With 2 movies opening this summer, I have no relaxing time at all. Whatever I have is spent in a drunken stupor.

My Drunken Stupor
In a drunken stupor
I wonder what I should create
From the back my mind a light goes off
They say its part of the creative process
But I wonder if I'm actually making any progress
Or am I going backwards tripping all over myself
I drank tonight to make an unending headache go away.
Buzzed I hope does deteriorate my writing ability
That probably sounds kind of silly
Of course it does
It must
For my vision get kind of blurry, so my thoughts must also
Remembering what I write from word to word is kind of absurd
This is my drunken stupor

My Canadian Chronicles 19
Sitting in the sunshine
enjoying the silence of the day.
Relaxing, as all my worries
seem a million miles away.
I don’t want reality to ever kick in
as I sit enjoying the sunshine
on a peaceful summer’s day.
I am enjoying all nature’s natural sounds
like the birds chirping in the trees.
Enjoying summers stance
as the smell of new mowed grass
perfumes the summer day.
It is just like heaven
relaxing on a summer’s day.

Red Rock Canyon
Oh, what a gorgeous day it was
To drive around the countryside
Autumn was apparent for certain
As I took an afternoon ride
The red hills were sliced off
As though with a sculpture’s knife
Yes, I had such a relaxing day
Putting aside any possible strife
Golden leaves were falling
Softly through the midst
Of everything cold and fresh
I could feel nature’s kiss
Yes, it was nature at its finest
I’m sure you can understand
It was a time to just enjoy
Autumn without a single plan
So I spent this special day
With the sky as my companion
I had a relaxing time at
The beautiful red rock canyon!

Summer Fun
Scorched and parched from the summer heat,
An airily, air conditioned place sounds so sweet.
Going on vacation from all of these stressful days,
A resort with swimming pools, Jacuzzis and buffets.
As I lay under the arid summer sun,
Relaxing and errantly having fun.
As I espy the summer flowers bloom,
Listening to my favorite tune.
Sitting here with a drink and my radio,
I could get a bad sun burn, I know.
My sunscreen will block the UV rays of the hot sun,
Going to lay out by the pool and have a lot of fun.
Clear blue skies and fresh clean air,
Not any worries nor one single care.
Swimming and playing, having a great time,
kicking back and relaxing is my favorite pastime.

I always knew I wanted to be a character in the movies. When I was growing up, I had to have a lot of surgery, and I spent a lot of time recovering at home and in the hospital. Watching movies took me away from my own problems and gave me a total escape.

Worries Of A Flower!
Beautiful bees and butterflies,
Roaming around me for my nectar,
In such a drunken stupor,
Stealing away my treasure,
To decide the fate of another flower,
Whether it is going to wilt as a virgin,
Or get pollinated by these urchins.

Sad Movies
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
He said he had to work, so I went to the show alone.
They turned down the lights and turned the projector on.
And just as the news of the world started to begin,
I saw my darling and my best friend walking in.
Although I was sitting right there they didnn see me.
And so they both sat right down in the front of me.
And when he kissed her lips then I almost died.
And in the middle of the colour cartoon I started to cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
And so I got on up and slowly I walked on home,
And mama saw the tears and said baby what is wrong.
And so just to keep from telling her a lie,
I just said sad movies makes me cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry

Only In The Making Of Movies
Only in the making of movies,
Are actors found to be handed scripts.
To then learn lines some find to be tedious.
And time well spent is sacrificed to deliver,
What's right for the price...
For the cost being paid.
Camera angles are selected,
By a director who chooses the best scenes.
And the actors are blocked within them,
To emote with belief as an audince viewing this...
Sits,
With their emotions manipulated.
Only in the making of movies,
Are 'realities' depicted.
Although many in the audience become captivated,
With beliefs they also can deceive truth easily.
By saying and doing things they wish to sell.
With hopes their 'portrayals' have gone over well.
And only those who become offended,
They can not sell lies they told to tell...
Are those who become combative,
When confronted by others...
Who are specific and direct AND caring less,
How a charade is masqueraded to address.
Only in the making of movies,
Are actors found to be handed scripts.
To then learn lines some find to be tedious.
Until what is done has been finished.
But many unpaid to 'act' but embellish facts,
Find it difficult to strip away all their fantasies.
Only in the making of movies...
No one sits back to snack.
Only in the making of movies...
Every actor wants to get paid.
And,
Only in the making of movies...
No one sits back to snack.
No one has time for that,
Since a budget has to be paid back.
Oh.
Only in the making of movies...
No one sits back to snack.
Only in the making of movies...
Every actor wants to get paid.
And,
Only in the making of movies...
No one sits back to snack.
No one has time for that,
Since a budget has to be paid back.
Oh.
Only in the making of movies...
Facts are scratched!
And,
Only in the making of movies...
Facts are scratched!

