May Smile On Arrival
Not only conch but hymns too
That is the only means to listen to as true
Hear or listen sacred names in the morning
Rest of the day may pass nice till the evening
Those things awaken the life
Otherwise it is like knife
It may cut man through both edges
Only faith and trust boosts him to manage
Why prayers are offered in the early hours?
Whole of the universe is fast asleep with fears
No one knows what can happen next day
So certainly the guidance is asked through prayers
If you are living near by church or mosques
You may hear it loudly when people are in queue
To offer their worship in wee hours
Some of the people may still be fast asleep on floors
Churches bell ring with clear sign
Mosques offering loudly regain
The presence of almighty is felt and aired
People may know it is time for prayers to be offered
The poem is not to speak about what you do
How you do and in which way you feel true?
It is just an indication of lovely signal
That fortune may smile on its arrival

Graced by almighty
It was unique night for me to spend with anxiety
It was first time that I was graced by almighty
I was long time that I was expecting arrival of baby
I did experience it today as it might have been felt by man
I could feel uncontrollable eagerness and so much joy within
She had gained extra weight in body even though she was lean and thin
She never regretted carrying it over for quite number of months
She counted each day and prayed God not to offer unpleasant death
As the pregnancy carry risk of so many things hence feared
It is God’s blessings and do pay off even after so much labored
If He is wishing to grace the arrival nothing can happen
But hardly there are any chances of occurring it even
I was pacing feet with lots of prayers
It was the only way to act as conveyers
It is belief that God listens to the earnest desire
I did the same with heart felt prayers and hoped happily to retire
I had no time to observe the nature outside
Even though the night was dark and covered very wide
I could not pick the signal of quite and calmness
She too was eager to witness the new face
The sound of air was gently heard
The nest too was quite with no noise of birds
I silently heart the increasing pain from wife
As if she was going to be operated upon with surgical knife
I missed number of beats in sequence
It was puzzling me about her inside presence
She was undergoing tremendous pain
Even though she was offered comfortable space to lie in
Life was never to be same again for us as couple
One more entry will be marked by ending the status of double
We may be now added with crying baby
We won’t now afford to remain inactive or lazy
The pain was felt by me outside as some movement was heard
I had worry about her and something bad was almost feared
All of sudden cry broke all my thought chain for a while
I had gone extra miles in my dreamy world in different style
I heard a calm and quite call
There was only little cry and quietness overall
The little one had arrived by giving signal on scene
The face lines let loose the tension and go away never to be seen

All of sudden
All of sudden whole sky got illuminated
It was wonder and no one new how it got originated
It has got relevance with the happening on earth
It was definitely a good sign to be linked with divine birth
Whenever this phenomenon occurred something was bound to happen
It was not to be just coincidence but new chapter was going to open
May be it was arrival of pure soul to take the refuge on lovely land
For the help of those depressed and deprived to strengthen the hands
All religion books are full of tales and speak of large volumes
It is totally unbelievable to have taken place in vacuum
Only pure soul with divine power might have witnessed such scene
It was to be rarest of rare that might have been observed and seen
“I shall visit the disciples when they are in need” verses read
You may find me among them at suitable time and lead
It is holy belief that hangs on very thin thread
You need to put trust, have faith and plead
It is how we have come to link the divine phenomena
It is totally unbelievable and unknown arena
It is reality and got to be believed with complete faith
Why do we remember almighty at the time of only death?
Just flash of lights in the sky for a moment is indication of bad omen too
Some bad may happen and believed by many is also equally true
It may so happen that some one might have been taken to heaven
Such miracles don’t happen often or witnessed even
It is generally believed to be rare occasion
The things to be laughed out simply is out of question
Such things happen once in a blue moon
All of sudden dark clouds rush in the sky in day light or noon
Whenever evil forces has taken over the helm of affairs or exceeded
The God has taken birth to hear the prayers from devotees and acceded
It may not be altogether true but it has happened at several places
The sufferings have been removed and brought the happiness on faces
Let us not undo the teachings of the divine power
It may cool your body as is felt in rainy shower
It has all the qualities to make you feel happy and grant the peace
Life is so lovely and to be spent completely at ease

