Sonnet: Aligning With God

Let every suff’ring make me better Lord,
Let every problem closer to Thee bring;
Let every tussle keep to Thine accord;
Let every struggle make me love Thee, sing!

Let every strife, more purify my mind;
Let every passion give my heart relief;
Let every anguish, peace of mind sure find;
Let every labor lessen my heart’s grief.

Let every hurdle encourage my aim;
Let every hardship make my body strong;
Let every defeat add succor, not blame;
Let every challenge teach to avoid wrong.

Let every failure make me to Thee pray!
Let every success happen in thine way.

Love Sonnet 143 Have You Contrived, To Deprive Me Of Sleep

Have you contrived, to deprive me of sleep,
By way of smiles, and acts of sweet accord,
Making me toss in bed, for meanings, deep,
Sowing between my heart and mind, discord?
Have you, your ways conspired to scare my wits,
That when sleepless, I sleep to dream all day,
And in the night, daydreams, my soul commits,
Think, I'll fret, which I might, or that I may:
What's in your song, that got me so inspired,
Or, was it me, easily swayed by songs,
Which blinded me to what really transpired,
That now, my time to fantasy belongs?
........Meantime, I dream reality with you,
........And reality of dreams, coming true.

Early Summer

The year is full of the hot blue sky,
every spring flower has become fruit,
when the maturity of the summer appears
and gone is all the strife and pain.

There are joyful birds wherever I go,
giant oaks are decked in leaves in the lane
while the sun shines bright until the late afternoon
and gone is all the strife and pain.

When summer rain comes down fruitful,
days become illustrious,
while love shines on your face
and gone is all the strife and pain;

when God keeps my country in his palm,
when a time of neighbourly love unfolds,
when every thing that brings discord slowly disappears
and gone is all the strife and pain.

If you want to Die

oh! death where are you, where can I
found you, your cleverness naked my
looks, you deceive as if you lost, and
come where poison lashes my soul
you’re the victor that control my heart
in vain

dilute my heart and empty my spirit,
harness my wickedness and fight my
strength, you hold the key to make
me genuine, a stone that burn off fire,
close the door that open the mighty
force of my soul

light every corner that stand, inflame
the heart that broke and filter the
rainbow, where grace of love, enfold
the greatness of your command and
make everything will be done, in thy
Father magic wand

lives no doubt in your heart for the
soul that stand in hell goes not hot,
rain comes and it may flew, for in the
day of judgment only few, each life will
be at the stand waiting to understand
what the Lord has done.......if you
want to die.....God…. have
mercy in you

A Poet’s Love

My heart is one and only one:
A furnace full of love, my own;
Despite my giving it wholesome,
It grows and tries to more blossom!

My heart has grown in size some way;
O’er-filled with love, begins to sway;
My Maker kind did full it fill,
So that I could give love at will.

A poet loves Nature so well,
In which God does always much dwell;
Almighty God, He is my Friend;
I shall love Him until my end.

My heart is one- belongs to God;
I long to live in good accord;
As men are selfish to the core,
My heart to God, I owe much more.

The things all that we do on earth
Are mainly ones which give less mirth;
It seems that good men are a dearth;
I pray that heaven stays on earth!

Our life on earth is just a phase,
To keep our soul and save our face;
If you could lift your heart beyond,
You will hear well God’s call- command!

Our earthly feat is important;
With sins, our soul turns impotent;
My talent is God-giv’n a gift;
Nurture I must or go adrift.

A man cannot serve two masters;
And if he tries, he just falters;
Love God alone and love Him well,
And earthly life will turn out swell!

Accord

Accord
Step splintered walk through the sun
Who drew those feet like two lonely leaves
That never heard for each other
By a rootless tree
Who blew the wind
Into the sight of those
Black ashen eyes spreading over
The water that rests in a Sunday morn
Who tied that hair
And with which hands
Which fingers dragged
The ties into naught.

