No wonder if he breaks his head who stumbles twice over one stone.

Collision
Collision, my mission,
When the dawn breaks
With a handshake
Relaxed and feelin great
Screeching head on, head on, head on
Im needing a head on, head on, head on
Screeching, head on, head on, head on
Im needing a head on, head on, head on
All the days plans
All the shaken hands
Beepers and suntans
Screeching, head on, head on, head on
Im needing a head on, head on, head on
Screeching, head on, head on, head on
Im needing a head on, head on, head on
Collision, my mission
Head on, head on, head on, head on
(sample of people talking)
When the dawn breaks
With a handshake
Relaxed and feelin great
Collision, my mission
Head on, head on, head on,
Head on, head on, head on,
Head on,
Head on,
Head on

He who stumbles twice over one stone deserves to break his shins.
Nancy Boy
Alcoholic kind of mood
Lose my clothes, lose my lube
Cruising for a piece of fun
Looking out for number one
Different partner every night
So narcotic outta sight
What a gas, what a beautiful ass.
And it all breaks down at the role reversal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
Kind of buzz that lasts for days
Had some help from insect ways
Comes across all shy and coy
Just another nancy boy.
Woman man or modern monkey
Just another happy junkie
Fifty pounds, press my button
Going down.
And it all breaks down at the role reversal
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
Does his makeup in his room
Douse himself with cheap perfume
Eyeholes in a paper bag
Greatest lay I ever had
Kind of guy who mates for life
Gotta help him find a wife
Were a couple, when our bodies double.
And it all breaks down at the role reversal
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
And it all breaks down at the role reversal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.
And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal,
Got the muse in my head shes universal,
Spinnin me round shes coming over me.

May your friendship not be like a stone: if it breaks you cannot put the pieces together. May it be like iron: when it breaks, you can weld the pieces back together.
Fallow Me (live)
It's time now to move a bit
Forget about the stone faced angels
Just move along keep moving on
Silver to gold on the streets
There's no pavements of gold, in the heat
There's no more golden years - there your feet
Follow me to end of the earth before it all breaks down
They try to run from the cold
No retreat there's nowhere left to go
It's time now to move a bit forget about the stone age ages
Just move along keep moving on
Silver to gold and stone
The city's crushing you stand alone but that's no way to be
Follow me to the end of the earth
Follow me before it all breaks down
Follow me you'll find if you go there
Your waiting there to be found
Follow me you turn around
We believe the same old story
Where heroes wear the crown
We don't see the fame and glory
And watch the world go down

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 34
When a sage comes in contact with fools, he must not expect to be honoured, and if an ignorant man overcomes a sage in an oratorical contest, it is no wonder, because even a stone breaks a jewel.
What wonder is there that the song
Of a nightingale ceases when imprisoned with a crow
Or that a virtuous man under the tyranny of vagabonds
Feels affliction in his heart and is irate.
Although a base stone may break a golden vase,
The price of the stone is not enhanced nor of the gold lost.
Einstein, Nicholas, My Fantastic Wife And Our Dog On The Beach At Home
a stone
a relative stone
a meteoric stone
a Newtonian stone
a photoelectric stone
a stone from Manhattan
a thermodynamic stone
one stone
a son
in my life
in my wife
a sun
alone

Even If He Feels It
Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.
A man who stumbles,
Will not allow himself to be broken.
Even IF he feels it.
He may even show it hurts.
However,
When he begins to believe he is...
He will spend the rest of his life,
A broken man.
With only sadness to offer!
And memories of failure to share.
Recalling a stumbling fall,
Over and over.
Wise is the man who stumbles...
Gets up.
And continues to move forward.
Many would rather sit,
And relive the experience,
Of it.
To discuss the affects.
Seeking pity!
Or something to numb,
The effects of regret!

The Stone
The stone
The stone by the dave matthews band
Ive this creeping, suspicion that things here are not as they seem.
Reassure me, oh why do I feel as if Im in too deep.
Now Ive been praying, for some way to show them Im not what they see.
Yes I have done wrong, but what I did I thought needed be done, I swear.
Oh, unholy day, if I leave now I might get away.
Oh but this weighs on me, as heavy as stone and as blue as I go.
I was just wondering if youd come along.
Hold up my head when my head wont hold on.
Ill do the same if the sames what you want,
If not Ill go, I will go a long...
..long way, ah, from that fools mistake.
And now forever pay, no run, I will run and Ill be ok.
I was just wondering if youd come along.
Hold up my head when my head wont hold on.
Ill do the same if the sames what you want,
But if not Ill go, I will go a long...
...long way, to bury the past for I dont want to pay.
Oh how I wish, this, to turn back the clock and do over again.
Now Im hust wondering if youd come a-long.
Hold up my head when my head wont hold on.
Ill do the same if the sames what you want,
But if not Ill go, Ill go alone.
I need so, to stay in your arms, see you smile, hold you close.
And now it weighs on me, as heavy as stone and of bone chilling cold.
I was just wondering if youd come a--long.
Tell me you will.

