Hey

Hey
Been trying to meet you
Hey
Must be a devil between us
Or whores in my head
Whores at my door
Whores in my bed
But hey
Where
Have you
Been if you go I will surely die
Were chained
Uh said the man to the lady
Uh said the lady to the man she adored
And the whores like a choir
Go uh all night
And mary aint you tired of this
Uh
Is
The
Sound
That the mother makes when the baby breaks
Were chained

Cruel Summer

Dans la chaleur de la nuit qui s'enroule tout autour de moi
Je marche seule sans savoir pourquoi tu n'es plus l
Ca tourne dans ma tte
Et tout s'arrte
Ta voix me parle tout bas
Je ne sais plus o j'en suis, je ne vois plus que toi
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
The city is crowed
My friends are away
And I'm on my own
It's too handle
So I've got to get up and go
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
It's a crue , cruel summer, c'est fini

Guernica

Watch me at war really up
You wanna hurt me stop the row
We both are stitched up now
We're hard with fear hard speak up
You wanna hurt me stop the row
We both are stitched up now
We're whores sit down
We're whores that's us

He wanted us he swore and all we've got
You wanna hurt me stop the row
We both are stitched up now
We're hard with fear hard speak up
You wanna hurt me stop the row
We both are stitched up now
We're whores sit down
We're whores that's us

Simple lives yeah we don't have
We pack up in truth it seems this
Peacemakers has arms that hold fear
See gargoyles can you see the wonder?
Yes I fear the carbine
What does never wrong mean?
That's right

Every one of us he swore so hurry up
You wanna hurt me stop the row
We both are stitched up now
We're hard with fear hard speak up
You wanna hurt me stop the row
Both of us are stitched up now
We're whores sit down
We're Whores

That must mean sinful eyes that maim of fear
It's the look that stings I fear boy
Being distrusting I trust no one

They've been back down for nothing
It was never shared it's ours
We will know those names who follow

Shovels, And Whores!

shovels and whores!
cant get nothing done,
for digging people out

in way too deep,
and loaning money to whores
for their crack rock pillows,

their babies crying
with hunger cursed lips.
addicts and losers,

prisoners put out,
to work the streets, or die.
and the unemployed breed

with despair driven need,
old people eating dogfood
with plastic spoons....

fight and give, eyes in the back
of your head, back to the wall...
shovels and whores,

all God's children gotta live!

The' Magicians' Of Our Times

We live in a world of magicians
All around us.
They are the magicians of the kind
Who don`t make a living but mar many a life.

A magician is seen among our 'dear' friends,
Yet one more among our 'close' relatives,
Then is seen another among our rulers
The last one emerges from our well wishers and colleagues.

Every magician wears a cap with no feathers thereon
And he barks at us like a dog often.
We remain calm and quiet with reason dead
And our fall begins to depths infinite.

The magicians hold a wand with a curve at the end
And our heads are held within and soon pulled close to them.
The magicians ask us to spare our valuables for every show
And they pound them to powder many times.

Every magician cuts a woman into two
Later she is brought back alive.
Behind the curtains two women shed tears
For there is another magic played in their lives by him.

Each magic lasts for a phase of time
But we often refuse to leave the dark hall.
Each magic leaves us bloodless
And our minds turn pale for a longer phase.

Each magic mesmerises us and we go for the next show as well.
When their coffers fill to the brim
Every magician leaves and his apprentice enters
The show re begins and by then we fall dead!

Neequaye

Of the sorcerers and the magicians of Egypt,
Of the sorcerers and the magicians of the world;
Neequaye, it will be according to your words and works.
You must not show partiality in judgement and,
Turn to Yahweh for wisdom at all times to move on;
For there is no where else to run to.
Neequaye, i am delivered by Yahweh from all harm;
And, you have to learn from His laws too.
Like life in the Arabah and what we see around us,
Like the guidiance of peace and love,
Like the ways of man's adventures to gain all things,
For i am here to guide you on;
Because, blood defiles you and the land on which you live.

