Missing puzzle
They talk of the puzzle that has the missing piece,
But none mention the piece with the missing puzzle,
It's hard when there is nowhere to turn for release,
And searches for acceptance lead to refusal,
It pains me to hear puzzles constantly complain,
For the piece with a missing puzzle cries in vain,
They try to fit in places that they never can,
And end up with a life like that of a cursed man,
They can pretend they are another puzzle piece,
And then try forcing themselves into a puzzle,
But it will hurt them until they crave for release,
And acknowledge their prospective host's refusal,
They will surely be doomed to tiresomely roam,
In a vain search for a place that they can call home,
Till they declare themselves a puzzle of their own,
And then learn how to be content being alone.

Must Keep Thinking
These wheels in my brain
just keep on turning
and as they turn
they keep me yearning.
For there's so much to know
and times moves too fast.
Will my brain keep working?
Oh please let it last.
My dad got dementia
and he would forget.
What are my chances?
Is it Russian roulette?
I do crossword puzzles
and write everyday.
I listen to people
to remember what they say.
I make myself lists
and write things down.
I listen to music
and all sounds around.
At the end of my day
I find that I pray
for my wheels to keep turning
and never stop burning
for there's still so much to know.

Poetry and the crossword puzzle
Poetry is like a crossword puzzle the right pieces must be in the right places to understand the meaning.
It can be very deceiving.
To the one who is over achieving
Still I'm only learning
In the eyes I'm seeing as I'm reading
Focus now and you'll start retrieving
Poetry is like a crossword puzzle the right pieces must be in the right places to understand the meaning.

To the one who is over achieving
Still I'm only learning
In the eyes I'm seeing as I'm reading
Focus now and you'll start retrieving
If I start bleeding you'll know why
I did just too much with my eye's
They have been compromised

The Puzzle
friends are like a puzzle
fitting together in so many ways
sometimes it seems like a piece is missing
sometimes it seems like everythings just right
sometimes it seems like things are falling apart
friendship like a puzzle is hard to figure out
sometimes puzzle pieces disappear
and sometimes they never come back
so my puzzle, your puzzle, our puzzle must be completed
there is only one thing that can complete the puzzle
a piece of every friends heart
our puzzle is what holds us together
my puzzle is complete
all friends are happy
all hearts are here
the friendship puzzle is complete

Math, it's a puzzle to me. I love figuring out puzzles.
It's the boredom that kills you. You read until you're tired of that. You do crossword puzzles until you're tired of that. This is torture. This is mental torture.

Earthsick
Rotate your point of view
Concrete surrounds you
It used to be a field where we all played
Suspend your disbelief
This world became a thief
To the beautiful things that flourished in your day
Thats why I say
Stop, stop the world I said
Stop, stop, stop the world
Because I want to get off
Want to get off
Want to get off
Its making me earthsick
Substitute what is now for what had used to be
Old or new, everybodys got to pick
Its making me earthsick
My head keeps spinning
Progress is winning
I dont recognize the place where I grew up
This is no fantasy
The ground beneath your feet
Will soon be a store with things that you dont need
Thats why I plead

0364 Poetry reads; poetry speaks
It’s like an adult version of a parlour game, isn’t it?
a sorta cross between a single-handed game of patience
and a crossword puzzle where the guy who set the puzzle
is always a step at least ahead of you dammit
and knows there’s a perfect solution
only known to him, or Him
so here I am, shuffling these black-and-white
(well, kinda browny-maroon on this site)
soundless things which are supposed to be
sounds in my ear and mind which
by mad optimism forever proved somewhat
or totally wrong in experience
are supposed to come out the other end
into your ear and mind in a vaguely
similar manner – allowing for the fact
that if you’re of a critical cast then
you’ll have a superior ear and mind
to mine anyway so that’s a mess for a start
and I suppose the same applies if
you have an inferior - oh forget it
so forget for the moment
this creeping disorder of rather dumb
black and white caterpillars making their humpy
busy-legged but corporately slow
progress across the page in a
disorderly snaky line, arguing among themselves
trying to remember (ah yes, Plato,
trying to remember) like
a Spanish bus-queue, whom they’re
behind and whom they’re in front of
if and when the bus comes, while they
chatter in little groups among themselves –
where was I, ah yes, forget
the black-and-white on paper, and rhyme
or not, and all that technical stuff
which you’re not suppose to notice anyway
and know that what
I really want to do is
take your two hands gently in mine and
smiling, look you straight in the eye
and say
when all’s said and done
and that may take a little time,
and to coin a cliché which
I’m not apologising for, but
forget it’s supposed to be poetry and
listen to my sincere voice saying
isn’t it a wonderful world?

