That Shadow, My Likeness
THAT shadow, my likeness, that goes to and fro, seeking a livelihood,
chattering, chaffering;
How often I find myself standing and looking at it where it flits;
How often I question and doubt whether that is really me;
--But in these, and among my lovers, and caroling my songs,
O I never doubt whether that is really me.

...And Justice For All
Halls of Justice Painted Green
Money Talking
Power Wolves Beset Your Door
Hear Them Stalking
Soon You'll Please Their Appetite
They Devour
Hammer of Justice Crushes You
Overpower
The Ultimate in Vanity
Exploiting Their Supremacy
I Can't Believe the Things You Say
I Can't Believe
I Can't Believe the Price You Pay
Nothing Can Save You
Justice Is Lost
Justice Is Raped
Justice Is Gone
Pulling Your Strings
Justice Is Done
Seeking No Truth
Winning Is All
Find it So Grim
So True
So Real
Apathy Their Stepping Stone
So Unfeeling
Hidden Deep Animosity
So Deceiving
Through Your Eyes Their Light Burns
Hoping to Find
Inquisition Sinking You
With Prying Minds

Fear Not Doubt
it is,
this doubt,
normal, in fact,
to me,
doubt is the beginning
of wisdom,
the only sister
of imagination
the only
way to be original
doubt is poetry
doubt
is truth, doubt is the springboard
of the questions
jump from it
and plunge into the
pool of answers.

Seeds of Doubt
“To tell the truth” invariably
precedes the telling of a lie.
It reeks of insincerity
and always makes me wonder why.
You think that I might doubt your word
although I have no reason to.
I find this prefix quite absurd
to me it never does ring true.
I do not doubt your honesty
nor do I think that you doubt mine.
This prefix is a travesty
which only serves to underline.
The seeds of doubt you sow in me.
Which were not there previously.

Finding Truth
They say that everyone lies
It is said that everyone will hurt you
They say honesty is the best policy
But what happens when we find the truth?
What if we find something we don't want to?
What if we find our life has been a lie?
What if we find all we ever worked for was for nothing?
What happens when we find the truth?
Is it possible to find truth within a person?
Can one person bring light into your world?
Can that one person make everything right?
Can finding that one person be like finding truth?
If it is possible then i believe i found truth
Truth to my life
Truth to everything i've searched for
Truth for the rest of my life.
The lies are over
My life complete
Truth to who i am
Which is all i ever wanted to know...to know just who i am.
This is dedicated to my g/f Gini, i love her so much.

No Doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt... no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt
You should know by now that I really like when youre around
Its so irreplaceable, what we have with you and i
And you should know by now that we belong on each others team
One of the greatest things that came to be is you and me, you and me
I hope by now you recognize no matter what Im here for life
You aint getting rid of me, that is just the bottom line
I think you understand by now we can always work it out
No matter what, Im down, Im down
There aint no doubt that I still love you
No doubt I love you babe, really really love you babe
There aint no doubt that I still want you
No doubt I want you babe, really really want you babe
Shouldnt be no doubt that Im here for you
No doubt Im here for you, really really here for you
I have no doubt about being with you
Its me for you
Thinking back on what I did to cause you so much pain
It was such a silly thing I did to our relationship
But heres something from the heart, I really do apologize
Dont cut me off cause I really love ya
I love ya babe, love ya babe
And I want ya, I want ya babe, want ya babe
Said Im here for ya, for ya babe, for ya babe
Forever Im with you, Im with you
Baby cant you see you belong with me
Ill be here for you so Im telling you
There aint no doubt that I still love you
No doubt I love you babe, really really love you babe
There aint no doubt that I still want you
No doubt I want you babe, really really want you babe
Shouldnt be no doubt that Im here for you
No doubt Im here for you, really really here for you
I have no doubt about being with you
Its me for you
[spoken]
Look baby, I want you to know I love you
And I always will.. dont worry, cause you know...
There aint no doubt that I still love you
No doubt I love you babe, really really love you babe
There aint no doubt that I still want you
No doubt I want you babe, really really want you babe
Shouldnt be no doubt that Im here for you
No doubt Im here for you, really really here for you
I have no doubt about being with you
Its me for you
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt... no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt
You should know
No doubt, no doubt

Seeker of truth
Seeking truth
I'm the seeker of truth
I'm interested to know
What is truth and where it is
Though I know nothing about truth
Though everything is truth
And truth is everywhere.
I know only love is truth
And truth is love and
It is with all animate
And inanimate.
I have no other interest
I have no other motive
But to love
But to seek truth
I'm the seeker of truth
And truth is love
And love is truth.

False Truth
False truth
Just like a word that says
Love will always find the way
No matter how hard
No matter how much
I want to hear what i want
I want to see what i like
As simple as that
Yet it's impossible to be done
Because it's just a false truth
That would never be found
A personal satisfaction within
Called ''Happiness''
Let it slide
Begone for tomorrow
Because when it's the time
You'll learn and see
That truth is just a truth
A fact that simply
Without false
And without doubt…

What Does He Stand For?
'I think he has come to seethe
The others sitting.
While he,
Had to keep himself reminded...
There were things he needs to get done.
And he is going to do it too...
With everyone's assistance.
And no one is going to sit in idleness.
And 'that's what he stands for.
And you will come to know it! '
They're seeking to find fresh deceptions...
To try to stick on him!
They're seeking to find fresh deceptions...
To try to stick on him!
They're seeking to find fresh deceptions...
To try to stick on him!
Anything to get their point of view across...
To someone who will listen to them.

