Moorish Mind.... Adult Nature
I want to rise upon the beast of no shame where lady love whimpers,
Breathless be thy name of mine Adonis,
My Lord whos generosity i besiege
Adonis be the air im unable to leave.
I want to snap as a twig beneath his mighty form and swaddle within the thighs of generosity warm,
Wish my tongue could know his scent as a dear old friend and mine ears could harness his words which he is generous to lend,
Towards the world i cannot.... but adore
Let me writhe in a moments mind passion, then ask for more, more, more

A Lament For Adonis
Cytherea, thy dainty Adonis is dying!
Ah, what shall we do?
O Nymphs, let it echo, the voice of your crying,
The greenwood through!
O Forest-maidens, smite on the breast,
Rend ye the delicate-woven vest!
Let the wail ring wild and high:
'Ah for Adonis!' cry.
O Sappho, how canst thou chant the bliss
Of Kypris — after such day as this?
'Oh Adonis, thou leavest me — woe for my lot!
And Eros, my servant, availeth me not!'
So wails Cytherea, grief-distraught.
'Who shall console me for thee? There is none —
Not Ares my god-lover, passionate one
Who sware in his jealousy forth to hale
Hephaestus my spouse from his palace, if he
Dared but to lift his eyes unto me.
Not he can console me, Adonis, for thee!'
Wail for Adonis, wail!
Always Be Mine [Collaboration with John Fihijin, Amanda Sorey, Shirley Muriti, Martin Musasa, Tom Huddings, Stembeni Moyo, Aquablue, Angella Singoranji]
[John Fihijin]
The days of the wind came,
The sunny days did also,
Yet on my shoulder you were,
To love and never let go,
To care and never leave
To be mine and always mine
[Amanda Sorey]
Such is my deepest thoughts,
The wonders that I dream,
To see your face always,
To feel your touch on and on,
The hopes of my mind,
Be mine always
[Shelly Muriti]
Getting hold of you arm,
So shall it be always me and you,
I shall smile and I shall cry,
I shall fall and I shall rise,
Yet you shall always be mine,
To love and to cherish
[Martin Musasa]
Mine forever, forever till infinity
With always one heart,
One soul and of cause one unit
Being so unique,
Unique for its aint ordinary love,
Being yours, being mine always
[Gaylord Munemo]
Me and you so perfectly fine,
Like a magnificent earthly wonder,
Passing through moments in time,
The need for lifetime assurance,
If tomorrow you'll always be mine,
To adore and to adorn forever
[Tom Huddings]
I met you and I knew it,
Always there in time,
To always feel the gap,
To always care and caress,
To be always mine,
Mine and forever mine alone
[Stembeni Moyo]
Be mine and everything will be fine,
You and I, we are born to fly,
I can see it in your shiny eyes,
Yes you wanna be mine,
Come along my love,
Be mine, together we will shine
[Aquablue]
Thats what I call love,
Just me and you alone,
Loving is right and leaving is wrong,
Stay with me for long,
Such love is so strong,
Babie always be mine
[Angela Singoranji]
The warmth you bring my love,
The tenderness like a dove,
Your breath so warm,
Always love me my love,
And I will always be yours,
So shall you always be mine

Offer
Who
Who am I to be blue
Look at my family and fortune
Look at my friends and my house
Who
Who am I to feel deadend
Who am I to feel spent
Look at my health and my money
And where
Where do I go to feel good
Why do I still look outside me
When clearly Ive seen it wont work
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraordinary
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
And why
Why do I feel so ungrateful
Me who is far beyond survival
Me who see life as an oyster
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraodinary
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
And how
How dare I rest on my laurels
How dare I ignore an outstretched hand
How dare I ignore a third world country
Is it my calling to keep on when Im unable
And is it my job to be selfless extraodinairy
And my generosity has me disabled
By this my sense of duty to offer
Who
Who am I to be woo

A compliment reflected
To praise the ‘generosity of soul’
in someone other – and that, to their face –
must be, to know that quality oneself;
and more, to be familiar in its use;
what splendour there of human character –
to link together these two noble words:
to recognise in others, one’s own soul;
and then, to see one’s generosity,
reflected in another’s qualities;
and then, to link the two as action seen,
joins mind, heart, soul, in generosity
in one that names and one that’s named, akin!
To show, and see, and praise, makes parity
in earth as is in heav’n: true charity.