Disgraced Spiritualism...
Fake spiritualists drive me irate,
Disturbances kill the natural flow,
People procrastinate,
The word puzzles embedded with highly spiritualistic quotes,
Nothing to act just knowledge overflows,
People hallucinate and cover a blanket of enlightened soul,
Discussing the secrets of Karma, Mantra, Time and Space,
These discussions have slayed hourglasses at stretch,
Why don't they work over their mistakes,
The beards hinder the lips that advertise the masked faces,
They fail at action and end up with the curled efforts.
Hey you all please try and act,
Stop your disgraced nonsense,
Don't haunt for peace,
Its not the thing to do,
Stop being egotist,
Loo for the hollowness,
This would really help.
I am no one to pick mistakes,
But actions simplify the paths,
Stop plucking your witty knots.

To Dream On A Dance
Bowing my back, ploughing through the
storm whirling construction terms for the
new railway line, making progress, relaxed
then lost my way in Excel, lines to be trans-
ferred blocked by columns not merged
causing emotional distress
French preparation at home, once again
numbers for telling the time to be learned,
mind going up in flames - anxiety chokes
the life out of me, watching a dance on TV,
an energising jive, vitality restored, feeling
delighted enthusiasm again
Buffeted by emotion I beg indulgence when
I refuse to focus on suffering and pain, only
by keeping my eye on good things can I try
to weather life without total collapse and to
dream on a dance strengthens me to face
the crossword puzzles life throws at us
Numbers drive me nuts while art forms in
elegant lines, music and dance; rekindle
memories of beautiful dreams enriching
the fount of ideas shining like millions of
prisms reflecting reality in countless
colour, form and sound frequencies

Puzzle Solved
Forming a puzzle in front of my vision,
I have quests and solutions for them;
The inspiration from the Devil is immense,
Strict peace is observed without him.
The demons are against the solution of a puzzle,
For the evil of the deeds are to be kept.
One puzzle is like two pens at work,
This conjures the vision of a dream to write.
Visions are displayed by me and my thoughts,
I see the quiz of times and see their demons.

My Puzzle Of Dreams
Raindrops falling down from the sky
Feeling empty inside
Searching for reasons to hold on
No one sees the struggle in me
Or the wounds that won't heel
Victim of choices that i'm making
(Welcome)
Welcome to my puzzle of dreams
Baby welcome to my heart
Trying hard to find pieces
In this puzzle of dreams
Fighting way out of the dark
Meet my puzzle of dreams
Pictures spinning round in my head
Feels that i'm almost there
But when i reach out it falls apart
In my mind I know what is real
Feel the power in me
Inside of my heart I have it all
When the hopes keep on fading
All the pieces I'm saving
Remind me that I am strong enough to
Make my puzzle of dreams

Our Journey
Our journey
Been lots of bump in road
We can't do anything right because of each other
Everyone is blaming us
They are tiring of us complainting about each other
They just don't act like they do
It wasn't time that got in our way
It was you and me
I finally understand
Our journey
We try to work things out but,
No matter how hard we try it don't work
So we need to just stop and forget each other
We need stop making each other jealous
When we know that we are going to end up hurting the one we love
It's not worth anymore
We are not destiny for each other
There plently other people in this world beside each other
We just need to take it slow
Even though we might think about each other one day, well we shouldn't
There is nothing left to do
I'm through with this for good
We need to move on in separate direction
Our journey

Whatever It Takes!
fuel prices keep rising,
and it trickles down.
grocery prices skyrocket,
people walking behind empty buggies.
small businesses shutting down,
people left without work.
either the rent, the light bill,
or a little something to eat,
you've gotta choose.
over half the people in this country
on the edge of going under.
and it's as bad or worse
around the world.
where does it stop?
where does it end?
the elite continue making money
on the backs of the poor.
starting wars, drilling for oil,
making closed door deals.
and the anger rises, simmers,
and threatens to boil.
the only hope for the future
is an equal distribution of goods,
a system where everybody
that will work has a chance.
now the question is
what does it take
for that to happen.
do we have to burn Rome down again?
whatever it takes...
now is the time!
