Not all the words that were ever uttered are worth weighing on golden scales.

The Weigh In
It was Friday evening
the time for being weighed
before bath in the nursing home
and Anne was standing
behind you in the queue of kids
leaning on her crutch
the stump of her leg
just visible beneath
her short red skirt
and she whispered to you
how much do you weigh Skinny Kid?
I don't know
you replied
maybe 84lbs
she snorted 84lbs?
my pussy weighs more than that
she whispered
her warm breath
on your ear
the kids in front of you
moved up and Monica
the girl with burn scars
climbed off
the weighing scales
what do you weigh Scarface?
Anne called out
don't be cruel Anne
the nurse near the scales said
oops sorry nurse
it just slipped out
Anne said
(so the bishop said
to the actress
Anne whispered
in your ear)
after a few more kids
got on and off
the scales after
being weighed
it was your turn
and you climbed on the scales
and the red line
showed 77lbs
and the nurse said
what it showed
and you got off
and Anne crutched herself
onto the scales
and you stood
and watched
as the red line showed 112lbs
now that
said Anne looking at you
is real poundage
and as she got off the scales
she ushered you outside
into the passageway
and said
here feel my thigh
go on
have a feel
and she grabbed
your hand
and made you
touch her thigh
it was smooth
and warm
you're such a thin bastard
Skinny Kid
you need to fatten yourself up
she released your hand
and you followed her
along to the lounge
where others waited
for bath time
she nibbled
your earlobe affectionately
and crutched herself
over to the armchair
in the corner
and pinched Monica
on her way
giving out
a snort of laughter
as Monica uttered
loud moans
and you sensed
the dampness
on your earlobe
like a loving memento
which you hoped
would last
but knew
it would
like passing time
soon go.

The Value Of Words
Words what value words
when spoken in haste
what is their worth
words spat in spite
or an envious game
false words meaningless
what value words
a trusting word
honest and open speaks
volumes when listen to
without agenda given
with care and thought
placed into its being
what becomes its worth
words in variety
of context and meaning
fill blank spaces
where sometimes silence
is a more welcome sound
where nothing is better said
words have a value
consider their worth

No-One On Earth
A tropic isle pack your bags let's go
And leave it all to Cupid's bolts and bows
Golden words on silver tongues
Can't you tell, can't you
No one on earth can love me like you do
No one on earth can make me feel so
It won't be worth the chance of losing you
No one on earth can make me feel brand new
And everything fits 'cos they're my favourite little bits
When we're alone, nothing else exists
Golden words on silver tongues
And don't you know when I'm coming on strong
Can't you tell, can't you
No one on earth can love me like you do
No one on earth can make me feel so
It won't be worth the chance of losing you
No one on earth can make me feel brand new
Golden words on silver tongues
Don't you know when I'm coming on strong
No one on earth can love me like you do
No one on earth can make me feel so
It won't be worth the chance of losing you
No one on earth can make me feel brand new

The Sounds Of Birds
It's in the chirps-the sounds of birds,
As though repeating your oft uttered words:
Seen everywhere I could gather thought-
To truly love, without bound, you have taught!
The words come to me in dream and whilst awake,
Each time I do hear, away again my breath it does take-
My purpose in my life, defined by feelings mutual-
Ne'er has there been more need for sentiment perpetual! !
Words still are only just that, meaning naught without more,
Actions in keeping with pathos do bespeak amity's core!
Alas, not able are we to belie-
Nor, to fully answer the query-why? !
Every bird's song you shall hear, from now, uttered,
Be sure can you that my heart again has fluttered!

The Human Mouth
The human mouth is great,
When sacred be the words,
That issue forth from heart,
To change a man’s sad fate!
But, none really know,
What uncouth words come out;
Unpredictable’s the mouth,
Of evil men/ women.
The scene determines words!
And words can do magic;
The face may lag behind,
The uttered words, sometimes.
Yet, words may do damage,
That ne’er can be undone;
Then, seal your lips and see,
Much harm can elude us!

you must know i only uttered i love you once
speaking of love, yes, love, what can i say about love,
i cannot speak it without using the word
you,
it is always you, because without you, love cannot even exist
as a word,
or even a thought or even a waft of air to cool my senses,
without you,
love cannot even exist as a blood cell in my heart
or a vein or a chamber
where love usually sleeps,
it is you,
always it is you that i will always equate with love,
you must know
i only uttered i love you
once, and it was true, and it is still true,
the rest
are the words of the drunk man, the broken heart trying
to relive what was once truly uttered,
reenacting,
imitating but always falling short of the truth
years ago
again the words kneeled before God in an old church
with you
our hands may have clasped in prayer
if you remember
our hands finally found each other
touching and holding tight as i said
i love you
as you said
i love you too
that was many years ago,
truth does not know how to die,
true love lives in that
i love you,
forever, always,
you,
i love you,
wherever you are now,
you
must know,
that is the truth that until now
i live
that until now
i am living and thinking still only of you............

