""Empathy"" is the latest code word for liberal activism, for treating the Constitution as malleable clay to be kneaded and molded in whatever form justices want. It represents an expansive view of the judiciary in which courts create policy that couldn't pass the legislative branch or, if it did, would generate voter backlash.

Backlash Blues
Langston hughes, nina simone
Mr. backlash, mr. backlash
Just who do think I am
You raise my taxes, freeze my wages
And send my son to vietnam
You give me second class houses
And second class schools
Do you think that alla colored folks
Are just second class fools
Mr. backlash, Im gonna leave you
With the backlash blues
When I try to find a job
To earn a little cash
All you got to offer
Is your mean old white backlash
But the world is big
Big and bright and round
And its full of folks like me
Who are black, yellow, beige and brown
Mr. backlash, Im gonna leave you
With the backlash blues
Mr. backlash, mr. backlash
Just what do you think I got to lose
Im gonna leave you
With the backlash blues
Youre the one will have the blues
Not me, just wait and see

Generator
We generate heat
We generate emotion
We generate a feeling
That is better left here
Than a memory on a wall
I'd rather cry than forget you
We generate pain
We generate suspicion
We generate a rumour that's sick
But a rumour that is probably true
I'd rather die than forget you
(i won't let my dreams slip away from me)
I'm talking sex motion
I'm talking 'bout fashion
I'm talking 'bout skin games
I'm talking 'bout secrets
(and i won't let my heart run away with me)
I'm talking temptation
I'm talking 'bout memories
I'm talking 'bout feelings
I'm talking 'bout emotion
We generate lies
We generate pictures
We generate a video film
That i couldn't let my best friend see
I'd rather lose than forgive you
We generate shame
We generate secrets
We generate a reason for living
And we generate a reason for not
I'd rather hurt than forget you
I can't believe that i'm here
I can't believe what i've seen
I can't believe what i'm doing to you

How Is Life Treating You?
Some one asked...
'How is life treating you? '
I thought about that,
And couldn't help but feel blessed...
Grateful with a thankfulness
My mind and body are both intact
And healthy!
So I replied...
'I am treating life with my best efforts!
And we are both enjoying each other's company!
That's the way I see it!
How is life treating you? '

Clay Thoughts!
there are some hard truths,
we often fail to believe
rather we succeed to forget
we are made of clay....
yes clay, i mean it
molded to be a wonder called human
still u feel reluctant to walk barefoot
feeling the mud itself is dirty for you! !
i am no exception
the extreme of identity crisis
the thought that disturbs u and me
we are clay

This has not been a legislative process worthy of the Senate. Members of the Judiciary Committee, as I just said, were implored to save their amendments for the floor. Then, when we got here, we were told no amendments could be accepted.

Return of a Man
Return of a man who spent his holiday
Resulted in purges and monuments of way;
The man who lunched in an Autumn
Is bringing peace in the form of food and activism.
He caught his peace and won,
Without union or priesthood or abdication.
The destroyers are some who work on it,
Then peace reasserts itself with a benefit.
Peace has come, peace has won,
We live in wait for the man who can deafen;
He described our faith as an union,
With it there is none, with us is a constitution.

Loopholes (Free Verse)
Arizona citizens known as we the people
Did not want to pass the current laws in
Question…The legislative branch of government
Are thus known as individuals and have no
Right to create laws that the People are against…
Furthermore…The laws enacted are in violation
Of the Welfare clause of the Preamble in which
Is known as The People…In which agricultural
Crops and other jobs that depend on emigrants
For the welfare of The People who depend on
Said emigrants as essential to the welfare and
Pursuit of Happiness of The People… Thus any
state whom is not in accord with The People are
in violation of stated Clauses of The Preamble…

Last year, I was proud to be an original co-sponsor of legislation that would increase federal judges' salaries by more than 40 percent. It also built in a cost of living adjustment, so the Judicial Branch would not be dependent on the Legislative Branch for increases each year.

Word Up
Oh
Yo pretty ladies around the world
Got a weird thing to show you
So tell all the boys and girls
Tell your brother, your sister and your mamma too
We're about to go down
And you know just what to do
Wave your hands in the air like you don't care
Gilde by the people as they start to look and stare
Do your dance, do your dance, do your dance quick mamma
Come on baby tell me what's the word
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Now all you sucker DJ's who think you're fly
There's got to be a reason and we know the reason why
You try to put on those airs and act real cool
But you got to realise that you're acting like fools
If there's music we can use it
Be free to dance
We don't have the time for psychological romance
No romance, no romance, no romance for me mamma
Come on baby tell me what's the word
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
