Reflects The Soul

Your eyes are like a mirror
that reflects your soul.
Some eyes are dark as cobalt
and reflect the deed they do.
Others are a shade of gold
reflect a heart that cares.
While others reflect great sadness
from ill treatment somewhere.
Whatever colour are your eyes
it is not the colour of your soul.
Some people with dark eyes
as jet black as the night.
Hold the gentlest touch
when it comes to others of mankind.
The colour of your eyes
is never an indication to your soul.
It is only passed the colour
does that reflect the soul.

Let's Talk About Love!

Let's talk about love! Let's give hate the shove!
Let's celebrate all that love is!
Reflect on the joy for each girl and boy
Enmeshed in the thrill of a kiss!

Love glides round in style! Love guides with a smile!
Love looks up with hope in its eyes!
Reflect on the prayers of sweethearts in pairs
And listen to all of their sighs!

Let's talk about love! Let's think of the dove!
Let's cherish the heart's great reward!
Reflect on the peace that starts to increase
Whenever true love is outpoured!

Let's learn a love song! Let's sing it out strong!
Let's pass on Good News every day!
Reflect on God's grace! God's kindness embrace!
Determined to share love some way!

Let's visit Loveland! Let's walk hand-in-hand!
Let's honour the blessings we've known!
Reflect on this truth: Love's never aloof!
For true love cannot walk alone...

On this day, Christians reflect on their faith and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This occasion inspires families and communities to come together, share what they have, and give back to those less fortunate. May we take this time to reflect on our many blessings, and remind our loved ones how much they mean to us.

I Tap The Universe

I tap the Universe,
Which keeps me fed...
In a reciprocating relationship.

I reflect what I am given.
And my needs are fulfilled.
Much happiness I get.

There is an understanding,
I once had forgotten.
But now I know,
What has kept me blessed.

I tap the Universe,
Which keeps me fed.
I reflect what I am given.
And my needs are fulfilled.

And no stranger am I,
To this exchange.
Or my obligation to this arrangement.

This is the beauty of the Qur'an: it asks you to reflect and reason, and not to worship the sun or moon but the One who has created everything. The Qur'an asks man to reflect upon the sun and moon and God's creation in general.

When a man sees something desirable, he must reflect on the fact that with time it could come to involve what is detestable. When he sees something that is beneficial, he should reflect that sooner or later it, too, could come to involve harm.

Departing In A Well Of Tears

tears do not reflect the years
a great love broken by death
is a flood that tears landscape
inflicting mortal wounds years
cannot erase to restore lost love

tears do not reflect the years
an abusive love is better lost
heart chokes on dessert dust
soul can not swallow coarse
sand grating on afflicted soul

tears do not reflect the years
yet a well of tears shed rapid
leaves body dehydrated husk
lifeless an empty broken well
yet well of tears drowns lives

Day By Day

Day by day I wake up for you I do
And I rise to who knows who
Well if I can say...some other day
Day by day I reach out to you I do
And I pretend theres something to it
And if I can say...Ive had better days
Day by day I resort to you I do
And I wash up after youre through
If I can say...thats o.k.
Youre in my head again
Youre in my bed again
Youre in my mirror again
And if you dont mind me...i dont mind you
Day by day I reflect on you I do
I reflect on you I do

Making A Candle

i pick up the pieces
of melted candle

these are the wastes
left-overs of those already used

burned, i cut them with a sharp knife
like bread crumbs and

put them all in a small kettle
a little fire melts all of them

i got a thread a slice of tin
as weight inside a mold

i pour the melted candle there
and set the newly formed one aside

i reflect upon life
i reflect upon the people with wasted lives

vis-a-vis
the new candle that i made.

