Nowadays, in the contract that actors sign, you have to agree that you're going to do a certain amount of publicity-the hard part they don't pay you for.

If the label presents them with a contract that the band don't want to sign, all the label has to do is wait. There are a hundred other bands willing to sign the exact same contract, so the label is in a position of strength.

A good businessman never makes a contract unless he's sure he can carry it through, yet every fool on earth is perfectly willing to sign a marriage contract without considering whether he can live up to it or not.

The thing about film-making is I give it everything, that's why I work so hard. I always tell young actors to take charge. It's not that hard. Sign your own cheques, be responsible.

Workin For Mca
(ed king - ronnie vanzant)
Seven years of hard luck, comin down on me
From the florida border, yea up to nashville tennessee
I worked in every joint you can name, mister every honkytonk
Along come mr yankee slicker, sayin maybe youre what I want
(chorus)
Want you to sign your contract
Want you to sign today
Gonna give you lots of money
Workin for mca
9000 dollars, thats all we could win
But we smiled at the yankee slicker with a big ol southern grin
Theyre gonna take me out to california gonna make me a superstar
Just pay me all of my money and mister maybe you wont get a scar
(chorus)
Suckers took my money since I was seventeen
If it aint no pencil pusher, it got to be a honkytonk queen
But Ill sign my contract baby, and I want you people to know
That every penny that I make, Im gonna see where my money goes
(chorus)

It's Hard To Be Me
You see me everywhere, in my underwear
You may wonder what I'm here to sell
But underneath my stare, I'm so naked there
There are secrets I'm dying to tell
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me; It's Hard to be Me
I am up here alone, on my glamorous throne
Want to thank all you people down there
I was once an unknown, like you but I've grown
I have so much I'm hoping to share
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me, It's Hard to be Me
I guess you think that it's hard for you
Walking 'round in your little shoes
You don't know how I've sacrificed
To live this life, to look so nice
It's Hard to be Me
Nobody knows what it's like to be
The envy of mediocrity
If you could see
All my depth and complexity
I'd think you'd agree
It's Hard to be Me, It's Hard to be Me
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me

Marriage Contract
Marriage contract was eaten by Judge’s cow
Still every night you give away golden key
Golden colour of the keys gather rust day by day
Our dreams also become fade gradually
Leaves of the contract move in the belly of Kazi’s cow
Eyes of you and mine reads ancient history
Come, let’s sign a new marriage contract
So that I become your and you mine
The leaves of life oscillate in water
Pain-stricken mind destroys all the pains.

Killing Machine
I never give no answers, I never tell no lies
I never walk a straight line so I never get surprised
I dont ask no favors so I wont get abused
I learned to win when I was young
So Im never ever gonna lose
They pay me the money and Ill do the job
I got a contract on you
I got a contract, on you
I never ask no questions, I never speak my mind
I always found that silence helps to keep me and my kind alive
I take care of business, it takes care of me
I look after myself and do it well
cause somebodys always looking for me
They pay me the money and Ill do the job
I got a contract on you
I got a contract on you
What manner of man am i?
A gun, lump sum and then I move on
What manner of man are you?
Stab a friends back to jump a queue
I do what I do cos I cant do nothing better
You do what you do, just defendin yourself
cos you aint got nothin better to do
I got no place, no name, Im just a killing machine
I kept the population down, if you know what I mean
I never stop in one place, I move about the cities
Got expensive tastes, but I hasten to add that
Im the best that there is
They pay me the money and Ill do the job
I got a contract on you
I got a contract on you
I got a contract on you
I got a contract on you

There is a strange pecking order among actors. Theater actors look down on film actors, who look down on TV actors. Thank God for reality shows, or we wouldn't have anybody to look down on.

All actors do that. Should do that and do that. For the most part. I say all actors. I'm exaggerating, but you know who does and who doesn't. Vince is a wonderful young actor who knows his work and did a beautiful job on this film.
