I never wear mascara; I laugh until I cry too often.

Mascara
Let us pretend you are defending your eyes,
when inquisition rains bring skies twinkl'n downwards
in the night; putting faces aside, burning peripheries that
I can only remember in visions of nights back when
derelict busses hummed along and silent bums cried.
Torches are lit and raised like ether to the greys of daunting
shadows, led on by a pipers piquant fog,
Shells hanging from your diamond eyes on cut-up chain-gang roads;
with echos and clicks,
with sirens that laugh.
lighting lashes in its cul-de sacs,
rocky and spine-like.
Through it all I have your eyes defended by mascara
under this canopy umbrella sky your fires open wider.
With that erotic mascara melting away
and beneath it I hear you sigh.

This Is Me!
You can't judge a book by it's cover
So why can you judge a man by his looks?
It doesn't matter if he's Short or tall,
You have to look inside to know him
You can't give a label on a girl you don't know.
You can't tell a person how to live
You have to know there life story
Before you can tell them who there are
I wear tank tops and Skirts.
eye liner and Mascara
But did you know I like football?
I carry a purse, I straighten my hair
But did you know I like rock music?
It doesn't matter what I look like
I am me,
and you don't know who I am
Unless you talk to me
Did you know that the guy over there enjoys animals
and That girl is a cancer survivor?
Some people aren't given the chance to explain
But they have some much to give to the world
I wear tank tops and Skirts.
eye liner and Mascara
But did you know I like football?
I carry a purse, I straighten my hair
But did you know I like rock music?
It doesn't matter what I look like
I am me,
and you don't know who I am
Unless you talk to me
You can try to tell me that I don't belong,
You can call me any name in the book
But no matter what I'll know
That this is me
I wear tank tops and Skirts.
eye liner and Mascara
But did you know I like football?
I carry a purse, I straighten my hair
But did you know I like rock music?
It doesn't matter what I look like
I am me,
and you don't know who I am
Unless you talk to me

On My Feet They Are Most Comfortable
You may laugh at me.
And how the shoes I wear,
Seem to be more than broken in.
But on my feet they are most comfortable.
They've been with me through thick and thin.
Exchanging them now,
Is not a thought I want to entertain.
Nor do I choose new shoes to make an impression.
You would have no idea how I treasure them.
Or is it a conversation I would like to start.
Since what I would say would be difficult to end.
You may laugh at me.
And how the shoes I wear,
Seem to be more than broken in.
Laugh as much as you want.
But these shoes you see me in...
And will again and again.
Are closer to me than my dearest friends.

Sometimes There's Three
There’s two sides to every story
And sometimes there’s three
You can take a trip around the world
To simply cross the street
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
There's two paths on every journey
And sometimes there's three
You can meet your fate on the same road
You took to avoid it
I know, 'cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
And at the crossroads, don't turn and look away
Let it kiss you on the face
And then have a laugh
There’s two women in your life
And sometimes there’s three
You can make a wish upon a star
Only to find it land in your street
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
There’s two people fighting for your mind
And sometimes there’s three
Each mask you wear at different times
Till one fits comfortably
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me
Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh
And at the crossroads, don' turn and look away
Let it kiss you on the face
And then have a laugh

New Coat Of Paint
Words and music by tom waits
Lets put a new coat of paint
On this lonesome old town
Set em up, set em up well be knockin em down
You wear a dress babe, Ill wear a tie
Well laugh at that old bloodshot moon
In that burgundy sky
All our scribbled love dreams
Lost or thrown away
Never miss the shuffle on an overflowin day
When love needs a transfusion
Shoot it full of wine
Fishin for a good time
Starts with throwin in your line
Lets put a new coat of paint
On this lonesome old town
Set em up, set em up well be knockin em down
You wear a dress babe, Ill wear a tie
Well laugh at that old bloodshot moon
In that burgundy sky

I Wonder
I wonder what the Jacks have got to laugh and laugh about.
I'm sure the worms don't see the joke when Jacky digs them out.
I wonder which is best: a rich plum-pudding stuffed with plums,
Or lemon ice, or plain boiled rice, or long-division sums.
I wonder why I wear a tie. It is not warm to wear;
But if I left it off someone would say it was not there.
I wonder, if I took a whiff of father's pipe for fun,
Would I be big and strong like him, or just his small, sick son?
I wonder when our old white hen will know her squawk betrays her.
I think she lets us find her eggs 'ust so that we shall praise her.