A early morning
It is nice to witness early morning
everything is calm and quite without any warning
You may find pleasant time through out the day
you may feel different when start to pray
Even pin dropp can be heard
it is still not the time for birds
they are resting in the nests
they will the break the silence at first
The cattle may gather to go in heard
the morning prayers may have charming words
it is something you can term as unique
it is natural and there is no trick
What does it mean when some one hears'Alla-ho Akbar'*
God you are almighty and great as shining star
you are residing in heart and control the mind
where else we should try to go and find?
The Church's bell offer no less joy
we are like child as if offered with toy
he has the fife line to control and guide
we always offer prayers and seek to confide
The heavy bells ring in side the temple
this can be evident and must be seen as sample
these all combine make the morning very pleasant
the final preparation is now made by the peasants
It is time to plough the filed
the seeds must be in ground and firmly held
So when the rain drops make the earth wet
more crops may grow and increase the yield but yet to wait
This is not possible without His grace
It depends upon how we act and brace?
do we have that pure heart and innocent face?
or we are indulging in mad race?
It is observed by him but may not prefer to punish
he will never put his initials for it to finish
that will be done by us to invite the dawn fall
we deserve ill treatment without his call
No one stops us from believing the faith
this will go only with the natural death
is it irrelevant in the present day context?
we must only think what we can do as best
Each religion has got its own merit
geographically also it suits and fits
we have to follow simple essence of the religion
it has nothing to do with any zone or region
The God has taken enough care
You can feel His presence everywhere
Why you need to run here and there?
if you really think of him then he is very much here
it completely coincides and resonates
you need not to corroborate or narrate
we may be reluctant to act very late
the first time action will be taken in haste
Everything is said and not done
nothing has disappeared or gone
we have enough time to think with option
the unity may come only after some disruption

Beggar's death
No one cried over his demise
When his body was found at our premise
He might have tried to knock the door
But we were fast asleep in door
We used to give him some food
When he passed in street with health looking good
He won't beg of his own but always thanked
When offered something that he cheerfully drank
For many days we had noticed his absence
It was giving us shock not to witness his presence
We believed in his well being even though he was not related
As we felt good for him and humanly feted
Some one shouted by his name as beggar
We ran out of premises and noticed there
His motionless body with no movement
We felt bad and cursed his death with resentment
Even though something had forced him
He never used to bother and troubled them
He will stare at the sky and murmur
Laugh gently as if wanted something to offer
For whatever reason at least he deserved descent burial
The decency at this time was essential
Anybody would want to be happily taken away
The last rituals were to be observed is this way
His eyes were wide open and wanted an answer
I shut it with hands and offered its closure
"What was a purpose in leading such life? "
As it was spend on edges of sharp knife
As he had no one to look after
We took all responsibility there after
He was given nice bath and offered good cloths
The destination point was observed after his death

Prayer Warriors
We are the prayer warriors and we say the prayers
For all the people for whom we care.
It matters not the position you’re in
If you’re good or if you sinned.
We all need prayers some time in our lives
Especially when things don’t turn out right.
When you’re sick or in despair
The prayer warriors are always there.
You pray for me as I pray for you
And all our prayers will come true.
We do not have to be gathered
As a group when we pray.
In a church, a temple, in a steeple
He listens to all of us, for we are his people.
They say there is strength when we gather in prayer
A common belief that we all share.
So let us pray for our fellow man
Because he now needs a helping hand.
So father we thank you for the blessings each day
And helping all who come your way.

Don’t Cry For Me Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will never let you out of my mind
I hear your voices people of Africa
I hear your cries people of Africa
I see pain in your eyes people of Africa
It is hard to describe what you people of Africa are going through
Poverty strikes you all people of Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because I will keep you in my prayers people of Africa
Power to the people of Africa
People of Africa lift your spirit higher
Lord is the light and truth people of Africa
The Lord sends you a message from his heart to you people of Africa
He said because I love you
I will answer your prayers
I hear your prayers
Don’t cry for me Africa
Because you have a friend that is the Lord
People of Africa continue doing the Lords work
Make a wish people of Africa
The people of Africa are looking at the Lord face to face
Lord here is no paradise
We dream a little dream said the people of Africa to the Lord
The People of Africa Pray that the Lord will give each other strength every day
Don’t cry for me Africa
Save the people of Africa
Strengthened the people of Africa each day
Because I’ll be there in your dreams people of Africa
The people of Africa tells The Lord how much they love him
Don’t cry for me Africa
Lord comes when you are ready people of Africa
Feelings you have for your Lord People of Africa
And I know you will never let it die
Nothing but flowers the people of Africa will plant in the sea shore for the Lord
Don’t cry for me Africa
The people of Africa needs hope to heal there land
The Lord rose up on you people of Africa
Don’t cry for me Africa
My heart will go on
Once I close this door of the ship I will sail across the Atlantic Sea