Accord
Like an accord of the distant music
Spreading horizons into merging hues
Splitting earth sky border
Who forgot
This thin line thinning even more
Up to the point of not ever being recognized
But still somehow breaking the heart
Once in accord
Reconciled?

~~~Why divide....? ? ? ? ~~~
Moon illuminates
World with silver rays
Make no division
Thatched roof or concrete roof tops
Rich or poor; strong or weak.
T ender breeze
Refreshes the earth
No divisions
Thatched huts or concrete palace
Sandy desert or rain forest
Soothing living being
No divisions!
Harmony of the wild
With trumpets of tuskers
Cuckoos; bells of deers
To the rhythm of
Gibbering monkeys & croaking frogs
Has no restrictions
Rich or poor
Strong or weak
Nature has no restriction; No divisions
Yet, human being’s towards divisions
Continue to divide, endless divisions
Colours, ethnicity, north or South
Developed- 3rd world
Even divide “God”
My god is not my rivals’
What a pity?
Trees produce oxygen
For all living being
We never breathe our own “oxygen”
Little realize I breathe what you exhale
Why we divide …
Why we hide …
The reality of life
Leaving the pride.
Alea Jacta
Dearest, I know thee wise and good,
Beloved by all the best;
With fancy like Ithuriel's spear,
A judgment proof 'gainst rage or fear,
Heart firm through many a stormy year,
And conscience calm in rest.
Why should I let my wayward feet
Cross the fair threshold of thy life?
My hopes and cares of little worth
Drag down thy heavenlier part to earth,
And, like strange discord marring mirth,
Fill thy sweet soul with strife?
But though such fears will cloud my brain,
Nay, though stern Time their truth should prove,
Yet none the less I bid thee take
My life into thine own, forsake
Thy high heart, bid it beat and break,
Like mine, but, like mine, love!
A Thanksgiving Prayer to God
Almighty God, to Thee I pray,
And thank Thee for all things this day,
I had received in ample way;
Let glory be to Thee, Aye! Aye!
I am a human being mere;
I sin often and always err;
Forgive me Lord, my God, I plead,
A better life, may I still lead.
This day is almost over, Lord!
I’m sorry if I broke accord;
Without Thine mercy, love O God,
My life gets thrown into discord.
My every want, Thou providest;
My praises, thanks, I offer best;
Ignore my iniquities Lord;
Afill my heart, mind with Thine word.
O let my lips utter good words,
And let my tongue not turn like swords,
And let me labor for Thine sake,
And dispel ignorance and ache.
The good I did all came from Thee
The bad surfaced from within me;
O help me do my duty well,
And always toll the success bell!
O fill this vessel, Lord, I pray,
With gifts that I can share today,
With downtrodden brethren around,
And men and women, poor, unsound.
O bless my solitude always;
Let devils not invade my days;
So bless my deeds and mundane ways,
Miraculously most, in case.
O take away my pride, O Lord;
I long to live in Thine accord;
Rescue me from each temptation
That takes me nearer Damnation.
Provide me Lord, with Thine insight;
Thou art my only way, truth, light;
Let love for Thee burn always bright,
From dawn till dusk, and through the night.
My fallacies are not just mine;
O keep me off women and wine;
This bread will do; my health is fine;
My soul with grace must always shine.
O Lord, now bless this bread I eat;
And keep my body, heart, soul, neat,
And walking in heavenly grace,
With wisdom, piety-filled face.
If God loves you, you’re saved
If sinful, joyous paths, you undertake;
You cannot go far as God watches you;
If God forbids, such journeys, you can't make;
He gives men freedom; punishments also.
God knows man errs so often by nature;
His pangs of sinful passions, desires;
And does these things if mature, immature;
While devils tempt; man slips into mires.
But not for long as God pulls him afree;
His guilt and conscience make him to repent;
Atonement makes his soul pure, again free;
To make up for misdeeds, now man gets bent.
The love of God for man's soul is so great;
That devils cannot sow discord or hate.
Only You (Can Make My Heart Sing)
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Wasting ‘way days of the past
Wonderin’ where my life would go
So I worried ‘bout tomorrow
In a world so ready to blow
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Use to write songs for the deaf
Songs about my pain and strife
Songs of hate and of confusion
Living death while thinking it life
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Then you’re holy spirit within me
Taught me truth of today
And what your lovin’ means and why I am here
I’m to serve you with all of my heart with all of my mind through your spirit dear
