In a way, we are magicians. We are alchemists, sorcerers and wizards. We are a very strange bunch. But there is great fun in being a wizard.

Neequaye
Of the sorcerers and the magicians of Egypt,
Of the sorcerers and the magicians of the world;
Neequaye, it will be according to your words and works.
You must not show partiality in judgement and,
Turn to Yahweh for wisdom at all times to move on;
For there is no where else to run to.
Neequaye, i am delivered by Yahweh from all harm;
And, you have to learn from His laws too.
Like life in the Arabah and what we see around us,
Like the guidiance of peace and love,
Like the ways of man's adventures to gain all things,
For i am here to guide you on;
Because, blood defiles you and the land on which you live.

Were Off To See The Wizard
(from the soundtrack album the wizard of oz in concert: dreams do come true; performed by jackson browne & jewel)
Were off to see the wizard,
The wonderful wizard of oz.
We hear he is a wiz of a wiz
If ever a wiz there was.
If ever, oh ever, a wiz there was,
The wizard of oz is one because,
Because, because, because, because, because--
Because of the wonderful things he does.
Were off to see the wizard,
The wonderful wizard of oz.

Hexperience
The wizard was quite new to it,
He tried to pick his words,
For magic didn't care one bit
If wizards thought like nerds...
If wizards conjured up a spell
And language wasn't learned,
Then they could simply go to Hell
If wisdom wasn't earned...
A wonky wand was no excuse,
The girls were not impressed,
It wasn't something folks would choose
If folks would do their best...
And floppy hats get equal stick,
For leaning left or right,
Or front or back, well take your pick,
Each looks a sad old sight...
And as for brooms, what can we say?
Loose bristles falling out
And pretty soon they roll away,
Here, there and all about...
Watch out for splinters, if you're wise,
As they'll sneak up on you
And quickly bring tears to your eyes
When you don't want them to!
The wizard phoned his friend at work!
'What does HIMTARKO mean? '
The friend told him he was a berk,
'Look down, your legs are green! '
Ten wizards tried to cheer him up...
There, as sick as a dog...
'Come on, now, drink! Yes, drain the cup! '
He turned into a frog!
He croaked complaints as they checked books!
They cast spells day and night!
He gave them all such dirty looks,
For none could solve his plight!
Their magic wasn't worth a dime!
Now magic's not his scene...
Frog potions wear off after time,
Alas, his legs stayed green...

Hes The Wizard
Written & composed: charlie smalls
Sweet thing, let me tell you bout
The world and the way things are;
Youve come from a different place
And I know youre traveled far.
Now that you told me what it is,
Id better point you towards the wiz
Chorus :
Hes the wiz...
Hes the man, hes the only one
Who can give your wish right to ya.
Hes the wizard...
Hell send you back through time
By runnin magic through ya.
All of the super powers his.
Listen and Ill tell you where he is.
Hes the wiz and he lives in oz
Hes the wizard,
Theres the way to the emerald city,
Now thats not too far, is it?
Hes the wizard,
Just take you dilemma child,
And lay it on the wizard.
Hell fix you a drink thatss
Bubble and foam-
And in a flash you will be home
Hes the wiz,
Hes the wizard of oz,
Hes got magic up his sleeve;
Hes the wizard,
And you know without his help
twould be impossible to leave.
Fantastic powers at his command,
And Im sure that he will understand
Hes the wiz,
And he lives in oz;
Hes the wizard! hes the wizard!
Hes the wizard!!!

The Wizard
I can read what's going through your mind,
I can see what you hide in your eyes,
yeas, I'm gonna put a spell on you,
Just to see exactly what you'll do
I'm a wizard
and there's magic in the air
I'm a sinner
and my friend you'd best beware
there's magic everywhere
can you see the formal in the sky?
time like water flows by till we die
every moment wasted leaves its mark
the setting sun leaves us standing in the dark
I'm a wizard
and there's magic in the air
I'm a sinner
and my friend you'd best beware
I'm a wizard
and there's magic in the air
I'm a sinner
and my friend you'd best beware
there's magic everywhere
One must forgive them noisy rushing fools
Who have no time for natures natural schools
They cannot see the life that's in their hands
Like ghosts they disappear across the land
I'm a wizard
And there's magic in the air
I'm a sinner
And my friend you'd best beware
I'm a wizard
And there's magic in the air
I'm a capturer
And my friend you'd best beware
There's magic everywhere
I'm a wah wah wah wah w-w-w-w-wizard
I'm a s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-sinner
I'm a wah wah wah wah w-w-w-w-wizard
I'm a s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-sinner
I'm a wah wah wah wah w-w-w-w-wizard
I'm a s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-sinner
I'm a wah wah wah wah w-w-w-w-wizard
I'm a s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-sinner
I'm a wizard

