The world is not looking for servants, there are plenty of these, but for masters, men who form their purposes and then carry them out, let the consequences be what they may.

I think you have to remember that Americans saw their purpose as so innately good that they could excuse the pain they would inflict on others to carry out those purposes. Because the purposes were so good, they would justify this pain we were inflicting on other people.

Separated
In the early hours of this morning
I was wakened by a raging storm.
It was at this time that I discovered
I’d been separated from my form.
My substance had passed away
leaving me to carry on alone.
I don’t know why I’ve been forsaken
I’m now a shadow without a home.
The consequences are yet unknown,
but I have to try and carry on.
I don’t know how I’m going to do it
without my companion.
It’s time to venture out into the street
it appears to be a lovely day.
The sky is cloudless the sun is warm,
but no one can hear a word I say.
The other shadows are ignoring me
because I’m not being cast.
What does that mean to an un-cast shadow?
Are they inferring that I won’t last?
I’m beginning to get really anxious now,
the sun is bright, but I’m fading away.
Maybe I’m going and won’t be back,
and my departure was just a delay.

It is with our passions as it is with fire and water, they are good servants, but bad masters.
Fire and water are good servants but bad masters.
When masters are fighting, their servants' forelocks are creaking.

It is with our passions, as it is with fire and water, they are good servants but bad masters.
Masters are fighting, servants' forelocks are creaking.
Masters who sacrifice for servants will receive the gift of loyalty.
The passions are like fire and water: good servants but bad masters.
He that would be ill served should keep plenty of servants.
Life Is A Flower
We live in a free world
I whistle down the wind
Carry on smiling
And the world will smile with you
Life is a flower
So precious in your hand
Carry on smiling
And the world will smile with you
When every race is run
And the day is closing in
I dont care about the world
Im living for the light
Dont cry for me today, ah-ah ah...
We live in a free world
I whistle down the wind...
I can not be your judge
Mr. jailer is your host
Hes keeping you inside
And hides you from the world
No catcher in the rye
Can help you from yourself
We live in a free world
I whistle down the wind...
Please mr. agony
Release them for a while
Learn them the consequences of
Living without life
We live in a free world...
(repeat & fade)

Into The Feudal System
we'd like to change this world
we'd agree there should be no masters
no tenants, all independent beings
living life pursuant to need not greed
i traveled to far lands and ate ideas
looked for patterns and took them home
i visited your house and you were alone
surrounded by servants at your command
we admit we were too inconsistent then
for how did ever survive without all them?
