Flashs Confession
Ive just had a dream that I never will forget,
And I wish I could erase.
I was standing on the street with a whole crowd of people
And no one knew my name.
And I was just another face
No one looked at me or touched me
Spoke to or acknowledged me.
I had no identity or individuality
No thoughts of my own, no mind or personality.
I was just a no one, a total nonentity
Im just a number waiting to be called.
It is time for confessing it all,
Im just another face,
Yes, its time for confessing it all.
Been a cheat, been a crook,
Never gave I always took.
Crushed people to acquire
Anything that I desired.
Been deceitful and a liar
Now Im facing hell fire.
I cant believe that my time has come
For confessing all the evil
And the wrong that Ive done.
The reckonings come
And now Im just a no one.
I confess to the timid and the meek
To the cripples and the beggars
And the tramps in the street.
I confess my cruelty, my ego and conceit,
Ive opened up my body and looked inside
And Im everything that I once despised.
I confess for the thieves,
The affected and deranged,
I confess for the muggers and incurably insane,
I confess to the ugly for being vain,
I confess to those I hurt for causing them pain.
Im just a number
Waiting to be called
And its time for confessing it all,
And Im just another face,
And it is time for confessing it all,
Yes, its time for confessing it all,
Yes, its time for confessing it all.

We Should Be Making Love
Weve been friends forever looking for the same thing
True love can be so hard to find
Maybe weve been looking in all the wrong places
cause we keep coming back here everytime
Talking to each other
Comparinng our heartaches
Confessing the ways we long to be satisfied
Maybe theres something going on here
Maybe theres something here for you and me
We should be making love
Instead of wasting time with someone else
We should be making love instead of going home all by ourselves
Oh, now Ive told you I want to be your lover
Why dont we discover where we go from here
I dont want no other
Do you feel it too everything we get together?
Telling our stories
Comparinng our heartaches
Confessing the ways we long to be satisfied
Comparinng our heartaches
Confessing the ways we long to be satisfied
Telling our stories
Comparinng our heartaches
Confessing the ways we long to be satisfied
I know theres something going on here
You know its so obvious to see
We should be making love
Instead of wasting time with someone else
We should be making love instead of going home all by ourselves

Confessing Sins
when guilt is full
there comes a time when we think of
the possibility of confessing our sins,
the usual sins of omissions
more than our sins of commissions,
to a friend perhaps, but you doubt
for he has more sins than you have
and it might as well end
on the reverse, you the listening tree
and he the barking dog,
or perhaps to a religious group but
you shy away because of their number
and you might as well at the end be the
subject of their gossip
in town for a week or so,
and so you become a catholic again
on a Sunday before your parish priest
you kneel down and confess your sins,
and your dismay the priest says,
'
my son these are not sins anymore
under the new doctrines
with an ending, don't worry my boy
you'll do penance just the same
say three our fathers and three hail Mary's
and don't come back
your sins are the same as mine'
what comfort is this, when sins are confessed
to a person on the same misery and guilt as we are.

Fail Each Time
This is where we fail each time
Take solace by confessing sometimes
what do we miss from real heart?
Just to lift the leave and have good start
why should we worry and pray?
As all our life had been waste and did not stay
to the ideals of almighty and kept in captivity
now is the time to assert alone and not to show any inability
I refuse to be drawn in selfish struggle
Lt that put me in any kind of trouble
Prayers are not meant for addressing concerns
Thy got to be tackled and proven in turn
Man may commit error
Murder the people and create terror
He may simple go in and confess the crime
Ask for solace and peace in bad time
Why are we so self oriented?
Why do we remain away from reality and unrelated?
He is medium for us to come to the rescue
But what are we suppose to do?
There can be no excuse for such mentality
Certain faults can be waved because of inability
But with bad intention if something is performed
Person himself is responsible and needs to be reformed

I Must Confess
Today I confess to you
one of my biggest fears
That you don’t feel the same as I do.
Today I confess to you
one of my greatest joys
For this feeling gives me great happiness.
Today I confess to you
my grandest accomplishment
To be able to have this feeling.
Today I must confess to you
That seeing you
Makes me feel complete.
Today I must confess to you
That your touch
Heals all my pain.
Today I must confess to you
what I feel is painful
And it makes it more grand.
Today I must confess to you
That no one shares
What my heart feels for you.
Today I must confess to you
My deepest feeling,
I love you!

