The best act of generosity is that which is quickly done.

Generosity during life is a very different thing from generosity in the hour of death; one proceeds from genuine liberality and benevolence, the other from pride or fear.

A compliment reflected
To praise the ‘generosity of soul’
in someone other – and that, to their face –
must be, to know that quality oneself;
and more, to be familiar in its use;
what splendour there of human character –
to link together these two noble words:
to recognise in others, one’s own soul;
and then, to see one’s generosity,
reflected in another’s qualities;
and then, to link the two as action seen,
joins mind, heart, soul, in generosity
in one that names and one that’s named, akin!
To show, and see, and praise, makes parity
in earth as is in heav’n: true charity.

Reformation
When the slavery was abolished,
The equality was not envisaged.
The equality has been established,
Thanks to the masters’ generosity.
Applauded is the generosity.
It’ll translate itself to fraternity.

And I don't say that we didn't expect it, but we were pleasantly surprised to see the generosity of their foreign policy; and the generosity of their foreign policy at that moment was expressed through the Marshall Plan.

My Canadian Chronicles 22
Sometimes we go to places
to meet strangers
whom have come into our lives
never knowing what we might find.
We are moved by their kindness
and their giving up their time
to take us here and there
wondering all the time
how we can repay their generosity.
We can give them our friendship,
but never feeling that is enough.
We can only offer what we can give
which in our case is not much
always hoping one day
we can treat them to the world.
Forever we will link hands
across the oceans wide
hoping all the time they will visit us
and we can extend the same generosity
that they have shown to us.

Liquid Generosity
The ocean offers her abundance;
Are you jealous of the ocean’s generosity?
Why would she refuse to give this gift to anyone?
Fish do not hold her sacred liquid in cups
They swim in huge liquid freedom…
Be a fish;
Swim in your boundless abundance
Share that abundance
Generosity is only limited by unwillingness

Offer
Who
Who am I to be blue
Look at my family and fortune
Look at my friends and my house
Who
Who am I to feel deadend
Who am I to feel spent
Look at my health and my money
And where
Where do I go to feel good
Why do I still look outside me
When clearly Ive seen it wont work
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraordinary
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
And why
Why do I feel so ungrateful
Me who is far beyond survival
Me who see life as an oyster
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraodinary
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
And how
How dare I rest on my laurels
How dare I ignore an outstretched hand
How dare I ignore a third world country
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraodinairy
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
Who
Who am I to be woo

Love Comes Quickly
Sooner or later, this happens to everyone
To everyone
You can live your life lonely
Heavy as stone
Live your life learning
And working alone
Say this is all you want
But I dont believe that its true
cause when you least expect it
Waiting round the corner for you
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
You can live a life of luxury
If thats what you want
Taste forbidden pleasures
Whatever you want
You can fly away to the end of the world
But where does it get you to?
cause just when you least expect it
Just what you least expect
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
I know it sounds ridiculous, but speaking from experience
It may seem romantic, and thats no defense
Love will always get to you
Sooner or later, sooner or later, this happens to everyone
To everyone
You can fly away to the end of the world
But where does it get you?
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
(oooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do
You cant stop falling (ooh ooh)

True Aussie Heroes And Heroines
From Victoria's bushfires great stories we hear
Stories of great courage in the face of fear
Stories of generosity and selflessness of the catastrophe abound
When heroes and heroines are needed they are to be found
Where hundreds of people and more than a million animals have died
And more than two thousand homes have been destroyed
Of courage and generosity the many cannot be denied
The heroes and heroines of Victoria's blackened countryside
The fire fighters and volunteers who risked their lives for others to save
Where courage is needed you will find the brave
The people who gave homes to the homeless the men and women who helped in every way
These are the true heroes and heroines of Australia's blackest ever day
The Aussie generosity and courage one has to admire
It surely did surface in Victoria's monster fire.

Moorish Mind.... Adult Nature
I want to rise upon the beast of no shame where lady love whimpers,
Breathless be thy name of mine Adonis,
My Lord whos generosity i besiege
Adonis be the air im unable to leave.
I want to snap as a twig beneath his mighty form and swaddle within the thighs of generosity warm,
Wish my tongue could know his scent as a dear old friend and mine ears could harness his words which he is generous to lend,
Towards the world i cannot.... but adore
Let me writhe in a moments mind passion, then ask for more, more, more

Forgive Me Quickly
If I showed you what you don't know,
Would I suffer...
If I listened to your life of misfortune?
If I showed you what you don't know,
Would you show me what I thought I knew?
If I showed you what you don't know,
Would I suffer...
If I listened to your life of misfortune?
Would I stop myself and realize...
Your life aint easy breezy.
Would you find it in your mind you'd be assessing me?
Or would you find it in your mind the need to forgive me,
Quickly!
Would I stop myself and realize...
Your life aint easy breezy.
Would you find it in your mind you'd be assessing me?
Or would you find it in your mind the need to forgive me,
Quickly!
Forgive me quickly!
Would you find it in your mind the need to forgive me,
Quickly!
Forgive me quickly!
Would you find it in your mind,
The need...
To forgive me,
Quickly!
Would you find it in your mind you'd be assessing me?
Or would you find it in your mind the need to forgive me,
Quickly!
Forgive me quickly!
Would you find it in your mind the need to forgive me,
Quickly!
Forgive me quickly!
Would you find it in your mind,
The need...
To forgive me,
Quickly!

The Visit
I went to visit you the other day,
a bunch of fresh cut flowers in my hand.
I only had a little time to spend-
Still you, I think, were glad to have me there.
I spoke about my troubles in your presence
You listen with an ever patient ear
You remind me that all trials are transient
That nothing dries as quickly as a tear.
Now that you and Mom are back together-
I can’t believe already it’s a year-
As often happens with long married hearts.
Does nothing dry as quickly as a tear?
With pain, I raise myself up from my knee
I say farewell with none around to hear
It’s just a lie we tell ourselves, my Da
That nothing dries as quickly as a tear.