Words Are Useful
in times of breaking up
words are useful
gently the words must be uttered
like some fruits in a silver platter
nothing hurtful
no one to blame
words become memories
flowers that you pick and then throw away
just like that
as easy as i once know you...

Alma 38: 12
Is an eye a distraction
to the souls whose owned by the heavens?
When their eyes met, did others notice
that their souls have warred, yet their hearts united;
Bridled passions unbridled, but the feeling's never wanted...
From her eyes to his own
was I the only one to notice
the eternal words were uttered
yet those words were never said.
When he looked away from her
was I the only one to wonder
why those words were never uttered
why the tears were never shed?
Unbridled passions bridled, for the feeling's never wanted.
Still, the melodies of the mem'ries never end...
and only elements of heavens know when
their eyes would meet again.

Dear One
Dear one, how do I find the words,
the words I need to say?
Do they even exist my love?
For words can never convey
my feelings
my emotions,
my love for you
not on any day.
Dear one,
What good are words
that only drift away?
Words that I need to stay,
uttered sounds are here a while.
I speak and then I smile
hoping that in some small way
you'll know on every day
You are my dear one.

I Think That...(thoughts on words and promises)
Words… are so easy to say
Promises, ne’er so hard to keep
Words… easily written
Promises, not to be shallow or deep
Words…so effortlessly uttered
Promises, should never be broken
Words…so unthinkingly muttered
Promises, not given only in token
Words…so empty… so easy to say
Promises… never just idle notions
Words should be true in every way…and
Promises be pledges of devotions

Words, Oh, They Come Later Before The Explosion Actually
words are not just words
she cries sometimes and i wonder
if i have said something that makes the tears
and let them flow like the waterfalls
of Maria Cristina
how i still wonder
if i have written the words that know how
to pierce the conscience
and burst the bubble
and detonate and explode
the grenades and the landmines
of the war grounds
and theaters of
war
what simply exists there even the word
is uttered.

Silent Is Only Mine
Only silent is mine I thought
And uttered words not
And you listen
My song.
words exhausted
Over completed
And I gazed at the sky
Everything there safe.

How The Words Are Taking The Man
let me start with one word
another word takes in another
and they begin to talk to one another
i let the third word go
and they will ask another one
to equalize both sides
they will soon invite other words
until they will make a crowd
and the words get so many
now with mouths and no ears
like the drink the words take the man
and after so man y words have been uttered
you begin to regret every word that got in
so many and now you feel so empty.

So far as I know, anything worth hearing is not usually uttered at seven o'clock in the morning; and if it is, it will generally be repeated at a more reasonable hour for a larger and more wakeful audience.
And you still do not care
Your golden eyes,
Your golden hair,
Your golden voice
I always hear.
I say these words
With such a fear
And you, my dear,
You still don't care.

Hand Of Providence
Michael w. smith
Providence, providence
See it laying down the cornerstone
The hand of providence - its evident
For we could never make it on our own
Apportioning the power
Weighing all that it entails
Giving us the fulcrum
And a balance to the scales
Chorus:
Oh, the hand of providence
Is guiding us through choices that we make
Oh, the hand of providence
Is reaching out to help us on our way
Providence, ever since
Any thesis ever entered man
The hand of providence
Has been our best defense
Tho his ways are sometimes hard to understand
From the dying of a heartbeat
To another soul reborn
From in between and circling
Our thoughts of love and war
Chorus

Golden Touch
Golden touch
I was broken till you came along
You put the words back into my song
In your world is where I now belong
Golden touch is it that I love you so much
I was lost till I met you
I now love everything you do
I live now just because of you
Golden touch
Your are the object of my desire
I am like a cat on a high wire
For you I would walk in front of gunfire
Golden touch
This to you I must confess
Your mind and body I want to possess
I long for you to kiss and caress
Golden touch my Liege
You are the key to my success
My love I can no longer suppress
You are a beautiful princess
Golden touch
To me I grant you total access
With you I feel no distress
You have driven me to total madness
Golden touch
No longer these thoughts I can suppress
With my eyes you I’ve undress
If the world would know I could care less
Golden touch
These words I wish to you to express
You’ve brought me out of my sadness
You’ve driven back the darkness
You are my goddess and my empress
Golden touch
I wasn’t quite right and you made me see the light
You are what I’ve been longing for
With your love I could never want more