Senselessly Cruel

When I was a poor young boy at school
Girls like you always played me for a fool
But now, a time has come to lay to waste
The theory people have of getting an acquired taste
You treated me -
Oh, so, so senselessly cruel
Oh baby, you were so senselessly cruel
From the beginnings I suspected the worst
And you didnt disappoint me
It was just that you were the first
But now, I wouldnt let you touch me
If you were within a foot
And girl, Im never ever gonna get hurt
cause you treated me -
Oh, so senselessly cruel
Oh now, so senselessly cruel
(oh, so senselessly cruel)
(oh, so senselessly cruel)

Secretly Cruel

I saw my pictures hangin on her wall
She cut it out of that magazine
It was a hot day, she wore lingerie
And nothin else in between, ooh
She had long hair and thigh high snake skin boots
And she was all over me like a cheap suit
Then she bared herself, aha
And stripped my soul
Began to shake, rattle, and roll
Then I took control, yeah
But I know shes secretly cruel
I aint nobodys fool
Yeah, I know shes secretly cruel
Just when I though it was safe
She puts her lips to my face
Shes secretly, secretly cruel
Well she grabbed my hair
And I began to rise
I could tell what she wanted
By that look in her eyes, oh, ow
By that look in her eyes, yeah
I said come here babe and make it quick
She said not so fast
And had a drink
Well it aint just luck
But I better knock on wood
Shes gonna give me everything
Somehow I knew she would
Oh, but I know shes secretly cruel
I aint nobodys fool
Well, I know shes secretly cruel
I said baby youre the fire, but I am the fuel
Shes secretly, secretly cruel
Yeah, so cruel
Well it aint just luck (aint just luck)
But I better knock on wood, yeah
Shes gonna give me everything
Somehow I knew she would
Oh, but I know shes secretly cruel
I aint nobodys fool, nobodys fool
Secretly, shes so cruel (cruel)
Im in love, but I dont play the fool
Secretly, shes so cruel, secretly, so cruel
Cruel, yeah, cruel, yeah, cruel, yeah
I know shes secretly, shes so cruel, secretly, so cruel
Cruel, yeah, cruel, yeah, cruel, yeah
I know shes secretly, shes so cruel, secretly, shes so cruel
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, secretly, secretly cruel, cruel

Following the Recipe of Ancient Syrio-Greek Magicians

Said an aesthete: "What distillation from magic herbs
can I find—what distillation, following the recipe
of ancient Greco-Syrian magicians—
that will bring back to me for one day (if its power
doesn't last longer) or even for a few hours,
my twenty-third year,
bring back to me my friend of twenty-two,
his beauty, his love.

What distillation, following the recipe
of ancient Greco-Syrian magicians, can be found
to bring back also—as part of this return of things past—
even the little room we shared."

Numbers..

Numbers are cruel,
When the heart beats ninety per minute,
when pressure is, down very down,
High very high, fluctuating.

Numbers are cruel,
when wearing spectacles,
power can not be adjusted,
must buy a new pair.

Numbers are cruel,
when using Glucometer,
higher the reading,
must control the eating.

Numbers are cruel,
when one has thousand,
sometimes in negatives and
the other has millions.

Numbers are cruel,
when one is young and fresh,
and the other is old and in mess,
bigger the number, wiser.

Namaste

Back and forth
back and forth
culture whores
were removing the skin tags
from armpits.
The private plateaus spurting
lemon grass juice.

Between kind questions
and cruel answers
I watch the heat rlsing.

Scanning the leukemic beach
the sex drenched hour
squirms with pubic pain.

Two round hills -
firm breasts tucked under white clouds
were weary of lip slaves.

Namaste sunset
I was waiting for you.

How Cruel the World Can Be

How cruel the world can be at times,
too cruel to think upon.
For the pain and suffering that visits us
is a lingering marathon.

We pray that when it is our time
to welcome something new
that the parting from the life we know
will be a quick adieu.

Somehow we gather strength to face
what comes to us tomorrow.
And on the day before that
we must not dwell on sorrow.

For surely all the pain we've known
will be left to this cruel world.
And the quiet peaceful sleep we need
will finally be unfurled.

How cruel the world can be at times,
too cruel to think upon.

Problems May Surprise

Problems may surprise
If not curbed when they arise
They will assume big dimension
When find repeated mention

Life is full of problems
It may remain forever and we have to settle them
Robbers, looters and politicians
May enjoy along with magicians

You may ask why magicians?
Yes they are skilled artisans
As politician promise Singapore in India
Cheaters promise to double the money with plea

No problem no life
Home no heaven if no trouble with wife
So problem everywhere and omni present
Why then poets then lag behind and remain absent

Let problem arise but do not allow it to pose
Grave situation so goes out of hand to dispose
If we scare and think constantly about their origin
There will be so much worry and tension in whole scene

A Reflection For This Morning

when it is not done
you feel cruel,
you'd like to go away
but you imagine a
lonely funeral

you stay and you become
more cruel than you
think

but it is a must
a dictate of what is the law of this land
you stay
and they are too cruel to make you stay
you don't like the way things
are happening
the way the words are left unsaid
because they can be
more cruel when
said,

you are at a loss
but you have decided not to mind it anymore
you invoke
fate,

there is this destiny that takes charge
make the most of what is here

and that will be fair enough
