Men in Great Place are thrice Servants Servants of the Sovereign or State Servants of Fame and Servants of Business It is strange desire to seek Power and to lose Liberty.

There is a human capital crisis in the federal government. Not only are we losing the decades of talent as civil servants retire, we are not doing enough to develop and nurture the next generation of public servants.

Not because they were servants were we so reserved, for many noble persons are forced to serve through necessity, but by reason the vulgar sort of servants are as ill bred as meanly born, giving children ill examples and worse counsel.

Wouldest Thou!
THY SERVANTS CLAIM THAT ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BELONGS TO YOU!
THY SCRIPTURES HAS IT WRITTEN! AND I QUOTE!
GO YE TO MY SERVANT JOB! DESTROY ALL HE HAS, BUT TOUCH NOT HIS LIFE!
THY SERVANTS SAY THIS TO ME!
IN EVERYTHING, GIVE THANKS UNTO GOD!
WOULDEST THOU GIVE THANKS UNTO ME IF I WERE GOD AND YOU WERE ME?
WOULDEST THOU WORSHIP ME IF I HAD DONE ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME BY THE DOINGS OF THINE SERVANTS?
THY SCRIPTURES HAST PROVEN THAT THE DOINGS OF THE DEVIL BE BY THY BIDDENS!
HOW THEN CAN THOU AND THINE HOUSEHOLD BE CALLED THE GOOD?
HOW THEN CANST THOU AND THINE HOUSEHOLD BE INNOCENT?
FOR ALL EVIL BY ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BE OF THEE!
FOR ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BELONGS TO YOU! THEY CLAIM!
WOULDEST THOU RESPECT ME IF I DID UNTO YOU BY THE HANDS OF MINE SERVANTS ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME BY THE HANDS OF THINE SERVANTS?
WOULDEST THOU?

We call ourselves public servants but I'll tell you this: we as public servants must set an example for the rest of the nation. It is hypocritical for the public official to admonish and exhort the people to uphold the common good.

Of Stars and Servants
The stars shine in the nights
and on the stage, they sparkle
with much elegance and might.
They are idolized, iconized,
and spectators get infected
by this great fever as the stars
sparkle and shine.
While from below the ground
the servants lay their lives
in the remotest mountains,
slums, villages and valleys
where human needs are attended,
love and compassion, extended-
not seeking the grandeur
to sparkle and shine on the great stage
but willing to lose themselves-
excluded, secluded, persecuted.
The stars shine in elegance
for themselves
The servants lose themselves
to serve.

Akhu
Nicely,
Quite lovely!
And like the muse of your lover called Akhu;
But, do you know that,
To whom you yield yourselves as servants to obey,
His of her servants you are to whom you obey? !
And like the rules of various laws on this earth,
But, it was quite lovely to see you once again.

Do not be like servants who serve their masters expecting to receive a reward be rather like servants who serve their master unconditionally, with no thought of reward.

The most powerful person
Wealth, power, respect,
…….He had everything.
Dozens of servants,
Working under him.
His each second,
Was worth a million.
He had the power,
Power to control people
And the power to command respect.
But this powerful person,
Who had dozens of servants
Was himself a servant! ! !
A servant to……
His addiction of tobacco!
Oh! what a pity,
A person so powerful
Was under the control,
Of something so petty!
Power lies……
Not in controlling others,
But in the control
Of Yourself and Your Will.

I See A New Scene
Physiotherapist advice, neck to be fixed,
moving like an Egyptian backwards only
I See A New Scene for the Government
Service Opera; a line of civil servants in
front of computers - a bell rings and all
move their heads in Egyptian style
Wagner's Valkyries arrive on their flying
steeds singing ho-to-jo - and when civil
servants fall forward, dead in their chair,
a Valkyrie flies them to a special Govern-
mental Valhalla where they are treated
to an eternal Governmental Indaba
A Vision and Mission Statement event
at a dusty lodge, endless speeches fol-
lowed by team-building games; all acted
out with great gusto to warn civil servants
not to die in their chairs…

Soul reaps sins
I own gain and loss of my firm.
My servants to it are immune.
Servants terminated, remains
The residue only with me.
Sins and virtues stick to the Self
Not to the body that’s mortal.
Only soul feels heat and cold.
Sans soul the body is immune.

