An Election This Year Or Maybe Next Year

Set-date elections not mentioned in political propaganda,
It could interfere with their tax and spend schedule and agenda,
They will say or do anything to avoid a set-date election,
So all set-date elections are banned to avoid rejection.

This way they can have an election when they feel the time is right,
Because no negative media had recently come to light,
But refugees by the shipload might still arrive by day or night,
Therefore no election at this time and reason to stay out of sight,

How many navy ships will they send out this time to help refugees?
In case their ship might get lost while out on the high seas,
And binding referendums and death with dignity also banned
If we had binding referendums we would be in command.

Franks 2000 Tv

Risin above the city, blocking out the noonday sun
It dwarfs the mighty redwoods and it towers over everyone
I still remember when that delivery truck came down our block
What a lucky guy, I hear he got the last one in stock
And the neighbors are just green
They say, thats the biggest screen weve ever seen!
Its franks 2000 tv (franks 2000 tv)
Everbody come and see(franks 2000 tv)
Franks 2000 tv (franks 2000 tv)
Thats franks remote control, you can look, but dont touch it, please
cause franks the one in charge and he decides what everybody sees
The pictures crystal clear and everything is magnified
Robert deniros mole has got to be ten feet wide
Everybody in the town
Can hear those 90,000 watts of dolby sound
And Im mighty proud to say
Now I can watch the simpsons from thirty blocks away
On franks 2000 tv (franks 2000 tv)
Everybody come and see (franks 2000 tv)
Franks 2000 tv (franks 2000 tv)
Everybody come and see (franks 2000 tv)
Im gonna get one of my own real soon
Its like having a drive-in movie in your own living room
Whoa, hey now... hey now na na na now
Hey now... hey now na na now
Franks 2000 tv (franks 2000 tv)
Everybody come and see (franks 2000 tv)

Got a two year warranty on parts and labor

Election Time!

A series of elections from states to nation
Surely makes all diverted to election only!
People's power is exercised in democracy;
But now money power rules in democracy!

Now the fight is between people and money
The winner decides the fate of the nation!
Corruption is top most dominant force now;
To consolidate its power election has come!

Can corruption be eliminated by laws or will?
Civil society has to come forward to do that!
Will civil society take the lead to do its duty?
Or simply succumb to gimmicks of bureaucracy?

Elections come and people elect someone to power;
But bureaucracy dispenses duties by corruption...!

Making every planet an earth

the wish to be a poet
in Tang Dynasty China
who had written
'1500 years from now
you can have the
literature of the world
at your fingertip the
size of a jade pendant'

the wish to be a poet
2000 years from now
who would write
'the wish to be a poet
of the year 2000 who
had written '2000 years from now
you can make an earth out
of every planet in the solar system'.

2000 Miles

Theres something I need to say
Im not sad youre gone away no way
Wont be calling information
Or waiting at the railway station
You walked out of my front door
I wasnt then but now Im sure
I need to be at least 2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
Had to get me to the church on time
To say that silly I do I do nursery rhyme
Youve been bitching at me for awhile
Say hey now baby dont you cramp my style
Dont go beating me like that
Im glad I wont be coming back
I need to be at least 2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you
2000 miles away from you

Obama Is Still In Office

Magic night,
Magic moment;
303 against 206!
2012 US Presidential Election,
Between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney;
Two, tow! !
And Obama won the election.
Won own!
Obama is still in the Oval office,
For s second term.
Muse, use!
The Democrat and the Republican;
2012 US Presidential Election,
And Obama won the election.
The President needs another four years! !
To fulfil his dreams;
And like the muse of Obama to the world,
303 against 206.
Magic night,
Magic moment,
Obama is still in the Oval office;
For a second term,
Because, he won the election.

2000 Light Years Away

I sit alone in my bedroom
Staring at the walls
Ive been up all damn night long
My pulse is speeding
My love is yearning
I hole my breath and close my eyes and dream about her
Cause shes 2000 light years away
She holds my malakite so tight so...
Never let go
Cause shes 2000 light years away
I sit outside and watch the sunrise
Lookout as far as I can
I cant see her, but in the distance
I hear some laughter,
We laugh together

And on election night I'd go down to city hall in El Paso, Texas and cover the election. In those days, of course, we didn't have exit polls. You didn't know who had won the election until they actually counted the votes. I thought that was exciting too.

Set Date Elections Mar 1st,2011

So we are not going to have an election anytime soon,
We don’t have set-date elections now or during a full moon,
Where referendums and propositions are completely banned,
Are you having a problem with this or don’t you understand?

And proportional representation is banned in first-past-the-post,
Though the combined opposition candidates had many more votes,
And you can’t elect your prime minister using his/her name,
The name on the ballot is a party member – not the same.

And first past the post wins in all our elections,
Proportional representation forbidden and no objections,
There is no doubt about it but that the good guys should win,
And most of the other types should all begin again.

Advice To Mr. Michael Ignatieff

I would vote for you if I could see changes and you showed some gall,
But as far as I can see, you will change nothing at all,
And why can’t I vote for a prime minister by name for a change?
And if that’s the job you want, say that this you will arrange.

You have to offer us an alternative in our present trance,
We need binding referendums and recall and this is your chance,
We need compulsory voting so we have to vote and behave,
Because what you are doing, doesn’t change much or even make waves.

Will the election be timed to the arrival of refugee ships?
Should we send out the navy to help them finish their long trips?
And you don’t know if we are going to have an election yet,
We don’t have set-date elections and you are placing your bet.

Wish List (votes for sale)

It’s election time again
Picture postcards in the mail
Election time again
On every campaign trail
Election time, election time, election time

It’s election time,
A photo opportunity everywhere
Yes election time,
Cleaner streets and cleaner air,
Election time, election time, election time

In every seat across the nation
Never seen so much enthusiasm
So many nice people wanting to shake my hand
Tell me they’ll do all they can
To fill my wish list

It’s election time,
And they’re all promising to do more
Yes election time
Than they did before
Election time, election time, election time

I’d love to have a house by the sea
Handpick my neighbors to suit me
Drive a car on my own road
Free education for young and old
A health system that doesn’t tear at the seems
Throw in world peace by two thirteen (2013)

The future for our children, may hold a little pain
But who’ll bite the bullet, come election time
Election time, election time, election time

The Un and Us Election Nov 2nd,2012

The offensive UN wants to monitor the US election,
They have little groups that may want to make corrections,
They are mostly from dictatorships where bent elections are the norm,
And now they want the US democracy to conform.

They were established to more or less keep peace in the world,
They don't seem to do anything anywhere except in their underworld,
Can't stop those Near-East religious wars or organized crime,
How long have they been doing this? - An awful long time.

Could that UN glass building in New York be closed down?
For at least for a couple of years till they come back around?
They have become a form of madness that we can't recognize,
We have to be politically correct and cannot Americanize.
