My father being in the movie business, I thought being an actor would be great. But when I started singing to people in coffeehouses, you know, singing folk music and then, later, singing songs that I started to write myself, I felt more than an affinity for it.

Happy Birthday Robert Zimmerman
One of music's legends is Seventy One today
he was born Robert Allen Zimmerman
better known as Bob Dylan to the rest of us
a poet, a songwriter, actor, painter and a musician.
He's written some classic songs over the years
and he has inspired so many artists along the way
he started out writing and singing in the sixties
and he is still performing around the world today.
His voice is unique and it's one of a kind
you know it's Dylan by it's pitch and tone
singing Mr Tambourine Man, Blowin in the Wind,
The Times they are a Changin, and Like a Rolling Stone.
His music is a mixture of Folk, Rock, and the Blues,
but if you want some poetry then Dylan's your man
he's like Shakespeare with a guitar in his hand
and I bet if the Bard was alive today he'd be a big fan!

Music My Love
'Music my love, singing in heart repletes
I swear on my singing you too love it
My notes, my scales, singing my choice, my taste
When I go on singing sure for repeats
Listen to my singing closing your eyes
Honour you my singing with mind open
And you to my singing you ears sharpen
Never to my singing should you despise'
'Oh me to your singing I close my eyes
And me to your singing with mind open
I pray as your singing in heart repletes
And mine to your singing ears do depise
Not mine but yours, singing not to happen
Music your love, singing yours no repeats'

Singing All Day
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing,
Oo, my, my, my,
Oo, my, my, my.
Went down to the station to look for her there,
Looked through the crowds for a glimpse of her hair,
Nothing to see but the crowds keep a-staring at me,
My, my,
Oo, my, my, my.
Down in the street, tryn to remember,
Shuffling my feet outside a menswear,
Is that her in the fur coat?
No its not december yet,
My, my, my,
Oo, my, my, my.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing.
Back to the house, maybe shell phone me,
Singing my song, feeling so lonely.
Ill sing very softly, so if the phone rings
I can hear it, I can hear it.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing.
Singing all day, singing 'bout nothing,
Oo, my, my, my,
Oo, my, my, my.

A Song For You
(leon russell)
Ive been so many places
In my life and time
Ive sung a lot of songs
I made some bad rhymes
Ive acted out my life in stages
Ten thousand people watching
But were alone now
Im singing this song for you
I know your image of me
Is what I hope to be
I treated you unkindly
But darling cant you see?
Theres no-one more important to me
Oh, baby, cant you please see through me?
cause were alone now and
Im singing this song for you
You taught me precious secrets
Of the truth withholding nothing
You came out in front
I was hiding
Oh, but now Im so much better
If the words dont come together
Just listen to the melody
cause my love in there hiding
Ooh, ooh
Oh, I love you in a place
Where theres no space or time
Love you for my life
You are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and
I was singing this song for you
We were alone
I was singing this song for you, oh
Singing
I was singing, singing, singing, singing, singing this song for you
Oh, yes
Singing this song for you

I started singing for The Phantom in January, and we started filming in October and I sang all the way through to the next June. In fact, I was singing for about two months before I even knew I had the role.

I started singing about three years ago, I entered a local singing competition called Stratford Idol. The other people in the competition had been taking singing lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn't taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house. I was only 12 and I got second place.

Michael Jackson Is Great
Michael Jackson accomplished a lot when he was alive,
he started out singing in the Jackson 5.
Michael had the groove and the beat,
he made songs that got you off your feet.
He also made songs that made you think.
Now Michael was a Pisce's moon
he had a great imagination and great heart big heart too.
Thank You Michael Jackson for the happiness you brought
You made the planet happier singing songs to dance to on the spot.
Many great memories for people learning to dance the moon walk.
and my fondest memory dancing at The Cottage

Singing The Blues
well i never felt more like singing the blues
cause i never thought
that i'd ever loose your love, dear
why'd you do me this way
well i never felt more like crying all night
cause everything's wrong
and nothing ain't right without you
you got me singing the blues
the moon and stars no longer shine
the dream is gone i thought was mine
there's nothing left for me to do
but cry over you
well, i i never felt more like running away
but why should i go
cause i couldn't stay without you
you got me singing the blues

