Whispers Of The North
Whispers of the north
Soon I will go forth
To that wild and barren land
Where nature takes its course
Whispers of the wind
Soon I will be there again
Bound with a wild and restless drive
That pulls me from within
And we can ride away
We can glide all day
And we can fly away
Whispers of the north
Soon I will return again
To those endless afternoons
In sunshine and in rain
Whispers of my love
Days and weeks on end
I will share my thoughts of her
In prayers that I will send
And we can ride away
We can glide all day
And we can fly away
Whispers of the north
The river and the shore
In the land that tested eskimos
Ten thousand years before
Whispers of my heart
In the tracks of animals
I will leave my footprints there
To lie beneath the snow
And we can ride away
We can glide all day
And we can fly away
Whispers of the wind
I will feel it sting
I will see it rise and fall
I will hear it sing
The sound is like a song to me
It takes away the pain
The river is the melody
And sky is the refrain
And we can ride away
We can glide all day
And we can fly away
And we can ride away
We can glide all day
And we can fly away
Whispers of the north
Soon I will go forth
Whispers of the north
Soon I will go forth

Rewrites
there are works that wont be finished
after a thousand rewrites
the mind holds a larger sky
the years glide like the leaves
in the flame of autumn
and you hold the thought that
the pastiche of thoughts can look
a better season with time
like how wine matures
There are works that wont be finished
after a thousand rewrites
and after years that glide away
like leaves blasting the red of autumn
you hold the thought that the pastiche
of your thoughts can look
better than it should
There are works that won't be finished
after a thousand rewrites
the years glide away
like red leaves blasting autumn
your mind turns and turns and
you still find a larger sky coming your way
to improve the flow of your verses

Magic Carpet Ride
Take me for a magic carpet ride.
Let that magic carpet glide
slowly so I can see
all the places where misery
lives every day.
Let it glide over Iraq
so I can see why our boys can't come back
to their babies and wives
and try best they can to get on with their lives.
Let it glide over the Gaza strip
where two nations are joined at the hip
and don't even know it.
I can see the misery from where I sit.
Let it glide over the oil fields
where they pump the lifeblood that the earth yields.
Black gold all for a price
in a bloody war of sacrifice.
Let it glide over the African land
to help me try and understand
why all of its beauty and natural resource
is raped and pillaged with no remorse.
Let it glide over China's great wall
separating its people from the rest of us all,
where liberties are abused on every day,
where no one's allowed to have a say.
Let me glide over the Vatican
where so much praise is given one man.
Gold is there wherever I gaze.
Poverty forgotten, but not the praise.
Let me glide over the streets of our cities
where the smog is thick and makes you wheeze.
The homeless and beggars begging for change
in a land of freedom. I find that strange.
Take me back to my own little home
from wherever my carpet ride did roam.
I've seen too much misery for one long day.
It's time for me to lie down and pray.

Those Sneaky Backbiters That Glide In Sleaze
Those sneaky backbiters that glide in sleaze,
Adore the stench of it.
With campaigns to attract more,
To this mental disease.
Influenced by self hate.
With a debasement created and loved.
Those sneaky backbiters that glide in sleaze,
Are seen digging their own ditches quick...
To satisfy those embraces faced,
With others in filth and sludge to hug.
Those sneaky backbiters that glide in sleaze,
Entrenched in tracks with that to leave.
And quite excited in self righteous ways...
When investments tossed away from unsaved youth,
Delights them with an ignorance...
That keeps them all enslaved!

The Stream.
God but knows what path
This small stream must take,
Through what gleams and glooms
Which the years shall make.
In what ways austere
May these waters glide
Ere they have their part
In the timeless tide!

Son and Sun
The sun, oh how it does shine brightly.
The Son, how bravely he stands alone.
The Son, oh how he touch life lightly.
The sun, how it does bring us home.
Glide home sun, glide home.
Ride home Son, ride home.

out of the chrysanthemum
three inchworms doing
a glide dance
too bright a stage

Precious Memories
As I travel down lifes pathway,
Know not what the years may hold.
As I ponder, hopes grow fonder,
Precious memories flood my soul
Precious father, loving mother,
Glide across the lonely years.
And old homes scenes of my childhood
In fond memory appears.
Precious memories, how they linger
How they ever flood my soul.
In the stillness of the midnight,
Precious sacred scenes unfold.

