After I've sent my revised draft to my agent and editor, they suggest more improvement sand again, this revision phase can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months.

All the revision in the world will not save a bad first draft: for the architecture of the thing comes, or fails to come, in the first conception, and revision only affects the detail and ornament, alas!

Which editor? I can't think of one editor I worked with as an editor. The various companies did have editors but we always acted as our own editor, so the question has no answer.
When I'm my own editor, there's very little difference between the first draft and the final. I write what feels right to begin with. I rarely make any major changes.
But for me, being an editor I've been an editor of all kinds of books being an editor of poetry has been the way in which I could give a crucial part of my time to what I love most.

Hard Corps Not Core
As many of us go through life,
There is something that we to want help us through any strife
We feel like need more
This is what led us to be Hard Corps not Core
It made us turn from a boy to a man
As we were made to push up and down in that Paris Island Sand
Too many in this story can be said that they went to Hollywood
But I guess it is still all good
The story goes more like this
To help achieve our only wish
1st Phase us broke down
2nd Phase turned us around
3rd Phase taught how to be mean
Graduation showed the world what it takes to be a Marine

And that's another piece of advice I'll give junior writers; when you get to the point where they take you to lunch, let the editor suggest where to go.

Secret Agent Man
You know I live a life of danger
For the fbi
Keeping tabs on our nation
On the land, on the sea, in the sky
But every single night
Before I go to bed
I get down on my knees
And thank god
Im a secret agent man
* secret agent man
Secret agent man
Theyve given me a number
But theyve taken way my name
I got one hell of a job to perform
For the u. s. of a.
Got the responsibility
Of our nations top security
But every night and day
I salute the flag and say
Thank you jesus
Cause im, Im a secret agent man
( * repeat)
You know they got me doin this
Doin that
And a little bit of something else
Fighting cavities of evil
Safe-guarding americas health
But not an afternoon pass
I dont get up off my ass
Thank you god
Cause im, Im a secret agent man
( * repeat 2 times)
Cause Im a secret agent man

Moments Of Writing Poetry
Draft poems sometimes like
loose ripped off pieces of paper
to be drafted out roughly upon.
Draft poems hang around
in the strangest places waiting
to be written out one day.
Draft poems wait for a poet
to wake at the beginning of day
to be written out, in any
seized moments, sacrificed.
This is now time, shower time, eating time,
reflective time, conversation time, work time;
t.v. time, driving time, riding motorcycle time,
going to sleep time, cooking time, or any time.
Draft poems can only be written
in spared moments of seized time.
Draft poems can only be written today,
they will not wait for fair weather like hay,
which lays around waiting to be harvested.
Draft poems will not wait for a clear sunny day to dawn,
and then mature slowly, over a perfect golden summer.
Draft poems are ever now or never
if they are ever to be swiftly written.
A draft may possibly be perfected
upon any future day of favoured writing;
but a draft never written is a poem
never written, never completed, never known.

Just A Phase
I am bottled fizzy water
And you were shaking me up
You are a fingernail running
Down the chalkboard I thought
I left in third grade
Now my only consolation
Is that this could not last forever
Even though youre
Singing and thinking how well
Youve got it made
Who are you?
And will you be through
Yeah, its just a phase
It will be over soon
Yeah, its just a phase
Yeah, its just a phase
Call it womens intuition
But I think im
Onto something here
Temporaryism has been
The black plague
And the jesus of our age
I know that
I sound opinionated
May be biased and
Quite possibly jaded
But sooner than later
Theyll be throwing quarters
At you on the stage
Who are you?
And will you be through
Yeah, its just a phase
It will be over soon
Yeah, its just a phase
Yeah, its just a phase
And I am waiting for
It to be over too

Re-Birth
You could see him from a distance
at the bus halt he stood motionless.
staring to the infinity.
he waited for the bus for hours and hours
days and months.
he wanted to see his mother
who is going to die very soon.
He saw a lorry came to the halt
full of laborers with instruments
and the overseer explained him that
they are going to put up a Railway line.
He waited for the train
for hours, days and months
at last the train arrived and his sick mother got down.

First cuts are a bitch for a director, because it's been so many months and you put your trust in your editor and you're going to see your film assembled for the first time. You look at it and go, This is terrible. I hate it.

Secret Angent X-9
Got a racecar grin and a calculation
And every gun for a secret agent
Defunct that timebomb at the space station
Hey, Secret Agent X-9 why don't you drop me a line?
And say, would it cost you your job
to say what was in that gold box?
So why did they give you that job?
And why can they give you that job?
You think this guy was on a permanent vacation
But no he's not, he's a secret agent