I support mosques, obviously. We need churches, temples, mosques. Whatever people use to speak with their god or to receive spiritual inspiration is good for the country. But the symbolism of it at ground zero, within two blocks or three blocks, I believe is wrong.

Never Tire
I offer prayers each day
When I awake and get ready to play
New game each day of the life with joy
Look at sky with smiling face and enjoy
It has been formed as inseparable part
Prayers are to be offered when the day starts
Who knows when will we be offered grace again?
Life is on going struggle and must sustain the pain
When sun appears over the horizon
The blue water gets nice reflection
Provide us with the golden chance
As if it is to be availed it at once
Sun rays create ripple in the calm water
As if the course is gong to alter
There may be turmoil in coming moments
It has to be watched with heavy movements
The light spreads with clear message
Come to the full strength when I am ablaze
Take as much as you can and utilize
I have been assigned for you to oblige
I shall never tire
For which you must admire
Life is full of satire
Will aggravate more if put on fire
Life is never offered again
So think like sun and remain
In full fray when time is opportune
Every thing is subject to decay and not immune
The sun may rise and set
So be in command and never get late
Any time clouds may cover the sun
You will have less time at disposal to run

His name
I hear a loud voice in morning "Allah Akbar"
It is heard across the town and even very far
I come out from the bed and look at the bright star
Same glittering and light even placed among small stars
What a pleasant morning to feel with his name!
One may wonder with the little thought "from where he came"
It is time to bow head and offer earnest prayers
Then to prepare for other activities as players
Why other religious places too lag behind?
Same meaning but with different slogan to find
Remember almighty for his graceful act
Owe everything to him for this known fact
O lord Ram or Allah Akbar I honestly swear
I am not afraid from life but have only one fear
Never subject us to feel pain and shed the tears
Only bless us each morning for your name to hear
Even if we are fast asleep you repeat the same cycle
Come out from your vault and make the full circle
Da
y and night take place and make beautiful round
Where on earth human beings find it around!
Kindness emerge all of sudden whenever I see at the cross
Force me to think twice whether life was not at total loss
Did I perform any act that can be detrimental to my faith?
What will I answer when I shall see thou after the death?
I open the eyes gracefully and thank almighty
What a day to enjoy and feel with simple beauty!
Everywhere to see colorful birds and enjoy melody
Endeavour to feel "he belongs to all and not to somebody"
It is time to start with day's routine
Duties and rights both combine
It may be only option to feel fine
As his presence is very much divine
* Lord Ram.. Worshipped by Hindu*
*Allaho Akbar……. BY Muslims*

Bredon Hill
In summertime on Bredon
The bells they sound so clear;
Round both the shires they ring them
In steeples far and near,
A happy noise to hear.
Here of a Sunday morning
My love and I would lie,
And see the coloured counties,
And hear the larks so high
About us in the sky.
The bells would ring to call her
In valleys miles away:
'Come all to church, good people;
Good people, come and pray.
But here my love would stay.
And I would turn and answer
Among the springing thyme,
'Oh, peal upon our wedding,
And we will hear the chime,
And come to church in time.
But when the snows at Christmas
On Bredon top were strewn,
My love rose up so early
And stole out unbeknown
And went to church alone.
They tolled the one bell only,
Groom there was none to see,
The mourners followed after,
And so to church went she,
And would not wait for me.
The bells they sound on Bredon,
And still the steeples hum.
'Come all to church, good people,' -
Oh, noisy bells, be dumb;
I hear you, I will come.

