Love, passion and lust
Love demands no right;
Love demands no weight;
Love demands no return.
A mother thus loves.
Passion demands hold;
Passion demands right;
Passion demands return.
A woman can translate it.
Lust finds no ethics;
Lust exudes no fear.
Lust demands no reason.
A man is adept of it.

Art Consumes Flame Immortal Souls
What is the curse of no time
for any artist for all artists?
Art demands time
all consuming time
times of precise reflection
times of informative focus
times of intense productivity
times of perceptive clarity
times of felt vision testimony
times of account sensitivity
times of passion commentary
times of creative outpourings
times of artistic servitude
means art more demands
than a mere pound of flesh
art demands fibres of our being
art demands neurons identities
art demands touch sound stimuli
art demands light radiant souls
art demands devotes of the mind
art demands paid vision ransoms
art demands intense internal bleeding
art demands pain waltz symphonies
art demands epic universal certainties
art demands artists lifetime creations
art consumes flame immortal souls

But communication is two-sided - vital and profound communication makes demands also on those who are to receive it... demands in the sense of concentration, of genuine effort to receive what is being communicated.

Dignity Demands...
dignity demands...
i be who i am,
i stand for what i am,
and i do so with respect!
dignity demands...
i see others for who they are,
that i accept them for who they are,
and do so with respect!
dignity demands...
that i live freedom and equality,
bound by no man nor creed,
and that i live with respect.
dignity demands...
that i do this job,
of living and giving well...
knowing respect brings respect!
dignity demands...

Peace demands the most heroic labor and the most difficult sacrifice. It demands greater heroism than war. It demands greater fidelity to the truth and a much more perfect purity of conscience.

Communication (Creation)
communication demands honesty,
honesty demands nakedness,
nakedness demands knowing who you are!
the act of creation merely
god communicating with herself!

Fragments Of Solid Stone
Assumptions understood,
Hampers an understanding one demands.
Clarity misted in foggy speech...
Makes less sense,
When passed from first
To second hand.
How to keep integrity protected,
When it is infected with flaws?
How can statements be respected...
When truth is kept behind shut jaws?
Not a shred of honesty seeps,
When one seeks to appease...
With a purpose to awe!
Assumptions understood,
Hampers an understanding one demands.
Clarity misted in foggy speech...
Makes less sense,
When passed from first
To second hand.
And taking a stand,
To reveal realities be known...
May be tossed about like pieces of plastic,
To convince distractions of the masses,
These are fragments of solid stone!

The real exertion in the case of an opera singer lies not so much in her singing as in her acting of a role, for nearly every modern opera makes great dramatic and physical demands.

the War Lost
Friday's depression
refused to
wait 'til Monday
It
demanded
immediate attention
It
demanded
immediate action
Now,
there are no
demands.
Death
makes no
demands
Shades drawn.
A sunny day.
Blacked-out room,
without breath
Friday's depression
refused to
wait for Monday
Many battles
had been won.
Now, a war lost.
Never to see
another battle, ever.
Everyone
struggles
within

Envy And Jealousy
We walk paths on our own way,
while others try to force us
to walk paths with only them.
Some get ungrateful
if we only walk awhile,
and then help someone else
on their lonely mile.
They get jealous
if we do for others
what you are only expected
to do just for them.
Therefore, it goes on and on,
until one day they look around,
finding their demands
have left them without friends.
They so want to be noticed,
and they’ll do anything they can,
to try to force people
to notice them.
They wonder why
no one listens to their needs.
Wonder why people begin to turn away.
They forget about their demands
they put on others to stay,
they can only see what is good for them,
and not that others have needs to.
So they hurt those they should not,
hoping it will make them feel better.
Instead, it makes them feel worse
for their anger only forces people away.

Better
I hope that soon you will be well.
You don't deserve this bitter spell.
In the end you'll be better when it's quelled.
Fighting through such rotten hells.
Makes you stronger God tells.
To help you find the depths of strength filled wells.
How far you'll go, on you depends.
Fighting through with few demands.
Always offer helping hands.
To those who share in this great plan.
They'll help you too for what you do.
Faithful freinds are far and few.
They make you better it is true.
Just keep the faith and do not hate.
In Gods' time it's never too late.
He makes you better when you keep up pace.
So lift up your head and go to him.
He'll make you better when hope is slim.

I Don't Do Demands
I don't do demands!
I 'may' take a request,
Every now and then.
Very cautiously.
At one time...
I would dropp whatever I was doing,
To be at someone's beck-and-call.
I had to put an end to that.
Some folks began making suggestions,
As to how I could do for them...
A better job!
YES.
'Maybe you should do it this way.
So and so said...'
I don't do demands!
I 'may' take a request,
Every now and then.
Very cautiously.
And...
Very cautiously,
I ask myself...
IF I am prepared to receive critique,
By the one who has asked for my assistance.
I don't do demands.
Especially made by those who say...
'Will you do this for me.
AND make comments.'
~I feel very appreciative,
You are demanding of my time.
AND...
You would like my comments,
As to how that time of mine I've spent...
Was enjoyed.
I'm getting goosebumps already.
I am shivering all over with just the thought of it.~