I Hear America Singing
I Hear America singing, the varied carols I hear;
Those of mechanics--each one singing his, as it should be, blithe and strong;
The carpenter singing his, as he measures his plank or beam,
The mason singing his, as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work;
The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat--the deckhand singing on the steamboat deck;
The shoemaker singing as he sits on his bench--the hatter singing as he stands;
The wood-cutter's song--the ploughboy's, on his way in the morning, or at the noon intermission, or at sundown;
The delicious singing of the mother--or of the young wife at work--or of the girl sewing or washing--Each singing what belongs to her, and to none else;
The day what belongs to the day--At night, the party of young fellows, robust, friendly,
Singing, with open mouths, their strong melodious songs.

Please Don't Pass Me By (A Disgrace)
I was walking in New York City and I brushed up against the man in front of
me. I felt a cardboard placard on his back. And when we passed a streetlight,
I could read it, it said "Please don't pass me by - I am blind, but you can
see - I've been blinded totally - Please don't pass me by." I was walking
along 7th Avenue, when I came to 14th Street I saw on the corner curious
mutilations of the human form; it was a school for handicapped people. And
there were cripples, and people in wheelchairs and crutches and it was snowing,
and I got this sense that the whole city was singing this:
Oh please don't pass me by,
oh please don't pass me by,
for I am blind, but you can see,
yes, I've been blinded totally,
oh please don't pass me by.
And you know as I was walking I thought it was them who were singing it, I
thought it was they who were singing it, I thought it was the other who was
singing it, I thought it was someone else. But as I moved along I knew it was
me, and that I was singing it to myself. It went:
Please don't pass me by,
oh please don't pass me by,
for I am blind, but you can see,
well, I've been blinded totally,
oh please don't pass me by.
Oh please don't pass me by.
Now I know that you're sitting there deep in your velvet seats and you're
thinking "Uh, he's up there saying something that he thinks about, but I'll
never have to sing that song." But I promise you friends, that you're going
to be singing this song: it may not be tonight, it may not be tomorrow, but
one day you'll be on your knees and I want you to know the words when the
time comes. Because you're going to have to sing it to yourself, or to

A Song For You

Baby, baby, cant you see through me, cause were alone now
And Im singing this song to you, you taught me precious secrets
Of a true love withholding nothing, you came out in front
When I was hiding, yeah, yeah, but now its so much better
If my words dont quite come together, please listen to the melody
cause my love is in there somewhere hiding
I love you in a place where there is no space or time, I love you for my life
You are a friend of mine, and when my life is over
Remember, remember, remember when we were together
And we are alone now, and I was singing this song to you
We were alone, and I was singing, yeah singing
We were alone, and I was singing this song for you
Singing my song, Im singing my song for you

2000 Miles
Shes gone 2000 miles
Its very far
The snow came down
Gets colder day by day
I miss her
I hear children singing
Felt like Christmastime
In these frozen and silent nights
Sometimes in a dream... you appear
Outside under the purple sky
Diamonds in the snow... sparkle
Our hearts were singing
It felt like Christmastime
2000 miles
Is very far through the snow
Ill think of you
Wherever you go
2000 miles
Its very far through the snow
Ill think of you
Whenever you go
Shes gone 2000 miles
Its very far
The snow came falling down
Gets colder day by day
I miss you
I hear people singing
It felt be christmastime
I heard people singing
It felt be christmastime
I heard people singing
It felt like Christmastime
I heard people singing
It felt like Christmastime

I'm a singing rainbow
When my eyes are blue
I’m a sky-spelled beam of Heaven
Singing icons of beauty
Brown
I’m an autumn singing
Falls of leaves to the ground
Yellow
I’m millions of suns
Singing rays of warmth
Green
I’m a throbbing rainforest
Singing fibers of creation
Violet
I’m a tiny flower singing
Strength of growth
Rad
I’m a blood-spelled shade of Light
Singing peace of darkness
When my eyes are empty
I’m a singing rainbow