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXII: Laugh
there's laugh, forced laugh
laugh, gentle rejection without word
laugh, looking sympathy with laugh
laugh but actually doesn't laugh
hiding anger, hiding pain
cheerful laugh but alone inside
why you try hard to impress people?
tired and wounded more
laughing your foolish joke
and crying life in the dark room
laugh for yourself
laugh with your heart
and you'll never regret to try an honest laugh

Thats Not Really Funny
Did you think that I would laugh when you said I was small
Did you think that that would pass as if nothing at all
You say a lot of funny things, my little bunny
And I almost always laugh, but thats not really funny
You play the little bells and tell a good story
You bake delicious pie and thats enough for me
But I dont think that Im your man, and youre my little honey
And I like what you have to say, but thats not really funny
You must not continue to wear my ? ? like me
The neighbour children threw the window to the sea
The little boy will wipe his nose bacause its runny
Then point at me and laugh, but thats not really funny

You Wear It So Well
All of those things
Yeah, that you got to give
Yeah, you wear it so well
Hey, you wear it so well
All of those stories
Honey, that i know you could tell
Yeah, you wear it so well
And your face hides it so we can't tell
That you knew we would wear it so well
You wear it so well
Yeah darling, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Yeah baby, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Yeah now baby, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Hey now darling now, yeah, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
All of those things
That make poets sing
You wear it so well
Yeah, you hide it so well
And all of those pain
That you used to tell
You hide it so well
Can't tell from your face that you knew it so well
Hey, now that you have such a story to tell
Yeah, you got style and grace and you wear it so well
You wear it so well
And you got, you got such a story to tell
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you wear it so well
Grace and style equals you so well
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you wear it so well, well, yeah, so well
Yeah, you wear it, wear it, wear it now, wear it now, baby
Yeah, now you wear it so well
And you got such a story to tell
(ooohhh, ooohhh, ooohhh)
(ooohhh, you wear it so well)
(you wear it so well)
(you wear it so well)

I feel sad right now, three small letters
Inconspicuous, three small letters in a row
But they seem to hold all my depth of feeling these past months
Over you, and what you do to me when you cannot see
I've tried hard, just like those three letters
To add more
But nothing changes
Add a ly, and I'll add a lie
But still it's only 'sadly'
Add mascara, and all you get is a stream
A stream of black watercolour tracing
Down my cheeks, over my chin
Wait awhile, let the sad wear out
Stretch a bit, stretch me a bit
And all you get is an end
I'm saddened
I want more than sad

Laugh Clown Laugh
Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,
make everyone laugh real hard.
Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.

Laugh
Love laughed at you and made you blue
Now heres what you should do
Well laugh, though your heart is breaking in two
Yeah laugh, dont let them know he hurt you
Well laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Laugh, though the one you love is really gone
Yeah laugh, even though youll be alone
Yeah laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Well let me hear you laugh now
Though its hard, so hard for you to do
Laugh with me, cos you see
Ive been there too
Well laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh and believe its not the end
Yeah laugh like a clown
Dont let your heart break down
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Love laughed, its true
But look at you
Now youre laughing too

One New Morning
One new morning
When I meet her.
We will go to a movie.
I'll say she is groovy.
She will laugh out loud.
We will hire a boat.
Put on a coat.
And take a picnic
Under pinkest cloud.
The sun will light her hair.
I'll kiss her then and there.
A new dream will be born.
Just like tomorrow's dawn.
Then
She will wear my ring on her finger.
And
I will wear my heart on my sleeve.
I'll pray each night
That our love will linger.
Yet
One new morning
She will leave.

I Wear A Smile
I wear a smile
that never reach my eyes.
I wear a smile
that feels misplaced.
I wear a smile
that is completely fake.
I wear a smile
to drown my sorrow.
I wear a smile
but i'm so numb.
One day this mask will break,
but then it will be too late.

The Clown’s Sorrow
Sorrow wrapping his face,
Sat a man in a park.
An old man got to him
And made a chat with him.
He suggested to him,
‘Go to the circus yonder
And watch the clown’s action.
You can forget your sorrow
And have a heart-full laugh’
‘I am the very clown’
Said the man in sorrow.
The one who makes others
Laugh can very well wear sorrow.

Ugly
Too much of it
Can make one sick.
Can make one overdose...
Until a medic is needed,
To remove it quick.
A beauty once discovered,
Can turn into something else...
To make one vomit.
But I don't only wish to see,
Beauty unbelieved.
I want to taste and lick it butt naked.
Sweating in heat increased by sex.
And staring into eyes with our faces...
With a molding of muscles,
Into unseen places.
Climaxing...
Feeling good.
Wet!
And looking quite ugly at it!
'Baby...
Next time,
No mascara.
Rouge or skin blenders.
You can keep the weave on...
But make sure it is secured.
When I pulled it off...
I thought I had killed you!
A decapitation.
Just be yourself.
You are too beautiful to wear a mask! '

I'm Down
You telling lies thinking i can't see
You don't cry 'cos you're laughing at me
I'm down (i'm really down)
I'm down (down on the ground)
I'm down (i'm really down)
How can you laugh when you know i'm down
(how can you laugh) when you know i'm down.
Man buys ring woman throws it away
Same damn thing happens everyday
I'm down (i'm really down)
I'm down (down on the ground)
I'm down (i'm really down)
How can you laugh when you know i'm down
(how can you laugh) when you know i'm down.
We're all alone and there's nobody else
You still moan: "keep your hands to yourself!"
I'm down (i'm really down)
I'm down (down on the ground)
I'm down (i'm really down)
How can you laugh when you know i'm down
(how can you laugh) when you know i'm down.
Don't you know that i'm down (i'm really down)
Don't you know that i'm down (i'm really down)
Down on the ground (i'm really down)
Don't you know that i'm down (i'm really down)
Down, down, down.
