In most films music is brought in at the end, after the picture is more or less locked, to amplify the emotions the filmmaker wants you to feel.
We agreed to do it when I was drunk at his house one night, then on the day I had to have four large brandies - they didn't touch the sides at all. People just got on with it though. It didn't gather a crowd!

My cinematographic experience did not leave me any souvenirs, because I was only in very bad films that no one saw! It was better they didn't! In Europe, it is rare for women singers to be in movies. And then, may be that deep within me I didn't really wished to be in movies, for it is my belief that if I really wanted to, I'd be in the movies. I firmly believe that everybody is able to realise what their wishes, provided that they really want to.
It's only been a couple of times in my life that I've really locked horns with actors. It did not hurt the films, it just hurt the moment of the filmmaking.

There are two types of films - one made by the big-time producers, the other is low budget stuff made by some producers who make films for the heck of it, they complete their films for small amounts, sell it at low costs with almost no publicity.
