We are obliged, therefore, to say that whoever speaks that which is foreign to religion is using many words, while he who speaks the words of truth, even should he go over the whole field and omit nothing, is always speaking the one word.
All This Information
All of us seem to walk away from everything
It takes a certain amount of originality to describe this place as home
And all of us seem to walk away from everything
It takes a certain amount of originality to describe yourself as interesting
And all of us seem to walk away from everything
It takes a certain amount of originality to describe yourself as home
All this information that we have to choose from
It means nothing to you
It means nothing to you
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's all so meaningless
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's all so meaningless
All of us seem to walk away from everything
It takes a certain amount of personality to describe yourself as interesting
And all of us seem to walk away from everything
It takes a certain amount of personality to describe yourself as truly truly honest
All this information that we have to choose from
It means nothing to you
It means nothing to you
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's all so meaningless
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's all so meaningless
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's all so meaningless
There's no suggestion that it's needless
When the competition is so needless
It's so needless when things change

Things that are done, it is needless to speak about... things that are past, it is needless to blame.

Things that are done, it is needless to speak about...things that are past, it is needless to blame.
The Poet's Page
All the words that fill a poet's page
can never convey love's feeling.
For all we know and think about love
is only what we're feeling.
The page itself is a bit of relief
as the words spill upon it.
But as the poet spells out the emotion
it seems as if they omit
the deepest and sweetest part of love
that words can never convey.
For the innermost ardor that's everlasting
is too hard for the pen to say.
But say it they must or die inside
and little by little sicken.
And write it they must or never be
able to feel their heart quicken.
And what words can come
that can live through the pain
of unfulfilled love that does remain.
The pen is just an extension
of the brain that's overworked tonite.
Oh that it had the power to bring
to me sweet delight
instead of another lonely,
lonely and empty night.

Love has its own language
The intensity of kisses,
the look in eyes
that burns flaming,
the touch of hands
which is loaded with intensity,
is all without true meaning
if there isn’t love
between partners.
Love has its own language,
that people speak with each other
and at times words are needless:
The silent understanding
of what is going on in the heart,
the gladness and trust
which leaks out of its own accord,
the being together
without having
to touch each other;
says deeper things
without having to use words.

Needless to Say...
Needless to say...
A way of life we wished conveyed,
Is outdated...
As it should be portrayed.
To slay our fellowman,
To get an upper hand...
Does not sit well,
With those 'deities' in command.
And until we understand that...
We will always find ourselves lost in time.
Trapped.
And where we are now isn't about that at all!
Needless to say...
If we continue to disobey,
We will receive...
A devastation we leave!
And it will not be left as life to live!
Without a thing needed then left to say.
Or a way to forgive our transgressions,
None left can say...
There is another day,
They can be handed to another to give!
Needlessly.

There’s Sometimes A Silence
There’s sometimes a silence
hanging pregnant,
a silence that says that something
almost unstoppable is going to happen,
but sometimes words are totally needless
when eyes, mouths and bodies
are talking a own language,
when things turn into making love.

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

Raised to Express
So innocent then,
Were my public aggressions!
My willingness to connect,
All aspects of my identity...
With an outspokenness,
Is not new to me.
Raised to express!
And not to regress...
In needless nonstop guessing.
To do my best,
Is...
Something done I should do first for me.
Raised to express!
And not to regress...
In needless nonstop guessing.
And,
To do my best
Is...
Something done I should do first for me.
Since no one better knows my destiny!
So innocent then,
Were my public aggressions!
My willingness to connect,
All aspects of my identity...
With an outspokenness,
Is not new to me.
Raised to express!
And not to regress...
In needless nonstop guessing.
And,
To do my best
Is...
Something done I should do first for me.
And,
To do my best
Is...
Something done I should do first for me.
Every aspect of my life delights,
Since no one better knows my destiny!
Raised to express!
With no need for nonstop guessing.
Or regress to foolishness.
Since,
No one better knows my destiny!

An Ultimatum To Myrtilla
Ah, Myrtilla mine, you said-
And your tone was earnest, very-
You would never deck your head
With this vernal millinery.
Myrt, to mince no words, you lied;
Oh, that I should live to know it!
You that are my nearly-bride;
I that am your nearly-poet!
For I saw the awful lid
You had on at 10 this morning;
Myrt, it was a merrywid,
Spite of my decisive warning.
Still, I can forgive you that;
Though the thing look ne'er so silly;
I will overlook the hat
If you promise this, Myrtillie:
Wear your lacebelows and fluffs;
Wear the awfullest creations-
But-omit the stylish puffs
And the vogueish transformations.
Myrt, if you inflate your hair
I shall-well-excoriate you,
And, I positively swear,
Loathe, despise, detest, and hate you.
