I support mosques, obviously. We need churches, temples, mosques. Whatever people use to speak with their god or to receive spiritual inspiration is good for the country. But the symbolism of it at ground zero, within two blocks or three blocks, I believe is wrong.

Can Someone Prove That There's A God?
We've established the idea that there has to be a god,
Gave churches, synagogues, mosques and temples the nod,
We have fought many battles over which religion is right,
Whichever side won, always celebrated with great delight.
We still can't get together because their religion is wrong,
A sin or a sacrilege for sure that has gone on far too long,
The only thing we can't deny is that, we eventually die,
No shortcuts or euthanasia and religious types wont say why.
Unfortunately what I write here will not change a thing,
The UN is a fine example as they try to pull all the strings,
If they only had the guts to say, all religions are wrong,
We would probably be better off and maybe all get along,

May Smile On Arrival
Not only conch but hymns too
That is the only means to listen to as true
Hear or listen sacred names in the morning
Rest of the day may pass nice till the evening
Those things awaken the life
Otherwise it is like knife
It may cut man through both edges
Only faith and trust boosts him to manage
Why prayers are offered in the early hours?
Whole of the universe is fast asleep with fears
No one knows what can happen next day
So certainly the guidance is asked through prayers
If you are living near by church or mosques
You may hear it loudly when people are in queue
To offer their worship in wee hours
Some of the people may still be fast asleep on floors
Churches bell ring with clear sign
Mosques offering loudly regain
The presence of almighty is felt and aired
People may know it is time for prayers to be offered
The poem is not to speak about what you do
How you do and in which way you feel true?
It is just an indication of lovely signal
That fortune may smile on its arrival

I believe in Christianity, Judaism and Islamism, but I stay away from churches, synagogues and mosques.
Gives A Damn!
the day i changed
my last name to 'gives a damn',
that's when the trouble began!
why does it make people so mad
when you speak the truth?
and why so uncomfortable
when you admit your mistakes,
take off your mask and stand naked,
revealing that you're human?
and why the anger
when you treat everyone the same?
no favorites, no elite, no righteous!
no political agenda, no religious fervor,
no attempts to convert....
no need to lead or follow,
always walking beside!
equal in suffering, equal in needs,
equal freedom, equal dignity!
anti-war, and anti any government
that abuses, neglects, or terrorizes...
believing that God lives within
every living being,
not in churches, temples, or mosques....
thus believing that all life is holy,
that all beings are sacred!
'gives a damn', and always will!

When Heart Accept Another, No Bridge Required On River Of Life!
How can people build bridges,
When are busy in building houses
and towers,
Temples, churches
And mosques,
When belief breaks relations, But not interested in invisible
bridges between hearts
only some hearts weep,
Hearing cry of other ones! Either are sincere,
Or reached lonely island,
When ship of life wrecked!
Only faith construct bridges,
Beliefs break them and from that
stones, Build walls of forts! When heart has eyes to look into
another heart,
When one accept another,
No bridge required on river of
life!

Gods and Pinnacles
Over the houses of living beings
Places of Gods
Pinnacles of
Churches
Mosques
And temples
Colossal and magnificent
Glorious scare in the air
Those Gods never expected
Birds that fly in sky
Sometimes perch on that
And have a rest
Being a God of God
Without any care
Invaded investors
Build their glorious tombs
Exceeding the pinnacles
Gods and agents are silent
They want them
To scare the bellow and to follow
For the splendid survival

A Dream of Innocence
(A dream I dreamt when I was only four years old)
Hardly was I old years four,
Went through an experience unforgettable.
It was the month of monsoon winds,
In the clear sunny morn I went out of the village,
And beheld the sun rising in the west,
Beyond the yonder peaks of the hills,
In the same place where it descends.
Fear gripped my mind and I ran to the mosque,
Lest the Door of Penitence should be closed.
I ran and ran through the streets shouting,
“O! People come! Come to the mosques!
The Doom is encroaching, beg apology of the sins,
Lest the Door of Deliverance be shut.”
No sooner did I find myself in front of the door
Than I found the mosque running,
With moderate speed, as the train leaves the station.
I ran and ran with the petty steps
Beside the walls, with increasing rapidity,
But ever the door remained out of the reach,
Then the mosques went afar; I began to gasp behind,
On the hot ground with bare feet.