Holiday
Well she's all you'd ever want,
She's the kind they'd like to flaunt and take to dinner.
Well she always knows her place.
She's got style, she's got grace, She's a winner.
She's a Lady. Whoa whoa whoa, She's a Lady.
Talkin' about that little lady, and the lady is mine.
Well she's never in the way
Something always nice to say, Oh what a blessing.
I can leave her on her own
Knowing she's okay alone, and there's no messing.
She's a lady. Whoa, whoa, whoa. She's a lady.
Talkin' about that little lady, and the lady is mine.
Well she never asks for very much and I don't refuse her.
Always treat her with respect, I never would abuse her.
What she's got is hard to find, and I don't want to lose her
Help me build a mansion from my little pile of clay. Hey, hey, hey.
Well she knows what I'm about,
She can take what I dish out, and that's not easy,
Well she knows me through and through,
She knows just what to do, and how to please me.
She's a lady. Whoa, whoa, whoa. She's a lady.
Talkin' about that little lady and the lady is mine.
Yeah yeah yeah She's a Lady
Listen to me baby, She's a Lady
Whoa whoa whoa, She's a Lady
And the Lady is mine
Yeah yeah yeah She's a Lady
Talkin about this little lady
Whoa whoa whoa whoa
Whoa and the lady is mine
Yeah yeah She's a Lady
And the Lady is mine.

The Death Of Adonis
Fragments 108, 110, 115, 117, 116, 111, 114, and 113 combined.
This is the lamentation-song
For Adonis — woe for Adonis, woe!
Thus wailed Aphrodite in anguish-throe,
As she strove to hold him back from death:
'Let thine heart not faint, O love! Be strong!
O me, it burns me, thy failing breath!
It kindles through all my being a fire!
My heart is aflame with despairing desire!'
She calls to her Eros of golden wing,
She bids him steep in the ice-cold spring
Fine linen, and lay on Adonis' brow: —
'O love, let its coolness revive thee now! . . .
Vain, vain! — his eyes see me no more;
They are fixed in a gaze upon Hades' door!
They close — he sleeps — not the sleep of the dead!
Hush, stir not a pebble with heedless tread!
No, no! this is death! Now remaineth to me
No sweetness on earth — nor honey nor bee!'
Friend Of Mine
Are you feelin that your on the brink
Of spilling some red in the sink
It wasn't the easiest year
No I don't want you to go
Are the memories too hard to take
Rape is a word with a face
No I don't want you to go
You know I don't want you to go
Friend of mine stay alive
Don't you leave me here
All alone in a world with a chronic tear
I will always be here, I will always be here
I will always be here for you
We walked the promenade in the rain
With velcrow shoes and an ice cream stain
You've the only one who understands
Remember the place that direction you wake
And help save your generation
No I don't want you to go
You know we don't want you to go
Friend of mine stay alive
Don't you leave me here
All alone in a world with a chronic tear
I will always be here, I will always be here
I will always be here for you
Don't look back
The past is just that
We are We are We are We are
Awake
Friend of mine stay alive
Don't you leave me
Friend of mine stay alive
Don't you leave me
I will always be here
I will always be here
Friend of mine stay alive
Don't you leave me here
All alone in a world with a chronic tear
I will always be here, I will always be here
I will always be here for you

Mine All Mine
Forgive me father
For I have sinned
Ive been through hell and back again
Shook hands with the devil
Looked him in the eye
Looked like a long lost friend
Anything you want
Any dirty deeds
Hes got everything
Except what I really need
Keepin me temporarily satisfied
But not one thing I tried
Filled me up inside
Or felt like mine
Mine, all mine
Yeah, the search goes on
The more I look
My world keeps getting smaller
Staring at the sun
Searchin for the light
Almost ended up blinded
Some only see
What they want to see
Claiming victory
Oh, but thats not me
Give me truth
Give me something real
I just want to feel
Like its
Mine, all mine
Oh really mine, all mine
Come on give me something
Something thats mine, all mine, all mine
Mine, all mine
All the words on the wall
Look the same in the mirror
Every riddle
Every clue
You got allah in the east
You got jesus in the west
Christ, whats a man to do?
Theyll find a cure for anything
Just kill the pain
Numb my brain
We see a man
Speaking the word of god
Provin to be a fraud
His own church applauds
Stop lookin out
Start lookin in
Be your own best friend
Stand up and say
Hey! this is mine
All mine, all mine, all mine
Baby, you got something
And I got something
And its mine, all mine, all mine
Mine, all mine
Mine, all mine
Yes, Im searching
Mine, all mine
Got to have it
Mine, all mine
Mine, all mine