The Katydids
Sometimes I keep
From going to sleep,
To hear the katydids 'cheep-cheep!'
And think they say
Their prayers that way;
But _katydids_ don't have to _pray_!
I listen when
They cheep again
And so, I think, they're _singing_ then!
But, no; I'm wrong,--
The sound's too long
And all-alike to be a song!
I think, 'Well, there!
I do declare,
If it is neither song nor prayer,
It's _talk_--and quite
Too vain and light
For me to listen to all night!'
And so, I smile,
And think,--'Now I'll
Not listen for a little while!'--
Then, sweet and clear,
Next '_cheep_' I hear
'S a _kiss_.... Good morning, Mommy dear!

Why There's No Peace
Too many people are half asleep.
With one eye closed,
And the other that peeks.
When they are alone,
They hear a door that creaks.
And maybe to their feet,
They just might leap!
Where is that peace,
We've been praying to believe in?
And where do gossipers at night go?
The ones who claim to see,
Everything from their windows?
Too many people are half asleep.
With one eye closed,
And the other that peeks.
When they are alone,
They hear a door that creaks.
And maybe to their feet,
They just might leap!
Nobody's feeling safe behind doors anymore.
And those who snore loudly,
Are told they bore!
Where is that peace,
We've been praying to believe in?
Too many people are half asleep.
Where is that peace,
We've been praying to believe in?
Too many people are half asleep.
And where do gossipers at night go?
The ones who claim to see,
Everything from their windows?
Nobody's feeling safe behind doors anymore.
And those who snore loudly,
Are told they bore!
Too many people are half asleep.
And bored with each other,
That is why there's no peace!
Too many people are half asleep.
And bored with each other,
That is why there's no peace!
Too many people are half asleep.
Too many people are half asleep.
And bored with each other,
That is why there's no peace!

Dont Listen/ listen
Don't listen when they tell you that you can't be somebody well known someday
Don't listen
to the stupid remarks people say
Don't listen
when people spread rumors.
Listen
when people give you advise
Listen
when they try to bring you spirit high
Listen
because they always try to help you.
Don't listen
to the people who try to get you high
Don't listen
to the people who lie
Don't listen
to the people who tell you that your ugly.
Listen
to the people who make you smile
Listen
to the people and get to know them for a while
Listen
to the people for you may learn something everyday.

Domestic Duties and Chores
I wash myself and brush my teeth
comb my hair and spray beneath.
I put on some clothes, socks and shoes
and wonder about the household dues.
I feed the birds and water the plants
and practice a karate tai-chi dance.
I say my prayers and also meditate
and rest a while in a peaceful state.
I sweep the floors and mop them too
vacuum the carpet and clean the loo.
I have some breakfast in the morning
and later on prepare for the evening.
I check for any mail and bring it all in
then consider what to throw in the bin.
I read and write about what interests me
and if necessary go on a shopping spree.
I cut the grass and also trim the edges
clear the dust away from window ledges.
I occasionally have to prune garden shrubs and trees
and also to rake in and dispose of most of the leaves.
I usually manage to pay most of the rates and bills on time
and then wonder how or why people get involved in crime.
I generally try to do what I seem to know is best
and in doing so hope to pass my routine daily test.
If there are somethings that I have left out
there's a way by which I eventually find out.
I just do what I can and leave the rest to God
Who reminds me now and again what is odd.

God, Please Hear
God please hear my strongest appeal
I must quit this world in sense and actual
I feel discontented and resentful in real
As this is inner conscious urge and call
I don’t feel comfortable with people
Even though I am alright and capable
Beautiful land with all the resources at disposal
I always enjoy melody on cuckoo’s arrival
I find in her voice religious input and chanting
All hymns and prayers automatically compose and start emanating
That makes me not to go to any other place to hear
Your voice is heard there choked with pain to bear
You may be lamenting overall trend in general
People may not hesitate to kill and stage a funeral
Life has just become a curse and pawn in somebody’s hand
We can’t make out who is arch rival or reliable friend
Deception and treachery has formed the basic principles
Long queues are seen at religious place to become disciples
It not for offering prayers or helping the poor and needy
But to help the influential to accumulate more and become greedy
It has become ritual to pass on everything
Blame the luck, almighty and do nothing
I feel like to cry and weep with the tears
How far shall I stay here to witness and bear?
I don’t want to run away in fact
But I can’t be party to such acts
I have no power to rise in rebellion and react
As they are powerful enough to exert and assert
I enjoy the life with complete freedom
But in fact strangulate me and joy is seldom
“You must vacate the place” chides the wisdom
No use to say on land even if given a kingdom
Guide me with some discourses to stay
Keep me near with spirit and not push away
Neither shall I have courage to end holy mission
Nor to carry on with guilty conscious admission

