Well, it was actually - I brought the idea of doing a documentary to HBO back in 2000, when there were some press reports sort of were bandied about that there were going to TV movies based on some of the books that were out.

The Inspector General issued six reviews and reports on actions taken based on provisions of the act. In those six reports, the IG found that not one violation of an individual's civil liberties - a total of zero - had taken place since the act was instituted.
There are some people that the press like to pick on and not just the gay press, but the press in general. And some people, the press just doesn't care about at all.

Nixon, who spent much of his career attacking the press and saying he was a victim of the press, was in fact created by the press, in this case the L.A. Times.

Sections Of A Book
This section deals with politics,
And this one economics.
I am a book of longevity,
Inexact and imprecise,
Like people who want long life.
They decide with self-interests,
As volumes are written on them.
Reports form hold on information
That came from longevity,
Loathing some of the reports
As politicians argue with economists
To form some new empire
In which we live and work
In happiness.

We suggest you probably hang up the phone,
Beat the ass of any white guys you hung out with last night
and find and destroy all photos before they appear on the internet.
Thank you for calling.
Good luck.

Some of the press who speak loudly about the freedom of the press are themselves the enemies of freedom. Countless people dare not say a thing because they know it will be picked up and made a song of by the press. That limits freedom.

Press
Darling, I love you very, very, very much,
And I really am relying on your touch.
But with all these people listening in,
I dont know where I ought to begin.
Maybe we could hit upon a word,
Something that the others havent heard,
When you want me to love you,
Just tell me to press.
Right there, thats it. yes. when you feel the stress
Dont just stand there, tell me to press.
You can give me what I want I must confess,
My body needs attention my mind is in a mess,
Oklahoma was never like this.
Never like this, it was never like this,
Ever like this, say was it ever like this?
Oklahoma was never like this.
It was never like this ...
Darling, I know it really wouldnt be a crime,
If I say I want to lnve you all the time.
But with all these people listening in,
I dont know where I ought to begin.
Maybe we should have a secret code,
Before we both get ready to explode.
When you want me to love you,
Just tell me to press. press ...
Right there, thats it. yes.
When you feel the stress,
Dont just stand there.
Wont you tell me to press?

A Pessimistic Forecast
It is indeed a bleak winter
While reports of war and famine
Disaster and unemployment
Ring out from the pages of the press
The skies hang grey, cold and haunting
What would we not give now
For some happy news, some sun to shine
There seems little to shout about
Little hope to be heard from anywhere
Anger and frustration ebbs outward
As goverments fall and industry fails
The finger of blame points out
At the greed of those once trusted
To protect the wealth of states
Instead robbed the poor of a future hope
The nights grow colder
And the impoverished freeze
And all that is heard or spoken
That tomorrow shall bring
A pessimistic forecast
