One cannot help being impressed by the protesters. They have begun each day of the protest in Kiev in prayer and all activities are accomplished with a collective sense of respect, kindness, and an intention to conduct a peaceful revolution.

All Day In Bed To Rest
So peaceful is the sleep,
That comes without upsetting news.
So peaceful is it,
To close one's eyes...
And not think of anything else,
Important left to do.
So peaceful too it is,
To know our neighbors ears...
Aren't pressed against the walls,
To listen to hear what's going on in our space...
Because they are not impressed by it at all.
So peaceful to know there is shared respect.
And a concern that is shown...
Known and it protects.
So peaceful is the rest one gets,
Just knowing one's life...
Is complete with happiness.
And with no regrets...
One can leave from one's doorstep,
And come back to be welcomed...
By the Sunrise, Noon and even Sunset.
If one chooses to stay,
All day in bed to rest.

Mubarak’s Television Speech Orders Coded Tahrir Square Attack
After ordering teargas, rubber bullets, baton charges
after secret police beat isolated protesters with iron bars
demonstrators continue to vent their righteous fury
fueled by repression, poverty, unemployment, corruption.
President Mubarak making public appearance on state
pose television said “It is not by setting fire and by
attacking private and public property that we achieve
the aspirations of Egypt and its sons but they will be
achieved through dialogue, awareness and effort.”
True protesters rejected your tactics adopted peaceful protest.

Today is rebels' day. And yet we work
Today is rebels' day. And yet we work—
All of us rebels, until day is done.
And when the stars come out we celebrate
A revolution that's not yet begun.
Today is rebels' day. And men in jail
Tread the old mill-round until day is done.
And when night falls they sit alone to brood
On revolution that's not yet begun.
Today is rebels' day. Let all of us
Take courage to fight on until we're done—
Fight though we may not live to see the hour
The Revolution's splendidly begun.

Yet Heard To Speak Specifically
I have never been one to hang onto,
A false sense of stability.
'Great.
Now...
Where is that coming from? '
Those who protest and their rallies.
They may not have a collective voice,
That is yet heard to speak specifically.
But one thing is very clear...
They may be declared mavericks.
But it is no mistaking they've grown tired,
Of their conformist positions.
I can not think of one thing specific,
That has directly affected such a downslide...
Of a quality of life overnight.
And yet those threatened by their elitist status,
Being attacked...
Have themselves become questioned.
And it seems as if,
Not one can lead with dependable leadership.
And...
Has of yet,
With their influence...
Corrected anything specifically,
In a collective direction that unifies.

Too Many Have Suppressed Their Depressions
Too many have suppressed their depressions.
And had shied away from expressing they are upset.
Protesters seem to be doing their best,
To be civilized with the hiding of their regrets.
With a wish they had not let themselves,
Gather into the streets to protest a greed.
When those homeless and needing to eat,
And a place to sleep...
Should have long ago sent warnings,
How those who are obviously in need...
Could be easily ignored by those who continue,
To feast as if nothing else is noticed.
Too many have suppressed their depressions.
And no longer shy away from expressing they are upset.
Protesters seem to be doing their best,
To be civilized with the hiding of their regrets...
With a wish they had not let themselves,
Gather into the streets to protest a greed.
Believing themselves to be right.
Because they are mostly...
Well,
Fighters for fading entitlements...
That are being erased from their eyesights.
And if this was not happening to them at all,
It would be poverty as usual...
For 'those' people to experience.
You know...
The ones too lazy to get a job.
Or find a decent wage to feed themselves and families.
Under a roof they can afford.
You know...
'Those' people who had never been accepted,
By the whims of 'them' with their selected druthers.

In Your Conduct
See no evil and do no evil!
Being peaceful to one another is better than throwing bombs;
And be upright in your conduct and in your conversation.
Upright and loving-kindness!
For the little that a righteous person does have is,
Better than the great riches of the wicked ones!

This Is My Prayer For You
Peaceful valleys, mountaintops
No dark alleys, or sudden stops
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you
Love is calling, starry skies
Always falling, but not for lies
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you
Chorus:
May all your sweet dreams go unbroken
May every wish youve ever spoken
Come true
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you
Celebrations, true blue friends
Revelations, and a heart that mends
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you
Repeat chorus
Arms that welcome, doors opened wide
All your loved ones, gathered by your side
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you
May all your days be filled with laughter
May all your prayers be quickly answered
This is my prayer
This is my prayer for you

Defying A Protest Response Egyptian Curfew
Mubarak called for stability
but this late political appeal
appeared to cut rigid little no ice
with inflamed reform protesters
who surged onto Egyptian streets
immediately as Mubarak finished
speaking defying a protest response
curfew as other hard line protesters
who had earlier been pressure forced
into nearby side streets by military
could be heard chanting 'People
want to change the regime'
immediately after Mubarak's
broadcast to the nation finished
daring defiance foretells regime end

Respect To It
Respect to it has more than a one sided way
Do not expect the respect of others if respect to them you don't pay
You treat other people as you'd like them to treat you
And in turn they will give you the respect you are due
You may be the wealthiest and most powerful person in your town
And you feel that you have the right for to put others down
And others respect you or so to you it does appear
But between feigned and true respect the difference is quite clear
Despotic leaders believe the masses them do revere
But this sort of feigned adulation is adulation through fear
To protest in such circumstance they'd be risking their own lives
And the lives of their children as well as their wives
If you do not respect then respect do not expect to receive
Just a known fact of life that one ought to believe.

