It is like visiting one's funeral, like visiting loss in its purest and most monumental form, this wild darkness, which is not only unknown but which one cannot enter as oneself.

The Visiting Aunts
This is a memory from my childhood, when I was about Nine years old.
The visiting Aunts have come through the door,
They haven't been here for six months or more,
Their presence is such an incredible bore,
Well I think so!
The visiting Aunts are so out of date,
I soon noticed that when they came through the gate,
Their dresses date back to nineteen-o-eight,
Well I think so!
The visiting Aunts have kisses that smother,
With whiskery chins as one will discover,
Each one is just as bad as the other,
Well I think so!
The visiting Aunts look all around our place,
Tutting and waving their hands, so the lace
Which encircles their wrists shakes a pace,
Why don't they go!
The visiting Aunts are staying to tea,
They're both very fat and will eat more than me,
There'll be nothing left, just you wait and see,
I told you so!
The visiting Aunts they gossip away,
About this and that and 'not in our day',
They never will listen to what others say,
I really feel low!
The visiting Aunts say it's a disgrace,
The way I'm allowed to get dirt on my face,
And go running around with an undone shoelace,
Well, I can't tie a bow!
The visiting Aunts have had 'forty winks',
Mother had said they will go soon, she thinks,
They're both motionless like a couple of sphinx,
Why don't they go!
The visiting Aunts are off down the lane,
Thank goodness they've gone now, they're really a pain, .
I hope that they never visit again,
Please, days go slow!

Hurricane Sandy
Hurricane Sandy on a worldwide tour
Visiting cities and knocking on every door
Visiting hills and dales
In his wake torrential rain and gales
No intention to wreak devastation
Yet he and his family are feared by all nations
Leaving helpless, animals and humans alike
Destroying cars, homes and your precious bike
Sandy follows his sister Katrina
casting ashore boats and ships from the sea and marina
when he departs to places unknown
victims shuffle in disbelief..still in their dressing gown.

The Suit
The Suit
After the surgery my son come visiting
he had brought a dark suit along, hung
it in my wardrobe, said he had brought
it along in case we went to a party.
A fortnight later he flew back home but
left the suit behind so he didn’t have
to bring one next time he came visiting.

Cashing God
the earnestness to seek god
as if he is one's own
the only one for oneself
so that one could feel his wonder
without any preconceived idea
if he ever comes visiting - is religion
every life is a cheque written out by God
and cashing it needs one's own signature
untempered!

We Are Just Visiting
We are just visiting, this is not home,
we are always connected the source
we are not alone.
We are here to create God,
yes, I said it, I said it out loud.
God gave us free will and
we are body, mind and spirit,
so let’s bring them together and use it.
Since we are just visiting,
we should take better care,
care of planet Gaia while we are here?

While Nature In The Spring Is Flowering (Cavatina)
While nature in the spring is flowering
something is there,
is visiting the broken earthly sphere
and everywhere
there are signs of a divine presence
coming with care
and in the sheer purest loveliness,
we see something that God's love does possess.

Quicker Than a Wick
Those days that come,
With a visiting from darkness.
Seem to stay with us forever,
When we are young.
And too impatient to wait,
For our dreams to come true.
Some young people become distant,
And disrespectful.
With a doing of things regretted.
When days thought long and went on and on,
To become compared to minutes lived...
When aging done seems like a race to the finish line.
And those days that come with a visiting...
From darkness seem to remind us,
Our stay in the present days...
Are not for us in a foreverness to be remembered.
When we are young and many adventuresome...
And too impatient to wait,
For our dreams to come true.
Some sat in a brooding.
Not knowing what to do.
But choose to be insolent.
And then they do! Come true. Those dreams.
Although...
We seldom do realize it.
Until we've matured and reflect upon what has visited.
And why we were so concern to rush through a life,
Quicker than a wick can burn through wax...
To provide the darkness to be the canvas,
Of etched shadows cast.
To eventually end the flickering,
Of candlelight to leave silent our voices.

In Paying Homage To The Loss
i pay homage to a loss
what i give is mourning
i wear black
it is a dark night that i wear
no sooner that i realize
tonight
i become the moon
i shine
i go with the immensity of my light
covering the trees
and the plains
this homage will not last
it is just a respect
for a loss
no loss stays in my house longer
it dislikes my candid disposition
for i tell it myself
i, too welcome gain in my dwelling
success that comes visiting
assuring me
that i, too, deserve one.