Deep and meaningful' conversations.
These days there seem to be no victories,
No marches in triumph between a roaring crowd:
Only the sad parade of sorrow,
The sounds of pain keening on a carrying breeze.
Your friend’s eyes full of sympathy,
Ears catching your confessing words:
But behind the attentive face
He waits the time
To match your grief with his.

This Is Precious
This is precious.
And, the freshest yet.
The surface is golden,
With more of it...
In it's depth!
Yeah.
This is precious.
And, the freshest yet.
The surface is golden,
With more of it...
In it's depth!
Yeah.
People should be more expressive,
With more of that shown...
From a depth.
Yeah.
People should stop their feeding,
On more nonsense that will upset.
Yeah!
People should spend time finding,
More happiness for them to get.
And forget about a past to sack and pack,
Yeah!
People should be more expressive.
With more of that and from a depth,
Yeah.
People should expand their minds...
But they want to find that which upsets.
Confessing unhappiness and their regrets,
Yeah.
This is precious.
And, the freshest yet.
The surface is golden,
With more of it...
In it's depth!
Yeah.
People should be more expressive.
With more of that and from a depth,
Yeah.
People should expand their minds...
But they want to find that which upsets.
Confessing unhappiness and their regrets,
Yeah.
People should be more expressive.
With more of that and from a depth,

The Same Mother
They each shared
the same mother
shared the same loss of her
when the time came
gave the same
last wave
when she was
driven off
to crematorium
and then grave
but each had
their own mother
whom they shared
with no other
one with whom
they shared
a particular time
or place
sitting quietly
face to face
sharing a secret
or confessing
a deed done
or just
the mother to child meeting
with just the two
at some given time
at some particular place
some given year
to share a problem
or tears or anxieties
or deeper fears
and knowing
she would listen
as only mother's can
or do
sharing the time and love
with each particular
person called you
whether daughter or son
she shared
her equal love and time
and yet each knew her
each thought
they knew her best
and carried away
their own best times
in her company
without the rest
their own moments shared
but deep down
they knew
she had her love for each
and each was equal
to the rest
for she never had
a favourite
nor considered
any one the best
so they all shared
the same mother
in the end
all grieved her going
each in their own way
hoping or believing
they would share her
once again
some better place
some future day.

Return Of The Rat
You better watch out
You better beware
Theyre coming from all sides of the country
You better beware
Return of the rat
No, no, no, no!
You better confess
You had better confess
You start to confess and see them through it
You better confess

Easier On Your Mind
There are things we need to tell,
something we must share,
a failing we have.
The problem is how do we tell them?
Will they push us aside when they know?
These are the questions
that torment us from time to time.
There are no lies attached
in what we have to confess.
Just our shame in what we do.
It’s not easy to tell someone something
they might feel uneasy about.
You need to confess though
as it is good for the soul
and easier on your mind.

Floating
No interest in confessing,
A depressed state of mind...
Others will have no time,
Trying to understand.
And that is understood!
These thoughts I have now...
Are like driftwood.
Seen floating.
As if it is on its own!
Something that had grown attached.
But overtime has become detached...
Released!
And roams disconnected.
Freed from a conformity bred!
Is it dead?
Has it in fact been rejected,
Instead?
Because it shows no life known,
Anyone could say they knew!

In The Chamber
The end is almost here
I am shaking with fear
Trapped inside this hell
I am lost, I'm afraid, it's the truth
The priest has now arrived
And I will not deny
The story of my life
I've betrayed, I confess, it's a shame
Take my life and end my miserable pain
Was it all in vain?
Give me strength to end my time in grace
Can you set me free?
Walking wrapped in chains
Through the chaos of blame
It's pounding in my veins
I'm lost, I'm afraid, it's the truth
Time has arrived
In the chamber I am
There is no return
I've betrayed, I confess, it's a shame

Cojack
Once apon a time I dreamt that you were mine. But I never expected that dream to come true. And now you're in my arms, and we're walking to your home. And all I can think about is you. Hey, do you have to go away just yet? Hey wait I think I really must confess that you looked really good last night. Last night. Last night. We talked about this think that only God could bring into our lonely lives. And you and I've just seen we fit together perfectly. And now I'm doin' alright. Hey, do you have to go away just yet? Hey wait I think I really must confess that you looked really good last night. Last night. Last night. Last night. Last night. Last night. Last night.