The Elf Singing
An Elf sat on a twig,
He was not very big,
He sang a little song,
He did not think it wrong;
But he was on a Wizard's ground,
Who hated all sweet sound.
Elf, Elf,
Take care of yourself.
He's coming behind you,
To seize you and bind you
And stifle you song.
The Wizard! The Wizard!
He changes his shape
In crawling along--
An ugly old ape,
A poisonous lizard,
A spotted spider,
A wormy glider
The Wizard! The Wizard!
He's up on the bough
He'll bite through your gizzard,
He's close to you now!
The Elf went on with his song,
It grew more clear and strong;
It lifted him into air,
He floated singing away,
With rainbows in his hair;
While the Wizard-Worm from his creep
Mad a sudden leap,
Fell down into a hole,
And, are his magic word he could say,
Was eaten up by a Mole.

0192 Always there is wisdom
Always there are wizards.
They don’t hide themselves.
That would be wrong for them.
They don’t advertise themselves.
That would be wrong for them.
They wait.
That could be boring. Or painful, even.
But that’s their job.
There may be one in the next street.
You need to look.
Then they meet you halfway.
They may look like anybody. Or nobody. Or everybody.
When you go to them, they may dress up in cloak and pointed hat.
That’s just symbolic.
Just at the point of the hat, there’s space.
That’s what they’ll tell you about.
That space is full.
Like your heart.
No one cares much about wizards.
Except those who seek them.
Wizards are wise.
But only if you ask them questions.
Then the answer comes out of space.
And lives in your heart.
Of course.

The Brady Bunch
You can watch mr. rogers
You can watch threes company
And you can turn on fame or the nelywed game
Or the addams family
I say, you can watch barney miller
And you can watch your mtv
And you can watch till your eyes fall out of your head
Thatll be ok with me
And you can watch (tv)
You can watch johnny carson
You can watch phil donahue
And you can use tv guide to help you decide
With capsulized review
Say, you can watch 60 minutes
Even captain kangaroo
But theres only one set, so what ever you watch
Well, you know I gotta watch it too
Say, give it up, give it up, televisions taking its toll
Thats enought, thats enough, gimme the remote controll
I been nice, I been good, please dont do this to me
Turn it off, turn it off, I dont want to have to see
The brady bunch
Not the brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Yeah, the brady bunch
Its the story of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother
The youngest one in curls
Its a story of a man named brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own
They were four men living all together
Yeah, but they were all alone
Until the one day, one day when the lady met the fellow
And they knew, and they knew it was much more than a hunch
Then they knew this group must somehow form a family
Thats the way, thats the way, thats the way they all became
The brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Yeah, the brady bunch
Well, the brady bunch
Oh, its the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch
Oh, the brady bunch, yeah
Oh, the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Well, its the brady bunch
Its the brady bunch

Man are from the soil
That's why man live and grow on the land
Man are weak but warm
Wizard are from the stone
That's why wizard seem amazing and strong
But wizard are brittle and stubborn
Immortal are from cloud and water
They can't be touched but always there
Immortal are eternal and fair

An ancient Chinese curse runs, "May you live in interesting times." Since the fall of the Roman Empire, there has rarely been more interesting times than these. Whenever history becomes unstable and destinies hang in the balance, then magicians and messiahs appear everywhere. Our own civilization has moved into an epoch of permanent crisis and upheaval, and we are beset with a plague of wizards. They serve a historic purpose, for whenever a society undergoes radical change, alternative spiritualities proliferate, and from among these a culture will select a new world view.

A wizard cannot do everything; a fact most magicians are reticent to admit, let alone discuss with prospective clients. Still, the fact remains that there are certain objects, and people, that are, for one reason or another, completely immune to any direct magical spell. It is for this group of beings that the magician learns the subtleties of using indirect spells. It also does no harm, in dealing with these matters, to carry a large club near your person at all times.

