Nothing so bold as a miller's shirt (because it takes a thief by the throat every morning).

Nothing bolder than the miller's shirt, that every morning collars a thief.
Thief! ! !
You are a thief
THIEF, THIEF, THIEF
Thief from bones and soul
Thief till dust and ash
THIEF, THIEF, THIEF
Thief who steals and shouts
Thief who cheats and hides
You have a pride
A pride of THIEF
You have an ethic
An ethic of THIEF
You have rules
Rules of THIEF
You take what you want
And run from everyone
Irresponsible about what you’ve done
Leave this mess to be blown
THIEF, THIEF, THIEF
There’s nothing real
From your belonging
You’re just a thief
And why I should follow a thief

Thief In The Night
Far off in the distance, a shape in the night, alright
On a mission of mercy, if the price is right
He tries to possess her and she bites
Its a ritual slaying, but the tables are turned, oh no
And now hes prayin, but its his turn to burn
Like a thief in the night - she breaks into his heart
Like a thief in the night - she never leaves her mark
In a hotel chamber, on a cryptic note
cos where theres fire, theres gotta be smoke, oh no
Footsteps in the twilight, and red nails round his throat
Its a ritual slaying, without strings attached, oh no
And now hes praying, but theres no turning back
Like a thief in the night - she breaks into his heart
Like a thief in the night
Like a thief in the night - she never leaves her mark
Like a thief in the night - alright, alright
Like a thief in the night - she breaks into his heart
Like a thief in the night - alright, alright
Like a thief in the night - she never leaves her mark
Like a thief in the night
Like a thief in the night (repeats out)

The Shirt
The buttonholes were empty.
The buttons had all let go.
The shirt was now a remnant,
one he did outgrow.
The sleeves were short so he rolled them.
The plaid material was faded.
Now it was getting much too tight
as he saw his name brocaded.
The name was what she called him,
'Sonny, sonny boy.'
Her voice came back when he wore it.
It was a sound of joy.
He would have to give up wearing it
and pray that she would know
that no other shirt he'd ever wear
were what her hands did sew.
Mom. dear mom you come alive
everytime I see that shirt.
It helps me when I'm missing you.
It takes away the hurt.
Every other shirt that I have worn
could never quite replace
the feeling I get when I see it
for I see your loving face.

You Look Good In My Shirt
When you walked up behind me and covered my eyes
And whispered in my ear, guess who
I rattled off names like I really didnt know
But all along I knew it was you
And, the longer we talked, the more we laughed
And wondered why we didnt last
It had been a long time, but later last night
Baby, we caught up real fast
And maybe its a little too early
To know if this is gonna work
All I know is youre sure looking
Good in my shirt
Thats right
You look good in my shirt
Well now Im not saying that we solved overnight
Every way that we went wrong
Oh, but what Im seeing Id sure love seeing
Every morning from now on
And maybe its a little too early
To know if this is gonna work
All I know is youre sure looking
Good in my shirt
Cmon now
Aww thats right
Oh you look so fine
And maybe its a little too early
To know if this is gonna work
All I know is youre sure looking
Good in my shirt
And maybe its a little too early
To know if this is gonna work
All I know is youre sure looking
Good in my shirt
You look good in my shirt
You look good in my shirt

A Thief In Us.
Knock down, a game, when two sights of eyes collide,
Once knocked down, countdown takes a life time,
What message is shared, when two minds speak,
Once spoken, it takes a lifetime to understand.
What notoriety is this to have the hearts stolen,
Once stolen, let it be as it is, not to prosecute,
Everyone wants to be a thief, looking for a victim,
Victim and thief are so proud for they steal a heart.

Thief Without The Take (feat. Inger Lorre)
(i.lorrej.buckley)
Jeff duets with inger lorre and plays guitar on this song, contained in inger lorre's album trascendental medication.
Oh baby didn't you hear?
I'm goin' solo dear,
So low dear
I am the thief without the take
I'm swallowing the bitterest pill
Totally ever so against my will
I am the thief without the take,
I am the thief without the take,
Everytime i try to do my art
Always fallin' apart,
Fallin' apart
I am the thief without the take,
I am the thief without the take,
I'm the desert without sun
Five minus one diamond without shine
I'm the poem that doesn't rhyme
I'm the king on the hill
Sick and ill
Nothin' i wouldn't trade to be the serving knave
I'm the sun without heat
The drum without the beat
I'm the winter without snow
Flame without a glow
I am the thief without the take,
I am the thief without the take
Everytime i try to do my art
Always fallin' apart,
Fallin' apart
I am the thief without the take,
I am the thief without the take
I've stolen from myself too too long
It's just the music makes me want to go on
I am the thief without the take

