Have no illusions
Have no illusions –
Life is challenging
Have no illusions –
Marriage is not easy
Have no illusions –
Sometimes you’ll question
Have no illusions –
You will find fault
Have no illusions –
This is marriage
Have no illusions –
You will work it out
Have no illusions –
Hardship brings strength
Have no illusions –
You are each other’s rock
Have no illusions –
Love will endure.

It is natural to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes to that siren until she allures us to our death.

Promoted and Religiously Defended
The look and feel of it...
Are illusions.
Those participating in exchange,
Are illusions.
Even the illusions themselves,
Can be concluded to be exclusively...
Illusions.
With or without perceptions needed.
And yet...
God is the exception of this conception.
And He, She or It,
Can not be seen at all.
Although we remain devoted.
To keep what isn't real in our lives,
Promoted and religiously defended.

It is natural for a man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut out eyes against a painful truth and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms into beasts.

No Illusions
So let the rain fall on me
If its gotta be today its o.k.
And let the fire burn my ass
If its gotta be today its o.k.
Cause weve got no illusions
Cause weve got no illusions
Cause weve got no illusions
And let the water wash my brain
If its gotta be today its o.k.
And if the rivers will run dry
If they really want let them try
Cause weve got no illusions
Cause weve got no illusions, ohho
Cause weve got no illusions...

Indulge Me
My latest little mood
A darker shade of blue
Still I draw closer to you
My pretty little dress
Begins to look a mess
Infatuation come through
Enlighten me with you
Look at things the way you do
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Take heart Im telling you
My life has come too soon
But somewhere Ill find some time
In every other way
Youve told me what to say
These final words now are mine
Enlighten me with you
Look at things the way you do
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Make the dream come true
Show me how to comfort you
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
You may have walked away
But were still as close
As when I gazed
Deep in your gentle eyes
Enlighten me with you
Look at things the way you do
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Make the dream come true
Show me how to comfort you
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Enlighten me with you
Look at things the way you do
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Make the dream come true
Show me how to comfort you
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Enlighten me with you
Look at things the way you do
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe
Make the dream come true
Show me how to comfort you
Indulge me please
Ill take the breath you breathe

On and On and On and On
Disappointments all around
still I keep living on
illusions from within
yet, I keep smiling on
Problems crop up in every front
still I keep marching on
failures strike me off and on
yet, I keep surging on
Boredom stops me midway jam
still I keep floating on
just as - machine switched auto on
yet, I keep silently rolling on
No applause or recognition, meri pyari jan
still I keep working on
with only hopes, you will take me on
yet, I keep dreaming on

Punishable
Playing any sort of role
Is a crime and punishable
Do not indulge in crimes.
Do not aid and abet criminals
It is a crime and punishable
Do not indulge in crimes.
Abide by the rules and regulations
If you can not abide by rules
It is abhorrent and is a crimes
And punishable
Do not indulge in crimes
Do not indulge in crimes
If you are really a human being.

Predictions
I bet on horses.
I gamble with cards.
I speculate in stocks.
It is not with greed
That I indulge in them.
It is not for the need
That I indulge in them.
It feeds my ego
In my ability to predict.

It's Not For Me To Know
Easy come and easy go for me that was the fun
It was something that I didn't think was so bad
Now I'm lookin' out my window but I don't know where I am
And I've given up trying to understand what I can't
I don't have any illusions anymore
And I've done all that I can do
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
And It's not for me to know
I stood under the moonlight to ill-luminate myself
Something I fell into from being kicked around
I don't have any illusions anymore
And I've done all that I can do
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
And It's not for me to know
No one seemed to notice seeing from smoke screen eyes
You can get what you want but I don't think it is true
I don't have any illusions anymore
And I've done all that I can do
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
It's not for me to know
And It's not for me to know
Yeah me to know

Love, a sport.
When you indulge in sports
You win not all or may lose all.
Yet, you indulge in sports.
Love is a sport; forget the result.

In wartime Shanghai I saw so many horrors … Civilised life is based on a huge number of illusions in which we all collaborate willingly. The trouble is, we forget after a while that they are illusions and we are deeply shocked when reality is torn down around us.

One Cannot Live One's Childrens' Lives For Them
ONE CANNOT LIVE ONE’S CHILDRENS’ LIVES FOR THEM
One cannot live one’s childrens’ lives for them-
Their pains are their pains-
Their disappointments their disappointments-
One cannot take them away
From every real hurt,
And make them live always
In Blessing Happiness Love.
One cannot live one’s childrens’ lives for them
Even their pain is their own
Though sometimes it hurts us so much
We do not feel the difference.

illusions film illusions;
reality’s the frame…
But Hindus have the best seats
in real life’s picture-house:
resting in eternity,
watching all else pass..

Look Sharp
Big shot, tell you what
Tell me what goes on around here
Go on and get me in the corner
Smoke my cigarettes and drink my beer
Tell me that this world is no place for the weak
Then you can look me in the eye
And tell me if you see a trace of fear
You gotta look sharp
You gotta look sharp
And you gotta have no illusions
Just keep going your way looking over your shoulder
Okay, what you say
Tell me what theyre wearing this year
Go on and laugh at me cause you dont see
That I got something going right here
Say Im just a dreamer
Say Im just a kid
Well ace, shut your face
Maybe you will see or hear
You gotta look sharp
You gotta look sharp
And you gotta have no illusions
Just keep going your way looking over your shoulder
Big shot, thanks a lot
Gotta go its getting late
I got a date with my tailor now
Thanks for putting me so straight
Tell me how they run the crime down every street
But check your watch and wallet now
Before I go and youre too late
You gotta look sharp
You gotta look sharp
And you gotta have no illusions
Just keep going your way looking over your shoulder

If You May...
I would like to entwine my hands with yours, walking into the blue,
And heed everything you say.
Would this come true?
Well, only if you may...
Walking on ice, I'll support you
Walk towards me, all will be fine
The mysterious you'll walk into,
But know I'll be one to confide in, to walk straight as a line
Read this knowing,
I'm not one to divulge.
So to this message in reading,
Conceal and indulge
Of course, to indulge is to accept,
And bluntly, to accept, to discover, so to say.
So to discover, as it may be, in your life I intercept,
But of course, only if you may...

Indulge
Remove yourself from that which annoys.
Prioritize desires with scoops of joy employed.
Go somewhere where there is no one known there...
Take a deep breath and get issues off your chest.
Relax and let your mind rest,
And indulge yourself!
Remove your stress.
The next time something done is not liked.
Don't make it YOUR position...
To correct and make that condition right!
Even if you 'are' the boss,
Toss it aside and smile!
Let someone else wonder...
Where you are coming from,
Once in a while!
Don't give in to what's expected!
Surprise yourself and quickly reject it.
Do something different never tried before!
Go to a mirror...
And tell yourself you are adored!
Think about that more with a sense of truth.
Then ask yourself out on a date!
Treat yourself for 'one' as if it's 'two'!
And indulge,
As if it is owed to you!
