Cat Stevens

I looked at some of the statues of Jesus; they were just stones with no life. When they said that God is three, I was puzzled even more but could not argue. I believed it, simply because I had to have respect for the faith of my parents.

Could This Be You?

Somebody has to keep faith,
Deep believed.
Somebody should feel everyday,
Come what may...
They can not lose.
No matter what it is they may be going through.

Somebody should stop crawling on their knees.
With a moody attitude.
Could this be you...
Who can choose to improve?
If you wanted to!

Some people live their lives,
Caught up in the middle...
Attempting to solve complexing riddles.
To feel 'flipped, flapped and jacked'...
As if heated on a griddle,
Becoming puzzled and belittled.
With a blowing of a stack,
That leaves them to sizzle...
In a whipping stirred that leaves them broken,
Choked up and seen...
In a pity that's demeaned.

Somebody should stop crawling on their knees.
With a moody attitude.
Could this be you...
Who can choose to improve?
If you wanted to!

Somebody has to keep faith,

Somebody should feel everyday,

Could this be you?
Caught up in the middle,
Puzzled and belittled.

Could this be you?
Caught up in the middle,
Puzzled and belittled...
Feeling flapped and jacked,
And heated on a griddle!

Feeling puzzled and belittled!

Golden Statues

We strike the hearts of golden statues,
Inside them we find and describe the futility.
This innocent man who beautified the world
Has created his own house where no statues exist.
Open these writings with the key of success
So that reading and writing beleaguers the olden men.
Internal strife stagnates the soul’s journey,
But where is the pain so descriptive?
Disrupt nobody in this nation of brilliance,
Offend nobody, nobody must be destroyed
But the statues of great art, the living stones?
No! - They reside in the crevices of flames
And so smoke and ash leap into the sky.
Inculcate these beliefs in the heart
And the head shall follow with similar faith.

Cat in bed (real expirience)

It was vaccation time and
I was very happy.
I played all day picking,
dolls on their noses and throwing them
Just like a strong man.
And the computer
it got the fever and I got the scoldings!
My parents send me early to bed.
Just when it was 8
I resisted the most to my parents
But then lost resisting to them
I went to bed with a long face
Determined not to sleep,
My brother looked me with a sly smile
My parents switched off the light
And said good night.
It was dark in the room and I
Saw a dark figure having looks of a cat
Just beside me on.
My very own bed
I was puzzled as
there was no cat in the house
And when I touched it,
Oh! It felt like fur,
Coward me screamed like anything
And my parents came rushing along,
And they put on the lights and I saw
Lying beside me on my bed
Was a cat-like doll
And there was my brother on the floor
Purring just like a cat!

When You Die

When you die, where do you go? it is something that you can know,
Men everywhere frames of but dust, it all depends on who you trust,
There’s only One my dear friend, Who determines man’s eternal end,
And that’s The Lord, Jesus Christ, God, who gives man Eternal Life!

Jesus Christ came to earth to show, this whole world that way to go,
God’s one and only way to Heaven, which opposes religious leaven,
In the midst of religious strife, stating “I am the Way, Truth and Life.”
And that Truth was for everyone, we reach Heaven through The Son.

It’s nothing to do with being good, from the Word that’s understood,
He didn’t die for the righteous at all, but for sinners, great and small,
The Shepherd came for the lost, stopping at Calvary to pay the cost,
For all men to enter to Paradise, by becoming for us God’s Sacrifice.

All work needed, by God, was done, through the sending of His Son,
God redeeming both you and me, while providing for us life eternally,
Christ simply said for all to come, no matter what life you came from,
Any and all who thirst in this life, can come to The Lord, Jesus Christ.

All men must do, is simply believe, and eternity in Heaven we receive,
Not by good works, we have done, but, by Faith alone in God’s Son,
And we know, by God’s Grace, when we accept Christ, through Faith,
God’s Spirit seals our guarantee, that we shall be with Christ eternally.

Ways Unfounded

God moves in ways we think not, when Godly faith becomes our lot,
Living daily, our faith prescribed, by He who lives, although He died.
Christ now lives, guiding those, following in faith, the One who rose,
Guiding us with Staff and Rod, is our Shepherd, our friend and God.