Mine to the core of the heart, my beauty!
Mine, all mine, and for love, not duty:
Love given willingly, full and free,
Love for love's sake, - as mine to thee.
Duty's a slave that keeps the keys,
But Love, the master, goes in and out
Of his goodly chambers with song and shout,
Just as he please, - just as he please.
Mine, from the dear head's crown, brown-golden,
To the silken foot that's scarce beholden;
Give to a few friends hand or smile,
Like a generous lady, now and awhile,
But the sanctuary heart, that none dare win,
Keep holiest of holiest evermore;
The crowd in the aisles may watch the door,
The high-priest only enters in.
Mine, my own, without doubts or terrors,
With all thy goodnesses, all thy errors,
Unto me and to me alone revealed,
'A spring shut up, a fountain sealed.'
Many may praise thee, - praise mine as thine,
Many may love thee, - I'll love them too;
But thy heart of hearts, pure, faithful, and true,
Must be mine, mine wholly, and only mine.
Mine! - God, I thank Thee that Thou hast given
Something all mine on this side heaven:
Something as much myself to be
As this my soul which I lift to Thee:
Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone,
Life of my life, whom Thou dost make
Two to the world for the world's work's sake, -
But each unto each, as in Thy sight, one.

The Psalm Of Adonis - from Fifteenth Idyll
O Queen that loves Golgi, and Idalium,
And the steep of Eryx,
O Aphrodite, that playes with gold,
Lo, from the stream eternal of Acheron
They have brought back to you Adonis---
Even in the twelfth month they have brought him,
The dainty-footed Hours.
Tardiest of the Immortals are the beloved Hours,
But dear and desired they come,
For always, to all mortals,
They bring some gift with them.
O Cypris, daughter of Dione,
From mortal to immortal, so men tell,
You have changed Berenice, dropping softly in
The woman's breast the stuff of immortality.
Therefore, for your delight,
O you of many names and many temples,
Does the daughter of Berenice, even Arsinoë,
Lovely as Helen, cherish Adonis with all things beautiful.
Before him lie all ripe fruits that the tall trees' branches bear,
And the delicate gardens, arrayed in baskets of silver,
And the golden vessels are full of incense of Syria.
And all the dainty cakes that women fashion in the kneading tray,
Mingling blossoms manifold with the white wheaten flour,
All that is wrought of honey sweet, and in soft olive oil,
All cakes fashioned in the semblance of things that fly,
And of things that creep, lo, here they are set before him.
Here are built for him shadowy bowers of green,
All laden with tender anise, and children flit overhead---
The little loves---
As the young nightingales perched upon
The trees fly forth and try their wings
From bough to bough.
O! the ebony, O! the gold, O! the twin eagles of white
Ivory that carry to Zeus, the son of Cronos,
His darling, his cupbearer!
O! the purple coverlet strewn above,
More soft than sleep!
So Miletus will say,
And whoso feeds sheep in Samos.
Another bed is strewn for beautiful Adonis,
One bed Cypris keeps, and one the rosy-armed Adonis.
A bride-groom of eighteen or nineteen years is he,
His kisses are not rough, the golden down being yet upon his lips!
And now, good-night to Cypris, in the arms of her lover!
But lo, in the morning we will all of us gather with the dew,
And carry him forth among the waves that break upon the beach,
And with locks unloosed, and ungirt raiment falling to the ankles,
And bosom bare, will we begin our shrill, sweet song.
You only, dear Adonis, so men tell,
You only of the demi-gods,
Do visit both this world and the stream of Acheron.
For Agamemnon had no such lot, nor Aias,
That mighty lord of the terrible anger, nor Hector,
The eldest born of the twenty sons of Hecuba, nor Patroclus,
Nor Pyrrhus, that returned out of Troy land,
Nor the heroes of yet more ancient days,
The Lapithai and Deucalion's sons,
Nor the sons of Pelops, and the chiefs of Pelasgian Argos.
Be gracious now, dear Adonis, and propitious
Even in the coming year.
Dear to us has your advent been, Adonis,
And dear shall it be when you come again.