Hes A Thief
He steals hearts and he steals my kisses
He stole away my love
He steals my thoughts
And now it seems
He stole into my dreams
Cos hes a thief , oh
Hes a thief
Hes a thief
Hes got me ensnared in his clutches
His love does not seem real
Hes got me there , in solitaire
His love is made of steel
But hes a thief , oh yeah
Hes a thief , oh
Hes a thief
I locked my heart and threw away the key
But hes knocked once and open sesame
He steals hearts and he steals my kisses
He stole away my love
He steals my thoughts
And now it seems
He stole into my dreams
But hes a thief
Oh, hes a thief
Hes a thief ( fadeout)

Save a thief from the gallows and he will cut your throat.
Save a thief from the gallows and he'll be the first who shall cut your throat.

To suffer fifty weeks of the year for the sake of a two-week vacation, when all you really desire is to be outdoors, with your shirt off.

Give Me Back My Shirt
You stole my shirt again
The one with stains
Beneath my armpits
You lied and said
The shirt somehow fell
Into your suitcase
A dark black shadow
That hurled itself off a cliff
And landed inside your
Sad blonde soul
And when you sleep alone at night
In the naked stretch of your wine-soaked skin
Do you smell my harsh manly aroma
In the pillow of your theft?
Do you wet yourself in the taste of
The baby felons we might make?
Do you imagine yourself wearing
My body
Upon the sharp thrusts of my
Contempt
And
Love?
For a liar, a thief, a fetishist for
Fabric
That revives memories
Of lust long faded
You stole my shirt again
The one that has faint traces
Of your drool, in the way you
Drip yourself upon me
In the hot slumber of your
Babbling incoherent dreams
Give me back my shirt
It was a present from my sister
Who rarely bought me anything
Except for a blue cotton candy
Vivid blue
Like your icy sullen eyes
In the childhood
Of my lonely
Indelible
Lament

U Thief, U Stole My Heart
U thief, U stole my heart
Oh, the grief, i am torn all apart
U thief, U stole my heart
Oh, the brief encounter, i should have known it would b
bad from the start
U thief, U stole my heart
Oh, the relief, i don't have 2 let u in, I guess even though
i will b lonely, i win
U thief, U stole my heart
Oh, the belief, y do i dare, y do i even care
U thief, U stole my heart
Oh, the mischief, i saw the signs, but i chose not 2 read
between the lines
U thief, U stole my heart
Like the falling leaf, i will just have 2 make a new start

Nicked My Heart, You Thief!
A stocking mask- worn culprit,
came on a bike from behind,
snatched my chain and sped away.
I worried much for my unkind fate
and sat sleepless through the night.
To my surprise, I found it placed
on the porch of my house in the morn.
“O my parrot, tell me! Who is that
naughty one playing mischief?
It repeated: ”‘That one! That one! ”
A month later, I was shocked to find out,
my scooter missing, on coming out of a bank.
I lodged a complaint at the nick, though,
I had no hope of getting my vehicle back.
Good Heavens! I found it back,
on the porch in the morning.
“ O my parrot, tell me that someone,
who robs my things and brings them back,
to give me sweetful shocks! ”.
My lovely parrot repeated, “That one! That one! ”
On a fine evening, I enjoyed the music,
played by some guys of my class.
There was looting spree of the hearts
by a singer of old, melting melodies!
I suffered being sleepless, forgetful
and my parents saw me, ’absent-minded’.
“ O my parrot! You know someone, the thief,
Is hiding in my hearty haven”.
My parrot said twice: “ Thief! Thief! ”
In the early morning, a flash of thought,
rushed me to the porch to find that singer,
standing there with a bouquet!
“ You, the thief! ”, I smiled. My cheerful parrot,
Perching on his shoulder, repeated: ” Thief! Thief! ”.

Salt
Early this morning
his mother asked his father
for some money
to buy salt.
But,
his father refused
and hit his mother
who did so much talking.
The boy
went out the house
and headed
to the market.
There,
he begged the salt vendors
for a little salt
but the vendors only told him,
'go home boy, and get some money! '
Now the boy
is running
with a bag of salt in his arms
and the people are screaming