The Stone
there is something about the stone
that i have been complaining
for not being able to understand
its choice to be silent
and hard
and numb and uncommitted
when it is thrown in the river
it makes no sound of protest
when it is ground
it does not scream
when the rain comes it seems
to be contented with being wet
just the same when the sun shines
and heats it
it makes no bother
until some naughty boy takes a stone
and hits my head
and when i begin to bleed
seeing the very stone used
staring at me without guilt
for any responsibility at all
on the ground
that i begin to understand all these things
what a stone is, how come that a stone shall always be
a stone
no matter what.

In Veronicas Head
He lifted her face from the pillow and said, baby such is life
And then he pushed his suitcase out through the door
And givem something to talk about
The door slammed, left a scar
Shed be damned she could see him in his car
So much for marriage and the good, good wife
Well, maybe its a fact of life
But in veronicas head the wheels were burning
Turning out of frustration
Veronicas bed mocked every private
Thing she said to the bastard
She dyed her hair black in the bathroom mirror
Hed liked it blonde on his wife
An act of independence, a small victory
Hey, it was something to shout about
Cause at night, shed crack
Shed feel his strong fingers raking down her back
Shed wake up angry, but turned on like a light
Yeah maybe its a fact of life
But in veronicas head the wheels were burning
Turning out of frustration
Veronica said, she would never be the same, no
But in veronicas head, the fields were burning
Burning down the destruction
She turns around, hes there
Confusing her with his promises
And crying on the telephone
She twists and she turns in circles
With all of her strength, she breaks free
She stumbles and she nearly falls
But in veronicas head the wheels were burning
Turning out of frustration
Veronica said she would never be the same, no
But in veronicas head the fields were burning
Burning down the destruction
Veronicas bed, she lies there listening
Late at night to her heartbeat, oooh
The wheels are turning
And in veronicas head the fields are burning
The wheels are turning
The fields are burning

When a stone hits glass, the glass breaks. When glass hits a stone, the glass breaks.
Rainy Day Women #12 & 35
Well, they'll stone ya when you're trying to be so good,
They'll stone ya just a-like they said they would.
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to go home.
Then they'll stone ya when you're there all alone.
But i would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.
Well, they'll stone ya when you're walkin' 'long the street.
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to keep your seat.
They'll stone ya when you're walkin' on the floor.
They'll stone ya when you're walkin' to the door.
But i would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.
They'll stone ya when you're at the breakfast table.
They'll stone ya when you are young and able.
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to make a buck.
They'll stone ya and then they'll say, "good luck."
Tell ya what, i would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.
Well, they'll stone you and say that it's the end.
Then they'll stone you and then they'll come back again.
They'll stone you when you're riding in your car.
They'll stone you when you're playing your guitar.
Yes, but i would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.
Well, they'll stone you when you walk all alone.
They'll stone you when you are walking home.
They'll stone you and then say you are brave.
They'll stone you when you are set down in your grave.
But i would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.

The Stone That You Love
you are unique
for having loved a stone
how did the stone
entice you?
are you seduced by
its silence?
are you tempted by
its solitude?
you take the pain
poking the stone to
your heart
and you bleed
you rub the stone
in the skin of your body
hoping that someday
the stone may have
feelings and
love you
but this is all useless
the stone is a stone is a stone
and there is no love
in its blank stare
there is no softness in its
belly
i ponder upon this
and come to think of it
you and the stone
are the same
on this hardheadedness
this futility
this numbness
this suffering without end
the stone can never give
a part of its cracks
it will never part with its
dust

Walking Toeless
Stone by stone you kill me.
Petal by petal I die -
holding a scalpel
to unwrite my name.
Violence
erupts among words.
A temple breaks.
O goddess! don't cry beyond silence.
The infant's milk
spills in darkness.
Antiquity raises a wall
around the mother.
I am vanishing now,
freezing my assets.

Ch 01 Manner of Kings Story 21
It is narrated that an oppressor of the people, a soldier, hit the head of a pious man with a stone and that the dervish, having no means of taking vengeance, preserved the stone till the time arrived when the king became angry with that soldier, and imprisoned him in a well. Then the dervish made his appearance and dropped the stone upon his head. He asked: "Who art thou, and why hast thou hit my head with this stone?" The man replied: "I am the same person whom thou hast struck on the head with this stone on such and such a day." The soldier continued: "Where hast thou been all this time?" The dervish replied: "I was afraid of thy dignity but now when I beheld thee in the well I made use of the opportunity."’
When thou seest an unworthy man in good luck
Intelligent men have chosen submission.
If thou hast not a tearing sharp nail
It will be better not to contend with the wicked.
Who grasps with his fist one who has an arm of steel
Injures only his own powerless wrist.
Wait till inconstant fortune ties his hand.
Then, to please thy friends, pick out his brains.
A Tempest
A chief cornerstone is what you are looking for,
But the stone that the builders rejected has become the head!
So abstain from your fleshly lust and do what is right.
Of your chaste conduct,
Having eyes full of adultery;
But like the clouds driven away by the tempest,
Try to gloom out of the darkness!
These are wells without water,
Like the words written down by the Holy Prophets and Apostles;
But, the stone you are looking for is now the head.