He Was A Friend Of Mine
He was a friend of mine
He was a friend of mine
Every time I think about him now
Lord I just cant keep from cryin
cause he was a friend of mine
He died on the road
He died on the road
He never had enough money
To pay his room or board
And he was a friend of mine
I stole away and cried
I stole away and cried
cause I never had too much money
And I never been quite satisfied
And he was a friend of mine
He never done no wrong
He never done no wrong
A thousand miles from home
And he never harmed no one
And he was a friend of mine
He was a friend of mine
He was a friend of mine
Every time I hear his name
Lord I just cant keep from cryin
cause he was a friend of mine.

Let My Tears Dried Up In Your Cheek
let my heart empowered your dream
and be my Aladin
let my soul will take you fly to the place
where only our love bloom
let my brightness illuminate your
path in your journey to reach
your wishing star
let our hearts taste the spring of
water lilies that floats in the
hyacinth of love
let me touch and guide you in the
wilderness of ecstasy, where i'll
set you free.
let my strength be the passion of
Adonis in your beauty, for where
i may be you'll be mine forever
let me put you in my arm that you'll
have power to face all adversity,
for my might be your shield, for iam
yours tell the end of time
let my tears dried up in your cheek
for it is the answer to my love, a love
that leads you to eternity

The Package
Clever got me this far
Then tricky got me in
Eye on what I'm after
I don't need another friend
Smile and drop the cliche
'Till you think I'm listening
I take just what I came for
Then I'm out the door again
Peripheral on the package
Don't care to settle in
Time to feed the monster
I don't need another friend
Comfort is a mystery
Crawling out of my own skin
Just give me what I came for, then I'm out the door again
Lie to get what I came for
Lie to get just what I need
Lie to get what I crave
Lie and smile to get what's mine
Eye on what I'm after
I don't need another friend
Nod and watch your lips move
If you need me to pretend
Because clever got me this far
Then tricky got me in
I'll take just what I came for
Then I'm out the door again
Lie to get what I came for
Lie to get what I need now
Lie to get what I'm craving
Lie and smile to get what's mine
Give this to me
Mine, mine, mine
Take what's mine
Mine, mine, mine
Take what's mine
Mine, mine, mine
Lie to get what I came for
Lie to get what I need now
Lie to get what I crave
Lie to smile and get what's mine
Give this to me
Take what's mine
Mine, mine, mine
Take what's mine
Give this to me
Take what's mine, take what's mine, mine...
Take what's mine, take what's mine, take what's mine,
This is mine, mine, mine, not mine

Gonna Make You Love Me
Riot on the streets, the touch beneath the sheets
Its only gonna make me love you more
The cops they got the guns, the night destroys the sun
Its only gonna make me love you more
This old world, well, it was mine to take
Faith can keep you warm, but Ill teach you how to shake
And Ill come to you like a little girl
Its only gonna make me love you more
Moonlight on the beach, sweet amphetamines
Its only gonna make you love me more
Bottles and the cans, the idiots go dance
Its only gonna make me love you more
This old world, well, it was mine to take
Faith can keep you warm, but Ill teach you how to shake
And Ill come to you like a little girl
Its only gonna make me love you more
They say love is hell,
But Ive only been laughin ever since I fell
Its only gonna make me love you more
The lord will have his way but Im just a call away
Its only gonna make you love me more
This old world, well, it was mine to take
Faith can keep you warm, but Ill teach you how to shake
And Ill come to you like a little girl
Its only gonna make me love you more

Rest in peace
Every time I want to end it all I hesitate then stop
I have tried a knife a gun but from my hand they all drop
Is it fear of death or love of life that ironically prevents me?
Is it the lack of strength or is it the bitterness of my enemy
The darkness of my shadow is a reflection of within
forgetting is my greatest gift while regretting is my sin
I love a few people and I am faithful to death
but I also hate many and I would take their last breath
don't come near me don't touch me don't even wipe my venom tears
do not ask and I will not answer nowadays even walls have ears
I will live and i will lend you time, you will suffer from my generosity
we each have something special to brag about mine is animosity
I shall wait for my life reaper for it shall not harm my ease
I shall count the stars i dreamt of reaching as i rest in peace