The Cost of Freedom
Syria...
violence in the streets...
peaceful protesters
marching for human rights,
equality, and change
being slaughtered
by their own government...
now here...
shadows of Kent State...
common people
pushed to the edge
in the battle for
survival, human dignity,
and hope for a future...
already abandoned
by our own government...
will it take being
killed to get their attention?
will it take dying
to give our children
a chance?
you say it cant happen here!
open your eyes, your ears,
your hearts...
it's already begun!
what is the cost of freedom?

Collective
Collective, it, let, lot, Cole, Lot, colt, cove, tell, cot;
And like a pale dog in your garden!
Collective, live, cell, toll, tie, lie, tell, vet, elect, love;
And like the prayer of the poor! !
But appalling and horrible things are now seen connected in the land of your muse.

Rebellista
I've been called a rebellista.
Because I protest,
The affects of...
Subliminally applied,
Genocide.
And I am fated to be labelled.
As my activities are criticized.
My eyes are too widely opened.
My empathy connects to humanity.
I witness injustices and quick to speak
I am affected emotionally,
With the grief I see on urban streets.
I've been called a rebellista.
Because I protest,
The affects of...
Subliminally applied,
Genocide.
And I am fated to be labelled.
As my activities are critized.
I am not considered a terrorist.
Or thought of to threaten as a spy.
I am just ignored and ostracized!
With a noneffective influence.
A leper considered to be one distanced.
'If you don't like it here...
Go back to from where you came.'
Says the minister on the streets...
During the performance of his outreach.'

Show Courtesy Respect
Do not time respect
seasoned age because
someone is now old
show sincere respect to all
but respect most
motivation and heart
of people worthy
of matured respect.
Show courtesy respect
to all suffering humanity
polite considerate conduct
in face of flood adversity
who knows true history
each soul life endured suffers
hurt response to hostilities
only God perceives accurately.

It Should Behoove
None of it makes sense.
And that is the intention.
The suppressed have always felt...
They could not deal with it at all.
They were used to peddle issues to confuse,
Suckered suburbanites believing their lifestyles excite.
Keeping this cat and mouse game teased...
While thieves in suits ran off with the cheese!
None of it makes sense.
And that is the intention.
Slums are created for ghetto-ites...
To endorse services for the poor and homeless,
Everyone ignores.
Egos are fed by those leading missionary tours.
Giving 'insight' on what those tax dollars pay for!
But none of this picturesque bliss...
Trickles down to provide hope for those helpless!
If there was any sensibility...
Some of this investment,
Would have provided an upward mobility!
But common sense and greed...
Have not proven to be good sleeping companions!
None of it makes sense.
And that is the intention...
For those whose minds do not seem to operate,
On the same levels of their stated greatness!
Even though nothing what is done makes sense...
Intentionally!
It should behoove someone to realize,
Only fools can move ignorance to new lows of endeavors!

Peaceful Revolution
Its good to be alive in the peaceful revolution
An honor to observe the beautiful solution
I tip my hat to we the people in order to form a more perfect world
This shall come to pass
The beginning of the end
Of the ignorance that once could sin
The tyrant to power
His day is done
In the worldwide revolution
Yeah

Protest, The Art Of Change
in order for peaceful protests
to wield the power to change...
we cant just protest against,
we must also protest for!
if we're protesting against
the financial inequalities
in this country or abroad....
we have to have specific changes,
and a specific plan in mind.
and we have to be united on this!
tax the rich, stop the oil wars,
reopen our factories....
put our people back to work....
make 'made in America' mean
something again!
stop the use of illicit drugs.
prosecute doctors who randomly
presribe pills!
prosecute anyone who buys an
underage hooker for the evening.
teach our children respect...
begins at home, with mother
and father respecting each other.
respect for other races, other faiths,
different sexual orientation...
R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
absolutely run the gangs
out of our communities!
you do this by giving these
kids hope... for a better way of life!
redo the justice system
from top to bottom....
equal rights means equal justice...
not judges for hire!
any country that can wage illicit
wars around the world
can more reasonably afford
to feed and house its children!
we need to sit down together,
white, black, Asian, Native American,
and Hispanic...
and formulate a plan, a goal,
and a way to get there.
leave your petty grievances at home...
our congress has done enough of that!
united, and focused,
we can make a difference!
and it begins now....
peaceful, and committed
to freedom... for each and all!
