
It comes from the heavens above sent to us from God with love…
Water in a glass, water in your bath, shower, water in the sea, water in a dam, water in a river and even water in a mother’s womb.
The realization that water is important becomes disrespected
Everyone goes on with everyday life while the water is being infected.
Water may bring life but it can also cut through cities and towns like a knife.
Tsunamis, floods it does not choose who to struck but when it comes you know your...
Take a moment and think to yourself
What water means to your health
Say thank you and stand up for what you believe in as this is one of the only sources of life that cannot be taken away.

First Water
The water had its beginning before time began
Before even the first born our God would call earthly man.
The creator knew the value and significance of water
Just as its second human creation we call an earthly daughter.
Man certainly does not live by bread alone
But along side the children who sleep at home.
Man can survive without food for a long, long time
But not for long without water nor drinking wine.
The universal one covered earth with two thirds water
Still not as miraculous as the gift of a daughter.
More bounty in the water than in the soil
How expressive is the holy one when we toil.
A green tree grows on coral with a great deal of salt
A desire of the eternal God who has no fault.
The creator separated the birds from the land and sea
Also for man and woman and their child to be.
Water cleans, heals and provides
Mother nature gives, replenishes and renews with each new tide.

The sidecar ride
The tyres kiss the tarmac
Pushing us forward
Past the trees and bushes
Past the men and women
Steal into a life
A man cleans his roof
Children go to Sunday prayers
All watching as we rush by
Be amazed as I go by
Something new, different
A motorbike but more
It's little baby setlles beside it

I Think You Know What I Mean
a young man sits inside his orange car
puts his legs above board
wipes his face, sweaty, cleans his nose
idly, looks around
in silence
he gazes upon a vacant road
there is no car
no people,
from where i am seated
i observe him
he is contented upon his idleness
i can't read his mind of course
whether there is sorrow
or bliss
beside his car is a wall
enclosing a garden of cassava and papaya trees
there is a guava tree
laden with its fruits
beyond us is the calm sea
plain blue as coconut trees tower
like guards
or lighthouses on an early morning
contemplation perhaps
about what to do next after this gentleness
this calm
will it be chaos? will it be too much noise?
can pandemonium be not far behind
the white chickens arrive and pecks upon some grains of rice
upon a bowl of clay lies the water that can satisfy thirst
you know what i mean
life is a variation of everything
full of color, wanting sound, longing for scents
expecting some happenings.

Carbon Sinks
I think that I shall never see
a better Carbon Sink than M.I.T.’s
It helps keep green house gas at bay
By sequestering it away
The Carbon Sink works like a tree
but does it more efficiently
When trees in wintertime are bare
The Carbon Sink still cleans the air
And trees can yield up carbon once again
When Forest fires make them burn
Poems are made by fools like me
But Carbon Sinks are made by M.I.T

Water Is Not Water
Just not wet anymore.
Won't work as a door stop.
Must have some water.
WATER-WATER-WATER-WATER
In the baby bottle, SMALL BOTTLE-ok.
Just thirsty.
Want some cold WATER? ?
We don't have any water.
CRY-CRY-CRY, tears are water.
BUT-there not wet NOW.
TEARS NOT WET - TEARS NOT WET.
ACID RAIN no pain.
ACID RAIN no pain.
ACID RAIN no pain.
DRIP rain drops - DRIP.
Clouds full of ACID RAIN.
CRY-CRY-CRY-CRY.
