He who slaps himself on the face should not cry ouch.

As far as I'm concerned, love means fighting, big fat lies, and a couple of slaps across the face.

Redlight
Im falling
Dont bother
Id rather end up where i dropped off
Not making excuses
I guess i feel like i dont fit.
Your speaking but i just cant hear you
Who do you think is listening?
You noticed
I didnt
Go figure, If you got a minute
Your reaching
Im leaving
Dont say i never gave you nothing.
Its getting just a little creepy
The thoughts are there but nothings seeping
Its hard to say whats on my mind
The words are always one steop behind.
Im waiting on a redlight. Sitting on a time bomb
Nothing seems to go right. Still remaining calm
Walking on a tightrope. Emotionally amazed
A careful execution that slaps me in the face
Waiting on a redlight. But still remaining calm.
Im fed up
So boring
Swimming in a pool of quicksand
Not making
A scene
But please insert the nervous breakdown.
Take a needle, Stitch my mouth shut
Then apply a little make-up
with all the stupid things i say
The preasure keeps building everyday.
Im waiting on a redlight. Sitting on a time bomb
Nothing seems to go right. Still remaining calm
Walking on a tightrope. Emotionally amazed
A careful execution that slaps me in the face
Waiting on a redlight. But still remaining calm.(x2)

Your Face...
it comes on me sudden,
lightning without thunder.
a hole in the bucket,
the branch falls from the tree!
the quake and the tremor,
harsh wind slaps my face.
the fire gone out,
the night cold and dark.
a bent nail in the bridge,
the road that just ends.
the door left open,
the stranger's heavy breathing.
the touch, the smell,
and the taste of want...
want carried by love,
and love wears your face!

Facing The Truth
It is easy to say
That I will forget you,
But, when reality slaps me on the face,
I feel the full impact of a different picture
Being presented to me with a real feature
Getting me confused and lost in space
Dealing with feelings I can't refuse
And stuck with a debt I can't pay...

Life is truly a ride
We're all strapped in.
When the doctor slaps your behind,
he's ripping your ticket and
away you go.
As you make each passage
from youth to maturity,
sometimes you put your arms up
and just scream.
Somtimes all you can do is hang on
to the bar in front of you.
It is the ride
that is the thing.
I think the most you can hope for
at the end of life is that
your hair's messed up,
you have a smile on your face,
that only you know how it got there,
you've used up all you had,
you're out of breath and
you didn't throw up on yourself.

Another Heartless Rape
Beaten, forced down, surrender with no control,
A man has too much power, a man with no soul,
Quiet, be quiet, promise you'll make no noise,
Strength so overwhelming, the pride of these little boys,
Hand across the mouth, muffling the screams,
Forced to face reality, breaking our once had dreams,
The pulling of the hair, the hard slaps to the face,
Blood covers the floor, in this unknown place,
Tears stream down your cheeks, pleading him to stop,
Bruising your walls inside, brutally, as he's on top,
Noone there to help you, no superman, no cape,
Just another victim of another heartless rape,

She'll hide her face
She'll hide her face when shes not alone.
she slaps on her a mask, but its not her own.
It's the mask that everyone else wears.
She wants to be just like them
supposedly free with glee.
Free from her troubles, worries and strife.
Free from her demons that dominate her life.
But when the darkness falls.
And she's all her alone she can't hide her face.
Her mask falls and crumbles apart.
Her heart fills with the numbness she's had for many years.
Now her tears will fall she's all alone.
In her last bid for a better life,
She let the mask slip once.
She had to put it on again as they stared at her in disbelife.
The world didn't want to see her pain.
Rather belives she's an annoying pain.
So Her mask went back on.
Well she planned the day when she'd be gone.