Leading believers in ways unfound, as God puts us on solid ground,
With our faith in the One who lives, His peace to us our Savior gives,
In a world that can appear hollow, He gives us vision when we follow,
Sight unfound in this world we see, but, a vision anchored in Eternity.

Man’s empty ways have such allure, in a dark world that is so unsure,
When what you see is what you get, in God’s Plan, simply doesn’t fit,
For all our faith, founded in Him, takes us beyond man’s empty whim,
When all earthly plans turn into dust, an enduring plan is ours by trust.

All God’s Ways we may not know, but with all them He helps us grow,
With all eyes on The Author of Life, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
As God helps believers to rise, in downtimes, much to man’s surprise,
For His Ways, by many are ignored, for they have no faith in our Lord.

But, the many who have believed, enduring Truths, they have received,
Although no one fully understands, this entire world is in God’s Hands,
God’s Will, shall be achieved friend, as this dark world will see its end,
As believers, move into Eternal Life, safely with, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bible in Poetry: Gospel of St. John (Chapter 9)

Jesus saw a man, blind since birth;
His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi,
By whose sins was the man born blind-
His own sins or that of parents’? ’

So, Jesus answered them, ‘Neither.
It is so that the works of God
Be manifested through the man.
The day is meant for all to work;
The night is for slumber and rest.’
‘While in this world, I am the light.’

Then Jesus spat on ground near-by
And mixed the clay with saliva;
He smeared the clay over man’s eyes
And said, ’ Go wash in Siloam Pool! ’
The man did so and got vision.

The beggar was able to see!
The neighbors saw and then remarked,
‘Isn’t this the beggar who was blind? ’

The beggar replied, ‘Yes, I am! ’
They asked, ‘How were your eyes opened? ’

The man described the whole story.
They asked him, ‘Where is Jesus now?
The beggar said, ‘I do not know.’

They brought the man to Pharisees;
Now Jesus did the miracle,
On Sabbath day and all knew that.

The Pharisees queried the man;
They said, ‘This man is not from God!
He does not keep the Sabbath-day.
How can a sinful man do signs?
They asked the beggar’s opinion;
He told them, ‘He is a prophet! ’

The Jews summoned his parents then
And enquired about their son;
His parents said, ‘He was born blind.’
But they didn’t know how he saw then.
They neither knew the healer’s name;
They told them to ask the beggar.

His parents were afraid of Jews;
If anyone believed Jesus,
And acknowledged Him, Messiah,
They were expelled from synagogue.

They called the beggar once again,
And asked him to give praise to God,
For, Jesus was a sinner great!

The man replied, ‘I do not know
If Jesus is a sinner great;
One thing was true that I was blind
And Jesus helped to make me see, ’

They asked him for more details then;
The beggar lost his cool and said,
‘Do you wish to be disciples? ’

They ridiculed the beggar-man
And said, ‘We are Moses’ disciples!
We don’t know where Jesus is from? ’

The man answered them quite bravely,
‘Isn’t it amazing that although,
You do not know who Jesus is,
Yet, He had made me to see then? ’

‘God does not listen to sinners;
If one’s devout, God listens then.
So far no one had given sight
To man who was blind, since his birth.’
‘If Jesus did not come from God,
He wouldn’t do miracles like this.’

They told the man, ‘You’re born in sin;
So, do not try to preach to us.
They drove the beggar-man away!

Then Jesus heard of incident;
He found the beggar-man and asked,
‘Do you believe in Son of Man? ’

He queried, ‘Who is he, tell me
So that, I may believe in Him.’

Then Jesus said, ‘You have seen Him;
The one speaking to you is He! ’

The man believed and worshipped Him.
Then Jesus said, ‘I came in here,
Into this world for judgment just,
And make ones who couldn’t see, to see,
And those who see become so blind.’

Some Pharisees who heard him said,
‘Surely we’re blind, are we not then? ’

Jesus told them, ‘If you were blind,
You wouldn’t have sins, but as you see,
Your sin remains and you are blind! ’

Life

Life is a beautiful place,
It is how you make it to be.

