The Perfect Drug
The perfect drug
I got my head, but my head is unraveling
Cant keep control, cant keep track of where its traveling
I got my heart but my heart is no good
And youre the only one thats understood
I come along but I dont know where youre taking me
I shouldnt go but youre reaching back and shaking me
Turn off the sun, pull the stars from the sky
The more I give to you, the more I die
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You make me hard, when Im all soft inside
I see the truth, when Im all stupid eyed
The arrow goes straight through my heart
Without you everything just falls apart
My blood wants to say hello to you
My feelings want to get inside of you
My soul is so afraid to realize
Every little word is a lack of me
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
(whispering)
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the drug, the perfect drug
Take me, with you
Take me, with you
Take me, with you
(continues in backround)
Without you, without you everything falls apart
Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Without you, without you everything falls apart
Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Without you, without you everything falls apart
Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces

Practice Every Step
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no sleeping for someone who has a place to go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Focus on that goal,
And tighten on your hold,
And...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Every journey taken,
Must be thought of as a race...
And,
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no other way to straighten out a crooked road,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
No matter what you're told,
There will be some doubts and woes...
But you,
Practice every step.
Yes you,
Practice every step.
Woes you hold will eventually go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.

Anonymous sources are a practice of American journalism in the 20th and 21st century, a relatively recent practice. The literary tradition of anonymity goes back to the Bible.
Here, you can walk into a bookstore and pick up a Bible or Christian literature and learn. Over there, they are lucky if they have one Bible for a whole village.

Think About It
I reflect on years past.
Knowing I did try.
I did my best.
I made my mistakes.
And learned from them.
I tried to right the wrongs of my past.
I tried to become the best person I could be.
Not for me though.
For someone I love.
You look as if I said something wrong.
Why is that?
You're a Christian?
I should put myself first?
Where does it say that in the bible?
Oh, mine must be missing that chapter.
I know,
It's called the book of You.
I don't know where it fits in exactly.
But I'm sure You do.
You know everything.
Self before others.
Make God right with Yourself.
Serve others, if the money is good enough.
So if I ask You what the meaning of life is,
You can tell me?
I Love Your Christian talk.
I Love Your Christian walk.
Or should I say strut.
You read the bible?
Well I read you, like a book.
You are about as transparent as a window.
I see through you completely.
Can you see me through your window?
Oh wait.
You are looking into a mirror.
What is the truth?
Your truth, my truth or His truth?
Is God's love tough love?
Or is it us that makes it tough?
My bible is in black and white.
You must have the gray version.
Take the easy way out.
You are only hurting yourself.
Turn the other cheek.
Did Jesus climb off the cross when it hurt too much?
Would You have told him too?
Would You say it's not worth it to him?
Or are You glad He said, “It is done.”?
Think about it!

Love Is The Drug
(ferry/mackay)
Taint no big thing
To wait for the bell to ring
Taint no big thing
The toll of the bell
Aggravated - spare for days
I troll downtown the red light place
Jump up bubble up - whats in store
Love is the drug and I need to score
Showing out, showing out, hit and run
Boy meets girl where beat goes on
Stitched up tight, cant shake free
Love is the drug, got a hook on me
Oh oh catch that buzz
Love is the drug im thinking of
Oh oh cant you see
Love is the drug for me
Late that night I park my car
Stake my place in the singles bar
Face to face, toe to toe
Heart to heart as we hit the floor
Lumber up, limbo down
The locked embrace, the stumble round
I say go, she say yes
Dim the lights, you can guess the rest
Oh oh catch that buzz
Love is the drug im thinking of
Oh oh cant you see
Love is the drug, got a hook in me
Oh oh catch that buzz
Love is the drug im thinking of
Oh oh cant you see
Love is the drug for me

Surprise in Japan - A biblical verse for Japan
Jesus too roams
the streets and lanes of the
Land of the Rising Sun
Land of the Rising Sun
the spirit of Christ too
roams its streets and lanes
the old women read out
a biblical verse to show Japan is
too a 'chosen' country
born again a Christian
in a Japanese
winter pool
I do not know which Christian denomination they were from, but they were quite sincere in spreading the faith. I was walking around a Tokyo departmental store and they approached me, with their Japanese bible in hand. They treated me to an expensive lunch and read out a passage that has the word Sun to show that Japan is too under God's guidance and a chosen country. They even told me to bring more friends to meet up with them in the next meeting.
Another chance meeting with a Christian lady saw myself
baptised as a born again Christian n a winter pool in a Japanese Church.

