What troubles me is the Internet and the electronic technology revolution. Shyness is fueled in part by so many people spending huge amounts of time alone, isolated on e-mail, in chat rooms, which reduces their face-to-face contact with other people.

Chat Room For Lonely People
Thoughts are the very essence
Of human existence
Even though they sometimes create discord
Whether you express them via your vocal cords
Or through your keyboard
When you are bored.
Didn't folks used to have rooms
Called drawing rooms?
But now all that is left
Is our 'privacy' of which we are bereft.
So, instead of drawing rooms
We have chat rooms
For lonely people
Who would like to chat with friendly people.

I really love the internet. They say chat-rooms are the trailer park of the internet but I find it amazing.

We The Electronic
See us on the underground
Packed up in our sardine cans
Tailor made with suits and shades
Lipstick teeth and waxwork hands
Electronic, we're electronic
Jumping on conveyor belts
Escalators in our heads
Programmed for another day
Talking to a faceless friend
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic
Electronic
Hear the ticking in our beds
Find the balance in our heads
Wishing we could make a change
See the morning coming in
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic
Electronic
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic
Electronic
Electronic, so moronic
We're electronic, we the electronic

Second, we're spending a huge amount of money on technology so that everyone can check out laptops and portable phones. We're spending more money to write our existing information into databases or onto CD-ROM.
The new information technology... Internet and e-mail... have practically eliminated the physical costs of communications.

He Created Me
You strive for the creation to exist
Like your making and power to enlist.
You eat in huge amounts of peace,
Yet is there trouble to cease?
He who creates peace in huge amounts
Is in a slumber, is in an eternity to announce.

Isolated
There are days when you feel,
you’re on a beach on a deserted island
with no one to talk to,
no one answers your telephone calls,
just an answering machine at the other end,
and don’t you just hate talking to machines,
no individuality and no spirit there.
On the internet, someone is available,
but no one replies to you
and suddenly you get that feeling
you’ve been deserted by everyone.
Your emails are never answered
and you wonder what you’ve said.
No one wants to chat to you
for some reason or another.
You get to feel that you’re isolated
within your own little sphere
and really, there is no one out there.
Finally, you work yourself up
to thinking no one really cares
and you are just isolated
on a deserted island of your own
in the middle of nowhere.
You then begin to pray someone
will answer one of your calls
and drive the desolation away.

Under Pressure'
Back Chat Back Chat
You burn all my energy
Back Chat Back Chat
Critising all you see
Back Chat Back Chat
Analysing what I say
And you always get your way
Oh yeah see what you've done to me
Back Chat Back Chat
You're driving me insane
It's a battle to the end, knock you down you
come again
Talk back, talk back you've got me on the rack
Twisting every word I say
Wind me up and get your way
Fat chance I have of making a romance
If I'm ever to get the last word in
Take it from there
Twisting every word I say
Wind me up and get your way
Back Chat Back Chat
You burn all my energy
Back Chat Back Chat
Critising all you see
Back Chat Back Chat
Analysing what I say
And you always get your way
Wake up stand up and drag yourself on out
Get down get ready
Scream and shout
Back off be cool
And learn to change your ways

I pay a huge chunk of money to my agent and publicity people to shield me from my fan mail. I don't even want to know how many letters I get. I don't see fan mail as a good thing. It always makes me think of stalkers.

Lonely Days
Woke up this morning early
and switched my computer on.
Messenger came up on the screen
and it showed I was available to chat,
but no one wanted to chat to me.
Several friends were available
and I waited and hoped to see
that one of them might want a chat with me.
Sadly none of them did.
So I sat and played a couple of games
and watched the hours pass slowly away.
Only junk mail came into my inbox,
but no messages from my friends.
It seemed no one wanted to speak to me.
I got on and did some work I had to do
and started to feel forgotten, asking myself
where had all my friends had gone.
Maybe tomorrow or the day after that
someone might remember me and want a chat,
but I am not going to hold my breath on that.
I’ll just have to pick up my pen and write a little more.

Revolution Now
(m&l - weikath)
Well, I think its really time
Again for a revolution
Not to destroy at all costs but have
A look at what is there
Can you remember a time when
Water was sill water
Or are you too young to even know
What we wont give to our heirs
Inhale the bless of science through your lungs
Skin and brain!
Itll surly make our cildren feel
A lot more sane!
Revolution now!
Revolution now!
I was born when april guaranteed a
Sexual renaissance
And today were all faced with death,
Rubbers and aids
In 68 some people went out
To fight for freedom
They would never ever have through
That their children wear lies
And if you come to san francisco
Youre gonna meet some
Broken people there
Revolution now!
Revolution now!

Job 600
'Job 600', 'Job 600'!
Of a high building with 600 rooms;
But marry me like a star and let me lead you on,
For, this job is still at hand in the land of my muse.
In this life, if you are not part of the solution then,
You will be part of the problem;
Because, my love to you is like 'Job 600'!
But, the steps ahead of me are full of troubles.

Electronic President
My dear countrymen
I am the president
Electronically elected
By the power of by force
Such a habit
I was given last time
By my enemy friend
This is the global world
Soul and body digitalized
Logic and reason passed away
People are not the element of democracy so far
You people voted secretly
How one can say whether you didn't vote me
Though you people not believed me
I believe you
That is why
I am consulted
To include into my "Thought"
Such a new method
That is the logic of the birth
revolutionary electronic system
You don't want to waste your time
And listen to others
Now you do own your business.
You do keep your demands with you
I do keep my promises with me
I wish to introduce
This system to my neighbors
by assuring after the general election
I must thank to the technology
Being the part of
The symbol of you
So dear countrymen! !
Do listen well!
If someone goes against me
That means against of the modernity
In other words
Digital agents will punish you
Digitalizing the law and order
Lastly I want to say
Be calm and quiet
Peace will be given for you

Revolution
If you think its over, better think again
Therell be no compromise
Time to hit the power, feel adrenaline
Move into overdrive
Here comes the revolution
Time for retribution
If you think Ill back down or accept defeat
Brace for the aftershock
Take it to the limits, take it to the streets
Give it everything youve got
Time to come together
Revolution
Living on forever
Revolution
Get ready for the revolution
Its a revolution
Its a retribution
Somethings in the air
Time to change, its time to change
You better watch out tonight
You better watch out for the revolution
Bring it down, bring it down