Buddhist Lesson # 2
enlightment,
the act of opening,
like a rosebud,
like a mother,
opening the door...
like a child
opening a present,
like a woman
opening to a man....
opening...
all the hidden chambers,
every door to every
secret kingdom of the soul.....
opening the box that holds
your secret thoughts, desires....
opening...
the door of the cage,
letting the winged breath fly....
opening....
your heart to itself,
and to all hearts beating....
opening....
the vault of conceptions,
the entrance to the tomb
of past lives and memories....
opening...
your hands to the world
as if it were your neighbor,
and you, it's home!

Summer Time Blues
Try to add perfumes to your minds to meet me there,
The summer is here and it is with the blues;
You are not alone on this hot summer night.
We havethe natural fragrant to keep us going,
The summer time blues to swing with the muse;
You are not alone without the blues.
Scents for your love,
Mid-Summer-Night blues to your taste;
Enjoy the summer with the safety of numbers.
Summer time blues,
The fragrant of love to keep you going;
Summer, summer, summer time! !
Summer time blues,
The summer of a muse;
Summer time blues,
The summer of a poem;
With relationships that moves you up.
Summer time blues,
With the heat waves to crown the day;
Perfume your body to meet up to the act.
Let us visit Copacabana and Ipanema this summer,
Of the rocky promontory at sight to give you hope;
Like the summer time blues with your lover.
It is summer time,
Visit the beaches to see things for yourselves;
Summer, summer, summer time! !
Meet me there and touch me with your heart.
A summer time love with the blues,
Like the golden grape of my soul;
Summer is the essence of a colourful life.
The sense of reality in times like this,
The heat with love to share with others;
Where the hearts of lovers do meet like,
One's love never touched before.
Summer time blues is all about this muse,
A time of love to share with your lover;
Summer, summer, summer time! !

Last Rose Of Summer
Throughout the soft and timeless days of august
til now the shadows begin to grow much longer
The sunsets fire has deepened blood red
I give you this, the last rose of summer
A token of my unyielding love
So when the winters mantle stills the earth
And all around seems dead and cold
This rose reminds you of a time when all was warm and living
Do not despair, mother nature simply rests
In sleep she has well earned
til one day not so very far from now
With the opening of the first rose buds I shall return
A token of my unyielding love
So that when winters mettle steals the earth
And all around seems dead and cold
This rose reminds you of a time when all was warm and living
The last rose of summer
The last rose of summer
In your long shadows
The last rose of summer
In the sunset
The last rose of summer
Take this rose that I give you
The last rose of summer
The last rose of summer
Dont worry about the winter
The last rose of summer
I shall return
The last rose of summer
The last rose of summer

Music itself is a great source of relaxation. Parts of it anyway. Working in the studio, that's not relaxing, but playing an instrument that I don't know how to play is unbelievably relaxing, because I don't have any pressure on me.

Groovy Movies
Sometimes I think Im gonna better myself,
Searching for acceptance in this big, wide world.
Sometimes I think I wont make it,
Playing in a rock n roll band.
Sometimes I wanna be a picture director,
And try to make the world understand.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
All the movie makers of the world would be,
Falling over backwards to have dinner with me.
Ill go down to [? ]
Anytime I feel like a game[? ].
Or take a long vacation to san tropez,
And think of all the money I made.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
I dont want to be a producer,
I dont want to be a big star.
I just want to be a picture director,
And smoke a big havana cigar.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.

A Typical Kiwi Christmas...(wooo...bring it on...smiles)
Summer is finally here
As we get ready for
Our Christmas cheer
White sands
Bright sun
Blue seas
Ah a typical Kiwi Christmas day
Burning barbies in the sun
Sizzling meat marinated over night
Pulling out our picnic treats
Drooling over our Christmas brunch
Families gathering for Christmas cheer
Oh what a wonderful way
To spend on Christmas day
Watching the kids
Having fun in the sun
Volley and cricket
And bulrush and touch
Just relaxing enjoying the day
Family opening presents
With glee Christmas to me
Is fun in the sun?

The california animal is a bear
Angeleo but the devil mat care
Summer time to talk to and swear
Later maybe we could share some air
Ill take to you the movies there
We could walk through Leicester Square
What could be wetter then
An English girl American man
London in the summer time
Call me now use the satellite
London in the summer time
Cuss me out and itll feel all right
Hesitate but dont refuse
The choice is yours but you said choose
The look she used was green and sharp
Stabbed that boy all in his heart
Come what may the cosmos will
Take me up and down on Primirose Hill
What could be wetter then
An English girl American man
London in the summer time
Call me now use the satellite
London in the summer time
Cuss me out and itll feel all right
Cuss me out and itll feel all right
Its all right now
Call me now use the satellite
Its all right
Its all right
Down and out and itll sound all right
Its all right now
Its all right
The California flower is a poppy child
Felony sends me all the gold in your smile
Drift away from anyone you can
Nothing ever goes according to plan
Though I know that every river bends
What could be wetter then
An English girl American man
London in the summer time
Call me now use the satellite
London in the summer time
Cuss me out and itll feel all right

Analyses of the movie marketplace points to an interesting phenomenon: High-profile movies are continuing to do well year-to-year in the U.S. and overseas - this past summer, for example, the top 10 movies registered at the same level as in '04.
