As this is the first time I have had the floor, it may be well for me now to confess, that I am in the habit of freely imputing errors to my fellow-men.

Need To Confess

Sometimes we need to confess something,
not a crime, but a habit
and we are not sure the best way to do it.
Our confession is not a sin
though there are those
who believe it may be so.
Mine is a habit
I acquired a long, long time ago.
I have tried many times to break it
and each time I have been unsuccessful.
That doesn’t mean I am giving up
without ever trying again.
It is a problem that lots of us must live with
and a habit that is not so easy to break.

Errors

there will be always errors
my errors
not yours, even your errors
shall be mine
for there will always be errors
that is too normal
for our lifetime
too short to be erroneous
but always real
too real to be touched
too exciting
to be always noticed
and too numb to be affected
by their
hypocrisies

you too? oh my, why?
don't you like to be the most normal
bird with only two wings
to fly?
how can you use a third wing?
to see with the third eye
aren't you funny to see
on this third
excess?

come, let us feast on these errors
drink these glasses of errors
be filled and vomit with errors
defecate these errors
and be empty again
after having learned so much
to become the
newest genius in this town

of errors.

Homegrown

If I was an unknown...
Would I be a better habit?
If you could not cast your eyes upon me,
Would you care to not freely,
Daily let me 'have it'?

I would walk about,
Without your 'penetrating' burn!
You could save those actions made,
For someone else you've chosen to earn.

And if you had not known my views,
Or my philosophy that's kept.
You would not think of me publicly,
In terms to belittle to spew words of disrespect!

Why bother taking time for that?
Your eyes may roll...
But you and I have never met!

If I was an unknown...
Would I be a better habit?
If you could not cast your eyes upon me,
Would you care to not freely,
Daily let me 'have it'?

Or are those signs of implied affection?
And in my 'imperfections' stated...
I've misunderstood your comments!
And I've should have dispelled...
Your loud obnoxious yells,
As a way of showing me you are actually elated! ?

I had not known!
Since like you...
I am also homegrown!

My Habits

The habit we seek in white is joining me,
Identify me with the aid of this habit;
Teeth are struck from afar, like a speedy ghost,
Colours speak, and blood arrives and splatters.
My habit turned out to be distasteful,
As a carcass I was found, and on the floor.
Very old age struck me afterwards,
Inner habits were developed for the keeping of love.
The habit in white was a pretty flower
Plucked by everybody, plucked and upset.

This habit of forming opinions, and acting upon them without evidence, is one of the most immoral habits of the mind. ... As our
opinions are the fathers of our actions, to be indifferent about the evidence of our opinions is to be indifferent about the consequences of our actions. But the consequences of our actions are the good and evil of our fellow-creatures. The habit of the neglect of evidence, therefore, is the habit of disregarding the good and evil of our fellow-creatures.

Excerpt, A Grammatical Lapse Corrected....

a long time
and now here you are with all these gray hairs,

and you confess
that at this age all that you want to do is listen

it is unlikely that you write
for there will be more corrections and it will really take
a whole lifetime to
finish and
remove all these errors

I have no hope.
The blind talk about an escape.
I see.
When the errors are consumed
The nothing will sit next to us
as our last companion.

Im The One Who Loves You

Chorus:
Im the one who loves you
Im the one who loves you
Im the one who loves you
Im the one who loves you
Little girl again you are blue
Another fellow has gone and left you
I see youve come back to me
Your best frind
To tell another tragic story again
And once more you look into my eyes
And one more time you ought to realize
Repeat chorus
I must confess youre not to be blamed
For being caught in those boys vicious games
This time I wont let you go back
Never again, my dear, in fact
Im gonna stop the blueness
In you
Also confess what my heart
Wants me to
Repeat chorus
Just once more you look in my eyes
And one more time you ought to realize
Repeat chorus

(Everybody on the floor)
West Side
(Everybody on the floor)

[Beyonce:]
We told you we was gonna give it to you raw
(Everybody on the floor)
We ain't do it right the first time
(Everybody on the floor)
We gonna do it right the second time
(Everybody on the floor)

You make me wanna throw my pager out the window
Tell MCI to cut the phone poles

Her Only Bad Habit Is Me

We walk hand in hand
through our world today.
We will walk that way forever,
if bad habits don’t get in the way.
Now she has only one bad habit,
and that habit is me.

If I do something wrong,
she does not see my failing there.
She would rather go on loving,
the man she chose to care.
Now my bad habit shine like a beckon,
but she does not really care.

So though we wander with love,
through to the sunset somewhere.
I think of how lucky I am,
with everything I see.
So glad she has only one bad habit,
and that habit is me.

Genocide

Our lives run different ways
Through the rain I see you in the sun
Our star shines anyway
If you wish upon it we are one

CHORUS:
Dog eat dog
Every day
On our fellow man we prey
Dog eat dog
To get by
Hope you like my genocide

I find it such a shame
Through the pain I see things as they are
We're served up on a plate
The pedestal is high enough to fall

And if in time
We can see the errors of our ways
Would anyone change it anyhow
Our time is up

CHORUS
I bet you'd only run
If you saw what goes inside our own
I bet you'd lead the way
If it were up to you to decide
But it's not

I Must Confess

Today I confess to you
one of my biggest fears
That you don’t feel the same as I do.

Today I confess to you
one of my greatest joys
For this feeling gives me great happiness.

Today I confess to you
my grandest accomplishment
To be able to have this feeling.

Today I must confess to you
That seeing you
Makes me feel complete.

Today I must confess to you
That your touch
Heals all my pain.

Today I must confess to you
what I feel is painful
And it makes it more grand.

Today I must confess to you
That no one shares
What my heart feels for you.

Today I must confess to you
My deepest feeling,
I love you!

Flashs Confession

Ive just had a dream that I never will forget,
And I wish I could erase.
I was standing on the street with a whole crowd of people
And no one knew my name.
And I was just another face
No one looked at me or touched me
Spoke to or acknowledged me.
I had no identity or individuality
No thoughts of my own, no mind or personality.
I was just a no one, a total nonentity
Im just a number waiting to be called.
It is time for confessing it all,
Im just another face,
Yes, its time for confessing it all.
Been a cheat, been a crook,
Never gave I always took.
Crushed people to acquire
Anything that I desired.
Been deceitful and a liar
Now Im facing hell fire.
I cant believe that my time has come
For confessing all the evil
And the wrong that Ive done.
The reckonings come
And now Im just a no one.
I confess to the timid and the meek
To the cripples and the beggars
And the tramps in the street.
I confess my cruelty, my ego and conceit,
Ive opened up my body and looked inside
And Im everything that I once despised.
I confess for the thieves,
The affected and deranged,
I confess for the muggers and incurably insane,
I confess to the ugly for being vain,
I confess to those I hurt for causing them pain.
Im just a number
Waiting to be called
And its time for confessing it all,
And Im just another face,
And it is time for confessing it all,
Yes, its time for confessing it all,
Yes, its time for confessing it all.

Habit

See it happen to a couple of friends
See it happen and the message it sends
Take it up for what's an obvious fault
Just to see what all the fuss is about

And it's not your way... not your way
And it's not your way... not your way

Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self

And it's not your way... not your way
And it's not your way... not your way

Never thought you'd... habit (3x)
I never thought you