Death of Their Realities
Where are they?
All of them are late.
'We left them arguing,
With the psychiatrists! '
About what?
'They insist upon a cure.
Demanding it!
They've been conditioned to believe,
Anything is possible! '
But they are going to miss the funeral.
And soon we will leave for the burial ceremony.
'They are in denial.
Not one of them will listen.
They have refused to put down their weapons.
And hold the psychiatrists and everyone in the building,
As hostages!
The Chief of police has already declared the area as 'toxic'!
And even he is at a loss.
This has never been encountered before.
He now regrets his being the grand marshall,
At the last parade when he appeared as The Wizard of Oz.'
It is unfortunate they can not accept,
The death of their realities.
'Yeah...
This looks as if it will be a very long standoff.
They request an appearance of Superman,
Since many of them say they have proof...
They are citizens visiting from Gotham City.'

Modern Dukes
Every time that I turn around
I just see the same old thing
Beg to try and to bring me back
To the place I couldn't keep
But I'm an asshole
Storm the castle
Burn the bridges
Down to the ground
Take no prisoners
We're just visiting
We don't care about anything
Thats the way these modern dukes will go
It's every man here for himself
Every time that I turn around
I just see the same old crap
Trucks are trying to grease the wheels
So that they can get laid back
But I'm an asshole
Storm the castle
Burn the bridges
Down to the ground
Take no prisoners
We're just visiting
We don't care about anything
That's the way these modern dukes will go
It's every man here for himself
I'm an asshole
Storm the castle
Burn the bridges
Down to the ground
Take no prisoners
We're just visiting
We don't care about anything
I'm an asshole
Storm the castle
Burn the bridges
Down to the ground
Take no prisoners
We're just visiting
We don't care about anything
That's the way these modern dukes will go
It's every man here for himself

In each and every new day
In each and every new day,
even when I have feelings of gloom
when life takes loved ones away
You are still visiting me in my room.
When I see the morning sun rising
over fields where wild flowers bloom
in a hot sunny day
I know your hand is at play.

Purest Feeling
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Well I think Im gonna push it
As far as it will go
Give in to desire
Only you will know
So tell me all your secrets
Ill stick it in your head
I wish I could remember
Everything she said
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Well she could be a saviour
With everything she does
Or some kind of punishment
For people just like us
I dont really believe she understands
Whats happening to me
The sooner that she gets it
The better it will be
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
Purest feeling
I have got to figure it out
I just want to know
I cant live with it
Purest feeling

Who's Groove
Robo who, robo gone, robo what, robo one
Robo where, robo never, robo why, robo clever
Robo hi, robo ho in the sky, robo no
Robo who, robo gone, robo what, robo one
Robo where, robo never, robo why, robo clever
Robo hi, robo ho in the sky, robo no
Waiting for the robo
I'm a universal hobo
I'm a skinny little creature
Will he turn into a feature
Only visiting the planet
That i'm pushing to a circle
Only robo makes me rub it all (?)
The walls where it begun (?)
Visiting your planet
For a few thousand days
Nothing to hide
No reason to stay
Breathless at the end of my run
It all ends where it begun
Robo who, robo gone, robo what, robo one
Robo where, robo never, robo why, robo clever
Robo hi, robo ho in the sky, robo no
Robo who, robo gone, robo what, robo one
Robo where, robo never
Waiting for the robo

Whatever makes me run?
Has anybody ever seen the end?
Here is where it begun

You And I (And Two Football Teams)
you and i
met not long ago
you and i
were a thing of love
we were idolized by all
then the day came
you cheated on me
with the football team
what happened?
to you and i?
i didnt expect you to do this
i let my guard fall
and now as the open woulds bleed through
my heart cant take any more
but as the days go on without you
the wounds do not close
do not heal
my heart weakens more and more
then i heard
you slept with the visiting football team
the same night
as you slept with our home team
i cant take this anymore
you betrayed me
and our home football team
you slept with the visiting team
this is the final blow to my heart
as i walk into your house
i load my nine
i walk into your room
and look you in the eye
despite the other 3 men there
i empty my entire clip
into your slim tan body
i save one bullet
to end my hearts pain
the other 3 men
long gone now
i am now with you
and you are
with only me
we ended up together
yet again
just you and i
