Though the proverb is abandoned, it is not falsified.

Part of One's Performance
A falsified existence,
Can not purchase one respect...
OR integrity.
Even the act of removing one's mask,
Is thought to be part of one's performance.
Since the doing of it,
Appears to be a study done...
From a rehearsed premeditation.
A falsified existence allowed to deceive,
Vaingloriously...
In an extravagant self righteousness,
Dances with sadness as a companion.
To then excuse an inability to lead.
Or know anything,
About keeping in step...
With an accepted and established rhythm.

Until a friend or relative has applied a particular proverb to your own life, or until you've watched him apply the proverb to his own life, it has no power to sway you.

A proverb is the horse of conversation: when the conversation lags, a proverb revives it.
He Is Abandoned By The World
HE IS ABANDONED BY THE WORLD
He is abandoned by the world
Faces in the street pass by without speaking to him
The trees and the sky do not nod hello
He is cold and the wind does not care for him.
He is abandoned by the world
And all he has done
And all he has made
Mean nothing.
He is abandoned by the world.
And so he knows:
Every human being
who lives on this earth
will die
and not come back again.

Busy lovers guide - what proverbs foretell
'For talks six times
with the same single lady
you may get your wedding dress ready'
honestly believing on
this oldest proverb,
I started talking in my office
to the next seat lady
........... sixteen times a day
to double up the speed
but both of us are yet to know
when to get our coveted dresses ready
very lately I discover now....
the basics I missed, through another proverb
'Love ceases to be a pleasure
when it ceases to be a secret'

Of Evil Defined
An old Russian proverb that states: 'There can be no good without evil'.
All the world today is in an upheaval.
Let’s prevail to overcome all evil.
We all know there’s always a battle between good and evil.
For what is evil defined; One with a twisted mind.
And we all know that evil is in the back of everyone’s mind.
Always seeing evil can make us blind.
It can even make you loose your mind.
Just remember this proverb of mine: Good can prevail from all of mankind.

Who wants it at this stage?
The sinking ships are abandoned;
The ailing old are abandoned.
Their services are forgotten.
We ignore it till we become that.

Villanelle on a Proverb
The heart once broken is a heart no more.
—Edna St. Vincent Millay
The proverb says that time confers relief,
heals a crimson gash or knits whole a bone
and years unlock a knuckled fist of grief
that clenches emptiness in disbelief
to keep one's wits from being overthrown,
while time, the proverb says, confers relief
from cleaving wounds, paradoxical thief,
that also tears apart fused hearts grown
beyond the lock of knuckled-fisted grief
half-hearts collapsed empty in unbelief
at finalities beneath lids of stone,
while time, proverbially, confers relief
by bleaching wounds to scars—its chief
repair—but cannot heal a heart left alone
although the years unlock the fist of grief,
proclaiming the proverbial motif
that all wounds heal, time cannot atone
for vacancy. The proverb lies. Relief
unlocks a fist, but not the archived grief.

Smile Graveyard Truce
Smile graveyard truce:
I accept tombstones of doom,
I’ve abandoned promise,
I’ve abandoned love.
I’ve told death,
I’m your son,
Can we begin eternity?