Life is about believing in
yourself,
This is your life and what
you choose to do with your
life is up to you.

You respect others and they
will respect you too.

Life is never all that easy,
We learn to simply grow
strong and grow wise each
day.

We learn through our mistakes,
That is how we simply turn them
around and start over again.

Life is precious as you are,
Keep the faith and never
let go.

Life has many mysteries for us
to solve,
That is why we learn to put the
pieces of the puzzle together.

When goals are completed we know
we have earned a big star,
We all walk proud knowing we have
done well.

Life has a powerful meaning,
We all must always feel proud to
walk this earth.

Life has has given to many of us,
A chance to live, laugh
and to learn.

Remember, life is too short
to feel grumpy,
We learn to turn that grumpy
little frown into happiness.

Searching For The Face Of Jesus

He believed if you had a little faith
you could stop the rain
and he believed if you got a little love
it would ease the pain
but still he's suffering
Searching for the face of Jesus
Looking for the light we need
Searching for the face of Jesus
painted in the blood we bleed
By the side of a giant swimming-pool
with a mystic book
Hanging out with the guys and playing the fool
fat as King Farouk
but look he's suffering
Searching for the face of Jesus
downtown Memphis, Tennessee
Searching for the face of Jesus
Science is a mystery
Oh and sometimes there's a close shave
They come, they go
Keeps the flowers fresh at his mom's grave
and talks to her as though...
Searching for the face of Jesus
Looking for the light we need
Searching for the face of Jesus
painted in the blood we bleed
Searching for the face of Jesus
downtown Memphis, Tennessee
Searching for the face of Jesus
Science is a mystery

Have I Ever Been Unreasonable?

I have never been one to proclaim,
I...
Was perfect.
Everyone knows,
Those self proclaimed declarations...
Invite those who are seekers of flaws.
And...
Well,
You know me?
I do not send out those invitations.

I merely 'hinted'...
That some things 'you' may find,
I do...
You may perceive as being flawless.
And I simply agreed.

It was 'you' who wanted to define my doings,
As perfect.
You are the beholder!
And as the 'beholdee'...
Why on Earth would I want to argue,
With your assessment?

Have I ever been unreasonable?
Have I?
Especially when you are addressing the obvious.
I respect your visions.
Geeessshhh.
You always want to argue,
Over the truth of things as they appear.

Assurance From God

The Lord with a promise to fulfill, would send His Eternal Son to Israel,
To save His people from their sin, when the baby Jesus would enter in,
Sending Him into that tiny nation, as Messiah delivering their salvation,
A prophecy from back in Paradise, pointing all people to Jesus Christ.

God’s perfect plan was prophesied, with the child found in virgin bride,
Whom the Holy Spirit conceived, that Mary and Joseph, both received,
When God assured Joseph that day, so that he did not put Mary away,
Then Joseph, being a righteous man, believed and obeyed God’s Plan.

And taking Mary home as his wife, he displayed a faithful obedient life,
Together they’d raise God’s Son, who would be the Savior of everyone.
And with Immanuel now with us, in God all peoples can place their trust,
To live a life of faith through Grace, this no matter what in life men face.

That little baby born in Bethlehem, would become the Savior of all men,
Growing up in the town of Nazareth, He would become God’s Ideal Gift.
Sent down to deliver not only the Jew, but all the believing Gentiles too,
And through our faith as we believe, God’s sustaining Grace we receive.

Now, given Joseph’s Faith illustration, when we accept God’s Salvation,
God gives assurance to each man, who walks in faith pursuing His plan,
So through faith accept Jesus Christ, to see what God does in your life,
Whether you’re a Gentile or Jew, display faith and see what God will do.

Pride of Knowledge

Knowledge, my friend, can truly be, an asset for both you and me.
But too much simply stored inside, can fill a heart with fatal pride.
Pride does come before a fall, so friend beware when walking tall.
A humble heart will please God; a prideful heart will see His Rod.

As much is received it’s required, that you seek out God’s desire.
Friend, you just can’t afford, to squander the gifts from The Lord.
The knowledge you’re blessed with, is from God an awesome gift.
A gift that can be freely shared, about our Loving God who cared.