Strange Magic
Youre sailing softly through the sun
In a broken stone age dawn.
You fly so high.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Youre walking meadows in my mind,
Making waves across my time,
Oh no, oh no.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Oh, Im never gonna be the same again,
Now Ive seen the way its got to end,
Sweet dream, sweet dream.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Its magic, its magic, its magic.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic,
You know I got a strange magic,
Yeah, I got a strange magic,
Oo-o-o-oo, strange magic. (fade)

The Plagues On Egypt
When God spoke to Moses about Egypt He made it clear from the start,
To show His Power and Glory He was going to harden Pharaoh's heart.
When Aaron's staff became a snake Pharaoh turned to his magic art,
Because he relied upon sorcerers God began to harden his very heart.
And when God plagued Egypt with blood and frogs throughout the land,
Pharaoh saw relief and he refused to acknowledge God's Uplifted Hand.
Even when God turned the dust into gnats causing the magicians dread,
And pointed to The Finger of God; Pharaoh was unmoved like God said.
Next He plagued Egypt with flies in all the houses and on the ground,
But to make God's people distinct in Goshen not a fly could be found.
God then struck and killed all of Egypt's livestock out in the field,
And even though none died in Goshen, Pharaoh still would not yield.
When the soot in the air turned into fine powder throughout the land,
The magicians broke out with boils and before Moses could not stand.
With hail God struck down all that was in the field that had breath,
And He followed with a plague of locusts to devour all that was left.
Since Pharaoh refused to obey due to his heart's increasing hardness,
God gave light to His people and covered Egypt in complete darkness.
God finally struck down all the firstborn of Egypt by Uplifted Hand,
This caused Pharaoh to expel the Israelites out of his wicked land.
A Magnificent Dream
Under the weather,
I hit the sack,
And after a spell,
I was gone,
In the glorious world of magic.
There i spot,
Sorcerers and witches,
Making potions,
And flying n brooms,
In the glorious world of magic.
Swishing wands,
Yaking with soals,
Elfs and Inferies,
All i saw,
In the glorious world of magic.
But after i rouse,
All i remember,
Were the magnificent memories,
Of the sorcerers I saw,
In the glorious world of magic.

Dizzy In An Empty City
Mickey took his Minnie,
And they left to find
A place...
Where fantasies like theirs,
Weren't left on hold.
It's crucial they and Donald Duck,
Take Porgie Pig with Poo...
And Tigger Too
To thrive on shores...
Where fresh delusions are safe and kept,
To grow.
'Cause,
Bugs Bunny ain't hoppin'
And a psychic with bad news...
Comes to knock-knock-knockin',
With some locks...
And close up all the doors.
Being dizzy in an empty city don't pay the dues,
Like it did yeaterday.
Dizzy in an empty city just don't pay...
Like it should,
Today.
'That's odd,
Call the Wizard'.
Mickey took his Minnie,
And they left to find
A place...
Where fantasies like theirs,
Weren't left on hold.
'That's odd,
Call the Wizard'.
Dizzy in an empty city just don't pay...
Like it should,
Today.
'That's odd,
Call the Wizard.
That's odd,
Call the Wizard.
That's odd,
Call the Wizard...
Call the Wizard'.

I Can't Help Myself
Oh sugar pie, honey bunch
You know that i love you
I can't help myself
I love you and nobody else
In and out my life
You come and you go
Leaving just your picture behind
And i've kissed it a thousand times
When you snap your fingers or wink your eye
I come a running to you
Tied to you like a ball-and-chain
And there's nothing that i can do
Can't help myself
No, i can't help myself
Sugar pie, honey bunch
I'm weaker than a girl should be
I can't help myself
I'm a fool in love you see
I wanna tell you i don't love you
Tell you that we're through
And i've tried
But every time i see your face
I get all choked up inside
When i call your name
Boy it starts the flame
Burning in my heart
Tearin' it all apart
No matter how i try
My love i cannot hide
Sugar pie, honey bunch
You now that i'm weak for you
I can't help myself
I love you and nobody else
Ooh sugar pie honey bunch
I'll do anything you ask me to
I can't help myself
I want you and nobody else
Sugar pie, honey bunch
You know that i love you
I can't help myself
No no no, i can't help myself

The' Magicians' Of Our Times
We live in a world of magicians
All around us.
They are the magicians of the kind
Who don`t make a living but mar many a life.
A magician is seen among our 'dear' friends,
Yet one more among our 'close' relatives,
Then is seen another among our rulers
The last one emerges from our well wishers and colleagues.
Every magician wears a cap with no feathers thereon
And he barks at us like a dog often.
We remain calm and quiet with reason dead
And our fall begins to depths infinite.
The magicians hold a wand with a curve at the end
And our heads are held within and soon pulled close to them.
The magicians ask us to spare our valuables for every show
And they pound them to powder many times.
Every magician cuts a woman into two
Later she is brought back alive.
Behind the curtains two women shed tears
For there is another magic played in their lives by him.
Each magic lasts for a phase of time
But we often refuse to leave the dark hall.
Each magic leaves us bloodless
And our minds turn pale for a longer phase.
Each magic mesmerises us and we go for the next show as well.
When their coffers fill to the brim
Every magician leaves and his apprentice enters
The show re begins and by then we fall dead!