That Is Not An Offer
How can you say,
With 'me' you have been direct?
I find you too convoluted.
Too introspective.
Too self involved with issues,
You have protected.
And you wish me to be the one you select...
To find you irresistible?
As if I'm seeking someone...
With looks and no depth?
Those days for me have long 'petered out'.
I use to have a pet!
But today I'll settle for all the peace of mind I can get.
And chasing behind mysteries...
I'd rather leave alone to be drama free.
Do you see how clear my eyes are?
You will not find them clouded with doubt!
Or vacantly awaiting for an occupation,
Of your BS planted to upset.
That will be a bet made you lose.
You will not find strategic steps of your 'mess'
Accepted here to endear to leave confusion.
And that is not an offer.
That is a conclusion.

2 Steps
You know im the kind of guy that does a 9-5
Workin real hard cuz its the way I live my life
Back home just me and you girl all alone
With no one interrupting, switch off the phone
But I could be that other guy
Who comes home late at night and tells you lies
So why you trippin out on me girl all the time?
When everyday its only you thats on my mind
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz theres really no doubt about it
You know I've been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz theres really no doubt about it
You know I've been there for you and thats the truth
You know you're the kinda girl that doesn't need to front
Keep it real, let me know just what you want
Sometimes you just dont know when to stop
Your working so much over nothing
Your just losing what you got
Now cant you see there's no other girl
I think your the most beautiful woman in this world (yeah)
But you say I dont appreciate ya and I dont know how to treat ya
We dont do the same things we used to do nomore
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Remember, it wasnt that long ago
You told me that you loved me so
Dont forget all the nights we shared when you told me girl just how much you cared
Remember, you can be led astray
But thats the way playas play
Im not that kinda man why cant you understand cuz I
Want you to trust in me, Babygirl cant you see
You're only gonna mess things up
You've done enough
Why cant you stop cuz
You're gonna lose whats good for you
And thats the last thing you wanna do
Won't find another like me
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back
Hey you really gotta think about it
cuz there's really no doubt about it
You know ive been there for you and thats the truth
Everytime we take one step forward you take two steps back
Everytime its right you bring left back

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth
The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!
What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!
The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!
We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!
Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!
These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!
I admit that my visions can never mean to other men as much as they do to me. I do not regret this. All I ask is that my results should convince seekers after truth that there is beyond doubt something worth while seeking, attainable by methods more or less like mine. I do not want to father a flock, to be the fetish of fools and fanatics, or the founder of a faith whose followers are content to echo my opinions. I want each man to cut his own way through the jungle.

The Road Of Life
As pilgrims on the road of life,
We journey on with hope,
Through the joy, and through the strife,
Our own kaleidoscope.
Seeking harmony and seeking peace,
Striving to find our way,
Wishing that, all wars may cease,
And trying hard to pray.
As pilgrims on the road of life,
We travel on with desire,
Through the joy, and through the strife,
Our destiny to acquire.
Seeking calm and seeking rest,
Striving to find a place,
Wishing that we could be blest,
With His pure heavenly grace.
As pilgrims on the road of life,
We traverse on with love,
Through the joy, and through the strife,
To our Creator, up above.

Truth and Lies
Some poeple always tell the truth,
Some people never lie,
You lied you fibbed and told the truth,
You managed to make me cry.
It's not that very often,
When someone tells the truth,
the whole truth and nothing but,
I really can't believe you,
I've got to have some proof.
How could you go and do this,
You said you'd never hurt me,
Was that just another lie?
Because you've gone and made me cry.
I think you'll find that in this life,
You'll find two different sorts,
There ones that tell the truth
and ones that always lie.
The ones that tell the truth,
Will make you sing and dance,
The ones that tell the lies,
Will make you sad and cry.

What Is Truth? Diogenes' Quest
What is truth?
Please verify your proof
Warped perceptions, systemic deception
Truth becomes mere conception
Truth today, rejected tomorrow
Confuses unfortunates caught in sorrow
A word, a pledge, verses of the Bible
Those who slander, practitioners of libel
Trust I'm seeking, truth I need to know
Lies I avoid allowing trust to grow
What truth does justice provide?
Knowing injustice sits by its side
The truth that all mortals expire
Myths of Heaven or burning fire
To place trust in what you think is truth
And find it was instilled in early youth
Awakens mentality to reality of lies
Shaping your mind and thoughts besides
To search the land with lantern in hand
For one honest, truthful man
Diogenes' quest - disappointment, reprimand
To thy own self remain honestly true
To the world, allow truth to define you

In the Alley of Truth
As I was standing by the hillside
A voice spoke to me
It said this world you have forgotten
Will finally be set free
And I prayed to a spirit
I wasn't completely sure of
But what if I wanted to fall
Instead of come up to find love
Oh, these lies
Killing me
Killing me
Shot dead
Darkness
Oh, it's you
In the alley of truth
I see the sparkle in your eye
You can't deny it
As I spoke to the river
And breathed life to you
You turned your head away
Away from the truth
The truth
The truth
Where can I find the truth?
Is it inside of me?
Where can I find the truth?
Is it here with me?
I can't say
Please don't let me go
I'm lost
Be my light
Be my guide
You are so