Precious sacred scenes unfold

Remembrance of Collins
Composed upon the Thames near Richmond
Glide gently, thus for ever glide,
O Thames! that other bards may see
As lovely visions by thy side
As now, fair river! come to me.
O glide, fair stream! for ever so,
Thy quiet soul on all bestowing,
Till all our minds for ever flow
As thy deep waters now are flowing.
Vain thought!--Yet be as now thou art,
That in thy waters may be seen
The image of a poet's heart,
How bright, how solemn, how serene!
Such as did once the Poet bless,
Who murmuring here a later ditty,
Could find no refuge from distress
But in the milder grief of pity.
Now let us, as we float along,
For 'him' suspend the dashing oar;
And pray that never child of song
May know that Poet's sorrows more.
How calm! how still! the only sound,
The dripping of the oar suspended!
--The evening darkness gathers round
By virtue's holiest Powers attended.

The Word
I have an easy beauty one that is happy.
I glide on the surface of winds.
I glide on the surface of seas
I have grown sentimental
I no longer know the guide
I no longer move silk over ice
I am diseased flowers and stones
I love the most chinese of nudes
I love the most naked lapses of wings
I am old but here I am beautiful
And the shadow that flows from the deep windows
Each evening spares the dark heart of my stare.

Can You Keep A Secret?
I glide my pen
to outwit myself
been stagnant for so long
doesnt help
I lost my sense
and humor to wit
I lost the sweet the whiteness of my teeth
brightness and bread
has been asleep
misunderstood as always been
sweet existence of my cunning desires
cant express in a bottles of beer
I love to glide
to channel my love
my secret desire to read and write

RainCoveredSKY
The sky is Western Covered sky dark for half the canopy is covered up the smell of rain filters down some conflicting with the surroundings the landscaping the hey fever springing here nearby. The birds were swimming in the sky the western sky with wings folded they glide then extend the wings again then fold them back confused by the wind in western sky. They glide then fly then glide. The poet however must walk than lamely then halting lame he walks under the western sky rain never falls but clouds roll out of the valley walls but back they come as poet walks. He walks and as he limps along he notices them the gliding flying birds are gone.

Years 1
For years I let the torment go on
Years I let you get in my head
Years I had to cry myself to sleep
your out now and last night
what you did to me replayed in my head again
I told myself i wasn't going to let it happen but it did
For years I have lived in scared quarters
For years I have looked for your face
For years I have never felt safe
For years I have remembered

A Petition To Time
TOUCH us gently, Time!
Let us glide adown thy stream
Gently,—as we sometimes glide
Through a quiet dream.
Humble voyagers are We,
Husband, wife, and children three—
(One is lost,—an angel, fled
To the azure overhead.)
Touch us gently, Time!
We ’ve not proud nor soaring wings:
Our ambition, our content,
Lies in simple things.
Humble voyagers are We,
O’er Life’s dim, unsounded sea,
Seeking only some calm clime;—
Touch us gently, gentle Time!

New years Eve Dance
This new years eve
I willl dance
With the hands of time
For I know her moves
For we have danced
From time to time
She going forward
While me looking back
Both knowing no future
Till it has come to pass
Oh how funny we look
As we glide across the floor
Never knowing where we'll end up
When the dance is no more
Will it leave me a better man
Or a mess for all to see
All I know for certain
That there's a dance
Waiting somewhere for me
To hold it so very close
For a moment it may only be
But sometimes my friend
Those moments last
For an eternity

In Fear
You ride.
I don't.
I walk.
You glide.
I feel.
You observe.
I see.
You wish.
I touch.
You read.
I am there.
You are not.
I walk.
You ride.
I cry.
You wonder.
Why?
I walk.
Why?
I talk.
Why?
I know them,
And myself.
Denied.
We all sit down and cry...
For you.
And the view of you ahead,
That comes!
You ride.
I don't.
I walk.
You glide.
I feel.
You observe.
I see.
You wish.
I touch.
You read.
I am there.
You are not.
I walk.
You run.
Stunned in fear.

Years of Tears
Years of tears for no ears to hear, lonely for years am I
Years of tears for no ears to hear in silence they dropp and die
Years of tears, hidden deep, I cannot weep, nor cry.
Years of tears, for many fears of dying alone, I sigh.
Years of tears which no one hears as many years go by.
Years of tears in the lonely sky, my tears grow wings and fly.
Years of tears, my smile shines, through its little lines, I lie.
Years of tears, my somber peers through my melancholy eye
Tears of tears, Years of Years, in my soul, I tie.
Years of tears for no ears to hear my tears weep goodbye….