In The Jungle
I am running through the brush
Oh the wind it slaps my face
I am running through the dirt
Running towards my fate
In this place
I am one with nature
In this place
I feel no pressure
So free so free
I’m somehow blessed
To be free so free
From everything else I can now rest
I’m in the jungle
All alone
That’s how I like it
To everybody else I am unknown
How could I wish to be a gem?
When I can be myself
There is no need to be like them
If I am allowed to be myself

My dog slaps you with his tail and bites you with his teeth.
The Bully
How it is that –
at shrine while saying prayers
sex was on your mind?
You hated the betrayal and emptiness of life.
but still tuned to sweet indulgence.
And then a sudden flash back
slaps in your face,
and you want to commit suicide.
Afraid of hurting your pride
I did’t fulfil my promise of wiping your tears
in a sprint of flinching ache.
It is night now
The words have a peculiar burnt-out smell
of the road,
as if they were smouldering
in hot ashes of peace.

I don't like poetry that just slaps violent words on a canvas, as it were.

Slaps On Aging Wrists
A society that initiates its own dilemmas,
And questions the mistakes it makes...
By seeking an escape from accountability.
Those they wish could be erased.
Has more than the ability to be self righteous,
On its side.
It also has a population unable to face,
The definition and meaning of maturity.
And the lack of it,
Has that society trapped in a childish mindset.
Hoping misdeeds will not receive,
No more than slaps on aging wrists!
'Your assessment is appalling! '
Tell me about it.
You have no idea how my observations,
Disgust me as well.
And...
We are all in the same boat.
Now isn't that a coincidence?

The matchmaker gets three cups of wine when he succeeds and three slaps on the cheek when he fails.
My Visitors This Morning
she comes early this morning
blue all over
and i give her tea and let her speak what is in her mind.
like she is a storm today,
she has given me turbulence, speaking about how abuse
can be inflicted, verbal physical emotional, against her
a woman of virtue
and intellect, she sips the tea and breaks some cookies
her breakfast today, and she continues about
what he did to her
i am listening then the door bell rings
it is him, and he gets another tea
for sympathy and he listens to her outpouring too,
these kinds of abuse
inflicted by one to another
getting to be
so normal an occurrence, that everyone seems to accept
without question,
she is his wife
the man has white hair, and balding, and his shirt
is not well ironed, his face still unwashed,
wrinkles on his face,
she is complaining about his abuses on her person
and he merely listens
and he wants to explain how these matters started
and how they may not be true
how violent can she become
when provoked by her
mood swings
her face changes from calm to something
you will not like
and she does what you may now believe
because she kicks him
she slaps him
and he merely listens
i guess, that explains the mess, that this couple
now intruding my privacy, has found themselves into,
i tell them i have other things to do today,
and since their tea is consumed, then they must now take
their leave
my morning is not that great, actually, i do not like it
and them too.

The Dark Knight
Out of the mist and darkness he comes
I smell the sweat
I hear the rattle of armor
The thunder of the horse hooves
The ring of the metal shoes on rock
I cannot see his eyes
His intent
There is only form
And sound
Louder and louder
There is no color
He reins hard to his left
Missing me by inches
The lather from the horse
Slaps across my face
The lance remains sheathed
I fear him
He will be back
I do not know the time
The place
He decides
He gives me not a glance
This time

A Question of Family -Values...
the child is confused
for when she tells the truth
about this
family's mess
she is warned
not to expose the
dirty linens
she reasons out
what is wrong with
the truth
is it not that the truth
sets us free
as mother once told
her?
papa says not all
truths must be
preached
family secrets for
instance
what a shame!
but it is a shame
then why did this
family do it?
shut up
the father shouts
at the little girl
and slaps her
small face with
his huge hands
the very reason
why you have seen
this little girl
on the street
crying

Tears of joy...
Perfume of tenderness
Soft hugs of kindness
Lips filled with honesty
A heart of loyalty
A brain of integrity
A voice of romance
Her Words exhilarate
That's the flower I hold
One that's very rare
With beauty that matches
Angels in the sky
Her beauty within
Matches yellow roses
Found in paradise
As beauty within
Wets my cocoon of life
Gladness slaps my face
Knowing the flames of love
Burns in my flower's heart
Gives gratification
Which makes me cry
Many tears of joy
