The leader is one who mobilizes others toward a goal shared by leaders and followers... Leaders, followers and goals make up the three equally necessary supports for leadership.

The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born-that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That's nonsense; in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born.

The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born-that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That's nonsense in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born. Failing organizations are usually over-managed and under-led.

The signs of outstanding leadership appear primarily among the followers. Are the followers reaching their potential? Are they learning? Serving? Do they achieve the required results? Do they change with grace? Manage conflict?

What makes a good follower The single most important characteristic may well be a willingness to tell the truth. In a world of growing complexity leaders are increasingly dependent on their subordinates for good information, whether the leaders want to hear it or not. Followers who tell the truth and leaders who listen to it are an unbeatable combination.

Decisive
Be a positive leader,
For positive leaders lead by example;
And my love to you is greater than you can imagine,
Because my positive attitude ia always seen beside you!
Decisive,
Diligent,
Example;
But without followers there are no leaders.

The trouble with the Labour Party leadership and the trade union leadership, they're quite willing to applaud millions on the streets of the Philippines or in Eastern Europe, without understanding the need to also produce millions of people on the streets of Britain.

Plenty Of Shared Lip Service
Those unfamiliar with leadership,
Should not be expected
To understand it.
There are more accustomed,
To being followers.
And it can be annoying,
To hear them whining.
Bickering amongst themselves,
In footsteps from behind.
One who leads,
Hardly sleeps or properly eats.
Thinking of the whole as one entity,
And not several pieces to see pleased.
One who leads,
Had to learn to listen.
And those who have no idea what this means
Often pass judgement,
With a seeking to do it.
At every given opportunity.
Those unfamiliar with leadership,
Should not be expected.
To understand it.
What 'can' be expected from those unaware,
Is plenty of shared lip service.
And a volunteering of their mocked despair.

Ego-centric Growth

Speakers exceed listeners.
Leaders run after followers.
Thanks to ego-centric growth.

Sonnet: Nukes are Satanic Evils
The nuclear arms produce great loss of life,
Destroying structures miles across, tho’ strong!
And leave behind human misery and strife,
That make generations sing woeful song.
Cities can turn incinerators soon!
Diseases kill the future populace;
The soil’s unsafe; who wants the sun or moon?
No one can heal the wounds or even dress.
A button’s press can bring the destruction!
And insane leaders threaten with their nukes;
The ill-effects can affect earth’s function;
Nukes are Satan’s ideas, born like flukes!
Who would destroy the planet made for man?
Yet, earth will go on as per divine plan!