God Who so loved the world, He sent John a message to herald.
About His Son Jesus Christ, who would come to be His sacrifice.
On a cross He was condemned, The Sinless Lamb for sinful men.
His message was then received, by those who truly had believed.

Some proud men would not hear, that The Son of God was near.
John, a humble man in a crowd, of learned men who were proud.
They had hearts so deceived, that his message was not believed.
By their hands, John lost his life, but was exalted by Jesus Christ.

A humble heart, God can use, to share with men His Good News.
You’ll be exalted by Jesus Christ, and rewarded with Eternal Life.
But the proud will be humbled friend, by Jesus Christ in the end.
For their rejection of Jesus Christ, they shall not see Eternal Life.

What Man Do You Know

What man do you know who has been dead for centuries
Yet is alive and doing well.
What man do you know who has pictures of himself worldwide
What man do you know who has statues erected of him
What man do you know who can speak in every language in the world
What man do you know whose words are spoken to billions of people
What man do you know who can soften the hardest of hearts
What man do you know who would gladly give his life for you
What man do you know who would help anyone in need

WHAT MAN DO YOU KNOW?

I know of just one!
His name is simply JESUS!

Maybe if the world was to take just one day worldwide
And dedicate that day to him, then for two minutes
Just stop and pray to him
We would find world peace, and eliminate hunger
And find the solutions to so many problems.

But unfortunately people do not want to have
Their lives interrupted even for two minutes
And yet they’ll turn around and ask for his help.

GOD is known by so many different names
But his son was known as JESUS.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

I Believe In Jesus

Ran into mother mary down on line
Street in l.a.
She was preaching the gospel
She was singing how jesus saves
When a crowd of passing tourists
Looked to see what they could see
You know before they know it she had
Them all down on their knees
I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I already been through hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
Now jesus was a little lamb, his fleece
Was white as snow
And every where that jesus went
This lamb is sure to go
Well I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I saved my soul from going to hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
Look at the sheep cause theyre
Running fast
They wanna make it through the gates
At last
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
I believe in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus.....

The Importance Of Keeping The Peace

I hope what I say is understood.
The rent I pay to stay in my home,
Is not to listen to others argue...
In front of it.
And I am asking you,
To give me some respect.
By leaving this area...
And taking your mess,
To a place where you pay...
To lay your heads down to rest.

'None of us pay rent.
We live with friends...
Because our parents wont let us in.'

Trust me,
I sympathize with your plight.
However...
With that said,
And like your parents...
I'd like to get some sleep tonight.

And when and 'if'...
You get the opportunity to pay mortgage or rent,
You will come to understand...
The importance of keeping the peace.

Thank you!
And none of that did I ever do to my mother.

Maybe A CINO

Friend, are you a CINO faithfully, being a Christian in name only?
Christianity they don’t profess, as The Spirit they don’t possess.
Some, may dare profess a faith, never touched by God’s Grace,
Grace that when it’s received, changes hearts that have believed.

True faith’s more than knowledge of, The Lord who reigns above,
But, a faith that brings to earth, God above, through a New Birth,
Spiritual Birth, bringing into life, as Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Who moves upon this earthly sod, in all who truly belong to God.

There are CINOs in every church, weekly in their pews they perch,
Hearing the Word week after week, but His Truth they never seek,
And in their pews they do remain, with a heart in need of change,
Sitting there as they always have, using their faith as just a salve.

So they leave their house of faith, not changed, by God’s Grace,
Still being who they were before, they entered in a church’s door,
And back into their week they go, with very little change to show,
To those on life’s Broader Way, with whom they work day to day.

So all Christians, in only name, can cause Christ hurt and shame,
By their actions, make no mistake, for their benefit, not His sake,
When you see a Godless testimony, it may just be, in name only,
Not a True Christian, please know, but simply a professing CINO.

Let's Flood

Planned things not always happen, but happen things you had no plans for. And yet many things that lie ahead of you, you dont know. Our life is like that of a river; joins another river on its way to the ocean; ocean of death, eternity.