Peace of Mind
O peace! give me the pace to have a glimpse of you!
Elusive you are! Leaving illusions all around!
Temples and Mosques, Churches and Asylums
Wander the mortals in quest of reaching your portals
Men and Women, rich and the poor, scholars and scoundrels
Submit their prejudice for seeking a nap on your lap
Millions and billions may swell the coffers
There dwells a hell when your stay is put to nil
Comforts and luxuries, power and authority
Seldom fetch the joy of your ever soothing serenity
Greed less minds, compassionate hearts, unruffled souls in joy and grief
Are the ones after whom you run seeking an abode for you to rest

On Ginsberg's America,6th Part
Shelter me free in my aberrations, America.
Let me consume in the fleshes of your brilliant tortured boys;
Let me revel in the pirouettes of your naïve moonlit girls;
Indulge me these, America.
In churches, synagogues, mosques, temples,
Nameless eclipsed fields,
Holy refuges of the upstanding,
On my laurels, tense, above,
Those graves of stoics we…have loved.
In buses, haylofts, boxcars, truck beds,
Novel roadside diversions,
Holy refuges of the pariah,
On my knees sobbing, ecstatic, with,
The images of memories we…have known.
Preserve me these, America.

Not all may be
Not all may be feeling same
But for that He is not to be blamed
Many God fathers have taken his place
For deprived people not to make chase
If any one was to feel high
Nobody would have been left and dry
Innocents are killed in day light
Who says men fear from Almighty's might?
All said and not done
It is momentary burst of bubbles
That remains for a while and gone
Everybody is aware that we are on heap of rubbles
We go to churches, mosques or temples
"That to show how religious we are' as samples
We pray only to come out from fishy affair
Only God may know what will be fair?
I blame no one as I am one of the same
Same origin and thoughts from where they came
We try to cheat almighty with unclear conscience
How can we then put on him for fair reliance?
I spend sleepless night when cry in bed
All those years were ruthlessly led
That cry from innocent people makes me restless
So far I have lived with double face
Can't we think in simple manner?
We have to go to him later or sooner
With what face we may reply to our sins?
Will then it be our biggest achievement or win?
It is open to all people who owe their existence out of clay
No matter how long they rule or hold the sway
Nothing can prevent them from being taken away
This is what He has carved out a simple way

Peace Was A Dream
Alas! A dove sitting today
On the termite-eaten branch of peace,
Looks sometime towards the garden
And sometime towards her curtailed wings.
The big fish must not think the small
Foodstuff of her own fate;
Tears are amazed in eyes of the deer
And paws of the lions are blood stained.
Scattered are the bodies un-shrouded,
Flown away kites and crows
Scratching them all, they are sitting In the arenas of mosques and temples,
And some have perched on walls of churches.
Nature of the veracious animals never changes, Though they move in the civilized aprons, Yet a wild smell emits out of their bodies. Lo! Under the flag of peace and friendship Blood flows from all sides on the globe.

Enter Into Our Jerusalem, Jesus
We bid you, Jesus,
come into our Jerusalem.
Enter into our hearts
where hatred and bitterness
can possibly lurk and thrive,
cutting out the petals of love.
We bid you, Jesus,
come into our Jerusalem.
Enter into our family life
where love and faithfulness
can possibly be choked
by thistles of fear and mistrust.
We bid you, Jesus,
come into our Jerusalem.
Enter into our working places
where stress, boredom and
discontent may eat away
all our joy and energy.
We bid you, Jesus,
come into our Jerusalem.
Enter into our churches, synagogues,
mosques and temples
where power struggles and
personal interests blind us from
living in God's way.
Enter into our Jerusalem, Jesus,
on this Palm Sunday.

He
He blocks the pain like a door blocks off the outside.
He holds the key to my heart, but doesn't break it.
He is like the rain washing away my tears.
To only form a rainbow in my heart.
This He is in my life and
I am glad of it.

The religious hatred
Muslims and Christians
Who are converts of Hindus,
Have got no nostalgia that
They were once Hindus
As Hindus who were converts
Of Jain or Buddhists,
Having no nostalgia that
They were Jain or Buddhists.
Temples were replaced by mosques
As shrines of Jain and Buddha
Had been replaced by temples.
Religions destroyed brotherliness

God... Where Are YOU?
Searched for HIM near and far
in temples, mosques, churches and vihars
Browsed Gita, Bible and Quran
peeped into the pages of Vedas and Purans.
Questioned the learned ones, scholars and sages
journeyed in this quest sacred places.
Meditated seeking HIM in lap of the Himalayas
Praying for HIS presence through chanting of mantras.
Sages and savants, answers, could'nt satisfy me
my hunger for HIM, felt, beginning to betray me.
Finding of God particle raised my hope
soon to vanish by another stroke.
Instrumental in forming the Universe, it was revealed
but who made this particle, mystery yet to be unveiled?
Arn't we the God particles in the true sense?
What use this universe without inhabitants?
Eureka! I have found HIM within myself
HE is in everyone, bother to seek within self.
He is in us, in every human being
in good deeds, love, service & pious thinking.
So why search HIM here and there
Universal love marks HIS presence everywhere.
