Father comes home cos his moneys run out -
Seems a little loose tonight, he starts to shout.
Dinners not on the table, seems mothers not able,
Shes staring at the tv.
You can smell it on his breath, feel it in his touch,
He never meant to hit her hard, but hes like that when hes had too much.
Its just another story bout going too far,

Well the kids at school, shes getting good grades,
But the peer pressures starting now - too bad, she had it made.
Seems theres always someone trying to push you to do something, you know, aint

Adolescence is ill-understood stage!
One’s character is molded in degrees;
Energetic and dangerous too age;
A phase of fun and frolic; work like bees!

All innocently, mostly till adult-
We fight; compete in school and college days!
Sometimes, we love/ hate persons in occult;
We forget blunders; forgive others’ ways!

The learning phase is followed by struggle;

Love life and death

What good work has to do with honorable death?
Why all people should be afraid of laying wreath?
When certain things are bound to happen in any case?
Why to link it with good or bad life phase?

Certain thoughts emerge in one remote corner
Mind is workshop for such place and provide as burner
In youth times it may look little funny and awkward
Yet wise people think ahead of it and look forward

In any religion we pray god for peaceful end
Ask for guidance to lead exemplary with foes and friends
Life means very short phase and should be with little aim
Not building of tall towers and not much to expect or claim

We get puzzled with little set back or bad news
This is how we look at life and sadly view
We all know that it takes course only as destined
Nothing is harmed as thought over or undermined

I pray for bright sun on next day
I also know that darkness may be pushed away
Yet one must be ascertained of what is good or bad?
When you have handed over everything then why to feel sad?

If someone dies, we sand helpless
If someone meets with accident we stand by side with gloom on face
We practically do nothing except feeling powerless
Such is state of life if one tries to find out or trace

Let us not be carried away by hollowness of existence
You may find thousands of ready made instances

A Member Of The Corps

He was small for a Marine,
The dying boy there in the bed.
Three times he'd fought off cancer
but now, inside his head,
a serious infection
would claim his life instead.

Cody Green was only twelve.
All his life he'd loved the Corps.
They made him a navigator,
The insignia he wore.
An honorary soldier

The crises was upon him.
He would not win this fight

There is no mystery, at least not the kind you want. In real life there are no fogbound moors or clues on matchbooks or fifth columnists waiting to be unmasked. it would be nice if here were, because then there would be solutions to things in life, but it doesn't always work that way. Everyone likes a good detective story. I went through my Hammett phase in college. I think the attraction is, in life our mysteries aren't exciting. You know They're just intractable and depressing and enervating. Like, why do we always hurt the ones we love. Where does the money go ...in a detective story, at least the universe makes sense. It was him. He did it. The natural order is disturbed, but the beauty of it is that it's restored again.

When Did You Get Back From Mars?

We never thought that you were gone until we turned the lights on
and spoke to your god but he ain't saying nothing,
except for some thing about your life going to waste in more ways then one
I never liked him anyways
You push it most days when you're young
and then one day they grow up and everyone's wrong
they can't teach you nothing they give you nothing
so you get thinking maybe there's a phase where everyone floats
south in never ending lemonade
Inside of myself, daylight is almost waking up slow and wondering
how sometimes it isn't always good here
What made you go and when did you get back from mars
You circled 'round odd fallen stars and reached out for the lightning
until you were stung until there was a nice ring,
the only right thing so you get thinking maybe in a way
I'll never know for sure the full sad of everyone
And hey, is there anyone known who gets along just great
with everyone on all the days.
