Straight To The Man
Saying this revalation, call delia station
An initiation, all youd better beware
Wholl cast the first stone?
Skin to the bone, bring it all on home, bring it on for jerome
So, new castle, build a brand new castle, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Straight to the man
On an island of traders, you know theyre tryin to fade ya
No-one can train you, no-one evade you, no-one can fade you
Saying dont be late, no, the train wont wait
Saying dont be late, no, the boat cant wait
Saying dont be late, no, the train nor
The boat or the train cant wait, yeah
Do the do, do the do, do the do do
Do the do, do the do do do
Do the do, do the do do do do do do do do
The, heading straight for the man
Oh, you know theyll never evade you
So now I stand here, love cuts down a revolver
Am stern damn in sodom and gomorrah
So Im singing to king stone, your teaching its on
They say its a fable, though I was made able
I slipped through the net, wanna bet its a ramble, a sandstorm
One slip you dont ever forget, who could ever forget?
You know I never forget
Straight to the man
Oh, you know theyre trying to fade you
Saw this revalation, call delia station
I don;t need no powder, one kinder, easy blind ya

Over Now
Good night...
Yeah, its over now, but I can breathe somehow
When its all worn out, Id rather go without
You know its been on my mind
Could you stand right there
Look me straight in the eye and say
That its over now
We pay our debt sometime
Well its over now, yet I can see somehow
When its all gone wrong, its hard to be so strong
You know its been on my mind
Could you stand right there
Look me straight in the eye and say
That its over now
We pay our debt sometime
Yeah, we pay our debt sometime
We pay our debt sometime
Yeah, we pay our debt sometime
Guess its over now, I seem alive somehow
When its out of sight, just wait and do your time
You know its been on my mind
Could I stand right here
Look myself in the eye and say
That its over now
We pay our debt sometime
Yeah, we pay our debt sometime
We pay our debt sometime
Yeah, we pay our debt sometime

Every American born today owes $43,000 to the federal government the day she or he is born. And we are transferring a tremendous amount of debt to the new generation, much of it owed to overseas creditors who expect to be repaid by our children with interest.
This debt crisis coming to our country. The wall and tidal wave of debt that is befalling our nation. Get Away
Get Away
You ask me how I stay the same
After I'd seen everything
Could be the company I keep
You say I've got something you need
But what I have I just can't sell ya
Cause my experience runs deep
You wanna be a brave man
But you just can't face your fear
You only know what you can do
You say get away from
Just get away
Just get away
Cause I might tell you something
You think the world owes you a debt
And they should hand you your success
But you won't find it on tv
You cry about the luck you've had
You wear your bruises like a badge
You won't heal until you're willing
So now you think you need my help
But you're just to scared to ask
We'll I've been scared before my friend
Get way from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Cause I might tell you something
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Cause I might tell you something
Get way from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
I might tell you something
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Cause I might tell you something
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Cause I might tell you something
Something something something anything I'll tell ya
Something something something
Get way from me
Just get away from me
Just get away from me
Cause I might tell you something

Remembering Grandpa
grandpa was strict
i remember
for a Red Cross Donation
that i asked from him
and which he considers
as my debt
he did not forget
to remind me and
thus collect
i was then 12 and he
was 60
i was disappointed but
he did not mind
a debt is a debt and must
be paid
the years may have buried
him for good
but the memory of a debt
paid still lingers
the numbers are clear
as always
some words may have faded
but the feeling
sticks like a scar
in my face....

Brooklyn
A race of angels
Bound with one another
A dish of dollars
Laid out for all to see
A tower room at eden rock
His golf at noon for free
Brooklyn owes the charmer
Under me
His ladys aching
To bring a body down
She daily preaches
On where she wants to be
An evening with a movie queen
A face we all have seen
Brooklyn owes the charmer
Under me
A case of aces
Done up loose for dealing
A piece of island cooling in the sea
The whole of time we gain or lose
And power enough to choose
Brooklyn owes the charmer
Under me

In the white collar
In the white collar
Of the lowly sparrow
Puts me to mind of the priest
And the flying nun
I use to watch on b & w t v
T V outs me to mind
Patty Duke
And the twins
My sister and brother
Family raised in a cruel year
My brother puts me to mind
Of the men I call family
The gays met at the bar
The bar puts me to mind
Of the men I took home
Just for once for a night of joy
Joy puts me to mind
Of the time I expressed with setime puts me to mind
That now I am old
And self assured
In the way I go.