Drug (It's Just A State Of Mind)
(lebon, rhodes, taylor)
Take me in the morning
Take me every night
Take me when you're feeling low
Take me when you want to stay
Take me,
Take me, take me, take me, take me
Take, take, take, take.
Before you slide into the wide
There's something i want you to know
(what you see is what you want)
In all your stretch of conciousness
You've still got a long way to go
(what you want its what you need)
Some make you spin,
Some make you sweat,
Its only here for you to choose (choose me)
And if you try, an alternative high
Then tell me what have you got to loose now..
Take me every morning
Take me every night
Take me when you're feeling low
Take me when you want to stay - up all night
Up all night
The hit, the hit
The hit to fit reality,
Its just a state of mind
(what you see is what you want)
And you'll admit its more than just an axe that you've got to grind
(what you want is what you need)
We'll make a spin
We'll make you sweat
All you've got to do is use me (use me)
Some like it hot
But i like it wet
So tell me what have we got to lose now..
(chorus)
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
(use me) (use me) (choose me) (choose me) (use me) (use me)
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
A drug, its a drug
(chorus)
Take me every morning
Take me every night
Take me when you're feeling slow
Take me when the mood is right
(chorus)
Take me every morning
Take me every night
Take me when you're feeling slow
Take me when the mood is right
Up all night
(chorus) (mixed until fade..)

It's A Drug
It's a drug
My goodness, is it really?
Yes, it is.
Wow, I'm impressed.
It's got magical powers
Has it really?
What can it do?
It can turn you into a complete slave.
Really, how does it do that?
Well it's a drug.
Really, it's a drug.
Yes it is.
And it's got magical powers
It's very, very powerful
It's incredibly powerful
It has so much power
You wouldn't even believe all the power that it has
Try to imagine how much power this drug has
Can you imagine it?
I'm trying to.
It has turned people into absolute slaves
How does it do that?
Because it's a drug.
Oh I see, it's a drug
Wow, that's impressive. It's a drug
Yes, and drugs have lots of power
Once you start taking a drug you have to keep taking it
For how long?
Forever
Why?
Because it's a drug.
Drugs have lots of power
Wow do they?
Yes, lots and lots of power and once you start taking a drug you must continue
Why is that again?
Because it's a drug. It's very, very powerful
What if you don't believe in the power of the drug?
Then it has no power.

The man I lived with is a Christian, so I would talk to him about it. What would this person do in the Bible? What's the story around this person? Generally, when people talk about characters in the Bible, there's one thing they're known for, like Job.

Armchair Christian
All hail the Armchair Christian!
Pointing out the wrongs of others,
One sin at a time.
Fighting the spiritual battle,
From the comfort of your living room.
Your God is tailor made.
He fits you like a fine custom suit.
You could live a life that's abundant.
You choose to live one that is redundant.
To serve is what you expect from others.
You wear a cloak of self-righteousness.
You can do no wrong Armchair Christian.
You were given the special pass.
Your keenness can detect sin from a mile away.
It's is easy for you.
For you are spotless.
Throwing around scripture like an actor performing on stage.
Saying the lines you feel define the story.
Skipping the scenes you feel do not.
If God needed an Editor for the bible,
You would be him.
For we seek Your wisdom.
You give what you have to.
Not what you can.
That is the job of others.
This is how you put others before self.
Ask not what you can do for your brothers and sisters,
But what they can do for you.
Because you deserve it.
You point out my sins,
But there are 3 fingers pointing back.
This must be a mere formality?
When my judgment comes,
Will you be my counsel Armchair Christian?
You know all the loopholes.
The bible is black and white.
But you make it gray.
Get out of your seat Armchair Christian.
If you're not too busy.

Hard To Handle
Baby here I am and Im a man upon the scene
I can give you what you want, but you got to come home with me
I got a whole lot of good ole loving and I got some in store
When I get through throwin it on to you got to come back for more
Boys and things will come by the dozen
Aint nothin but drug store love
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
Cause mama Im sure hard to handle, now yes I am.
Action speaks louder than words and Im a man with great experience
I know you got another man, but I can love you better than him
Take my hand, dont be afraid Im gonna prove every word I say
Im advertising love for free so wont you place your ad with me?
Boys and things will come by the dozen
Aint nothin but drug store love
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
Give it to me baby, I got to have it, some of your love
Its all I need, early in the morning, late in the evening.