Idle Love 05
The day breaks
Night sweeps the land
Calmly at first
The her raven features
Dominate my skin
I beckoned to the moon
Confessing my heart yet again
This time I don’t know how many pieces
Are left to give
So much I left with them
Every person that stepped in
Their eyes said help and I gave in
Touching their heart with careful fingertips
Coaxing their wounds to mend
After the healing was done
I was thrown out time and time again
Knowing the consequence
I still would still bend and try again
Maybe just maybe this time could be it
And I gave myself to him
Let my passion soar and
Put my evil mind to rest
Even so I couldn’t be myself
Couldn’t be wild
Heart lost and soul caged
I couldn’t feel the holes he was burning away
The ones that still sting today
I gave blindly
Idly loving
Praying for a heart to love to understand

Sonnet-220
I here go again with happiness.
It hit me again; how long it has me hit?
Let me confess; my happy time confess.
I`m happy now, and this my tears admit.
Who`d wails some years for moment quick of joy?
But some quick joy after long woe`s delight!
It is a boy no toy and then some toy.
Take toy away, the joy some time stays bright.
I`m happy now and happy let me think.
I could`ve ahead hours of that called sadness.
Let me this happiness to good just link,
So when sadness arrives not turn to madness.
Let me this happy time with gladness shower,
And it gladly do measure by the hour.

Heartsong
Come in
Make yourself at home
Im a bit late
Hate to make you wait
But heart songs
Are still on my mind
Theres never the time
To write down these lines
How can you say
That I dont need you
Just be sure
No more, no less
Let love confess to you
What you must do
Come on
Lets hit the road
Im up to my tricks
I know they seem cold
But heart songs
Are all that I am
I use the same words
To say the same things
How can you say
That I dont need you
Just be sure
No more, no less
Let love confess to you
What you must do
How can you say
That I dont need you
Just be sure
No more, no less
Let love confess to you
No less

Fashion Party
Tonight were gonna have a good time
Oh were really gonna have a good time
Tonight were gonna have a good time
Oh were really gonna have a good time
Confess you look at her
Confess youd like to be with her
Confess you look at her
Confess youd like to be with her
Confess!
Confess you look at her
Baby,
Blue-eyed connie walker
Is a fashion model
Youll lose her
Youll lose her
Blue-eyed connie walker
Is a fashion model
Youll lose her
Youll lose her
Do it/do it/youll do it
Dance yourself mad
Dance yourself mad
Youll like it
Youll like it
Fashion party
Were gonna have a real good time

Abelard cries while he is writing
Far too long the time has been
and although I am looking
all of the time in my thoughts at you,
your image over time is fading,
like a very old painting
and in my thoughts there is disintegration.
The pain cuts right through me
and I must confess
that all of the time I am yearning for you,
even if I can only see you for moments,
I yearn to have you with me
and to hold onto you as my lawful wife.

Trying To Reason With Hurricane Season
By: jimmy buffett
1974
Squalls out on the gulf stream
Big storms comin soon
I passed out in my hammock
And God I slept til way past noon
Stood up and tried to focus
I hoped I wouldnt have to look far
I knew I could use a bloody mary
So I stumbled next door to the bar
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on
Theres somethin about this sunday
Its a most peculiar gray
Strollin down the avenue thats known as a1a
Feelin tired, then I got inspired
I knew that it wouldnt last long
So all alone I walked back home
Sat on my beach and then I made up this song
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But then it cleans me out and then I can go on
Well the wind is blowin harder now
Fifty knots or thereabouts
Theres white caps on the ocean
And Im watchin for waterspouts
Its time to close the shutters
Its time to go inside
In a week Ill be in gay paris
Thats a mighty long airplane ride
Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on
Coda:
Yes it cleans me out and then I can go on