I Against I

I-ya,
I against I,
Flesh of my flesh,
And mind of my mind,
Two of a kind but one won't survive,
My images reflect in the enemies eye,
And his images reflect in mine the same time,
I-ya, I-ya,
I against I,
Flesh of my flesh,
And mind of my mind,
Two of a kind but one won't survive,
Right here is where the end gon' start at,
Conflict, contact 'n' combat,
Fighters stand where the land is marked at,
Settle the dispute about who the livest,
3 word answer,
Whoever survive this,
Only one of us can ride forever,
So you and I cant ride together,
Can't live or cant die together,
All we can do is collide together,
So I skillfully apply the pressure,
Won't stop until I'm forever... One!
A door step where death never come,
Spread across time til my time never done,
And I'm never done,
Walk tall, why ever run?
When they move if I ever come?
Bad man never fret the war, tell'em come
General we have the stock, the mad fire burn
I-ya,
I against I,
Flesh of my flesh,
And mind of my mind,
Two of a kind but one won't survive,
My images reflect in the enemies eye,
And his images reflect in mine the same time,
I-ya, I-ya,
I against I,
Flesh of my flesh,
And mind of my mind,
Two of a kind but one won't survive,
Survive (x16)
Reign supreme in your U-N-I,
V-E-R-S-E with the sharpness,
Narrow row building no space for partners,
No space for drivers, no space for walkers,
No space regardless,
Your on my path then get off it,
Hardheaded and unresponsive,
Get they lives put on target with harshness,
Come wit

Reflections

As each year begins to close,
we reflect over the passing one
remembering the highlights
along with the year’s woes.
How things made us laugh
and the others that made us cry
the whole mixed bag
that we call a year gone by.
We look forward to the next
with eager expectations
reflecting on how we can
make more dreams come true
and all the time hoping that sadness
will miss our door.
Of making new friends to fill the gaps
where old ones have faded away.
All this we do as we reflect
on the passing of another year.

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Mirror mirror on the wall
You reflect the image of how far we fall
from grace as we consider the face
we believe ourselves to be.
Is that all that most of us see?

We are fooled by that looking glass.
And yet we glimpse at it as we pass
all of our imperfections we carry around.
But inside our eyes what is found
is the soul that accepts all of our flaws.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
I must always try to recall
who I am and always shall be.
It's certainly not just what I see.
For I am more than my image shows,
more than my figure, my height, my pose.

I am who I've always been,
not this body that I find I'm in.
I am the earth, the sun, the moon.
I am the morn, the night, the noon.
And so I say to my mirrored wall.
'You can't ever reflect me.
For you don't know me at all.'

The Question Remains Unanswered

Strange things happen in our lives
through each passing year.
As we get older, we reflect
on the reasons why they came.

She came into my life
first in my childhood,
but for some reason
no friendship flared.

The years then rolled on
to forty and more
and into my life,
she once again appeared.

It is hard to define
what we were both
looking for
on the second time around.

However, what we found
was a deep, caring friendship
that reached higher than
any parameters we could have set.

We knew one day further on
we would have to part again
when heaven called
for one of us to go.

I reflect now for a reason
why destiny brought us together
not once but twice.
However, the question remains unanswered.

Tis the Season For Reflection

'Tis the season for reflection.
Let's reflect upon this year.
Was it one that you'll remember
all the good that did appear?

Or will the good be overshadowed
by the painful times that came?
Your attitude towards those around you,
was it different or the same?

We cannot change the sins of others
but we can if they're our own.
The year has come and gone so quickly.
Was it one in which you've grown?

Grown in spirit towards each other,
grown in tolerance for all men,
grown in peaceful ways of thinking,
grown in every way you can?

'Tis the season for the carolds
calling for good will towards men.
Let's be thankful for the singing
and reflect on this year again.

Confused

'Mrs. Poppington...
If they are derelict in performing their duties
As elected officials
And they represent their contituents,
Who placed them in office
To conduct the protection
And goodwill of the people...
Why are nearly most of them incompetent?
And all of them lawbreakers? '

They are 'not' incompetent, Jimmie!
As you stated...
They represent their contituency!
They reflect those who put them in those positions!
And...
Let me make this clear.
You can not 'break' something you make.
It is 'recreated' to reflect change!
That's called 'addendum'.

'OH!
So...
Does that mean when you tell us not to cheat
On tests,
You really mean the opposite?
You want us to find a more creative way to do it?
And it's okay when Billy 'addendumizes' my work,
When you leave the classroom?
I'm confused! '

Bring Me Flowers

Bring me flowers when I am living
Don't bring me them when I am dead
Let me enjoy them in the giving
My mother always had said.
Let me hold them in my hands
and smell there fragrant scent
Then I will reminisce of different lands
Before; I am heaven sent.
I will reflect back when I was young
Or I might think back not long ago
When I walked underneath the sun
Or when I felt the wind as it blowed.