Come Listen To The Music
I hear the music of the heavenly angels
Coming softly through the blue sky from above
Blending with the music from on the mountain tops
Bringing to all earth's people messages of love.
The song birds are singing to the angels' music
Telling us to hear the words of truth very clear,
"All of earth's people are more alike than different
And to help each other will leave no room for fear".
Come listen to the music of quiet gentle breezes
And music from wild flowers growing on the hill
Whispering softly to awaken our spirits
Saying, "Only listen and let your hearts be still,
So to hear the music from the living waters
That can bring abundance wherever there is need,
Can heal all broken hearts burdened with sorrow,
And can free the people caught by their fears and greed".
Listen to music from the world's throbbing heartbeat
Commanding its people to live in true harmony
By hearing the voices of heavenly angels
Singing love, joy, and peace can be our destiny.
Listen to the music in kind smiling faces
And the music of a child laughing gleefully
Both creating music with notes of "Just Caring".
Won't you please come listen to this music with me?

Ramadan and Old Friends
How is it nice to see old friends?
When they are almost to their near ends
None of them complains about lost love
Happily stay far and finally drove
It is happy Ramadan month
I would love to mention it forth
How I missed a bus but got a friend?
She was almost there in the green field
Life is so dear and even made dear
Wanting to spend rest of life and stay near
How come those sentiments flooding clear mind
Every moment is to be searched and get no wild
She will praise for my poems
More so of its contents and themes
The feelings, human touch and belonging
The pure thought process and its on going
I am moved by her depth of love and understanding
She has great urge for fight and then suddenly urge for mending
This all makes her important in my eyes
All my great thought and idea too almost flies
It is holy month and she may be fasting
Yet her love and attachment is ever lasting
She did put some of the words very clear
I have to take it honestly and keep no fear
I too believed that it is equally important
To follow the true path and learn instant
What is real truth behind all great festivals?
As they appear once in a year with intervals
I spare maximum time in conversation
Listen to friends and answer the questions
They may have their own feelings and sentiments
I try to hear patiently and offer suitable comments
She may be offering prayers
Passing from this earthly layers
To the sky and almighty
To justify upon being purged and feel happy
When you hide nothing and keep heart pure?
You are near to him for sure
As love is also another name of dedication
As you move in with blessings as clear indication
She has put to me number of times
That she wants always happiness and smiles
She can grant it through her well wishes
As it will be her endeavor till she perishes
I wish I could be with her forever
As it was dreamed never
Yet today when I look back for her
I feel sense of proud and honor

Some People Listen Some People Don't
You judge me before my words can come out
You can’t even look my way
And you leave me with no doubt
You won’t listen to a word I say
And I will never be heard by you
No matter what it is that I do
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t
You shut me up before I can speak
You shut me up so you can keep me weak
Now I breaking all your rules
That you have made just for me
To keep me away from my history
From my strength and my dignity
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t
You don’t know how many times I have prayed
That you would hear the words that I have to say
Now get out of the way
Because we no longer have to stay in this prison of the mind
Because we find you guilty of the ultimate crime
Now get out of the way
So that they can hear what I have to say
And begin to make their plans for escape today
Even though you made me a thug,
It is out of love that I put my message out
Find your voice in school and follow the Golden Rule
And shout it out, with out a doubt
That you will be heard, until you are heard
Right down to the very last word
Some people listen some people don’t
Some people listen some people won’t

My Fears, My Tears
Tears in my eyes clouding
my every dream
fears on my mind as
another one leaves this team
Church bell chimes
as the undertaker prepares
as another one dies
as we all start to face our fears
Guide me oh lord in
this time of need
keep my head above the
water as i cry for a friend indeed
I stand in black and wipe my tears
and hope one day
you'll hear my prayers
I shake a little sand
and pass the coffin gently
asked him if his in peace
as i take my sit quietly