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Now is the time I contend with
Writing every song for you
Praising you for all you have given
Believing in your word of truth
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Only you, only you
Only you, only you can make my heart sing
Only you can make my heart sing
Yes, only you can make my heart sing
The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face
(words & music by ewan maccoll)
The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes
And the moon and stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and the empty skies my love
To the dark and the empty skies
The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hands
Like a trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command my love
That was there at my command
Hoa hoa hoa oh oh oh oh oh oh
Woh oh oh oh hoa hoa hoa
Oh hoa hoa hoa hoa hoa hoa
That was there at my command my love
That was there at my command
The first time ever I kissed your mouth
I felt the earth move in my hands
Like a trembling heart of a captive bird
That was there at my command my love
That was there at my command
Hoa hoa hoa oh oh oh oh oh oh
Sonnet: Things Can Happen Fast
One move that’s false can cost a man his life;
One mortal sin can deny soul, Heaven;
One vain desire can land a man in strife;
One blunder made can land in jail some man.
Wary must be a man in earthly life,
In choosing aims and friends and things he’ll do;
Scary is life whenever comes some strife;
All evil acts attract punishments due.
One split second can change a sinful heart;
Remorse/ penance can win a soul, Heaven;
The state of soul matters when you depart;
’Tis Purgatory or Hell for sinful men!
A prudent man will always keep his soul;
To reach Heaven will be his only goal.
The Butterfly of the Night
suspended in the mid-air, waiting to catch my
bedside snoring, sensing but not responding a little
bit focusing of the shadow of the night, laying in
my mat with a thin fellow in my leg
wondering takes me there to the mystic ecstasy
of Parousia, a never ending experience of joy, the
narcissism of my youth laundering my inner most
feeling of solitude, the beginning of no where of the
answer, as the night begin to settle down in my
most unconventional deep sleep of the mid-dream
beside a wonderful lady of my moment of a time
a distinction of happiness wonders my soul to
take another step, listening only to the command of
the whisper of the heart, the night becomes a day to
remember that you're there in my side, waiting
patiently, to make me glad of the harmony, as we
touch all the night, taking me to the longering
harmonic harp and i will be there to end my feeling
of tranquility, leaves me all behind that makes me
imprison to your command, i will be there to stay
with you my dear one
you come in the middle of nuance moment and
leave me so quickly, my heart has started to obey, the
meaning of your breath in my hand, pushing me to
stop in the islets of every journey is just like as a puff,
make all those dream, remembrance of what was
yesterday when you came in my awesome moment of
the night
wake me up; darling my heart knows that I can’t
just open my heart and my soul calls me to wane up
everything that close my eyes in your loving spirit of
forgiveness
Worry
Friend worry is just Satan’s ploy, to rob you of your God given joy.
He may say that you have control, as he desires to ruin your soul.
Worry not; a command of The Lord, by many simply goes ignored.
Seek first The Kingdom of God, this He says with a confident nod.
Also seek His Righteousness, and He will fill your heart with bliss.
Seek Him first, my dear friend, and all will be yours come the end.
Your concerns to Him just release, and He’ll fill you with His peace.
His Peace that comes from above, comes with His unceasing Love.
Worrying friend will never achieve, what Satan leads you to believe
Not only is worry a waste of time, it robs you of your peace of mind.
Worrying will not add to your life, but fill your heart with undue strife,
Giving your heart unneeded grief, instead of delivering to you relief.
My friend, be not one of little faith, while you anxiously contemplate,
Fearing what may be next in life, which only adds to unneeded strife.
Think upon everything God does, to fill your heart instead with trust,
Christ at work in your daily deeds, is there supplying all your needs.
Look at all the birds up in the air, which feed and live without a care,
And how God clothes all the grass, which only for one season lasts.
The Lord who cares for all the earth, placed on you a special worth,
So friend, worry not about your life, simply give it all to Jesus Christ.