It trickles down and down and goes on. Now it's like two... stronger, steadier, and needless to say non-splittable... needless, because; have you ever seen a river divide in parts? They are one now... that is one.

Being one they maybe enjoyed more.... each had their choice of routes to venture... dependability was nil, indulgence could be high and sacrifices meant none....

But that's better this way. They, no, no they, it, it can be more aggressive now. It can tell the world how it wants it, not the world deciding it. It doesn't have to snake down, but will push over and will wash away the stubborn stones on its way to the ocean. Stones will be gentler to it now, will respect it. Bushes will respect it. Scrubs will respect it. Trees will respect. Rocks will respect it. They will respect it.

The ocean is clean
The ocean is pure
The ocean is immortality
The world will respect us

A Phoenician Woman Of Faith

your praying every single time
your heart is moved to take in
a stray dog or cat; I remember

a Phoenician woman who cried
out to the Lord, son of David;
because her daughter was badly

demonized; Jesus said to his disciples
“I was not sent forth to any but
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

When the woman made obeisance
saying “Lord, help me! ” In answer
Jesus said “It is not right to take the bread

of the children and throw it to little dogs.”
With a mother’s love praying for her
daughter the Phoenician woman replied

“Yes Lord, but even the dogs do eat
of the crumbs falling from their master’s
table.” Jesus replied “Oh woman, great

is your faith; let it happen to you
as you wish.” In faith her daughter
was healed from that hour on. Thus Matthew 15: 21-28.

every time we give more than
we have to give we emulate Jesus
who gave to a faithful Phoenician

woman although she was not
a lost sheep of the house of Israel
she received in faith her daughter

healed just like similar faith encounter
a Roman centurion from Capernaum
who believed from a distance Jesus

could heal because he had authority
and in faith the manservant was healed Matthew 8: 5-13.
God gives authority as God has chosen

Jesus cared even when his disciples
thought Jesus should not it was Jesus
who miracle feed hungry five thousand

every time Jesus cared when others
thought Jesus should not to Father God
Jesus was praying as every single time

we care when others think we should not
we are also praying as my own father
was often praying when others knew it not

Faith and its role

There are two kinds of faith people live with:
Faith in lordship and faith in fellowship;
The first is that someone will do for you
And the second is others won't fail you.

With faith in the shepherd, the sheep follow.
With faith in the fellow sheep, the sheep feed.
Without faith in system, you can't follow.
Without faith in others, you can't transact.

Faith in God, faith in fate and faith in luck
Would weaken the faith you have in yourself.
Faith in love, faith in trade and faith in helps
Would slacken the cognizance you possess.

Faith can't be dispensed with altogether.
Faith in the unknown has no guarantee.
Faith in the known has no certainty
But can strengthen their faithfulness to you.

Faith in parents and faith in teachers,
Faith in doctors and faith in medicine
And faith in judges and in justice
Denounced altogether, one cannot exist.

Faith in spouses and faith in children,
Faith in siblings and faith in servants
And faith in professional ethics
Abandoned altogether, one cannot thrive.

Without faith, promises bear no meanings.
Without faith, guarantees have no bearings.
Without faith, investments will have no life.
Only with faith could life be felt secure.

Faith might crack when it is misplaced.
Faith might break when it's sabotaged.
Faith might crash when it's blindfolded.
Yet, one has to vouch for faith in life.

Faith comes from ignorance of things.
Faith comes from lack of influence.
Faith comes in helpless conditions.
Faith exercises no control yet.

Have faith in you and accept the outcome.
Have faith in others and give allowance.
Have faith in future and shelve the distress.
Faith vacated, worries will occupy.

With faith you can see

Have faith that my Jesus walked this earth.
And that he was conceived and had a miraculous birth.

And by faith as we were not there to see,
You must accept that he died on a cruel tree.

With faith our mines eyes will show,
On the cross how his blood did flow.

Showing faith in the Bible God's holy Word.
As Jesus died the crowds shouts are heard.

Also by faith we have to believe,
From Satan the keys he did retrieve.

And with faith in him you shall not oppose,
That on the third day from the grave he arose.

And if you'll keep this faith until the end.
He'll return for you, just watch and see my friend!