Mary Queen Of Arkansas
Mary queen of arkansas, its not too early for dreamin
The sky is grown with cloud seed sown and a bastards love can be redeeming
Mary, my queen, your soft hulk is reviving
No, youre not too late to desecrate, the servants are just rising
Well Im just a lonely acrobat, the live wire is my trade
Ive been a shine boy for your acid brat and a wharf rat of your state
Mary, my queen, your blows for freedom are missing
Youre not man enough for me to hate or woman enough for kissing
The big top is for dreamers, we can take the circus all the way to the
Border
And the gallows wait for martyrs whose papers are in order
But I was not born to live to die and you were not born for queenin
Its not too late to infiltrate, the servants are just leavin
Mary queen of arkansas, your white skin is deceivin
You wake and wait to lie in bait and you almost got me believin
But on your bed mary I can see the shadow of a noose
I dont understand how you can hold ma so tight and love me so damn loose
But I know a place where we can go, mary
Where I can get a good job and start all over again clean
I got contacts deep in mexico where the servants have been seen

THEIR FOOLISHNESS, INDEED'MAKES ME AMAZED!
THEY GATHER AND WORSHIP A BEING THEY CLAIM MADE ALL THINGS IN EXISTENCE!
THEY GATHER FOOD MEANT FOR THEY AND THEIR CHILDREN AND GIVE TO THE SERVANTS OF THIS BEING!
THEY ARE REFERED TO AS SHEEP AND FLOCK BY THE SON OF THIS BEING!
THEY FIGHT AND DIE FOR THIS BEING!
YET I ASK THEE! HOW CAN I WORSHIP A BEING WHOSE HOUSEHOLD IS FED BY ANIMALS?
HOW CAN I WORSHIP A BEING WHOSE FOOD IS BUT FOOD MEANT FOR ANIMALS AND THEIR CHILDREN?
WOE! WOE! ! IS THEIR PROPHECIES!
WOES! AND MORE WOES! !
INDEED! THIS BEING AND HIS HOUSEHOLD WHO EATS OF THE MEAT AND BREAD FOR ANIMALS!
SEND NOT THY SERVANTS AT ME!
NAY! YOU EAT FROM THE CRUMBS FROM THE TABLES OF ANIMALS AND SHEEPS!
AND FROM THIS CRUMBS THY SERVANTS WAGES ARE PAID!
DEMEAN NOT MY EXISTENCE! STAY AWAY FROM ME'I BESEECH YOU!

A Song of the Pen
Not for the love of women toil we, we of the craft,
Not for the people's praise;
Only because our goddess made us her own and laughed,
Claiming us all our days,
Claiming our best endeavour -- body and heart and brain
Given with no reserve --
Niggard is she towards us, granting us little gain:
Still, we are proud to serve.
Not unto us is given choice of the tasks we try,
Gathering grain or chaff;
One of her favoured servants toils at an epic high,
One, that a child may laugh.
Yet if we serve her truly in our appointed place,
Freely she doth accord
Unto her faithful servants always this saving grace,
Work is its own reward!

Souls Of Weather
In spring as we shed our clothes
The humble trees wear robes of green
We thank god that winter has left
How a wonderful weather it is
How a merry scene it is
But what can the servants of god do
Of the scorching hot air that arrives on our doorsteps when may fades
O how unwelcoming it is
It makes us forgive the cold biting weather
It makes the servants raise up their hands to thy lord and say;
''May winter come on fragrant winds
And bind us in its cruel cold wings''

Serve The Servents
Teenage angst has paid off well
Now I'm bored and old
Self-appointed judges judge
More than they have sold
If she floats than she's not
A witch like we had thought
A down payment on another
One at Salem's lot
Serve the servants - oh no
That legendary divorce is such a bore
As my bones grew they did hurt
They hurt really bad
I tried hard to have a father
But instead I had a Dad
I just want you to know that I
Don't hate you anymore
There is nothing I could say
That I haven't thought before
Serve the servants - oh no
That legendary divorce is such a bore

Familiars
In the darkness
They send chills down my spine
The bare descending moon
Has burst into life
Hunting and suffering with prisoned eyes
Familiars play in moonlit skies
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
The nerves from the creatures
That you receive
Black magic is here
Bow down to it's knees
No emotion, Familiars can grasp
The adrenaline rush takes over so fast
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
These blue hearts
They will scream
They will scream
You feel them screaming, mourning in the shadows
They will scream...
* This is a song I wrote in my band, the structure and repetition would make more sense if i sung it to you but I'm quite proud of this one =)

When kings lose direction they become servants.
Great men's servants don't think little of themselves.
Ch 01 Manner of Kings Story 25
One of the Arab kings ordered his officials to double the allowance of a certain attendant because he was always at the palace expecting orders while the other servants were engaged in amusements and sports, neglecting their duties. A pious man who heard this remarked that high degrees at the court of heaven are similarly bestowed upon servants:
If a man comes two mornings to serve the shah
He will on the third certainly look benevolently on him.
Sincere worshippers entertain the hope
That they will not be disappointed at the threshold of God.
Superiority consists in attending to commands.
The neglect of commands leads to exclusion.
Who possesses the criterion of righteousness
Places the head upon the threshold.