Bring me flowers when I am here
Please don't wait until I am gone
So I might reflect to a different year
And my memories will last on.
I might reflect to a different time
With every breadth and scent I breath
And knowing the flowers are mine
Shows how much that you love me.
Let me enjoy the flowers again
Let me feel them on my fingers
Because I just don't know when,
And how long my memory will linger.

Bring me flowers with a smile
Please don't bring them with any sorrow
And I will hold them just like a child
As I held you, and held on till tomorrow.
I want to see them once again
As I place them on my table
And then they will be my friend
And I will greet them when I am able.
They will be a part of me
My mothers always had said
So bring them now to me please
And don't wait until I am dead.

MONEY DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE...by talile ali

MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS BUT
MONEY DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE
WHEN ADDING UP THE DOLLARS AND CENTS
IT TAKES CARE OF A LOT OF LIFE'S EXPENSE

YOU DIDN'T COME INTO THE WORLD WITH INSIGHT
INTO SOMEONES MASTER PLAN
TO ENSLAVE EVERY LIVING HUMAN
TO A SINGLE THING THAT WAS AN EXPENSE

CREDIT AND DEBT ARE THE FANGS
OF THIS VAMPIRE WHO MOLEST
YOUR LAST STRANDS OF HUMANNESS
TYING UP ALL OF YOUR MENTAL HANDS

ITS ALL BEEN DONE WITH MIRRORS
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS USE YOUR OWN
TO REFLECT BACK ALL THAT YOU HAVEN'T THROWN
AWAY

SO IN ORDER TO HAVE THE CASH
YOU HAVE TO REFLECT BACK ALL THE CRASS
AND LIFT YOUR MIND OUT OF YOUR ASS
TODAY

Mirror

Oh! Mirror the most loveable, cunning queen
You reflect in mostly whatever you have seen.
Face is the mirror of the soul
Literature is the face of the society as a whole
Oh! Mirror, you have to reflect me as it is your goal.
But why do you really fail to show my soul?

Whatever I do
In front of you
You do that ditto
If I lit a cigar, you lit too without nitto.
Even you can reflect the fire
Even you can make caricature
Out of me without any failure
But why do you really fail to show the fire
The burning sensation of my mind
And the sound of anguish which is in the wind?

Oh! Mirror, you are such a beauty! !
You have so much unparalleled quality! !
You make the distant nearer
And the nearer distant
You make the big small
And the small big.
But why do you always belittle me
When I am away from you?

We are a quirky pair
As long as we are near so long as we are dear
But when we are apart
You are so cruel; I am not in your heart.
But I can not forget you
Being tired and devastated in distress
I rush to you to show my face.
You are such a pretending ass
It seems that nothing happens between us.
You do as I do
You can not conceal my ugly face
The anxiety, the tiredness and the distress.
In such condition can our love continue
Have you any thing alternative left to me other than to hate you?

Breath The Sky

Truth is evident smashing falsehood
Like light to darkness it fades fast
Take part in the diminishing good
Reflect and see the lessons of the past
The journey begins with random curiosity
Innocence lost by influences outside oneself
Take back your innocence with generosity
Forbid and stop the atrocities yourself
Don't leave it be it holds us back
Too much hate, it can't be our fate
This moral decay we must attack
Set things straight, no time to wait
Reach into the dark and retrieve the light
Stifle the words of the misanthrope
Join in this is the human's fight
Reflect and change your scope

A Value Attached to Match a Compensation

My total being is within.
Not without as you may suspect.
You may believe I should reflect worth.
With a value attached to match a compensation.

My total being is within.
Not without as you may suspect.
You may believe I should reflect worth.
With a value attached to match a compensation.

I am compensated.
But beyond a value you would never be able to designate.
My total being is within not without as you may suspect.
With a value attached to match a compensation.

Even I am unaware of the depth of my treasures.
As long as I know they are there...
My concerns I keep at a minimum.
